I've had cablevision... From the very beginning... I've had trouble with them...
1) when I sign up... The rep told me a certain price, then when I got my bill it was a higher price... This went on for over a year and still going on... I've tried to resolve it with them.. Even contacting bbb... No results... Recently, I order optium triple play... And I did not know it was part of cablevision... Again... I having a big billing problem with them... And it's only been 4 weeks...
The next day after getting it install... I call to find out why they are charging me $131... When I call they toold me my new bill was now! $168 dollars. I'm going to cancel my order and take them to small claims court... Maybe, just maybe the judge can decide what's right... They quoted triple paly would be $99 with tax $103... I was prorated because I had it installed on the 9th of jan.. Their billing cycle starts on the 15th..
After the tech left he handed me a bill for $131 and when I call to see why it was so much... On the phone auto service they said the bill was $168 dollars... Now they are saying my bill is $229.. And I just got service jan 9, 2008.

5g plan internet speed no where near that-have called customer service they cancelled 2 appointments, lied to me and i'm filing a lawsuit if they dont come out here and fix the internet.

I had discount with Optimum for 1 year. Today it expired without any notice, after I called it was reinstated, but not for this month. Does ANYBODY remember changes will happen with billing 1 year later? Very cheap trick Optimum.

The internet is constantly going in and out and unable to stream tv shows and movies. This is also always happens constantly and I pay for this service for this not to happen. I have Wi-Fi through only half the house and I work From home.
That's what they are doing to me! This optimum guy came harassed me to get internet. Swore up and down it would be free due to the pandemic. I told him I. Roke I get public assistance he swore it would be free. The tv says that the internet $30 a month I'm getting charges $60 plus a $10 late fee every month because I don't get my public assistance til the beginning of the month and they know this. Optimum like loan sharks shaking people who don't have money for money. They have sales representatives walking around stealing people's information. I want all my money back they owe me. It's suppose to be $30 a month they owe me $40 a month since I've. Been paying over the price since the day their representative lied to me. Where is the petition I'll sign I want to sue optimum too. Optimum needs to be sued by all of us they owe all of use money. The government should take notice on the fact optimum is straight robbing people. Optimum is straight acting like loan sharks every month increasing people's bills and if we don't pay we get more fees for being late or for them disconnecting it.
Optimum is hiring people to wire people's houses to steal our information theirs workers are hired subcontractors from drugs dealers to get into our internet and they steal our I formation I'm just realizing this drug dealers are using the third parties that work for the major tv co.paies to wires peopels houses and don't realize that they are stealing people's personal information when these crack heads that are paid to work for the tv companies paid off by drug dealers they wiring peopels houses to spy on us steal our I formation they at hra the insurance companies they sending our information to the different countries to them make identies for their friends and family social security needs to re do themselves some how and yea NYC has a huge problem right now the phone co panties are messed up too got people in every inch scamming people greed and gluttony are deadly sins the post office compromised too we are being attacked like a virus from the inside and the government is well aware but they [censored]ed cause of mega rich people. I got hired on to a work from home job that I started in January 2023, was fired in April 2023. I discovered unexplained charges on an account, had 3 managers probe the account, spent 3 freakin' hours trying to find the source of the charges on the account. I just wrote the Attourney General a fraud complaint submission in West Virginia because I was working for a 3rd party call center named Startek that had just barely started providing service to Optimum/Altice USA as a client. I was removed from the phones I think the day after I handled that specific account and told to sit and wait and learn stuff in our database and was paid for a full week of not working pretty much while the 'looked for a reason to fire me' < per my manager and was fired. It was the client Optimum/Altice USA that had my employer remove me from the phones. I saw several instances of customers not being allowed to escalate their calls when there are complex billing matters taking place and refusal to troubleshoot and investigate these types of claims. I placed my complaint with the Attourney General of West Virginia because technically my employer was Startek. Optimum/Altice USA is outsourcing to offshore call centers as well. I feel like something I been seeing recently with myi 9 years of call center work is that the companies that are doing this offshore hiring seem to be doing it so they can evade escalating calls and because these people tend to be job scared and will do whatever and don't know about US call center policies and aren't really trying to resolve customer complaints and it's probably because they lose money when they investigate complaints about incorrect billing BECAUSE THE BILLING IS INCORRECT. I think customers give up and lose funds but when this is happening at a mass scale that is thousands of dollars being embezzled and people need to start holding these call centers accountable that are doing this stuff. My understanding is that according to United States call center law, call centers are legally required to allow customers to escalate their calls. A lot of these call centers are also starting to play this game of 'my supervisor is not available I can have them call you back' and that is a flat out lie. They're trying to avoid investigating these claims. When I was with Optimum/Altice I had a lady very upset on the phone telling me that they are billing her hundreds of dollars for a wifi router that she had turned in, in store that was not accounted for properly. She called numerous times and Optimium/Altice refused to help her. I attempted to help by forcing the call to our escalations team which is part of why I got fired. I don't know if she got the help she needed but I doubt it. The customer that I had 3 managers probing his account, they had me tell him to call back. We were unable to identify where the charges came from and I couldn't force this call to escalate because they had shut off my permissions on the phones to escalate calls because I was getting a lot of upset customers with messed up things going on with their accounts that I did not have the means to resolve and was escalating the calls to help these customers. This should have been a red flag to Optimum/Altice that something is going on with how accounts are being handled but instead they fired me over it and it really seemed with some of the messaging I was getting internally that they know this is going on and don't want it dealt with. That's fraud, I think it's deliberate and someone inside is doing shady things and trying to hide it. Please, if you are running into issues getting your billing complaints handled, file a report at least.

I see Optimum gave you their new promotion (without your Authorization) because your original agreement expired, Optimum pulled this excessive billing SCAM on me and now it's affecting thousands of tri-state consumers.
It's time for the FCC FTC NYSDOCA (I'd include the FBI but that's LOL) to prosecute OPTIMUM for DECEPTION, BAIT AND SWITCH, EXCESSIVE BILLING and make Optimum the new Bud Light.

All services have been down or very spotty from 6/29/23. Optimum keeps sending texts and emails stating the outage has been resolved when it's not. This is a horrible company, a bunch of inept liars.
Halloween 2022 I cancelled EVERYTHING but internet and they were charging me for a phone so I was complaining for months finally someone helped n I found out I was also paying for basic cable they only credited me 114 dollars for a year when internet is supposed to be 59.99(with their Bs fees about 80) I've been paying 150 a month they proceed to tell me it's $123 for just Internet and I'm basically screwed for almost 1k dollars they knew what they were doing by not telling me exactly what I was paying for. And they're the only service provider in my area.
