Thankyou so much for raising my credit card interest rate, after being a loyal customer for years, because I was short on a couple payments that I made not intentional, capital raises my interest rate. It is nice how on the backs of good customers capital tries to recoup loses they may have acquired from there delinquent dead beet customers that they had approved. Capital raises my rate up, I could of only paid part of my depth to capital at one time through a sort of depth reduction plan but did not. I have learned now I should of [censored]ed capital over like many people do cause they have no problem doing it to customers that keep them afloat. I will pay out my total balance owing to capital this week and if capital likes I can send my card back to capital so they can wipe there [censored] with it. Have a good day larry balon
Venture card charges; two charges in the amount of 1376.00 for hotel reservations
Two hotels reservations were cancelled more than a week before the cancellation period ended at the Chalet Motel in Manchester Center Vermont. I was subsequently charged for this and then contacted Capital One. I filled out the requisite paper work explaining what had happened and included documents supporting my position, In addition, a Capital One representative in Tampa Florida (Sheena) also spoke to to a desk person at the motel in Manchester center VT who verified that the reservation had been cancelled. well in advance and that they had not billed me for the rooms. The eventual charges were for 3 nights for two rooms despite providing information which clearly supported my claim of having cancelled the reservations over a week before the stay would have begun. Credit card payments
I've been with capital one for a little over a year and have been making all my payments on time with my debit card. I just went to go make my payments and find out they removed debit card payments. This is the only way I can pay as I am not giving my back account info thats just not going to happen and to have to walk my 100° to go looking for a place to pay is too much when you have a condition. Not sure how I can pay my balance now and I am terrified my credit is about to nose dive from non payment. Capital One needs to be truly innovative as they claim to be and bring that back.
Desired outcome: To bring back debit card payments. It's 2023 not 1980.

I purchased a car item from Auto Flix on May 7, 2023, for $99.95. They sent the package via a third-party delivery. The wrong package was delivered to my home. On May 17, 2023, I messaged the company to ask about my package since my box had never reached its final destination. They said it had been received and to contact the distributor, Cirro. I attempted to contact them but failed to reach them. I received a package at home with the wrong address on the box. After going back and forth with Auto Flix, I was not getting anywhere with them, so I contacted Capital One Customer Support about my issue for them to help me fix it. I disputed the transaction on June 15, 2023, and they returned the credit to my account. On July 31, 2023, I received a letter from Capital One through their App stating they were charging me again; I immediately reached out to them On August 2, 2023, and told them to give me the link for me to send all the emails, photos, and videos proof that I had not received my product. They gave me the credit back in the account. On August 25, 2023, they sent me another letter and charged me back the account; I Called back and went through the process again. This time, I stayed with the customer service rep on the line while I sent the evidence, and after I did, he told me that they were too late. I submitted the proof as I was told on August 2, and they refused to credit my account back. I am being charged due to their lack of effort to help me solve this problem. They messed up, and I lost $99.95 plus interest as the customer.
Desired outcome: I would like a refund.
Credit card
I have a credit card with a small limit that I got because I wanted to improve my credit score. I don't like credit cards and I have no debt except a Jeep that I bought last year for my son. I don't have a mortgage payment or other car payments, nothing. I have never been late on my car payment and I thought that I had never been late on my credit card. I have a lot going on in my personal life. I relocated a couple of years ago to move in with my elderly parents. My dad had Alzheimer's and he recently passed away. I am taking care of my 84 year old mother. There has been so much to do and it has been so stressful. I barely have a moment to myself. I am OCD about paying my bills on time though. Apparently, Capital One doesn't process all payments on the due date. If it is after a certain time, it will post on the next day. Who does that? No one I do business with. So I had two of these and they were in the last 60 days, so recently. The customer rep said that they would take the most recent one off, which I appreciated. I then asked because of my circumstances if they would consider taking the other off. I was transferred to a supervisor, William, who basically said that the guidelines said no and that I could pay the account off and close it. Wow. I said that you would really lose a customer over $25. Then I asked to speak to someone else. He said there is no one else. I asked if he spoke for the entire corporation...if he has the last say in all things. He said yes. Seriously? I have worked for a number of Fortune 500 companies and have done business with AT&T, Xfinity, etc. There is always a complaint department or a resolution department. William told me the only other thing that I could do is speak to HR. I am an HR professional. I do not deal with customers. I deal with employees. Who is this guy? So I hang up and I call back and speak to a customer rep in the auto financing dept. Totally different experience...and they do have a resolution department. How can an organization operate so differently from one department to the next? I hang up and go online. Within ten seconds I see this website. So there is another avenue to file a complaint, one which I was not told about. I see that they only respond to 17% of the complaints, so they will probably never see it. This whole experience tells me that the credit card side of Capital One does not care about their customers. William said that he had to treat all customers the same or it wouldn't be fair. Not fair is that my dad just died prematurely. I am sorry if I missed the cut off time ON THE DUE DATE. No compassion...no understanding...I paid the entire balance a minute ago. I am not a happy person right now. This is not a customer friendly company, because they do not have customer friendly policies.

Walmart capital one card
Hi my issue is that I applied and got the Walmart capital one card with a $1,000.00 credit limit and I just was done with a lot of credit problems from past I resolved it and started fresh. Long story short they must of been upset when I used up all my credit but then I paid it all back in full. I was trying to build my credit I thought it would have been a good thing. No they got suspicious of me because I paid them back in full. I bet if I didn’t do that I’d still have a credit card. Everyone I’ve told me story too agree that this isn’t right and it seems like some crooked stuff. Now it looks terrible on my credit report. Igor it back in September or October of 2022 they closed it in February i believe. I sent in my ID proof of address and I think one other thing I forget. I did what I was told and sent in proof and then I believe they didn’t get it in time or something along those ..

Credit Card
Capital One locked my card and refused to unlock it unless I sent them a copy of my ID card. Although I could verify my identity in numerous ways, they refused to accept anything less than my ID card due to the fact that their system would not allow them to send a code to my phone number. I found this strange as the online 2-factor verification for my account had no issues with the phone number. What I really find amazing is that they canceled my account, at my request, without verifying my identity, but they would not unlock my account so I could use it. How does that make any sense?
Capital One really needs to look at their customer identification process. There should be no reason that my personal identifying information that I can provide over the phone is not enough, especially with the identification process required to even be issued a card.
Desired outcome: I just want Capital One to know why I will never use any of their products again.
Customer service
I have three Capital One accounts (credit cards). I recently paid the balance on one credit card and requested a card for my Mother, adding her as a verified additional card holder. After this request, Capital One blocked the card. When I called their customer service line1-[protected], it's obviously an off shore call center employing foreign individuals whose comprehension and knowledge of English is extremely limited. The agent requested I send them a copy of my drivers license and SS card to verify my identity. After hesitation, the agent sent me a url to send the photos. I did this THREE times, each time the agent, in broken English said he could not read the photos, which I strongly suggested I had no problem reading the same. Today, I called once again, this time bypassing the off shore agents and requested an agent in the US. The US agent told me they had no record of me sending Capital One my documents. This is OUTRIGHT FRAUDULENT and has me afraid that someone, somewhere in the world has all the data to steal my identity. The US agent requested I send him the same, which I did. I was told they would need my Mother to send them the same SS card and drivers license. ( My Mother is 76 years old and has not had a hard copy of her SS card in years.). So, my Capital One card remains BLOCKED, with a limit of $2000 remaining in limbo. I paid the balance in order to have a credit card for paying all of my utility and grocery bills. I can do neither. They also told me they COULD NOT remove my Mother from the account, which is ludicrous. I do not know where to turn and calling them has left me distraught and seeking legal action against them for requesting personal identifiable information, and denying they received such. Given wrong pay off amount
I called and asked what amount I could send in to pay off my credit card and they gave me an amount. It was around $3,300.00. I specifically asked if that would be all and was told it would be. My daughter misunderstood and sent in payment for $84.10 that we were billed after that phone call for interest. Today I called and was told we did owe that $84.10. I just think they should stick to what they told us. They can listen to the phone call if needed to see that is what they told us.

Worst Product
I have two credit cards with capital One and ive been trying to upgrade to a better card like the Venture or Venture X for the past six years.
Never received an upgrade and keep in mind I have more than excellent relationship with them. I will be closing the accounts in a few months once paid off.
The agents sounds robotic and say the same thing over and over for the past seven years. Repulsing is the minimun I can describe.
Don;t apply for these cards, you will regret it.

Capital one refund dispute for receiving wrong item
I ordered an item from Aliexpress on Order placed July 4, 2023.
The item I received July 13, 2023 is not the item I ordered.
I filed a dispute with Capital One on August 3, 2023
I made four phone calls to Capital One from August 3 to August 28 attempting to resolve. That resulted in a online letter that enumerated what I had to do.
I sent a copy of the purchase order that shows the item I ordered and a picture of the item I received. Clearly totally different.

I sent a copy of an online discussion with the merchant explaining it was the wrong item.
Capital One insisted I needed another merchant to say the product was incorrect and the cost to replace. Did that and sent a copy from a merchant that deals in this product indicating the cost.
Capital One then told me that I needed an copy of the emails with the merchant and that a copy of the online discussion was not good enough. Four different people told me exactly the same thing.
Capital One said I didn't have proof I sent the item back. I said that the merchant needed to send me a prepaid return label for the return. They actually agreed that was true, but then kept repeating I needed to have an email discussion.
Capital One insisted this was forced on them by MasterCard, but MasterCard page states that disputes are totally handled by the card issuer not them. So clearly they are lying. Four times they repeated this.
I have no way to contact Aliexpress via email regarding this. Capital One is absolutely no help here at all. Even though they agree that the wrong merchandise was sent. I also have no way to contact Capital One via email on this matter. The only method is via Phone and after four attempts it dead ends with exactly as described above. So I gave up there.
Desired outcome: A refund and a prepaid mailing label to ship the wrong item back to CHINA. IOW it's not a trivial cost.

Account Closed
My name is Chris Salmon. My credit card account was restricted without explaining why. I was asked to verify my identity. I sent the required forms twice. Without even notifying me, my account was closed. Credit karma let me know about the closure and that my credit score has dropped by 70 points! For no reason! I've done nothing wrong and you have done absolutely nothing to do resolve the issue.

Credit card past due fee
My name is Vena Culliver my account ending in #5098 payment was due August 27, 2023, when I realize it, I called in and made a Electronic phone payment (Auth Date 27 Aug) but because I called at 8:36pm and made the payment after 8:00 pm. I was charged $25.00 past due fee. The customer service rep explained, I must call after the fee is posted to get help. My payment history shows this is my first late payment. Can you help to remove this $25.00 fee.

I just started an account in July and started attempting to make payments. My bank kept blocking the payment. I was so frustrated and could not figure out why I wasn’t able to make a payment and kept trying. My account is now closed before I even had a month to try and make payment. I have now figured out by using my debit card the payment goes through immediately but my account has already been closed! This is my first credit card and I didn’t even get a chance to make everything right bc I tried to make the payment too many times. Capital one walmart credit card
Has anyone checked the fraudulent way Capital One charges interest on their Walmart Credit Card? Personally, this is a travesty in the banking industry and should be a class action lawsuit in the making! No one in Customer Service or Collections can explain how the interest charges are calculated. Even Managers in the Customer Service Department become belligerent when asked about how these charges are calculated because they DO NOT KNOW and can only read the information provided on the back of the statements.
There is an error in the Calculations of Interest Charges which is STEALING, yet Capital One is allowed to continue this theft and the Attorney General of the United States allows this to continue.
I spent 5 hours of my time on the phone with Customer Service on 8/29/2023 and still did not get an answer regarding the interest charged and how it was calculated because the Capital One Representatives did not know and could not find anyone to explain it to them, so they could explain it to me.
Desired outcome: I would like an apology and a refund of excessive charges. There needs to be more transparency on how these interest charges are calculated and why they are allowed to calculate them differently than other banking institutions.
Denied access to my money
I received an email from Capital One, Sunday, August 27th saying there was suspicious activity on my account and would i authorize a payment for $34.95. If not, click on this link. I clicked on the link and denied the transaction.
What Capital One doesn’t tell you, isthat when you do that your card is now blocked. Meaning, you can no longer use the card for anything. Capital One blocks any and all further transactions on your card. If they’re going to do that, they’d better give me some way to access my money. I choose not to use credit cards. Most places of business no longer accept checks. I can’t use my debit card to withdraw cash from an ATM. So, how am i supposed to eat, buy gas, pay bills, do the laundry? How am I supposed to live?
The soonest i can get a replacement card is 3 business days. They will not send a replacement card over night. They say they don’t have that option.
I guess this means Capital One doesn't have enough money to pay for an overnight delivery. Poor Cap 1.
Capital One does not provide an alternate way for me to access MY money.
This is unacceptable.

I purchased chips for WSOP thru my CC with Capital One. Apple is the 3rd party biller. I had a dispute with WSOP (they are in China) and I couldn't find a way to reach them. I purchased a chip package, and between my iphone and them, the package chips and other things included in the package never dowloaded, yet I got charged.I filed a complaint with both Capital One and with Apple. Capital One adjusted off the charge.Once that was adjusted off, I still had an account with WSOP, but they removed all of my rings, bracelets, and chips I had. They took me from a Master Player down to the lowest player. So all of the sudden I am playing and they put me back to the Master level, where once again I purchased chip packages.I played everyday. So, I got in in the morning, but that afternoon I got a message from them that my account had been disabled. You can't get an answer from their email address for WSOP in CHINA. So I turned to Apple and Capital one for help. The bottom line wth Capital one was, that even though I made the purchases to get everything I had, and WSOP took it all away, they WOULD NOT adjust off the charges I made to them, to something they took away from me. Switching to Discover, and Capital One, can sit and spin, and write off 622 in 7 years. I refer people to them all of the time. That is stopping. Friends I have turned onto Capital One, are also going to be going to Discover which has so much more going for it. Bye Capital One. I will never be back. Agents are arguementative, even though my situation is cut and dry, and they are forcing me to pay for the charges for something that was tooken away from me for no reason.

well let me start by stating that I lost my job but I kept up with my payments they were like nine days late but I still fought to make them, so here recently i was going to make my payment when there was fraud made against me, they stole everything I had and still have not recovered, I called to get help meanwhile I'm going into car note two that will be owed they said the computer said I was not qualified for payment to be added to end of contract. now I'm on car not three still not qualified never heard of a computer that makes that decision I have been finance many times in my life and never that they can't help you, so I was able to borrow money that I don't have to pay two of the three car notes so again i call for help for my not to be added to the end of contract she asked can I pay partial i said no I told her I have 150.00 to my name she said okay pay that to have me believe that my request would finally be granted she took payment and said thank you call back in a few days and try again. That was food money although she received 150.00, I can't pay the rest this month due. We all know what's going on out here I told her if they can help, I can make September payment. No one from capital one seems to not want to help I'm trying even without a job to keep making payments. I can't find a job without a car.
