Capitol One Customer Service is the Worst
It is near impossible to get anyone who understands English. They know English words but can't comprehend the English language. I had a restricted card for late payments due to a car wreck.
hospitalization. They lifted restrictions on another card but not one. I think the original agent didn't enter all the information. They said they couldn't lift it but it wasn't canceled. They don't understand restricted verses canceled. Four different agents just kept pushing me to open a new account but you can't open a new account with a restricted card. It was the worst circle with everyone. I canceled the account. To which they said, no more charges would go through. It was restricted so they wouldn't go through anyway. I am canceling my other 2 cards and the car loan I was just approved for from them. I would never give them business again.
Recommendation: Stay away from Capitol One.
