I will be transitioning from this bank as soon as possible. I walked in this branch to get a document notarized. I have a seat and wait to be serviced. I'm waiting and waiting watching the manager in the office with her door open doing absolutely nothing! One of the tellers let her know that I'm waiting, she doesn't even look my way to say anything. A customer walks in and demands assistant. Although I've been patiently waiting , this manager takes time to talk with him and begins to assist his needs, the teller then tells the manager for the second time that I was there first, she brushes it off like I'm nothing. I don't appreciate the disrespect, I've been banking with this bank way back when they were Security Bank, then the transition to State Bank, to Cadence now to Bancorp. As a loyal customer I will not stand to be treated unfairly and I will make sure that I remove my business accounts as well as personal accounts to a more established bank. My money is not good enough to bank here. This disrespectful incident is all on camera. This will not be the end of this.

I have a checking account with Cadence Bank and went in person to open a credit card account and was approved. After nearly three weeks, I finally received the card (even though it was on my account and credit score almost immediately). I went to activate it and the instructions say if you have not set up a telephone access code to follow the prompts, however it never prompted me. I only have one four digit code I use which was incorrect, so either they set a random pin without telling me, or their system is unreliable. I'm leaning towards the latter because after that when I entered my social security code it kept telling me it was wrong even though I know it's not. I'm actually considering just closing my checking, savings, and credit account with Cadence Bank over this issue. Do not use this bank if you can help it, just save yourself the hassle and go to like Regions or something, almost anything has to be better than this flawed system. On the same topic, I also tried their website but I log into the app with my fingerprint but their site doesn't allow that so I had to try to recover my username and password but that system also didn't work and gave me errors even though the information was correct, which is also weird because you have to choose the account type but I have three account types -- is my login info somehow different for each one? Either way it's incredibly frustrating. Replace your flawed system, Cadence.
I called 6 times trying to get a supervisor to help me with a possible error on their part. I was told that someone would call me back. No one ever did. I was given a different number and name to call. No one answered the line, and after 15-20 rings, the line went to busy. finally, I was placed on hold for over 15 minutes before I finally gave up. On the 7th call, I was not very nice to the lady that answered the phone. I told her in no uncertain terms what I thought of her bank, and demanded to speak to a supervisor. I was placed on hold again. This time, only a few minutes went by before a very nice lady came on the phone. She has promised to help me. I hope she does.
Worst bank ever. Cadence bank is the reason our house purchase fell through. It took WEEKs to get an appraisal. Our family is healthcare workers and needed a home during the pandemic. Cadence is the reason we couldn't. Just due to them not providing an appraisal. The appraiser didn't show up multiple times and the bank did nothing to help it. DO NOT USE THIS BANK FOR BUYING A HOME.
These people are a SCAM and own a fraudulent credit card where they "pre-approve" you, then take away your credit limit, then entirely shut your card down randomly and for no reason, despite making payments on time OVER THE LIMIT EVEN, while you're expected to make payments of hundreds of dollars a month and still pay late fees and high interest rates as if you still actually had the credit card! I will be contacting attorneys for a class action lawsuit as I have since found out this is a regular practice of theirs. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS "BANK"! They are a JOKE and a SCAM!

Really terrible bank
Really terrible bank. They don't allow you to make additional payments to you loan unless you email them. Once you email them it takes a bunch of time for them to get around to it. They don't automatically create statements. So you have to emai them to ask to them send you your balance and previous payments. And they keep changing my interest rate on my loan WITHOUT INFORMING ME. Really terrible.

We have sent in multiple death certificates to change the name and multiple requests for it to be placed on autopay for the last year. Still can't even get it on autopay and they took out 3 mortgage payments in the span of 3 weeks causing our account to significantly over draw. If I could not leave any stars, I wouldn't.

This bank has awful customer service and charges overdraft fees for ANYTHING. They charged me three overdraft fees, for money that was in the account. The overdraft came when they charged those fees. They will do nothing to account for their system mistakes and have zero accountability. As a military family and all the moves that occur, they are not military friendly and will do absolutely nothing to ensure that they help when needed. Do NOT use this bank.

Horrible customer service. Since recent merger i am unable to access my account on line. Twice now not able to accomadate me. Most recently they demanded to know my most recent transaction before helping me. I make numerous transactions and without online access i dont know it. This after answering numerous questions correctly. Wasting my time! I will be visiting my local branch to close this account. Lady did not apologize and when i threatened to close my account she said go ahead. Wow. They really dont care.

I have a business
I have a business. For 30 years they accepted checks for deposit even though the name was different than our business. This is an insurance company and agents are paid with their name on a check from different companies. We then pay them from the company account. Because of a low balance on our account now, they will not accept these checks and charge $20 each month if we don't have a balance of $5000 each month. I figured they are trying to squeeze us out so we will close the account. This is not right. We have to go out of town to a different Cadence location to make a deposit, which tells you it is not a company policy. So sad because they have made a lot from our years of using this bank. Be aware companies don't use this bank because if you get to the point of a low balance, you will be charged. So sad.

I suspect they are trying to pressure us into closing the account. This is not fair. We have to travel to a different Cadence location to make deposits, which indicates that it is not a company-wide policy. It's disappointing because they have profited from our years of using this bank. Be cautious, companies should consider this before using this bank because if your balance drops, you will be charged. It's a regrettable situation.
