I just bought a whip from Burnsville Motors on 1/13/22
I just bought a whip from Burnsville Motors on 1/13/22. The day after I copped it, the check engine light came on. I took it to a mechanic and they said it might just need an oil change or it could be worse. I got an oil change and the light went away. But then, like two weeks later, my ride straight up died on me. Turns out the alternator was janky. I replaced it, but then less than a week later, the same code from when I first bought the car came back. I took it to another mechanic and they said my timing chains were stretched, which is apparently caused by not changing the oil enough. I didn't do that, so it's not my fault. The mechanic said it would cost $3,000 to fix. I can't afford that and I don't think I should have to pay for it since the dealership sold me a busted car. I called the dealership on 3/25 and talked to JT, the financing dude. He didn't believe me when I said the engine light came on right after I bought it. He said the best they could do was have me send them the mechanic's quote and see what their own mechanic could do it for. I wasn't happy with that, but I wanted to see what they would say. I waited until Tuesday and still hadn't heard from them, so I hit them up again. They didn't respond for a couple days, so I went in person on Thursday. They rushed me out and said they were backed up and would get back to me on Monday. But it's Thursday now and I still haven't heard from them. I've tried three times to get this fixed and they don't seem to care.
