Mattress quality-biglots 2018
Although, our mattress looks good, the quality and integrity didn't stand up. After 1 year, it was not feeling great. We have settled to putting up with it since August 2018 when it was first purchased. Mattresses are not cheap and the set costs us close to $900. I have had many sleepless nights and am facing the fact I need to replace the mattress. Could you find it in your heart to provide any credit for us? It was purchased at Big Lots in Weaverville, NC 28787 with the help of Progressive Leasing #[protected]. We turn the mattress a good bit. It is not a flippable version. It sinks in the middle really badly. Both my husband and I are 200 pounds. The seller said this wouldn't be an issue.
Desired outcome: Refund or Credit Half of Purchase Price for BigLots or online Store
Broyhill towels are not colorfast!
So Broyhill's motto is "When only perfection will do?" Not in this case. I purchased one Broyhill fluffy bath towel from Big Lots about a month ago. Recently I decided to buy a matching towel, the same size & color. I was shocked when I noticed that in just three washings that the original towel is not only faded, but splotchy in color. It apparently is not colorfast. I emailed Big Lots and they sent me an email for a $10 discount through PayPal. The catch is that to get the $10 discount, I would have to spend $40 and I was required to redeem it within one week! So Big Lots is trying to make money off of refunds? Not only tacky, but insulting. I will not be redeeming this discount. I have been saving to purchase two sofas and two easy chairs by Broyhill at Big Lots. I am now rethinking that purchase if this is how Big Lots treats their customers. And it reflects badly on Broyhill's quality control as they are the major supplier for Big Lots. So they lost a $1, 200 sale over the non-refund of a $6.00 towel.
Worst customer service
An order for a bedroom set was placed on June 13th and the receipt said an expected delivery date of July 15th. However, after repeated efforts to contact the store via telephone, I was told today that the order wouldnt be delivered until the end of October. The representative also mentioned that when they write 4 weeks on the receipt it normally takes 8-12 weeks. I tried talking to representatives at the Corporate office who also had the same attitude that I could either wait or cancel the order. What a ridiculous company
