I bought a car from Buy Metro Pre-Owned in June . When I went to sign the papers, the finance guy told me that the brakes and rotors were all new. I believed him and signed the papers. But now, after driving less than 10,000 km because of lockdown, my brake lights have come on and I need new brakes and rotors. Brakes and rotors should last way longer than that! So I asked for a copy of the service record from when I bought the car to see if they really were replaced. Turns out they weren't! I asked them to do it like they said they did, and I even gave them a whole week to respond. But I haven't heard anything back from them yet. I told them I'll go to the ComplaintsBoard.com if they don't fix it.

I got a car from Buy Metro Pre-Owned in May. After two weeks, it needed some small fixes, but they didn't charge me. Then, a few weeks later, it needed more repairs that cost me around $400-$500. Recently, I had to take it to my garage for more repairs, which cost me $300. Then, a couple of weeks ago, I had to take it back to the garage for more repairs, which cost me $1200. And just a few days ago, the clutch fell out, and it's going to cost me $1400. I reached out to the dealer to see if they could help me out, but they said they couldn't do anything. They did offer to let me trade it in for another car, but they wouldn't give me the full value of the car. So, basically, they just want to make more money off me. I trusted that the car was in good condition when I bought it, but I've had to spend thousands of dollars on repairs in just six months. I've never had to spend this much money on repairs for any car before, and I usually keep my cars for five years or more. I think the people who run this dealership are dishonest. I want to be compensated for at least the clutch repair. I don't have receipts for the repairs done at the dealership, but I can get them if needed.

I purchased a 2016 sedan from Buy Metro Pre-Owned in August . By December, I needed a diagnostic test in Sydney revealing a transmission replacement was necessary, costing $7000 with only $5000 covered by warranty. The diagnostic test cost me $200. I then went to Colburns Transmission, approved by Peoples Choice Warranty, where the transmission replacement was $3700, fully covered by warranty, except for $200 for fluids. After the new year, the car was unused until March when my son returned from Alberta. It soon began to lag, so I returned it to Colburns. It's been a week without the car. Contacting Buy Metro Pre-Owned about a rental, Steve, the manager, said I'd be reimbursed $40 daily for a rental, up to $200, after presenting a receipt. Unable to afford this while on sick leave, Steve was unhelpful. I'm burdened with monthly payments plus insurance for a car that's been mostly unusable since purchase. They sold me a defective vehicle and have provided no support post-sale. With $18000 still owed, I'm frustrated by the lack of service and accountability.

I bought a car from Buy Metro Pre-Owned on May 14th and paid cash. I looked at other dealerships but couldn't find a car that would fit my big family. But after only 12 weeks, my car stopped working on the highway. I bought a warranty from Metro Pre-Owned for $1500 to cover any issues under the Powertrain warranty. I had the car towed there and told them what happened. They said the starter was broken and it would be covered. But then I waited two days and didn't hear anything. When I went back, they told me that the engine had stopped working because there was no oil in it. They sold me the car like that! They said they would fix everything, but I had to wait for the owner to come back from vacation. When he did, he told me to buy another car and he would knock off $3000 if I financed it. This is not okay! I only had the car for three months and they said it was fully inspected. There's no way it was. The owner, ***, won't do anything to help me. He wants me to spend more money and won't order any parts until I pay cash upfront. I even found a cheaper motor for $400, but they won't use it. The business manager, ***, can't do anything either. They just want to make money off me. I'm so frustrated!
