Alltru Federal Credit Union took my car after they caused the payment to be behind
Alltru Federal Credit Union took my car after they caused the payment to be behind. See attached:
This bank tries to convince people, especially young adults, to open savings accounts
This bank tries to convince people, especially young adults, to open savings accounts. However, they sneakily charge overdraft fees, hoping that you won't notice unless you're good at math. They don't provide detailed explanations when advertising and convincing you to open an account at AllTru Credit Union in Washington.
This complaint is about the branch at ***
This complaint is about the branch at ***. They didn't report accurately on my report. There was an identity theft and they took (2) $500 from my account. They were supposed to refund me for the theft of my account. I have theft protection and they only gave me half back.

I paid off my 2010 Impala in either October or September
I paid off my 2010 Impala in either October or September. My credit score with Equifax drops 52 points in September saying I'm two months behind on payment. I'm struggling to get my score up and have things removed. I have put in two different disputes with proof that I have already paid this car off and still they refuse to remove this mistake and give me back my 52 points.
Hey! So, I've been receiving unexpected deposits in my checking account for the past two months
Hey! So, I've been receiving unexpected deposits in my checking account for the past two months. The information provided is unclear and unconvincing. They label it as a payment, yet I ceased working for the company in March . It's peculiar because they have access to my account, which is concerning. Attempts to contact customer service for clarity result in disconnections, and no investigation is pursued. Despite my refusal, they persist in depositing $5.00 into my account as a usage incentive. I'm seeking assistance to resolve this.
I got a call from Alltru Credit Union in St Charles, Missouri
I got a call from Alltru Credit Union in St Charles, Missouri. They told me they hadn't received a payment. I told them I had sent it through the US mail and had a tracking number. When I informed them about this, they said they didn't know where the check was. Then, a tow truck came to my house to take the car. But when the tow truck driver saw that I had made the payment, he left. However, Alltru Credit still charged me a full car payment because the tow truck came to my home. I didn't call the tow truck, I made my payment. Alltru Credit didn't do their job properly in finding the payment. It wasn't my fault, as I had a tracking number from the official US postal service. What they did was wrong, and I believe everyone should be aware of their wrongdoing because they keep charging me late fees due to their mistake.
Purchased car in July
Purchased car in July . Dealer made me take loan from 1st Financial Credit (now Alltru Credit Union). Alltru asked for proof of insurance (POI) for car which I had from when I bought car in July. I had insurance agent send them POI one time each in July, September, November, December, January, and February. First 3 times, insurance agent sent through fax using fax number on their website. They said they never got it. POI. In December, agent sent it directly to customer service rep. through email. Alltru said they didn't get it. I have proof that email and POI was sent. In January, I sent directly to customer service rep. Alltru says they need approval from ESA. In February, Alltru says they can't accept because my name and address not on POI. My car insurance is through my mom and dad. My car insurance agent says she's never seen these demands in her career from a credit union.
I opend this account in the summer of 2019
I opend this account in the summer of 2019. Since then I've had more problems than I can count & have been given more troubles than assistance. For starters when you try to contact them through their support line email. You will rarely get a reply within 48 hours & there was a time when I went over 2 weeks (14 days) without a reply despite several emails & phone calls that lead to voicemails. Even then I was only called when they had a reason to call me & then did I mention to them I've been trying to contact them this whole time. A supervisor did contact me about this & Asked me to forward her proof of the emails which I kindly did. However I never heard back about what happened if anything because similar incidents happen literally every time I email them. Not for the full 2 weeks again but usually 2-5 days on average. Another important piece of information to point out. Your info is not at all safe with them. Their customer support email address once accidentally emailed me a picture of another customers check & in the text it had a second account # including their name & phone #. So In this one ema I was given 2 different people routing & account #s as well as their full names, phone # & one address as well as a copy of their check that wasn't VOID. When I tried to email them about it they didn't reply. When I mentioned it over the phone they said "they can't speak about it". Plus with their customer support email it clearly states at the bottom that "this is email is not secured so please do not provide any sensitive information." Yet the employees not only email sensitive info. If u email them a question about your account. They will reply asking u to provide them with sensitive info in order for them to look into your account to help u with the issue. Additionally when I first opened my business account I was told they were just getting into business accounts so they were kind of using me as a test. So they encouraged me to ask questions etc. well at one point I tried to make a mobile deposit on a Thursday but it didn't work. I emailed them & by Friday still hadnt hear back & it still wasn't working. I finally emailed them saying I had an auto withdrawal coming out of my Account Monday & if the deposit won't work then freeze my account because I don't want it to go negative... of course they didn't get the emails & let it all go thru & later told me their business accounts only allow deposits under $1,000! A business account! Their withdrawals are maximum of $500 also. Again, FOR BUSINESS ACCOUNTS. They refused to waive the fees due to their failure to reply to the emails or allow a check for just over $1,000 to get cashed. Better yet, as I said earlier about me being a "test account". Just a few days later they happen to increase the business account deposit amount to $2,500. But still wouldn't take responsibility for the fees. Another time I was using their ATM & it ate my debit card. It may be hard to understand but when u only have 1 debit card it can make life difficult. Well they kept saying it should be mailed to me in a few days. Literally an entire month later I got my card. After going up there several times because the emails were simply useless. I also got several fees from that as well & they waived a couple but not all of them. Certainly not all. They also don't care if something makes your account go negative even if you deposit the cash or transfer the money from another account within minutes of an unexpected charge going Thru. It doesn't matter. They're charging a fee & they refuse to waive them. After they waive a couple fees for u they won't waive any more EVER & they'll throw it in your face if u ask despite only asking when it was an obvious system error. There was even a time when I had several fees due to an internal error & they wrote in the notes "internal error" as the reason they refunded the fees. Later another employee stated she noticed how fees were waived because of an internal error. Yet when I mentioned that to a supervisor she claimed that she saw no where of an internal error ever causing any fees. Either someone deleted it or a supervisor isn't able to see what an employee wrote. Since I've had the account around 8 months I've been charged over $1,000 in fees. Literally. This is no exaggeration. Just this past wknd during this covid-19 crisis I had my ability to make mobile deposits turned off. At a time when I'm supposed to stay at home they made it so I'm unable to make mobile deposits. I'm also currently out of work at the same time. I sent several emails last week & as u can imagine I got no where. I warned them that I had auto withdrawals coming out Monday & if I couldn't cash a check then it'll go negative (sound familiar). They didn't care. It's obvious they are encouraged to let accounts go negative in order to collect the fees. Their practice is illegal. They'll hold checks longer than necessary to make sure charges aren't able to clear & then be able to charge more fees. I've got maybe a dozen more examples of the insanity that they pull at this credit union but I'll save it for a response. If they even do reply. My tip for anybody considering opening an account here. DO NOT OPEN AN ACCOUNT HERE. YOUR BANKING INFO IS NOT SAFE AND THE CUSTOMER SERVICE IS NOT THERE TO HELP U AND INSTEAD WILL IGNORE ANY ATTEMPTS TO MAKE CONTACT.
