I bought a 900 dollar parka a little over a year ago. The zipper broke. I filed a warranty online that stated someone from canada goose would be in touch with me within 1 business day. 3 months later, no one got in touch and I received another email stating my claim had been canceled. This is the worst warranty of any coat I have ever bought. Your process is horrible. I will not be buying or recommending any more of your products.

Hi I have bought a Canada goose men's jacket a year ago from Saks . The zipper keeps getting stuck every time I wear it and I've hardly used it one season . It's pretty annoying so I prefer to wear a simple north face instead considering I paid such a huge amount . I'm currently in India and don't live in usa . I can have it sent upto New York for an exchange . How can you help me exchange for a new better quality jacket .

Winter jacket
Firstly, congratulations on ringing the bell yesterday at the NYSE on your first listing anniversary. Unfortunately, your product quality does not match that high standard.
I purchased three Canada Goose Jackets a few winters ago in the belief that they were the best and you got what you paid for. I have not been impressed with the quality at all, not for the price I paid. My jacket leaks goose feathers like a sieve, not sure if its a faulty lining or they are all like that. I can never wear dark colored sweaters anymore in winter, as I look like a plucked chicken when I remove my jacket.
My daughters jacket is fraying at the cuff ends and seams and looks discolored in just a few years

All year of 2017 I was waiting for that magical moment at christmas to open my canada goose jacket! After I opened it I fell more in love with the coat, the style, the fit, the beautiful fur, the warmth! It was all so perfect. From the moment I made the smooth online transaction to the moment I was able to start wearing the parka, was worth every penny spent.
The coat was only a couple days worn, to experience the amazing warmth and slim fit with one minor zipper defect, it kept getting stuck when unzipping (I would have to fidget with it for a minute to unhook at the bottom). I started to get worried that the zipper was going to bust off, so I decided to call canada goose customer service to help me with my options. I stated everything above how I love the coat, it's just defective so that I need the zipper fixed, the employee (id unavailable) said he would walk me through the claim. Shortly after I finished filling out the online information and i'm off the phone, I receive the email of the prepaid shipping label. I noticed it said it must be shipped by the same day due date, so now feeling like a pest I called back to explain that I don't have a printer. With that being said, my local library was closed due to reconstruction; so the cg employee that I was talking to on the phone said canada post should be able to print it and then here comes the roller coaster ride...
I go back to canada post and the lady who serviced me confirmed she cannot print it. Shockingly, I call back cg and I tell them she can't print it but the email I received said I had to send the coat out that exact day the employee said, "well why did you wait so long to return it, you bought it in december?" (sean id#2692234) I was amazed to be talked to like that, this guy didn't even ask for any of my information prior. I decided to educate the employee that an $800 jacket with lifetime warranty means I can send the coat whenever I have an issue with it! He then changes his tune, "oh, you're going through warranty - you have 10 days to return it". I send the coat, I keep tracking it online, remaining calm, middle of winter.
January 18th, 2018 I get an email saying my coat will be refunded wait 4-5 business days to see it on my credit card.. What? So I call that same magic number, an employee (joe) tells me that in their system it was a miscommunication and was sent as a return not as a warranty and I just have to reorder the item.. Which is still out of stock! Now brace yourself, the cg employee suddenly hung up on me? I call back and tell my whole story again to a new employee and ask to talk to a manager. After waiting 30 minutes, I was finally able to talk to (nioki id#2423734) I told the lady, that the last employee hung up on me and she said "oh it was an accident, the phone slipped and he hung up by accident" I asked for the id# for jia and nioki said it was unavailable. Two unusual excuses from the manager along with, you dont call the customer back? Excluding with the fact that i've never been hung up! One more time I am being inconvenienced to call canada goose back, I do so, and when I do the supervisor tells me that all she can do is say sorry & recommend me to repurchase the out of stock coat, or add it to my "wish list".
My experience ended with brutal customer service, and I am still being inconvenienced my cg parka. Unfortunately as much as my heart was so in love with the coat, it breaks my heart to have such a bad taste of the cg's reputation. I didn't expect such miscommunication and mislead by a million dollar company, whose coats are filled with prestige down but customer service is filled with uneducated & unhelpful representatives. I honestly don't know if I can support cg anymore, i'm heart broken.
I understand i'm not a celeb like drake, but cg treated me like as I was truly only one of your thousands of customers, I realize the company will survive without my order, but one defective zipper shouldn't make you lose an $800 order. So I am sorry I will have to express my heartbreak to all my top clients in the gta.

I have had a similar experience with them. Their customer service is disgusting and I plan to take legal action. I am so surprised they have customers still with the horrible and unhelpful reputation. They are ripoffs and uncaring. I have never been this dissatisfied with a company and I will never buy from them again and continue to spread the word
eta - I tried to publish this to the CG website (after they invited me to review the jacket they never sent). They took it down. Shocking.
NEVER EVEN RECEIVED!
I bought this as a Christmas gift, and as I work long hours I wasn't too concerned with delivery as the CG website clearly states "direct signature required." Long story short, Fedex forged my signature and I never received the jacket. After contacting CG's CS I finally heard back after waiting close to a month and was told "Too bad. Since there is a scrawl on the Fedex signature box we won't reimburse you." It clearly was not my signature. It wasn't a signature at all. So now I'm out over $600 and have to file a police report. UNBELIEVABLE. It's not like CG would have to pay the reimbursement cost - that is on Fedex. The simply don't care at all about their customers. BUYER BEWARE WITH CG. Before you buy anything from them, PLEASE research their CS. I sincerely wish I had. Absolutely abysmal and without a doubt the worst I have ever dealt with. The best advice I can give is take your money and spend it at a less morally reprehensible company than CG. And the whole "direct signature required" thing? Yeah, doesn't exist.

Ordered one jacket on Canada Goose website Dec 2017, until now Feb 6 I have got neither my jacket nor refund. Now customer service can't solve this problem for me. Called customer service so many times, they said refund my money to me on Jan26, after 7 business days I still haven't get my money. Customer service and their supvisor totally lied to me. Now they let me to wait forever.. Also the package lost before delivered to me, why Canada goose keep my money and let me take the responsibility for that, Canada Goose take advantage of customer, such a big company don't wanna take their responsibility, but let cunstomer pay for them. I can't get my almost $1000 back now!
Kensington parka
Purchased a Canada Goose Kensington from a reputable authorized retailer in Dec 2015. It's been worn maybe 12 times for causal wear, to watch sporting events and running errands...no extreme sports or conditions. Every seam along the arms, chest, sides and underarms are fraying (looks white from fabric breakdown but should be black)from friction after these few times of causal wear. I've tried to contact Canada Goose, stating the receipt is on hand and the rest of the parka is in new condition and they haven't replied. Conveniently for them, their "make a claim" link on their website is down...making this next to impossible. A request has been made to receive a replacement...i've Experienced better quality with Columbia, Northface and lesser brands. My parka was $775 and it didn't last 2 full seasons!
My parka looks exactly the same after 2 seasons. Sent in and they did not warranty. Said it was normal wear and tear. That is definitely not the case. Should wear better than that for price I paid.

Canada goose parka
Canada Goose has some of the worst support I've ever seen in my entire life. I had a small tear in a jacket, and they offer a lifetime warranty. If I'd known spending this much money on a jacket meant I'd have to replace it two years later, I would have gone with Moose Knuckle, which I have ended up doing. Their warranty department is much better at answering questions, providing service, and not just apologizing all the time. Canada goose literally has the worst support ever.
I had a small tear in my jacket, and Canada Goose made me go to a cleaner to get it cleaned for $75, then pay $25 to pay for a tracked shipping solution, so instead I dropped it off at Yorkdale where I was told they'd ship it off and take care of everything for me. They did indeed ship it off, nothing else was taken care of. I was seriously disappointed when the jacket was shipped back in exactly the same condition I got it. I was hoping, if they couldn't fix it, they'd just replace it, but nope, they just kept saying sorry there's nothing they could do. I pushed, and they sent me a prepaid label to take a look again, but today I got an email with an apology a second time. STAY AWAY from this company.
Everyone becomes a million dollar company when they start making their products in China, they're laughing at us in their greed. I want a replacement coat as well!

Their products may be amazing, they are certainly very expensive. Sadly their customer service is truly appalling. Here's my recent experience. My wife ordered a jacket that, on arrival, was defective. I called and then emailed them a photo. Did they call back with options as they promised? Hell no. All I got was an email telling me to send it back and wait days for a refund. I called back, spoke with several staff whose grasp of English and their foreign accent made it difficult to understand. Their hands were tied. In compensation I was promised a Canada Goose hat for my wife. A week later it had not arrived. The first person I spoke with when I called today told me very clearly that sending the hat was dependent on them receiving back the faulty garment. This was not made clear to me at the time so I insisted on speaking to the supervisor who had promised the hat. He then told that sending the hat was NOT dependent on getting the jacket back. He had ordered the hat that day and had no idea why it had not arrived and had no way of finding out why it had not been sent. What a fiasco. I then insisted on speaking to a manager, but there was none available for 2 hours (this was at 12 pm, so may be they take 2 hour lunch breaks). I asked to get the manager to call me today. Will it happen? Somehow, based on my experience so far, I am not holding my breath. Advice. if you want a Canada Goose jacket, do not buy it from Canada Goose.

I have never recd this product, DHL made a mistake on delivery apparently it was lost and signed for, I have wrote several emails to both you and DHL who are both saying either company have been in touch, I have made endless phone calls and the last one DHL are telling me that a claim has never been made, we are now in the 7th March I am 800.00 down and a further 400.00 for a replacement ski coat that I had to purchase for my son to go to Austria as I didn't receive your one!.
I have never ever been made to feel as you as a company and DHL have made me feel for something I have no control over and may I add am the victim in all of this and especially between two reputable companies, please can you look into this matter as a matter of urgency as I am going to contact WATCHDOG .

Canada goose ordering/payment procedure
I never ever ever bother with these comments boards... but after a third cancelation with no reason as to why - no support- no solutions - except that there was most likely an issue with my card and I should call them...ummmm you just said it was my billing address, not the card, that wasn't accurate so do you think it's possible that your rep the second time I tried to order over the phone perhaps entered something incorrectly? Cause my first attempt was through PayPal balance - not even a affiliated card or checking account. ? Well yes that's possible but I can't tell what it was that caused the card to be flagged and we can't fix it. So sorry there's nothing I can do

You want to win in life? Call a superior Call the 'mystery credit approval company' that is apparently approving a purchase from an institution that's already done that leg work for you and me, and tell them their system is flawed and that you deserve a raise for simply being assertive, astute and a great customer service rep.

Totally overpriced for the quality. I sent the jacket back to the warrantee department because it wasn't anywhere near the warmth index they described.
The customer service agent was the most carefree, lazy employee I have ever dealt with. When I asked to speak to a supervisor or manager, he completely ignored my request and sent me an email quoting text from his website. He finished off his message with the telling me that I have should try out their products out in the cold before purchasing them... I think here in the USA we call that theft.
I have forwarded our messages back and forth to my university board in Washington D.C. I noticed that many young students pimp canada goose around campus. I'll make sure they know that they are not getting their money's worth and that their warrantee promise is as good as water down the drain.
Canada goose sucks when you look at the quality and warmth vs money you pay. Companies like EMS sell better jackets for 1/10th of the price no question.
I had similar issues with this company. The worst customer support and warranty department I have ever had to deal with.
For everyone reading these reviews, do not buy Canada Goose products. They don’t worth the money you pay, and there is too much hassle to deal with their warranty.
My last claim was closed without even fixing the submitted product issues.
Mens parka - zipper
I purchased the Men's Parka last year around Christmas time (Dec '15), but this Christmas (Dec '16), the zipper broke where the ends connect because it's cased with the same plastic on shoe laces. I called Canada Goose and their only solution is for me to send the jacket into their Distribution Center to be inspected and returned within 4-6 weeks. The problem here is that I spent $1, 000 on the jacket, I live in the North East, and spend 4-6 days/month in Eastern Canada. I need a reliable winter jacket, I invested in what I thought was the best jacket on the market, and the jacket failed within 1-year. While the Company is happy to fix the jacket, their solution will leave me without a winter garment for the rest of the winter. So my options are a broken winter jacket or no winter jacket. A company like LL Bean or Patagonia would be embarrassed by their jacket failing that quickly and would go out of their way to find a solution to fix the problem without leaving me in the cold. Canada Goose? Not so much. I've spent 3 weeks now trying to find a elegant solution that doesn't make me freeze (worse than I already am with my un-zippable jacket) and they don't seem to care. Good luck to you if the jacket breaks when you need it most...

Presently I am also dealing with them on a Women's Jacket BROKEN ZIPPER, in the Canadian Toronto head office. I spent $35.00 to ship it to them. They responded, telling me there was a tear on the left and right front panels. I asked them to take a photo, as I did not see any tears in my jacket. THEY REFUSED. I am presently waiting for a MANAGER to call me. Their customer service is appalling; the WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE I have ever experienced. I will never purchase another product from them. There are better companies out there. They are overrated.

I had the Exact same experience as you had. All customer service would say is we have no idea what the problem is, However you can go ahead and place another order. I have never seen a company with such poor customer service. To make a long story short, I now have 3 hold on three different credit cards and no jacket. I am a stage 4 cancer patient and i really wanted my daughter to have this jacket. I would never place an order with this company ever again

Scam
websites - www.goosejacket-canada.com are scam. It looks like canadian web sites, prices are stated in CAD but after you transfer the money, the web site is changed. I contacted my bank imediately after the transfer - the payment was sent in yuan somewhere to china. You will never receive neither goods nor money. Be careful.

Never in my life have I been so dissatisfied with the service that I have received. From the very first moment that I decided to give you my business, I have run into problem after problem, with little or no assistance from anyone. This has been one of the biggest mistakes I have ever made.
It took me over 5 hours to place an order on your website, which wouldn't process the order properly. I did not get a response from ANYONE (by phone or email) to assit me with this until 4 hours had passed. Then after placing the order, I was overcharged. I sent emails through the proper channels, while your staff admitted that it was THEIR mistake, the only option they gave me was to "wait 20-30 days" for the refund. It this day and age that is absolutely laughable and despicable! You would think that this would be the end of my problems with this purchase, but oh you would be quite wrong. I was told by the serviceman at Canadagoose8.net that I would receive my order within 5-8 days... It has now been 11 since I was told that. I am, understandably, livid. When give someone a deadline and they make plans around that you should honor it. Needless to say, you have lost all of my future business and I will make sure to write an honest but scathing review of your business practices in as many locations as I can.

Canada goose just SUCKS!
If it were not for the coat which gives me full length protection, I would never buy it! It wastes me 2 DAYs to place 6 orders and then it has all been cancelled! Plus the time I I failed to pay its 12times in total. So technically speaking it took me more than 2 weeks and 12 times order, I finally got it! The worst buying experience in my life with CANADA GOOSE!
