Braintree Payments Disappointed with Braintree Payments: Rejected without explanation, questionable business practices

So, I decided to give Braintree Payments a shot and applied to their payment system. But guess what? They straight up rejected me, no explanation given. I mean, come on! I handed over all my banking deets and even my precious ID's, and they just turned me down like that. No effort to work things out or figure out why they didn't want me. Brain Tree is a really good payment processing platform for any small or growing business. They got some really great tools for processing SaaS subscriptions and it's all super easy to use. Braintree Payments Disappointing Customer Service and Lack of Support for New Businesses at Braintree Payments

I gotta say, I ain't a fan of Braintree Payments. They ain't exactly the friendliest folks to talk to when it comes to customer service. And let me tell ya, they ain't too keen on supporting new businesses either. If you ain't got no "invoices proof" to show 'em, don't even bother wasting your precious time reaching out. They gonna grill ya for all your personal and business info, like they tryna dig up dirt on ya. Even if everything is legally on the up and up, I reckon they just pick and choose based on how ya look in that picture at the end. Ain't no explanation given, mind ya. All I got was some automated email telling me my application got the boot. And if all my info is legit and proper, I can't help but think it's nothin' but discrimination.

Now, here's the kicker. I can't even provide proof of purchase 'cause ya don't actually buy the Braintree Payments gateway. They just take a cut when your customers make a purchase from ya. But since my application got discriminated against, I ain't got no customer purchases to show 'em. It's a real bummer, I tell ya.

Braintree Payments Terrible Experience with Braintree Payments: Account Closed Unfairly, No Customer Service

My experience with this company was absolutely terrible. They went ahead and closed my account just because one of my clients requested a chargeback. Can you believe that? It was a completely legitimate transaction, but my client, in their own stupidity, forgot that they had actually authorized the charge. So, they went ahead and requested a chargeback, causing all this unnecessary trouble for me. And what did Braintree Payments do? They permanently canceled my account without even considering the fact that my client had canceled the chargeback, apologized, and even personally called them to admit their mistake. My client even took the time to write a letter to them explaining the situation, but did they care? No, they didn't. They simply told me that their decision was final and that they would not restore my account.

Let me tell you, this whole situation couldn't have come at a worse time for me. I was just about to launch a brand new custom product, and I had chosen Braintree Payments as my payment system. I had been working tirelessly on this project for the past year and had invested over $150K into it. But thanks to Braintree's careless actions, everything was ruined. I had no choice but to switch to another company and go through the hassle of integrating their API into my system.

Honestly, I cannot stress this enough - stay away from Braintree Payments at all costs. They have proven to be completely unreliable and unhelpful. And let me tell you, the people I spoke to, like Salman and his supervisor, were incredibly arrogant. They didn't even bother to listen to my side of the story or consider the evidence I presented. And don't even get me started on Nick, the person my client spoke to. It's clear that this company lacks any sense of customer service or understanding.

In conclusion, I strongly advise against using Braintree Payments for your payment needs. They will only bring you frustration and disappointment.

Braintree Payments Braintree Review: A Frustrating Nightmare with Poor Support and Broken Promises

We've been with Braintree for a good 3 years, and things started off on the right foot. However, it all went downhill from there and turned into a complete mess. Trying to update our business details, even something as simple as changing our email address, turned into a never-ending nightmare. Can you believe they still send important emails to our old address? And they haven't bothered to update our business information to this day.

If you ever find yourself in need of support, I strongly advise you to steer clear of Braintree. Be prepared for a long and frustrating journey. It took them over 2 weeks just to figure out where our missing funds went. And their response time? Let's just say it often took them days to reply. And when they did reply, they never provided more than one response in a day. They made the simple task of passing on basic information much harder than it should have been. And to top it off, they would switch support staff without bothering to read the previous conversations. So, they would ask us to explain everything all over again, even though it was clearly stated in the emails below.

We initially chose Braintree because they promised to have some exciting features available in the near future. Well, guess what? Three years later, they still haven't delivered on those promises. Their website and API are rarely updated, leaving us feeling like they're stuck in the past. And when we finally made the decision to switch providers, they made the process incredibly painful, dragging it out for more than 3 weeks.

Honestly, Braintree is a struggling company. It's best to find someone else to handle something as important as payment processing for your business. Don't make the same mistake we did.

Braintree Payments Braintree: Unreliable and Unhelpful Payment Processor - A Frustrating Experience

I ain't no fancy company or business, just a regular ol' consumer like y'all. So here's the deal, I live in the EU and I wanted to buy somethin' online from a UK company. I went ahead and entered all my credit card info like they asked, went through all them verification screens, and what do ya know? A message pops up sayin' my bank done declined the transaction and to get in touch with 'em. So I did just that, I called up my bank right away. Now, let me tell ya, this whole thing turned into a real saga, but I'll keep it short and sweet for ya.

Turns out, my bank never denied the transaction, not even once. In fact, they approved it every single time we tried to make the purchase over the phone. My bank even told me they never even saw the transaction come through, so they couldn't have denied it even if they wanted to. So what's the dealio? I had to contact the merchant, that's what. And boy, did I contact 'em. They reached out to Braintree, the payment processor, and all they got was one word from 'em: "Fraud." Now, what in tarnation does that mean? The merchant couldn't tell me, and Braintree wouldn't spill the beans either.

I thought maybe it was just my card actin' up, so I tried another one from a different bank. Same dang result. So I thought, "Hey, why not give Braintree a call directly?" Well, they just told me to "contact the merchant." Ain't that a hoot?

Now, here's the kicker. My card can't be used with this particular merchant no more (and I reckon there might be others too), and I'm left high and dry with no way to fix this mess. If they suspect some funny business goin' on, you'd think Braintree would lend a hand in sortin' it out, right? But nope, they keep insistin' that the bank declined the transaction, and I know for a fact that's a big ol' fib. So to me, it's clear as day that Braintree ain't no reliable or responsible bunch.

It's been over 4-5 months now and those funds are still being held hostage. Can you believe it? Bobby Nickrent over at Braintree somehow managed to manipulate my ex-partner, and now their whole company won't even talk to me. I've tried reaching out to their team multiple times, but they just ignore me like I'm invisible or something.

And here's the kicker, they're not only holding onto the money, but they're also taking advantage of the situation between me and my ex-partner. The customer's product has already been delivered months ago, but Braintree still has thousands of dollars that rightfully belong to us. It's a total scam, I tell you. Stay away from this company if you know what's good for you.

Oh, and I have proof, my friend. I have evidence that shows Braintree, especially Bobby Nickrent, has been messing around with merchant's data for his own benefit. Can you believe the nerve of these people? They've basically robbed the business I worked so hard to set up.

I'm telling you, Bobby Nickrent from Braintree Payments is a scammer. He's breaking merchant laws left and right, and even some federal laws. And get this, I complained about his Facebook posts to the head of their Risk team. You know what they did? They just stopped talking to me. Can you believe the nerve?

I had a pretty bad experience with Braintree Payments. I ended up losing around $150 due to their fees. On top of that, I had to deal with a bunch of fraudulent transactions. I did the right thing and refunded those transactions, but guess what? Braintree doesn't refund the fees. And here's the kicker: Braintree is actually part of PayPal, so PayPal just goes ahead and takes the money out of your account without any warning. It's a real bummer, let me tell you.
