Canadian Tire

this particular store in Ajax is run by low life's! I was returning an item I had purchased a few days earlier receipt in hand (purchased from the Pickering store) I had been shopping at both stores for the past 15 years and often returned stuff to either store no problem!. When I went to return this one item she tells me Oh you opened the package too bad so sad only store credit? whaaa?. then she goes on about being a franchise and privately owned blah blah blah, 2 weeks ago I went to this same store to get a price match, the manager (woman) gave me the same bs we dont price match we are a franchise privately owned... I walked across the plaza to home depot and they price matched I bought 12 of those items. When I chose to buy my online order I had a choice I could buy from Amazon (same price) and get it delivered OR I could give my money to a Canadian business (CTC) but after this experience!. NEVER and I mean NEVER will I EVER buy anything from this frigging store again. They are dead to me! AND if this is the NEW CTC policy at ALL stores no refunds if a package is opened (how will you know if an item works or not without opening?) then I will NEVER shop at another CTC again in my life! scum bags! I will go to Princess Auto, Home Depot, Amazon, WalMArt or any other reputable TRSUTWORTHY places I know they have my back if I need to return an item no questions asked!
