Watch was serviced in May 2023 - and as usual when I sent it back to Breitling - it needed more than just a service; always something else needed as well. Apparently the been 'subject to a shock'. Cost to repair & service was over £900.
Six weeks later, on return from holiday, I could not reset the time to UK as the crown did not turn. Took it back to Beaverbrooks ( the agent) who took the watch away in the shop and and brought it back with the crown detached. Was advised it looked like there was dirt in the watch? (unbelievable) After sending the watch to Breitling for repair, the report said - once again - the watch had been subject to a shock with damaged case and crown. Cost to repair...with token discount from Breitling, over £1000. I had the watch for 6 weeks. I do not have a manual job. I did not wear the watch even to the beach or pool during my holiday,
They clearly did not perform the original work properly, so I did not authorise the repair. If this is the quality and standard of service offered. I could be back here in sic weeks with another request for £1000+
Desired outcome: Watch repaired to working standard.
