I cannot recommend Bronze Star Moving and Storage enough. I was moving from a large house into a much smaller apartment, and they helped me figure out how to downsize efficiently. They provided packing materials and even helped me organize what to donate, which saved me so much time. The movers were courteous and took special care of my fragile items like glassware and art pieces.

On October 22, Thomas Ackerman quoted my move from CA to WA and said a $2,000 deposit would hold our date. He ASSURED me that the cancellation policy was amended on his end by adding a note to my file allowing for a more flexible cancelation window - within 72 hours of my move date. On Nov 2, (28 days from my move date), I reached out to cancel mentioning the note that Thomas made on my account to which he would not acknowledge and the billing dept won’t accept. This man LIED and just gets to keep $2,000 for nothing!

Do not use this company they will take your money and then not fulfill their end of the deal. They originally quoted us $6500 and then two days before the move they said it was going to be an additional $11,000. That’s why they’re called bronze star not Gold star or platinum just noticed their name before you book them. They are only a broker not the actual moving company. They are very good communicators until the time of the move comes. Beware!

I hired bronze star because the gave me a good quote and said the were moving experts. They gave me a good rate for everything then a week later asked for more pictures of my things and said I would need more space on the truck and charged me more money. Then the movers came and started shoving things in boxes leaving extra room to take up more space on the truck. Then charge me $4000 more. My move went from 4k to 8k. If these people are experts the should have known how much room a one bedroom apartment should take up on the truck. They left extra room in the boxes so they could use more boxes and take up more space on the truck.

I was mislead and lied to about space allocation and cost reimbursement. I contacted Mia, Ross, Thomas and billing representative via email, text, calls and all communication they have hindered or shutdown. I asked for cancelation of services from all affiliated with Bronze Star Moving and Storage with documentation as well as reimbursement. None was granted. Before trusting this company with your move search them on Tik Tok, Google, Yelp and the fmcsa to get videos and real customer reviews. I will be moving forward in means of settling my dispute with them by taking legal action.

I hired Bronze Star Moving and Storage Inc. for my move and signed a contract for $2,500 with a $500 deposit. But, turns out they hired other movers from *** to do my move. The movers showed up and demanded more money to move my things. I had to borrow money to pay an additional $3,843 on top of the $2,500. I feel like I was taken advantage of and put into another horrible position after losing my home in hurricane ***. I had to be out by 11/1 and all my belongings were in the carport to be moved. I had no other option but to pay. I feel like this was a big scam to get more money and I didn't know that Bronze Star Moving and Storage Inc. is only a broker and hires other movers. The signed contract should have been honored. It's not fair to take advantage of people who are already suffering.
