I could not possibly be happier with the two projects (kitchen remodel and window replacement) done by Captial Remodeling!
I could not possibly be happier with the two projects (kitchen remodel and window replacement) done by Captial Remodeling! Both teams were respectful, courteous helpful, efficient and very competent! By the end of the kitchen remodel, I truly felt that the guys were my friends for life and I missed seeing them upon completion of the remodel. The kitchen that I had hated since buying the house has been replaced by a kitchen that I love! The window crew was very fast and efficient. It only took them 6 hours to completely replace the 21 windows in my home! I was very impressed with their work and the windows look so much better now! Since replacing the windows my electricity usage has been reduced substantially! I only wish that Capital Remodeling did bathroom remodeling because they would certainly have another project from me. Thanks Capital Remodeling!
Good service, quality and professional!
Good service, quality and professional! Although the advertisement in your local paper (15 windows for $2500) which is what pulled us in, is not correct. Just know you will not be paying that price. Because we were able to get a decent price on the windows we went with this company. The wait time was extensive after ordering the windows. Their company goes through a 3rd party company for their windows, which is why the wait time is so long. This is why 3 stars were given. So, if you are wanting windows in a hurry be aware that you will have to be patient. Once, the crew came to put in the windows they were efficient and professional. They worked hard and did they their job in a timely manner. The windows that were old and needed an upgrade has been replaced with now beautiful, easy to open and close, crisp white and energy efficient windows. We are happy to have chosen Capital Remodeling for our windows. Thank You!
My kitchen is not only beautiful, it was an absolutely painless experience from start to finish. No going to a showroom after you sign a contract - they bring all the samples you might want to choose from to your home, and you decide before signing. Realistic dates for the project, no pushing back. Only began demolition when cabinets have arrived. Crew was efficient with clean-up every day, and happily answered any questions I had. Was told it would be done in approximately two weeks - it was two weeks and one day. I couldn't have been happier with the project. Highly recommend Capital Remodeling for anyone considering a new kitchen.
The customer service at Capital Remodeling is atrocious. I called yesterday to cancel the service because I received a better quote and the young lady hung up on me. When I called back she issued no apology and just transferee me to the zone manager (Gaithersburg). He didn't contact me until this morning. He was not pleasant at all and kept cutting me off when I was trying to explain the situation and let him know that the contract was not explained to me (I believe his name was Rick). This is not how you conduct business when you're taking thousands of dollars from patrons.
The sales rep that came to my home was disrespectful and rude. He became angry after stating his quotes to us for window replacements because he told him that we wanted to shop around. We were insulted, labeled "insane" if we didn't accept his prices, stated that " I bet I could ride past your house in a year and you will still have same windows, ". He also referred to one of our windows as " nasty and needed bleach" He was rude , unprofessional disrespectful and I will never do business with a company that employs such individuals.
We had Capital Remodeling come by to look at our roof. After they did a thorough inspection and gave us a run down, they helped us make the choice of roofing material. They were thorough, they were low pressure, and they provided financing options that made sense and allowed us to do a major project shortly after having bought our house. They remained professional and easy to work with - their communication was clear and prompt. The workers who installed the roof were polite, professional, fast, and cleaned up well after themselves reducing worry that my kids would step on materials. We will definitely use Capitol Remodeling again for future Reno projects.
We purchased 8 new horizontal slider windows from Capital Rermodeling as replacements for 20 year old units that no longer opened very well
We purchased 8 new horizontal slider windows from Capital Rermodeling as replacements for 20 year old units that no longer opened very well. We scheduled a demonstration from their representative at our house after seeing their station at the *** Home Improvement Show, and teir rep brought a heat transmission demo kit using an infrared lamp and termperature sensor. Typical window samples he showed us allowed between 25 to 50% of the heat through, while their unit allowed just 5% of the heat transmission. This sold us on this product, in addition to their beating the price of a previous company's estimate, so we made the purchase. The installation occurred at the start of the covid 19 flu pendemic, and the intallers came equipped with mouth and nose covering masks. They were very efficient and completed the installation within one day. We recommend Capital Remodeling for window replacement, 5 star rating, if you are in the market for replacement windows.
Totally dishonest & unprofessional. No response to calls. No customer service once they collect that down payment. Conflicting information on warranty coverage. BAD BUSINESS!
From the minute I got the quote till the time they finished the install, they were wonderful. I would highly recommend them to all.
I had canceled an appointment because the representative on the phone *insistedthat "everyone I may discuss the project and your company's offer be at the house during the meeting. That is unrealistic and against my rights as a US Citizen and a human being. I am the sole owner of my house and whom I choose to discuss a project is *mybusiness! I don't appreciate such sales pressure techniques and no one should be subject to them!
Capital Remodeling did an EXCELLENT job. They were very professional! They competed my kitchen in a timely manner. I am very satisfied.
We paid $23k for a kitchen remodel that was worth $15k at best
We paid $23k for a kitchen remodel that was worth $15k at best. The cabinets are low quality. A drawer broke less than a week after the reno. We opted for laminate countertops and the ones we received look nothing like the pictures of the seamless laminate that we saw on the Formica site. The laminate is already lifting and separating from the ugly backsplash that it came with and we've only had them since august. The floor tiles were placed in a free form pattern that doesn't match the rest of our kitchen and the tiles are already loose. The reno went 3 weeks over projected without explanation and they didn't seem to care. We let the whole team know that we were dissatisfied and they could care less. Now I'm stuck with an expensive kitchen with cheap cabinets and countertops that I have to pay a contractor to fix. They delete their online reviews so you don't get the whole story about their service and products. I hate my kitchen and am considering seeking compensation.

I was a little concerned and hesitant to jump the gun due to all the comments from friends about their bad experiences with contractors and how long their jobs took, and the multiple issues they have had. However, that was not the case with Capital Remodeling. I'm very pleased with the service we received and the quick turn around in finishing the job and the quality of the work. From the time we met them at the home show to the contractors doing the job, the customer service was on point. I was given multiple choices as requested during the design, which made the rest of it so easy. We had several concerns due to the restricted space, but Capital Remodeling was prompt to address them without jeopardizing the design. The contractors did find something the project manager or designer didn't think of, which cost me a few thousand dollars more, but it was not a big deal. They resolved it quick and the duration of the job was around 2.5 weeks. I would recommend Capital Remodeling to my friends and family.
Do not do business with this company
Do not do business with this company. There are overpriced and once the work is done and they've charged you they do not return communication for warranty/work completion. My windows were installed but there is a gap of caulk missing. I reached out to the 'president' of the company who informed me that the service department would be in contact with me later in the week... that was a month ago and I've sent several more emails and have received no response back. On Facebook their ads began appearing on my timeline and I saw that were responsive to the comments on them, so I commented as well. My comments were deleted and they blocked me from being able to comment or message them on Facebook. Even before the install I requested to cancel the contract as they were in breach of being over a month past the install date that was on the contract. Word of advice, stay away from them and go with another company. I would have done better just dealing with Lowes or Home Depot for all the aggravation they've caused and I'm stuck having to pay them.

Unfortunately, we started off on a rocking start
Unfortunately, we started off on a rocking start. The COVID-19 pandemic caused a major "slow down" in communication and production. My installation due date was rescheduled (3) times but once I complained, I was offered a substantial discount. That was something I really appreciated. On the day of installation, all the guys were polite and professional. Watching the process was amazing! These guys snatched out my old windows without damages a thing, which was something that concerned me. They worked as a team and within 8 hours, I had (1) brand new windows. My heating bill has decrease and my home looks like "brand new money!" All my neighbors were impressed and happy that I took the time to make this old home looks brand new. Thank you, Capital Remodeling for a job well done! My only request is that you work better to improve the lines of communication, in a timely manner. Nowadays, the consumer should never have to call you multiple times to find out the status of the order. If there is a delay for any reason, you should have the integrity to call them first. Crystal
To start with, Their ad in the mail states "7 windows $525; 15 windows $1125 OR no interest for 12 months
To start with, Their ad in the mail states "7 windows $525; 15 windows $1125 OR no interest for 12 months". Ad code: ***
I called to ask what the catch was. Turns out that's the discount, not the price of the windows. While on the call, I agreed to schedule a free estimate. They scheduled a time that worked with me, and that I should expect a call the day prior to confirm. The call came and I confirmed. Then they asked if my wife would be home as well. She would not be, and the representative stated that both of us MUST be present for the estimate. I explained that when I scheduled this appointment, that was not a requirement, what changed? The representative said it should have been explained when I made the appointment, (it was not). I explained that both my wife and I have decision making authority in regards to these types of things, because we both have difficult schedules (airline pilot and physician assistant).
They refused to give an estimate unless both of us were present. We declined to reschedule the estimate. My negative review is based on three interactions with them, incomplete information being provided and the insistence that both of us be present for an estimate. So strange.
This company is the worst I have ever dealt with
This company is the worst I have ever dealt with. The customer service is horrible everything that comes out of there mouth isn't true. Once you sign a contract u are stuck with them. I was supposed to get my windows installed the end of July but it didn't happen. I spoke with the manager Eric and he was very rude and basically told me I had to wait and they didn't have time to keep me updated. I spoke with an Amy she would tell me to call her back in 20 days I would and she hadn't checked on anything. My window were finally installed in September except for 1 they lost it or didn't make it. I asked if I had to wait another 3 months for it to be made. Of course no it won't take that long it was September 15 and I just received the last window on December 18 over 3 months. I would never recommend this company if someone asked me who installed my windows I will say a different company. 10 windows cost me $9,300. Like I said beware of this company. They treat you like a second class citizen. Plus there contracts say u don't have to pay until all windows are installed. They tried to get me to start paying for the 9 windows. I knew if this happened I would never get my last window. I'm 63 yo women and I have dealt with a lot of companies and by far they are the worst.
My mind was blown away for after I made my appointment a week ago and nothing was said I me about my husband
My mind was blown away for after I made my appointment a week ago and nothing was said I me about my husband. I got the call today from a lady name Ashley who said she was a manager confirming my appointment that we set up then was asked if my spouse was going to be there. After I responded with no because he is on recruiting duty and goes into work at 7 o'clock in the morning and I do not see him until after 10 PM Monday through Saturday, she told me that he had to be there for them to come out to speak to me about the windows. That it was Company policy for both spouses to be there. Even though the home is only in my name and the money is coming out of my pocket for this job to be done. As a woman I feel a certain way that you're telling me that my spouse has to be at the home I own that I want to put windows in , you will not do that because my spouse is unable to be here due to his job. One I don't need permission to do something to my home if I want it done, Although she clearly told me that it was not that I needed permission for my staff to do it but he had to be there for me to be able to do it if it was vice versa and he was the one calling that I had to be here also for him to do it also believe he does not need permission for me to do something to the home. But if I was single then obviously they would come out because it's just me, then to add if I had a boyfriend that lived with me then my boyfriend would have to be there also even though he has no legal right to me or my home. This is some of the dumbest stuff I've ever heard from any company. So here is to take it my business going elsewhere to somebody that will come out to me and to give me a quote so I can carry-on and have them put these windows in my home.
Predator Remodeling Company Beware!
Predator Remodeling Company
Beware! Capital Remodeling Inc. is a predator company that intentionally advertise falsely to get in your home. I contacted Capital Remodeling Inc to remodel my kitchen. I received their advertisement in the mail that advertised discounts on cabinets, an instant kitchen rebate, and free conceptual drawing. On the day of my estimate, the designer, Reggie T came out. Before we got to work, I told Reggie I had a few coupons. He acknowledged then proceeded to give me the company's background information. We then started to pick out cabinets, backsplash, Reggie took measurements, etc. Now it's time to provide the estimate. I went to get the flyer that came in the mail and gave it it Reggie. He laughed in my face and told me, "He does know what their marketing department is doing, and the information in the flyer is wrong." Reggie went on to say, "Have you seen our advertisement to get an entire kitchen remodeled for $10K, that's false too. We put these advertisements out, just to get in the door." I could not believe what I was hearing. Reggie proceeded to provide the estimate which was over $28K. I told Reggie I was not expecting to pay that much. I was expecting around $20K. Reggie said let him call his manager to see what he could do. He acted as if he was speaking to his manager on the phone, I asked if I could speak with him to ask about the flyer and Reggie ignored my request. He hung up the phone and said, "my manager agreed to $27,039." I told Reggie I would think about it and get back with him. The following week, I called and spoke with Reggie's manager, Ryan C, who told me he was a Director for Capital Remodeling. Ryan apologize for what Reggie's behavior, said he was sending out his lead designer to meet with me and he would give me discounts for my previous experience.
On the day of my second estimate, the designer David Henry came out. He apologized for what happened with Reggie T. He told me he did not have any of the documents from Reggie, therefore, we had to pick out everything again. I told David about the coupons and he said, he would give me $1,980 off the cabinets. David proceeded to take measurements and we picked out cabinets, backsplash, etc. Now it's time for the estimate. David quoted the price $53,583. I asked how did the price jump from $27,039 (Reggie T estimate) to $53K. He said, he do not know what Reggie included in his quote. I told him, the only difference from Reggie's design and his design was where my sink would be placed. David said, let him call his manager. He, like Reggie acted as if he was speaking with someone on the home. David came back and provided a final price of $40,000. This price was only if Capital Remodeling Inc could place a large sign in my yard for two weeks and allow them to do a virtual tour of my kitchen. We told David we would think about it and get back with him.
Again, beware!

Alex a sales rep from CR came to our home and gave us a quote for replacement windows
Alex a sales rep from CR came to our home and gave us a quote for replacement windows. Upon finalization of the quote, to "lock-in" the special quote that was given, Alex requested info and signing of a document on Docusign. Me and my husband were under the impression that we were to call Alex in 3 days if we wanted to proceed with the window replacement. We told him at the time of the meeting that we were purchasing a new vehicle and that took precedent over the windows, and we were pregnant with another child, so we were not sure if this was feasible. Alex informed us that if I filled out said information that it would be easier to complete the deal if I filled out the form, and that it "locked-in" the price. I received a phone call from him stating that our "contract" was law binding because I never cancelled the "contract" so they were going to proceed. I told him we did not want to complete project. I want to this said "contract" to be cancelled.

I bought all new windows from Capital Remodeling in February . All seem to be good , until I notice that the windows in the dinning room was sweating, on checking the window in one of the bedroom was doing the same. called the installer, who said he would get back to me. By then the paint was falling off the wall along with black mole forming. Got on to Ms Hannah who had a tech come out on the 13 October who put cork on both windows .However the damage to the sheet rock in the dinning room was not taken care of. Contacted Ms Hannah again who said that it was not a issue with the window and they do not do sheet rock. The windows are still sweating even though extra cork was put on them.
I had originally gotten a quote from this company to remodel my kitchen. Unfortunately due to personal circumstances, Im unable to go ahead with plans and want to cancel the contract. I've called multiple times and no one answers. I also sent an email. My request is to cancel the contract and revoke any consent to use my SSN or charge my card.
I entered into a kitchen remodel contract with Capital Remodeling, Inc on 7/1
I entered into a kitchen remodel contract with Capital Remodeling, Inc on 7/1. I made clear during the contract discussions that I was self-financing this transaction and would NOT NEED third-party financing. Indeed, no credit application nor third-party financing was ever applied for. On 8/5, Capital Remodeling, Inc., unilaterally, and without authorization and consent, performed a direct credit inquiry of my Equifax credit profile, IN DIRECT VIOLATION OF MY RIGHTS UNDER THE FAIR CREDIT REPORTING ACT (FCRA). In addition, I was not notified in writing after the credit inquiry as to the contents of what was procured from my credit file (including credit score) nor was I informed in writing of the rationale for performing the credit inquiry in the first place. Capital Remodeling, Inc. then demanded a cashier's check form the full amount of the work to be performed and a "proof of balance" statement. To date, no work has been performed on this project.

They refuse to replace a window with broken gas seal even though it clearly falls under their lifetime warranty terms. Product quality is poor as this is the second window to break seal. Also have a rusted and broken screen they also refuse to replace. They sold these items under a lifetime warranty that they refuse to replace without a fee.
It has been more than one month since they have started the project with our kitchen, and they still have not completed it
It has been more than one month since they have started the project with our kitchen, and they still have not completed it. The countertop is not in good condition. They installed it on the 4th of March, and nobody inspected it yet. We mentioned many times that we are not accepting this countertop, but they don't take any action about it. Also, no one provided the handles and the doors. Our kitchen is full of materials, and electrical wires are hanging out of the walls. No one takes action to finish the project. They told us at the beginning that this project will take only two weeks to complete. Now, it has been over a month, and nothing has been done correctly. I have two children, and I have no kitchen. I tried to reach out to the high management in this company, but they refused to give me the contact information. Also. they have no respect to our privacy. The plumber (their contactor) entered our house without permission, shut off the water, and started working.

Window installed by the company started leaking water very badly during a rain. There is noticeable water damage and I have called them repeatedly for warranty service and they say they will call me back and never do.
Capital remodeling charged me for a plumber in a kitchen remodel and all the plumber did was flood my kitchen twice, hooked up waste water to the drinking spicket, had me buy a new dishwasher because he said he couldn't hook the old one up (which was a lie), and ruined the sink base cabinet. The remodel started January 6th and was only supposed to last two weeks. If I didn't have my own plumber come in to fix the plumbing, it would still not be fixed. We went over 6 and a half months without a functioning kitchen. I had to take off so much work. They took over a month to even acknowledge that they should reimburse me for plumbing charges. They said "oh it was a couple hundred dollars so it not like it's that much. You can call welds Fargo but we will dispute it and win." This company over charges and under delivers.

1. Sales Rep of Capital Remodeling Inc
1. Sales Rep of Capital Remodeling Inc. came to my home on September 9th with regards to a quote for kitchen remodeling 2. There different types of quotes were provided. Was told that I can sign a form to lock in the price for first quote, but I have the option to cancel within 7 business days. 3. Architect drawings were supposed to be provided to me before the 7 days, which will allow me to make a decision. This was not provided, and also due to health reason, I decided to cancel. 4. Sent a text message to the sales representative of Capital Remodeling Inc to cancel on September 15th (this was within the 7 business days provided to cancel). 5. The sales rep at no time told me that I needed to call their office to cancel or that was in the document I signed. When sending the text message also, he did not correct me to say I needed to call in the office to cancel, that a simple text to him will not work. 6. On September 22 evening, noticed a charge of $8,625

Back on Feb. 9, 2021 Alex D met with me and my husband to talk about replacement windows. On March 25 our windows were measured (more than a month later) but the gentleman measuring had questions for their design dept. about the windows. I didn't hear back. On March 31, my husband and I had a medical emergency (not good). On April 6, Amy (with the company) called wanting to set up another appt to re-measure. I asked if production had started, she said NO, I asked if we could just cancel, she was going to let the powers to be know. On April 7, Alex called, says that production had started and that we missed the cancellation period. Someone is not telling the truth, because if production has started then why re-measure. I just want to cancel now. Sorry the emergency didn't happen on their schedule!
On 6/3, Kevin W**** came to my home to provide an estimate for a kitchen remodel
On 6/3, Kevin W came to my home to provide an estimate for a kitchen remodel. I explained that I did not want to commit right now b/c I was going through a refinance and I wasn't certain on how i wanted to move forward. He said to lock in the price I need to give a $500 deposit, and he'd add something in the contract that said it was contingent on my refi. I specifically asked, several times "If I change my mind, do I need to provide any type of proof or paperwork?" I asked this specifically b/c I was also looking at other contractors and didn't want any issues getting a refund if necessary. He said "No", just call us and let us know that the refinancing did not go through, this is just to lock in the price. I signed the paperwork and provided my bank info once I was clear that I was only locking in the price and a refund would not be an issue. 6/14, I called and was told I need proof and my rep was wrong. I am very upset and disappointed in their deceptive practices.

We met with a representative from Capital Remodeling , Inc
We met with a representative from Capital Remodeling , Inc. on Tuesday August 3rd and signed an agreement to purchase new windows for our home. My wife and I had 72 hours to cancel the order. Yesterday, August 5th we tried to inform Capital Remodeling that we were indeed cancelling the contract. Per their contract it is indicated that we had 72 hours to cancel, we were well inside our window to cancel. After relentless calls to the company, the representative, and the Manager of the Virginia Beach, VA office that went all unanswered we finally we able to talk to the representative and the manager in the evening whereby they showed no interest in helping me resolve this issue. I sent emails to both of them which they both replied to yesterday, so they are aware that we are within our right to cancel. I have text messages from the representative that I am saving dated yesterday as well which indicates everything is canceled and no further action required. No documented confirmation.

July 02 A deposit was made toward having (8) windows installed at my father's house with an expected install dateof 8 weeks
July 02 A deposit was made toward having (8) windows installed at my father's house with an expected install dateof 8 weeks. Due to the pandamic there were delays as expected. However In October a contractor for the company came and installed only (3) of the (8) windows purchased because that's all that he received from the warehouse. My father whom in disabled was at the resident by unable to examine the process of the work. The following day I arrived to inspect installed windows and discovered that they weren't done per the companies expressed design nor to my father's & I satisfaction. I spoke with Installation manager Amy at the Maryland branch and inform her of our dissatisfaction with shoemolding previously installed not being removed as requested during the initial signing if the contract. I sent in pictures as requested of what was done. Never was I told they couldn't preform what was being asked, they just returned at a later date & installed the remaining window.

On 07/20 I had an appointment for a window replacement estimate
On 07/20 I had an appointment for a window replacement estimate. I requested a detailed quote to be sent prior of me signing any paperwork. Salesman offered a great price which he asked me for $100 to "lock in" the price and I will have a week after to review and cancel. I never received the requested detailed quote nor attached "contract". I had troubles with the link through DocuSign and on 07/26 a new link was sent to me. After reviewing the paperwork I discovered a lot of the sales pitch greatly differ from the actual "contract". Pricing did not include my living room window fixture. I tried reaching out to cancel the service to their Gaithersburg office but nobody picked up the phone. Tuesday morning I contacted corporate phone numbers and webemail, but they said only GB office can cancel it. GB manager called later informing me that a week has passed as it is counted 5 business days, Saturday included and I can't cancel. Predatory and deceptive practices, not ComplaintsBoard.com A+ business

We signed the contract on 07/06
We signed the contract on 07/06. The contract states that "work to start approximately on 9/14 and to be substantially completed on 9/28" for installation of 3 windows and 2 sliding doors. The company violated the contract two times: first when they didn't install windows and doors at the agreed timeline but instead they were installed on 10/29. Second, the company didn't order the window's trim in the right color and now it is significantly delayed second time. Their contract states that they are not liable for anything if anything happens. The contract doesn't protect consumer rights and only written in the favor of the company which makes it illegal. The company refused to compensate us for violation of the contract. Also, the company engaged in misrepresentation of when the actual installation would take place, promising "it will be ready in two weeks" without an intention to full-fill the promise. We would like to be compensated for the violation of the contract.

Capital Remodelng took out all electrical wiring and did not leaving kitchen in working order once work was completed
Capital Remodelng took out all electrical wiring and did not leaving kitchen in working order once work was completed. Worst customer service I have ever seen. Complete bait and switch. Everything upfront seemed legit until they demolition the kitchen, took out ALL the electricity and when all the new appliances were put back in there were no electrical outlets to plug anything back into. No electric for the stove, dishwasher, refrigerator, or garbage disposal. Every electrical socket/wiring was removed/broken. I was also promised a 4 inch backsplash that never arrived when the counters were installed. I asked Capital Remodeling where the 4" back splash was and they stated it was not on the contract. I showed them it was and asked for a credit. My program manager agreed on credit for the backsplash and for us having to do the electrical work to bring the kitchen back to function. I received a phone call from their sales department who told me that since electric was not on the contract that they did not have to give me a working kitchen back to its "original functionality". I have never heard anything like this in my life. What customer would ever pay $22K for a brand new kitchen and then be told "sorry, you are on your own to get electricity back to your kitchen for all of your appliances after our company removed and broke the receptacles and wiring". UNBELIEVABLE!

On July 19,2021, I had a marketing associates , Megan K**** from Capital Remolding visited me for a $10,000 free estimate kitchen work
On July 19,2021, I had a marketing associates , Megan K from Capital Remolding visited me for a $10,000 free estimate kitchen work. After going over the plan, she presented me a budget for $ 44000+. When I explained to her that was way over my budget, she made multiple calls to her supervisor and offered me discounts up to $20,000 if I sign the contract that night. After all my unsuccessful effort to get her to leave my house, I signed the contract and asked her to email it to me to review. She said yes, but I never receive the contract and she did not explain that I have 5 or 6 business days to cancel. On Monday july 26, I received a call from their office asking me to complete my application for credit. I tried to explain to the person that I do not want to proceed since I did not get the the contract. He immediately started to treated me saying I can not cancel , and if I do, they will keep my deposit. The same day I called the bank and cancelled my deposit indicating I did not want their service. The following day I left a message on their machine stated my intension not to go through with the plan. The guy named Adam been harassing me by calling my phone and leave treats for months. Now I am receiving bills from a collection agency for service that was not provided. I need your help to get this company to leave me alone and remind them that collection should be for rendered services or goods. Please help prevent this kind of stress and harassment's to other customers. Thank you .

Capital Remodeling refusing to pay me a refund
Capital Remodeling refusing to pay me a refund. They told me there was no record of me calling to cancel services. I didn't have a copy of the contrac On July 28 at 12:26pm, I called Capital Remodeling Inc. to get assistance to accessing the contract to get a better understanding of when services will be rendered. I was directed to contact Hannah at (443) *** for assistance and left a voice message. I never received a call from Hannah. On July 29, not knowing what was on the contract as I could not access it, I called to cancel services. I called both customer service numbers and called Hannah again July 30, 31 and August 4. The customer service representative directed me to a Ryan C, however I ended up speaking with someone named Adam E. He told me "there is no record of me calling, period" and that the customer service lines are record, " so there must have been a server issue" referencing the contract in the Docusign application. I let Adam know that I did not sign the contract, it was shown to me on July 24, and I then attempted to access it in my email on July 28 and was unsuccessful retrieving it which prompted me to contact CapitalRemodeling for a copy of the contract. Adam proceeded to tell me that they cannot refund me as it was outside of the rescission period and said I can contact an attorney. I found the business card the sales representative left and emailed the Regional Manager, Richard B on August 4, asking about the contract and the refund. He then replied with a PDF copy of the contract and stated in the email, that there is not record of me calling. Looking at the contract that I did not sign, it says the deposit was $1972 and the amount withdrawn from my account was $2024. On August 11, Richard B contacted and left a voicemail message stating he will send a resolution letter and that I cannot get a refund as it is outside of the rescission period. I have not received the letter to date. I have not received a refund.

I had a rep from this company come out at the end of July this year to remodel my kitchen
I had a rep from this company come out at the end of July this year to remodel my kitchen. The review of the plan didn't happen until august this year. The told me the tentative date for remodel would be between oct 12th and November 12th. I explained that I would not be available for most of that time and I was instructed to put the dates on the paper I signed that I was not available which I did. The paper also stated that I would be contacted with 6 weeks to schedule my installation. Six weeks came and went and I called. I was instructed by two people that my installation was still scheduled for the exact dates I am not available. I was told that this information did not make it up the project people and that this isn't always shared. I was told though that they would work around my schedule. I expressed that I did not want to be going through an installation during the holidays since this has already been 4 months since I originally signed a contract. They told me that it "[protected]@ be before the holidays. Fast forward to last Friday and I get an email saying that the flooring I requested is delayed until the middle of December and I need to pick a different one. I asked for samples so I can compare to the existing floor that it will connect to. I was told my salesman will be happy to come out and provide samples. He just showed up later than our appointment with three options that were in stock on his computer. I wasn't happy with either and I was told I could get the flooring removed and as long as I provide the materials they will install. I asked what would happen if I can't get the materials here since I have NO IDEA how that would even work and was told the project would be delayed until the flooring arrived. I just want out of this project at this point and my deposit back. I don't feel like this project is ever going to happen and I feel like things will keep being out of stock as I was told the spice rack inserts I ordered are also not available

We've had issues with customer service, product quality, and timing
We've had issues with customer service, product quality, and timing. We've been expecting capital remodeling to come and remodel our kitchen since end of August. They never communicated items were delayed and that the work was going to be delayed. That was the first red flag. My mother took off work to be present at the time the project was going to begin and they never contacted to say they weren't coming. We relocated my grandmother so she would be away from covid risks while the workers were away. Since the work was delayed we decided to switch the flooring option to another. The project finally began the last week of October. Since then we have had chipped cabinets ( they installed it anyway and tried to put some wood putty in it to mask it, It didn't work) and one of the cabinets was the wrong size. Since this happened the backsplash was delayed and they stopped coming. The countertops and sink were installed and a few days later (without being used) we find a rust stain on the sink and a few days later the sink is all scratched up after a few days of use and the caulking smudged and soft. The entire time we are being tossed around to multiple different people and no one seems to have fixed answers. They come and do work for about 2-3 hours the days they're there (with multiple smoke breaks) and take off. Also, my father has had to help workers do some of the work at this point. We are expecting the cabinets that were being replaced because of damage to finally be fixed the Wednesday before thanksgiving and much to our disappointment they call out and say they're not coming. That Friday the worker shows up and asks where the cabinets are... that they were supposed to be there for him to install. They weren't there. Therefore, he left. At this point no one has checked the sink yet. I contact who we thought was the project manager and send him Pictures of all the issues we are having with product and he says he will take care of it. He doesn't. Come to find out that wasn't our project manager and the actual project manager wasn't in the office that week. When we finally speak to the office they tell us the name of the actual project manager and that the workers will be there Monday to set up the cabinet which a week later had been delivered. She then calls back and says they can't come on Monday because they had an issue with a different project elsewhere. We are put on the back burner yet again. We are upset and stressed out. We have already paid money down cash for some of the products and no one seems to care about finishing the project at all. I am still expecting a call from the actual project manager and I have contacted the president of the company as well.

contracted for 8 windows style and price/ CR can't make one of the windows as per contact
contracted for 8 windows style and price/ CR can't make one of the windows as per contact.CR added $952 to price for presumed lead weeks later At sales appointment, we told the salesman we required 8 windows that had ventilation openings, all to be installed at the same time. Having the 2 windows in the lower level installed with a pop out window was critical to the sale. The 6 windows upstairs are original 1959 windows which we informed the salesman. No mention was made during the sales discussion there was a surcharge for presumed or tested lead paint. It appears that CR does not want to disclose this added cost as that would certainly have had us reconsider our price and decision to sign that day. We were exposed to high pressure sales tactics--to discourage any sleep on it and sign later, as there are additional charges if you don't sign same day. We were given a tablet to sign--with only the signature appearing and there were no printed documents available to review terms. We provided Ryan with a check for deposit of $2332. I was assured by the salesman who measured all the windows the day we signed that we could have 6 replacement windows upstairs and 2 narrow pop out windows in bathrooms downstairs. We were never told that either of the 2 windows downstairs could be a problem to make. I specifically explained that we had to have windows that open in the bathrooms for ventilation. We were assured that this would not be a problem from their manufacturer. Later in the month we had someone come from CR to measure windows. I did not see this man do any lead testing on any of the windows. It was a shock to later receive an additional bill a week that showed an additional $952 is now added to our costs for presumed lead. Apparently CR buries this lead surcharge somewhere in tiny print in a contract that is only received AFTER one signs. This is outrageous! When Ryan the salesman came to our home, he knew the age of the home was 1959 but failed to do what any honest person would do. Disclose an additional potential cost. This in itself would render the integrity and reputation of the company to be at rock bottom but there is an additional issue. Ryan contacted us by phone this week to let us know CR can't make the window we requested for one of the downstairs bathrooms. They said they will put a solid piece of glass in the frame. The window will never be able to open. This also came as a shock, as we were told at point of sale we could get a window that would open. We do not want a pane of glass. This company did not redo the contract nor discuss the fact we were billed over $800 for a window they can't offer us. The whole contract should be void as we are not getting the 8 windows we had originally requested. We want to work with a contractor that can offer us 8 windows that have functioning ventilation. We are entirely dismayed at the lack of transparency, integrity and professionalism of this company. We want our deposit back and we do not wish to continue this sale after this highly negative experience. Capital Remodeling changed the price and the windows AFTER our sales contract was signed. They had the burden of providing all 8 windows as we agreed upon and not 7. This deal should be rescinded immediately.

Very professional and got the job done. I met with three other companies. Capitol Remodling offered the lowest price for the same window that the other companies treid to sell me. They came in and completed the job the same day in a timely manner. They cleaned up afterwards. I love my new windows and glad I chose this company
Our sales rep was very professional and informative. He explained the entire process in complete details and was very honest on what we needed and what we did not. He got our price to where we needed it and our scheduled install was on the money. I would highly recommend Capital Remodeling for your window needs.
Compared to what I've done in the past, I was somewhat anxious on how the quality of work would turn out. Much to my surprise, the the work was grade "A" construction; Grade "A" Timeliness Grade "A" Quality of work Grade "A" On Clean-up (after work completed for day) Grade "A" On Delivery Grade "A" On Finished Product Very nice work Capital Remodeling and team
When the salesman came to my residence to give me an estimate one of the things he told me was they replace any bad wood as needed free of charge. That's one of the reasons I decided to go with them. They came install 21 windows. A couple of days later I went in my spare room to hang some drywall. When I remove the paneling I noticed the whole back wall had rotted wood. There was nothing Holding the windows up. I was able to move the whole wall with 2 fingers. When I called Capital remodeling to ask why they didn't replace any of the wood in that wall they said they were not going to replace my wall. I didn't want them to replace the wall. All I wanted was for them to at least replace the wood that holds the windows up. They refused to do the very thing they said they will do if needed.
