i purchased a gift card ( mastercard) from the above location. I open the card by myself no one else touched it. I paid the amount from the best buys gift card and difference from my debt card. When at night i tried to use it online with groupon i couldn't so i decided to register the card online per instructions. I wasn't successful to register it online so i decided to call at the number on the back, i called and came to know that my card wasn't activated from the seller (best buy). I returned to the store next day told them abt the issue and also made a call in front of the customer service guy he is witness of that card wasnt activated by them . They also told me that the packing of the card is different and inside there is a card from the different brand. I was surprised. I told them to check the cameras and i have receipt . The called the assistant manager name(nic) he was very rude, loud and not apologetic . I told him the story and demanded for a different card and canceling the current card if that is the case. He totally denied and returned everything to me indirectly saying that i changed the gift card inside and showed up with a different card. He opened a card from the rack for me proving that other cards are fine no issue with them . Y just my card is different. He was rude non cooperative, not willing to help. End of the story he told me that they will do something in the back that they need to do in order to investigate. He asked my for my info i denied to give him my name and ph # cuz i trusted best buy with my money and it was completely a shock for me. Anyways i have attached pics of the card and receipt that i bought from the best buy. I asked nic if he need my debt card or best buys gift card to find out what happened he said no. Im hoping that you will get this resolved asap as i need to use the card to pay for something.
