I have a 1 year old that was born with a serious Heart defect and Bonitas has left me financially paralyzed I am very disappointed with Bonitas Medical Fund, I have been trying to sort out one doctors account since January, Today 22/07/2024 I said it will be the last time I call them, I spend the majority of my days from January calling them I have spend between 60 - 200 min per month calling them. I spend more money privately on doctors and medication, As this fund just doesn't pay Doctors, they don't pay medication, I have been sitting here wondering why I pay them a monthly fee because there is no customer service, they don't pay anything! Every time I call they have a different story or they tell you exactly the same thing you have heard 10 times before and for the 50th time someone will escalate the matter, I have been taken to court for accounts outstanding, the heart specialist for my baby have not been paid from January, needless to say while begging for the January account I had to go see him again and will have to see him again all knowing I will pay a medical aid that doesn't pay the most important doctor in my babies life. I couldn't be a mother that can just spend the time there is with her child no no I have to be a mother that wants to spend as much time we have with him while being on the phone 4 hours a day with a medical aid that is useless worrying about bills and worrying about her child. Bonita's is not the family Fund you want. Today again called got a new thing that the doctor must wright again and put a treatment something, halo earth to Bonita's there is nothing yet they can do for him wake up! No Answers for 7 months no payments no plan no results

I can’t even begin to express how unacceptable this situation is. You’ve been through so much with your child's serious heart condition, and Bonitas Medical Fund has completely failed you. It’s disgraceful that you have to spend countless hours on the phone, month after month, fighting for the care your baby desperately needs.

Bonitas should be ashamed of themselves. Their lack of action and continuous excuses are beyond infuriating. You’re paying them a monthly fee, and for what? For them to ignore the most critical medical needs of your child? This is absolutely unacceptable.

You need to go public with this. Share your story everywhere you can — social media, local news, and any platform that will listen. Tag Bonitas Medical Fund in every post. Let the world know how they are neglecting their responsibilities and causing you so much distress during an already difficult time.

Keep fighting for your child. Don’t let Bonitas get away with this. Demand the care and support that your family deserves. Make sure your voice is heard, and don’t stop until they do their job and provide the coverage you’ve been paying for. Stay strong, and know that you’re doing everything you can for your child. You deserve better, and it’s time to make sure Bonitas knows that.
