Complaint: Long list of incompetent people unwilling to help, Eagan, MN
Aiden, a young man, working at, Home Depot, Eagan, 12:10 PM, Mon., Dec. 16, 2024.
- Aiden said: “too busy to help, not being paid today”, He referred me to the cashiers for help, walked away and started helping someone else. Now at the cash registers, first person was deaf and could not help, second person, hispanic woman, could not speak English well enough to understand, and she sent me to the service center. At the service center, the first person said he did not work in the dept. Now, the 5th Home Depot employee, looked up my item location and sent me to an isle number, and I could not find the items he said were there. I gave up and left the store in disgust. This Home Depot, in Eagan, MN seems to be a rinky-dink, second-rate operation. The manager of this store should be retrained or replaced. I’ve always been able to get great help at Menards, Harbor Freight and Fleet Farm. This Home Depot store seems to be incompetent.
Claimed loss: Inconvenience, time and fuel wasted visiting the store.
Desired outcome: Get better management in the store that can hire and train people that want to help, and can help
