We had our upstairs flooring done back in Sept 2020 and are not happy with terrible work done, after multiple phone calls and emails nothing has been done and it is now April 2021.

First they send an installer who told us that the transition we ask was not something he can do (that was a big [censored]en lie) we then called him day after to come and re-do because its not what we asked for (silence for months) called Home Depo customer service same treatment. Now after month of calls and emails we like this taken care of and get our money back.

Next our tile was done in the entryway of our house and same thing work was done [censored], send different guy to measure the entryway and send different guy to install it, our door and tile are TWO different levels and we
now have damage door due to incompetent installation work, we are still waiting on insurance throw Home Depo to take care of that matter. All this installing issues within the same year and month 2020.

lastly they have the worst customer service we have ever dealt with, its as if we are getting passed around from one person to the next each time, and when we call they take weeks and months to get anything done (which is why we are now in 2021 and our issue was back in 2020) We have been back and forth with a claims guy name Chris Joubert and of course emails, phone, and voice messages still noting we are asking for is done. SURPRISE! SURPRISE!

Our initial favorable opinion of High Standards Installations is fading very quickly. The original installer for a pair of garage doors was very efficient at first. Unfortunately the dent in the panel was beyond the installers control and he was not advised by HOME DEPOT, COURTENAY, BC.. (windows and doors - KATHIE). that weather stripping was to be installed, which resulted in a second trip out by the company. The crew that arrived on Friday ( September 18th 2020) only brought sufficient material to install the weather stripping for one door. They said that they would return the following day (Saturday) to complete the job. Saturday came and went with no sign of High Standards. We didn't really expect anyone to show as it was the weekend. But today (Monday, September 21st. ) we thought there might be an effort or at the very least a call from the company to set up an appointment. The doors were ordered and paid in full on May 29, 2020. We are almost at the four month interval, fall is upon us with the heating season coming and we're still waiting to the job to be completed. The gap opening around the garage doors is quite substantial, allowing cool air as well as rain to pass through.

We do hope that this completion will be given the highest priority. As this is not the first time a project arranged by HOME DEPOT has gone awry.

Both my spouse and I have serious doubts we will be considering Home Depot for future projects. Regardless, of how convenient they are to us via location.
