Disgusting experience at Canadian Tire-855 Langford Prkwy Centre

Today, 21st June 2022, I took my vehicle to Canadian Tire, 855 Langford Prkwy Centre to change the car battery and to diagnose an engine problem. Soon after it was completed at a cost of $832.47, I figured out my air conditioning is not working suddenly. I brought the issue to the manager's attention immediately and he said he's gonna charge another $151 to check the problem. I said, this happened just now and my air conditioning was working perfectly before coming there. If something has happened, it should definitely be during their repairing work. So why I should pay again? He was very rude and treated me in a very unprofessional manner. He said they didn't do anything relating to air conditioning and if it is not working it's not their problem.

My question is, then how on earth my air conditioning is not working after their repairing work? Should I keep paying for their mistakes?

On top of that, the way the manager reacted to my request is very unprofessional. He clearly said me to take the car away, if I'm not ready to make the payment and it's my problem. I left with no option and took the car home along with the problem.

I'm also a customer service professional and this service manager’s attitude, tone, and caring for a customer request are disgusting, very unprofessional, and pathetic. I will never ever visit this location and never recommend Canadian tire to anybody.

I humbly request an explanation for this. This is my invoice No [protected] (attached). This is my complaint No [protected]. How can I believe these people anymore?

I am shocked at this store. I am disgusted. I am a disabled person with mask exemption. I was stopped at the door by a very grubby looking security guard. I told him I was exempt. He said no exemptions for their store. I told him that was illegal and against my rights. He argued that it wasn't and he told me to leave. I persisted and he said not this again and left to go get someone. He came back and when I asked his name he refused to answer me. He turned his back on me. It was juvenile behavior at best. The general manager came and said much the same and when I said it was illegal he said no it isn't. He told me to leave. When I said I would make a human rights complaint he laughed and said you people never do it. He told me to leave. I have encountered this ignorance of the law a few times, but this was the most horrible experience. Avoid this store in Langford, BC
