My credit card balance in the amount of $636.96 was due 9/17/23. I paid $700.00 on 9/18/23 which was 1 day late. I pay this card in full, on time, every month. My next payment was due 10/17/23, in the amount of $1371.02 including late fees and interest in the amount of $56.41 from the previous month. This payment (due date 10/17/23) was made on 10/10/23. I spoke with a customer service rep to make sure this was the balance in full & paid this amount in full using funds from my bank and with my reward balance. I did not plan to use this card very much in the future. Today, October 31, 2023, I called to make sure they had the correct mailing address and had the address changed, so I would receive statements. I had 2 accounts that are paid through this card that total $49.99 this was all that had been charged and the payment wasn't even due until November 17, 2023. They said it would be $61.80 to pay this in full, but they would continue to charge interest even if I paid it off. They also said interest would continue to accrue. I had $49.00 reversed and I still owe them 99 cents. That is all I intend to pay.
Desired outcome: I do not want to pay interest on zero dollars. I have a balance of $0.99 and that is all I should have to pay.
