Bob's Discount Furniture bedroom

Hello yes my name is Edith Chavis. I purchase. A. Bedroom on 2/10/2017 at Bomb's furniture. On 4825 Golfroad when I purchase the furniture. it. Was the floor sample in perfect. Condition. The. Salesperson. Told me that they didn't. Deliver. Floor. Samplis so I told them fine so they will hold the furniture. I went. On 2/17/2017. To pick. Up my furniture. I was. Treat. Badly my furniture. Was not prepare for. Pick the guy. Refuse to wrap. My stuff. It was scratch. They. Throw it in the back I told go back there. I ask for. Something. This was a disaster. I paid over 600 dollars. Even though I brought the floor. Sample. It still was new if should have not been. Throw in the back it should have been wrap popular I was still. A paying costumer I was treat terrible I will not deal with Bob furniture. Again

Bob's Discount Furniture no replacement for broken drawers

My mother was in the hospital and had broken drawers she had called a service technician for one drawer. At the time in 2013 we had a service tech who was called to review the situation. He came in looked at the work and nothing was done. He could not repair it. We called in 2015 no one came. We called recently and with the goof proof we were told that it could be replaced. However, after waiting almost 3hours based on the technician who came late looked at it and called said nothing could be done. Each person I spoke to said they can't do any even with the goof proof coverage. I will have to pay. It was very up settting. I am so angry 😡. They never fixed it or replaced the first ones. No it's all the same and I am told it's wear and tear. I have to pay 500 for drawers that had defects. The drawers are thin and cheap. I felt like my mom was sold bad furniture. The manufacturing was bad and it was purchased with an entire set paid in full.

Bob's Discount Furniture furniture

my name is Ronildo Da Silva back in October 2016 we bought a table which we did not get delivered 2 and 1/2 months later and when we received our delivery the top of the table came damaged we requested an exchange when we the delivery came for the second time the top was damaged again we requested the 3rd exchange and when the delivery came for the 3rd time was a small tip on the corner of the table top we called customer services and they gave us 110 dollars discount which wasn't enough but at the this point we were so frustrated that we just want to get over with it. Now little over a month that we received the last delivery the table and the chairs are rooking we can't put anything on top of the table because cause marks on the table top table which we can't take off and when i called customer services to see what can be done to solve this issue what i heard from customer services is they can't do it anything since we took the discount for 110.00 this is absurd and very unprofessional the worst customer services experience in my life now we have a table with 6 chairs in our home that we can't use or returned and we paid over 100.00 for warranty when we purchased this product if you guys read this message you can reach me out on my cell [protected] I will make sure that i will tell everybody that i know to never buy anything from Bobs

Bob's Discount Furniture customer service - no record call reporting damaged/defective furniture!!

On Dec 21 2016 I received my furniture. I was told I had 3 days to inspect it. I immediately noticed damage and defects in some of the furniture. I called the same day and spoke to a young customer service rep. She told me that I could make a "reselection" and gave me the exact amount of the credit I would get. I asked her for a confirmation number and she said they don't provide those. Not to worry, all I had to do is go into the store and everything would be in the computer. I went into the Schaumburg store today January 14 and they told me that there was no record of my call in the computer and there was nothing they could do about it. I couldn't believe what I was hearing and left the store in tears. I was planning to make my reselection and also buy 3 bedroom sets. Now, I will never shop at this store again. They didn't seem interested in helping me and I felt like they were calling me a liar. I wish they would look up their phone detail records or do SOMETHING to help me.

Bob's Discount Furniture jennings power loveseat

Purchased October 2015...did not get the Goof Proof warranty...this is a fabric loveseat which has been fine. Now - 2 months past the warranty date the seam came apart on one of the cushions and this is in a seat no one usually sits in. I hesitated even buying furniture from here but some of the other stores were either worse or too expensive. Next time we will upgrade where we purchase furniture from...hopefully I can sew this myself - luckily this is in a family room where visitors don't usually go. Done with Bob's !

To bad the warranties are so expensive...but guess they are needed for all the repairs/replaces they must do on the cheap furniture.

Bob's Discount Furniture catnapper recliner

I bought this recliner and it was delivered Nov 22, 2016 My husband got a different one and they did talk us into getting the Goof Proof Plus so our total was over 1500.00 . We went down to the store to make sure they delivered me the right one cause the recliner sit different so while we was there we spoke to a salesman and told him so he told us to call this # that he gave us. A gentleman came out inspected the chair Dec 28, 2016 and told us it could be restuffed or get a new back thats what he said he would request for me I told him id rather have a new back . I also told him if i had bought this in the pit i would of expected fault with it but i got this right off the show floor. So there should be nothing wrong with it .Bobs was to call us within 24 hrs heard nothing so i call them. The women i spoke to said the inspector only put in stuffing and nothing about a new back so i really got pissed because i was lied too They will not replace the chair cause i have had it for over a month and that there was nothing wrong with the recliner itself .The inspector took pictures of the caved in back and pictures of the front where the sit sat cross way but said the new back would fix that.
I got very up set with the women i talk too First off I had shoulder surgery Nov23, 2016 ( Day Surgery) so I was in no mind to even inspect the chair I was pretty will out of it until way into Dec and thats when my husband and i went to Bobs to check it out, we have bought all our furniture there at the same store now for years but no more I dont like being lied too Bobs will not even exchange or take the chair back .When you pay over $500.00 for a recliner you expect it to be at least some where near PERFECT. Bob's Discount Furniture cancellation

i placed an order that was delivered on November 30th. There was one piece in my order that i needed to cancel as i no longer needed it, and was told it was no problem, the rest of the order delivered without an issue. since then every 5 days i get a text or call attempting to schedule a delivery. i speak with representatives that claim the item has been removed and the cycle repeats. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THE YONKERS NY BRANCH.

They leave you on hold for extreme lengths of time, transfer you to a different store, or simply hang up on you.

Bob's Discount Furniture sofa/loveseat

we bought a leather sofa/loveseat from bob's. in less than three years the leather was peeling off and bubbling. we took cushions back to the store, where we were ushered out as fast as possible. when we tried to call we were given a lengthy runaround that was obviously designed to get us to lose interest. they will say anything to get you to buy their junk! horrible, fraudulent business!

Bob's Discount Furniture delivery team

I purchase 3 pieces of furniture with 2 delivery dates 12/6 12/17. Today the delivery team showed up with the wrong color marble, at the store the clerk was able to see it was the delivery team error. Ok people make mistakes and now my new delivery date is 12/24 for all furniture. Why is a customer penalized for bobs error, lost time from work n longer delivery date Christmas Eve ! Will never shop or recommend bobs to anyone. Go to raymour n flanigan u will b happier with 3 days delivery n great customer service.

Bob's Discount Furniture goof proof plus warranty scam

If any one is buying a furniture in Bob Furniture store, the Sales representative will offer the Goof Proof Plus warranty claiming that for any kind of damage the furniture you are buying will be replaced without any question with in 5 years. Well this is big scam to get money from you. They simply send a guy to inspect and tell you that there is no manufacture defect. First of all, the Bob Furniture is mostly inferior quality and you will be paying more for this inferior quality furniture by falling for their GOOF PROOF PLUS warranty trick. Please be caution.

Bob's Discount Furniture a very unprofessional behavior of an employee at bob's customer service counter friday 11/4/16

I am a Manager from a residential facility which serves individuals with disability within three boroughs. My facility in Brooklyn and the facilities within the other boroughs, consistently purchase furniture from Bobs throughout the year. Therefore I customarily make purchases from Bobs due to the excellent quality of the furniture. On 11/4/16 my at approximately 12:15pm, my assistant and I went to Bobs furniture on 2520 Flatbush Avenue to take our company check in order to purchase some furniture items which we had secured. When the sales representative realized that we were not looking for new furniture on that, and we had already pick out our desired furniture items, they were very unpleasant and no one, absolutely no one greeted us or asked if we needed assistance. We went to the customer service desk and waited for assistance. One young lady was busy on the telephone, and the other young lady who was there completely ignored us, and did not offer any assistance. I waited for fifteen minutes at the counter then a young sales guy came up to us and asked if we needed assistance. I then responded by saying "finally someone is offering assistance, because I was standing there for a long while and no one offered". This when one young African American lady with short yellow hair became irate and yelled that she was "Doing something!" I told her that I was not talking to her. She then yelled, pointed her fingers towards my face and stated repeatedly " But I was talking to you!" I have never been so, insulted in any place of business. I am not sure what the young lady's name was, I think it was Shanice but I am not clear. While explaining my disgust regarding this situation, the young lady continue to work on her computer while snickering. I requested for the manager to be called. the Manager (Nicole) arrived and I explained the entire situation. Nicole apologized and assured me that this issue would be addressed. I sincerely hope that this issue would be addressed, because I would not like any other customer to have to experience this horrendous ordeal.

Bob's Discount Furniture sleeper sofa falling apart

About a year ago I went to Bobs Southington and purchased a new sleeper sofa with aND a chair with ottoman I am not sure what their name was but it's a 92 inch couch so I spent more than I planned.
The material is brown fabric. I livery alone and rarely have company. I am not an overweight woman at all. I began to noticING feelING the spring and now onè of the cushions has a big spot that just sits you in a dent.. This is totally unacceptable and I want my cushions replaced or a new couch. This is not an old couch and is hardly sat on. The bed part is fine and the chair and ottoman are fine. The couch cushions shold not be in this condition. If Bobs cannot resolve this product I will contact someone who will help me resolve this issue who are experienced in this. I am not sure if the phone number is under [protected] or' [protected]. Bob's Discount Furniture nehds delivery of bobs furniture

From march of 2016 till august 2016, at bobs delivery company nehds... I witnesed at hudson nh nehds that delivers to most of mass... As a employee of nehds collecting photo evidence of delivery teams drinking on the job dealing and smoking drugs atleast when they arrived at the end of the day... And a wild use of peebottles left in the delivery trucks with the new furnature... I collected 6mo of evidence total but reported this daily as it became known to upper management, paul griffen, chris swank, kelly joyce and will collon... As these were the people in charge of hudson nh nehds... When that went nowhere corporate nehds was also alerted and for how long... But the end result was nothing... No one cared about anything but moving furnature, jst the, , $$$$, hudson received new truck and, in a couple mo most of them, are covered in undocumented damages, it must be ok if nehds doesnt care but what are they the trucks hitting, hudson nh depot dosnt even keep track of who is using what truck even if the trucks were properly serviced, dot would shut down the whole fleet if they saw them, colision marks, holes in the roofs, lights broken like the whole housing, most of the teams are thugs and carry weapons... I was threatened twice by raul vargas with a weapon and he still works there i would never let him in my house delivery or not... Nehds never cared about my safety or anyone elses on the job like the girl amanda h... Who was sexually harressed at nehds hudson nh... But she was, forced out by presure from management to leave.. Kelly joyce, paul griffen, , will collon.. She wasnt as important as tbe driver that was accused, they made there choice, i left because i simply wasnt safe at my job and nehds didnt do anything about it.. People at nehds hudson nh that points out tbe truth because there told to always seem to get terminated because there too expensive and then somone else is hired for more $$... Bobs deserves better from there contracted companies and bobs customers deserve to be safer... Jordens and ashly doesnt have these,
Problems... So now i will pay a little more if it means im safe.. I, will warn everyone i know and testify at notice..

Bob's Discount Furniture apollo couch / bonded leather

We purchased this couch in April 2013 and about 2 months ago the couch began to fall apart! We called up Bobs and they refused to help us because our warranty didn't cover this type of damage. We have no pets and can't understand how this couch is falling apart after 3 years. We are very unhappy and welcome any advice.

Bob's Discount Furniture sofa repair

I purchased a reclining sofa at Bob's just over two years ago. I also purchased the 5-year Goof Proof Protection plan.

The back of the sofa broke the other week, when my son fell back onto it. But since I used the word "slammed" into it when I made my statement -- instead of "fell" into it -- they said it wasn't an accident, so would not cover it. It's a classic bait-and-switch scheme.

It is impossible to talk to the same person twice at Bob's and they won't give you last names. I have even said I would pay for the repair, but they won't help me.

There is no one out there who repairs this type of thing -- I've spent days trying. I believe it is Bob's responsibility, especially since I paid for the insurance.

any help you can provide would be most appreciated.

Bob's Discount Furniture sierra couch

So disappointed and dissatisfied with this company. Purchased a Sierra couch 26 months ago, and it was always a problem. Cushions ripped and they eventually brought us new ones. Now the frame is broken. Customer service requested photos which we provided. They lost them and then found them a month later. They declined the claim saying that it was the frame of a couch we bought in 2012. Explained bought in 2014, and they said send the photos again. Another three weeks goes by without a call. Spent 49 minutes (that I will never get back) arguing with customer service. They found the photos and "reviewed them by AMS" whoever that is. They decided that it looks like "normal wear and tear." Really, can't stand behind your own product...we even had purchased the "good proof" warranty. Will never purchase from them again, and will be filing with Consumer Affairs and any other place I can.

Bob's Discount Furniture damaged couch!

Please stay as far away as you can from this dreadful company and don't ever deal with Bob's Discount Furniture! I have purchased a leather couch from this company and the one they delivered was damaged and there was a huge tear! These guys were about to leave but I stopped them and returned the couch. About a week later they arrived with a new one and it was also defective! I refused to accept it and demanded my money back. They took away the couch and said that I need to wait for about a week and will be given a refund. No refund was ever provided and these guys ignored me since then! I'm so angry at Bob's Discount Furniture and will never order from the again! And I will continue to fight until I get a full refund!

Furniture which breaks in a year and Beware of Bobs’ (Spoof)warranty. Bob’s furniture will never honor their Goof Spoof warranty they will find a reason to deny it. One can read that 90% of all the reviews on all websites are bad experiences about this company. Low prices on their furniture compared to their competitors is their main lure tactics. But you get what you pay for. I purchased 6000 dollars’ worth of furniture and Bob’s (Warranty for 5 years) from Bobs in Farmingdale(NY). The dining table 10 piece(majestic) their top of the line dining table (the veneers) on the top started to bubble like bumps/humps in the center and corners after 12 months. They denied the claim saying it’s because we did something to it. They don’t even bother to come out and have a look at the table. They will never accept the poor quality of workmanship, cheap veneers and patchwork on their furniture. I don’t believe how BBB gives them A+ Never again with the furniture company.

Bob's Discount Furniture outback power reclining sofa

Bought the Outback Reclining Sofa. (waited 6 weeks) Looks really good with a well design. Metal framework and reclining brackets look also good. The problem is after only 3 weeks the foot rest cracked in half under the fabric. Reaching my hand in I can feel that the support on the foot rest is just a piece of fiber board or plastic and not wood. Called CS who sent a "technician" to look at it. Like other reviewers the gentleman who came didn't speak English very good and had just a small plastic case with parts. He decided it was broken and made a "temporary" fix by cutting a piece of 1 X 3 and slipping in between the fabric. Said someone would call with a "permanent" fix. No phone call so decided to fix it myself, which is 10 times better than the original material. Would not buy and furniture again from Bob's. Poorly made.
