Steve Schmitt Kia They tried to overcharge me for unnecessary car repairs!

They tried to overcharge me for car repairs, but I didn't need any! My husband, an Army mechanic, confirmed I only needed front pads, not the costly rotors, calipers, hose, brake fluid, and fuel service they listed. They previously charged me for a catalytic converter that was fine. My car's been problematic since, and now they've billed me again. They're overcharging me, and my car's been leaking oil after a service visit.

Steve Schmitt Kia I've been taking my 2017 Kia Optima LX model to their service department for the last 3-4 years dealing with an oil consumption problem in Kia

I've been taking my 2017 Kia Optima LX model to their service department for the last 3-4 years dealing with an oil consumption problem in Kia cars. Manager *** was assisting me at first, but once I filed a claim thru their corporate office, the service staffing was not friendly to me or concerned about my issue. I had to start another oil consumption test by bringing my car in to their service department every 1000 miles to check the oil levels. This is my 2nd time starting this test and due to COVID and working from home, I don't drive as much so it takes a long time to get to a thousand miles. I am very frustrated with this dealership and the service technicians and their attitudes is ridiculous. What happened to treating the customer like you care or even acknowledging the customer? On top of all that drama my car was attempted to be stolen on August 6th. Currently my car has been there 30 days with no idea of when parts for my Kia car will be coming in and I am left with paying for rental car to get around in. Currently I just called to speak to management Justin to be exact in the service department and he's unavailable per service technician Ryan. This is the treatment that I'm talking about that happens when you continually trying to get your car worked on through the dealership and they really don't want to work with you. I am so disgusted with the Steve Schmidt's Kia dealership along with the Kia cars that are now being stolen all over the world. I will never purchase a Kia product again or suggest it because the corporate office or owners of Kia products do not support their products.

Steve Schmitt Kia I bought a car from Steve Schmitt Kia in December

I bought a car from Steve Schmitt Kia in December. But I still haven't got the title yet. And without it, I can't register my car. Every time I call them, they tell me a different story about the title.

They sold me a truck knew that had been in a car accident.When I ask them for a car fax the refuse an I took it to a license dealership an auto mechanic they found out like of the codes wear damage tire rode cracked on the driver side other things. I have all my paper work from all the place I to my truck

Steve Schmitt Kia Took my Kia to this dealership to get fixed

Took my Kia to this dealership to get fixed. They had it for like 2 and a half months which is way too long. My insurance said it shoulda been done in 5 days. And now they're making me pay the whole bill and won't give me any money back. This is crazy, someone needs to do something about it.

I bought a car from Steve Schmitt Kia and got a ceramic wrap for it. But when I went to another shop, they said the wrap wasn't done. I showed them the receipt, but Steve Schmitt Kia wouldn't give me my money back.

Steve Schmitt Kia I got a letter bout an airbag recall on my 2020 Kia Soul

I got a letter bout an airbag recall on my 2020 Kia Soul. My check engine light came on too cuz the car was slowing down. I went in on April 28 and paid for the fixin's. They had it til May 5. Now I'm havin airbag issues again. This time the airbag light is on. The car is slowin down again too. I called 'em and they're givin me the run around to even look at the issue.

Steve Schmitt Kia I got a 2013 Kia Forte and there were recalls on it

I got a 2013 Kia Forte and there were recalls on it. I went to Steve Schmitt Kia for the recalls. Kia says if there's a recall on the vehicle, I can take it back and get a new one without any recalls. This dealership is trying to fix it and not offering a new vehicle. They told me they can't put me into a new vehicle and they can just fix the brakes that were recalled. The brakes that were recalled caused other issues with my vehicle.

Steve Schmitt Kia I had my Kia Rio fixed at Steve Schmitt Kia after it got messed up on July 14th

I had my Kia Rio fixed at Steve Schmitt Kia after it got messed up on July 14th. Before the incident, the electrical parts were all good - the back window defogger, front window defrosting, and heater were all working fine. They fixed the ignition, but now the electrical parts aren't working anymore. They told me it's not their responsibility to fix it since it's not part of the electrical system. Now I can't defrost my windows and it's a bummer.

Steve Schmitt Kia I been takin' my 2013 Sorento to this shop for fixin' since October

I been takin' my 2013 Sorento to this shop for fixin' since October . The fixin' I paid 'em to do in November don't last and I had to bring my vehicle back to 'em. They been havin' my vehicle since June 1. They never give me no updates or offer me a rental vehicle durin' this long wait. They finally told me they ordered a part on July 3, and this fixin' gonna cost me over $600.00. They never contacted me or let me know 'bout these extra fees. I already paid 'em to fix this same problem and shouldn't have to keep payin' 'em to get it right.

I had my car fixed at Steve Schmitt Kia for 5 days, but it ended up taking 18 days. When I got my car back, the cover in the trunk was missing. I talked to a customer rep named *** and he said they didn't need to go in the trunk and now I have to buy another cover from them. He said only one person worked on the car, but when I asked how many people had access to the car, he didn't say anything. We think someone took the cover while it was at Kia Soul because we didn't take it out. The cover is important because it holds a wheelchair and now we can't fit the wheelchair in the trunk without it. *** can't say for sure that no one else was in the car during those 18 days, but we know the cover was there when we left the car.

Steve Schmitt Kia I got a 2011 Hyundai Sonata from Steve Schmitt Kia in 2020

I got a 2011 Hyundai Sonata from Steve Schmitt Kia in 2020. I heard a noise in it, so I took it in to them. The guy said it was a regular time and they didn't look at it. I took it back to them because of electrical issues and other issues. I took it back to them several times. My motor went out. Hyundai had a recall on the 953 and 174 code. I took my car in and Hyundai said they had a recall and because it wasn't fixed, they denied my claim. I never got a notification. Steve Schmitt never sent my ownership info to Hyundai which is why the recall notification was not generated. The issues with my vehicle would have been fixed with the recall repair. ***, the Sales Manager, told me they would pay the car off and get me into another vehicle. He told me I could check their other lots and let them know what vehicle I want. Now I can't get in contact with him. I have left several messages and he hasn't called me back.

I got a car for my daughter from Steve Schmitt Kia in June . Then, in December , the finance guy (James) called me saying I owe them $322 because they paid the first car payment. I didn't sign anything or talk about this EVER! James said they'd forget about it, but in January, I started getting bills for the same amount. I went to the dealership and called them, but no one could show me any papers that I agreed to this. The sales guy and others said they never heard of this. James finally talked to me and said they'd forget about it again. The letters came from a collection agency, but James said it wouldn't affect my credit. I didn't get any more letters, but on Friday, April 16, collections called me demanding payment!

Steve Schmitt Kia I got my car from Steve Schmitt Kia in November

I got my car from Steve Schmitt Kia in November . But after a few weeks, the collision sensors stopped working. I took my car back to the dealership, and they said they needed to diagnose it. I dropped off my car on December 1st, and they said they had to order the parts. They told me to bring my car back on December 6th, and they would give me a rental car. But when I got there, they didn't have a rental car for me. They said they would fix my car in a couple of days, but they didn't call me to update me. I called them on December 10th, and they said they were waiting for the parts. I went to the dealership on January 10th, and the manager said they were waiting for a tool to fix my car. He said they would call me to update me, but they didn't. It's now January 19th, and I still haven't heard from them. I just want my car back. I've only driven it for a month, and I'm still paying for it. Please help me get my car back.
