ECP Incorporated Bad faith rejection of my warranty

Purchased ECP for my new Tacoma Truck last year. In less than a year, submitted a claim for seat stains. They had a mobile detail tech come out to clean up the seats. Unfortunately, not only was he unable to remove the stains, the treatment he used made the seats look much worse. I requested ECP stand by their warranty and replace the seat covers according to their warranty. Their response was a rejection because the tech stated the cause of the stain was unknown. There is no basis for this rejection and they have no exception in their warranty for "cause unknown". It is just an easy out for them. They are acting in bad faith and breach of warranty...

ECP Incorporated Absolutely useless warranty and terrible customer service

DO NOT BUY THIS WARRANTY. IT IS USELESS.

I got it from a local dealership for a 7 years paint and interior warranty. I went to file a claim Oct 2022. I was told what I needed to do. The dealership said it would be 2 months for an appt. So I emailed back that I had to wait. Then the dealership saw it and said it was iron deposits to take it to a car detail place. So I emailed back saying this. The dealership was absolutely awful and there is no reason they couldn't do it, but that's another issue. So they said take it to a shop. So I have to wait for an appointment, I had a baby and was unable to take it for a little but, so when I took it I sent the receipt and got an email back that they wouldn't cover it because it was more than 30 days beyond my original submission.

I had been In Contact with them for MONTHS and they never once mentioned that there was a strict time limit. Now I have wasted money on the warranty and on getting it detailed and the ceramic reapplied.

Buyer beware, this warranty is useless and you should just ay for the coating yourself.

Recommendation: Stay away

ECP Incorporated These folks represent this company to help you keep your interior looking like diamond ceramic and exterior

These folks represent this company to help you keep your interior looking like diamond ceramic and exterior. However I had the service for one year did not file any claims until recently needed my seats clean. I first request a total refund because the service is not worth it they denied that. Also the lady was very rude to me we're requesting my entire car be clean. They only wanted to clean one seat and repair a small hole. However I've been waiting now over a month for a return call. This company is a scam they do not give you what they offer and I want my money returned. I suggest people stay away from this business.

ECP Incorporated I debated whether or not to purchase the warranty on this car, and boy am I glad I did!

I debated whether or not to purchase the warranty on this car, and boy am I glad I did!The online claim process was simple to use. ECP was incredibly responsive throughout the claim process. *** would respond to my email questions within an hour or less and kept me updated on the status of my claim. ECP arranged for an expeditious repair to my interior. The company they contracted with was fantastic and flexible with my schedule. Because the dealership where I purchased my vehicle was an hour away, ECP then arranged for me to have their product reapplied at a dealership 15 minutes from my home. I cant recommend ECP highly enough! Thank you!

I was pleasantly surprised and pleased with the customer service from ECP and ***, the Claims Supervisor who assisted in my claim. I had parked under a pine tree last summer and between the pine sap and the birds who nested in the tree, my car was splattered and exterior paint damage significant. She walked me through gathering the estimates, and approving the claim. When I scheduled with the body shop, she immediately sent out the check to them. Additionally, I was informed that I could take my car back to the place that put on the original exterior protection for an new one at no charge to me. Great coverage and customer service. I highly recommend this Car Protection!

My experience with ECP was great once we connected with the right *** Representative. Mr. was absolutely superb taking care of my claim. He initiated all the required documents immediately and gain approval for the services I needed within a few hours. He should be the benchmark for ECP, to include being used as a shining example of how to respond to the Customers concerns. I recommend ECP to anyone that seeks good service and respect from a company and their representatives. Thanks for everything.

I almost did not buy the *** from ECP when purchasing my *** Outback. That would of been a big mistake. Now one year later my windsheild suffered major damage needing replacement. I dreaded the process of contacting the insurance company and expecting a difficult & lengthy process. I was wrong. The entire process was seemless and expedient. Many thanks to the thourough and professional care from ECP claims representative ***. I highly recommend ECP and would not hesitate to purchase another policy from this reputable company.

So far so good! I submitted a claim and received a response promptly with instructions about how to get an estimate and what to do once that was done. My claim was approved and that also occurred very promptly. The challenge I had was getting into the local place to have them do the work, not with receiving timely feedback from ECP. I haven't gotten the work done yet but my understanding is that they submitted the funds to the shop where I will get the work done and I just have to go keep my appointment now. A lot easier than other claims I've made, that's for sure!

is top notch. I purchased the warranty Auto Armor *** Plus through my dealership when I bought my car and the dealer gave me a "care kit" with a few products in it to clean and maintain my car's appearance. The dealership told me they could replace the products when they were empty as long as I bring the empty bottles back. When I brought them back several months later, they said they don't do that at the dealership and I had to contact *** (of course, bait and switch). I contacted *** and talked with *** who said they don't normally replace that care kit for free, but she would send one out anyways since the dealership messed up. Received it a few days later and she sent me an order form for more products in the future. Their products are really good detailing formulas and keep my car looking and feeling bright and new, so I will definitely be ordering more of them in the future (plus the prices are really good too, better than storefront or Amazon for comparable products which I feel don't work as well as the *** ones anyways). Haven't tried the warranty process yet, but I have heard from other customers that it is a smooth process. I would definitely recommend

ECP Incorporated Exceptional service

Exceptional service. I had a comprehensive warranty on my Car since the first day of purchase. In almost 6 years I never had to submit a claim until recently when I noticed a lot of brake dust. I brought the warranty issue up after moving to a new state. I was nervous about the claim as I am no longer living in the state of purchase. However, I submitted the claim, and their team connected with me, collected all details, estimation from the licensed mechanic, and pictures of the damage. They reviewed the claim and in a week the claim was approved. They even exceeded expectations and mailed the check to my new address, which is out of their network. That is a great example of customer-focused service.

ECP Incorporated I purchased a GMC Yukon two years ago and was sold the Auto Armor Car Protection for $650

I purchased a GMC Yukon two years ago and was sold the Auto Armor Car Protection for $650. I was skeptical because of the price but the sales person claimed that it made my paint invincible against anything. I purchased the product. Two weeks ago I noticed that the paint on my hood was cracking. I took my vehicle to a body mechanic and he told me that the paint was cracking and that it was most likely caused by the sun. I contacted ECP (Auto Armor) and they told me to submit a claim. I did and a few days later I heard back that I was denied. The lady said that the warranty would not cover this type of damage. This product did not work and now I have to pay $980 out of my pocket to get my hood stripped and painted. This product is useless and this company is a scam and they do not honor their 7 year warranty.

If you think what you paid for is protecting more than about 10% of your vehicle from corrosion or rust, it is not, you were misled and ripped off! I paid $1,495 for the *** Car Protection Environmental Protection Plans, included are four items, two of the treatments are: (1) a lifetime warranty Undercoating Sound Shield, what they do not tell you is some vehicles already have factory installed Sound ***, and they only apply their undercoating to about 5-10% of the treatable metal area under the vehicle, (2) what is worse, is the 10 year warranty Corrosion Rust Proofing, they only apply this to the hood, it is not applied anywhere else, it is NOT applied to the fenders, doors, or lift gate, really!, believe it or not, it is only applied to the hood, so they may provide a warranty, but your car is not really protected.

ECP Incorporated SCAM INSURANCE / nothing is covered / Paid for policy at a dealership

SCAM INSURANCE / nothing is covered / Paid for policy at a dealership. Roof racks started corroding, definitely environmental, never been used. Was told they weren't covered due to cracking and peeling. Spoke to a representative who couldn't explain why, but mentioned fading would be covered. However, sun damage can cause blistering and bubbling, not just fading, and it's hard to tell on silver. I plan to demand the dealership stop selling this product and will call them daily and visit their main office. I'm considering a class action lawsuit to prevent future misleading information about their insurance.

ECP Incorporated My 2017 car, bought new, has an undisclosed number of miles

I have a 2017 car I purchased new with an undisclosed number of miles. I opted for the protection package due to having kids and pets. It was marketed as ideal for young children who eat and drink in the vehicle. Recently, a tear appeared in the front seat from my 60-pound puppy moving around. When I filed a claim, it was denied, echoing stories I've read about others' experiences. They labeled the damage as normal wear and tear, citing the warranty, and refused to assist further. Even my request for a prorated refund was rejected, despite my policy still being active. It seems they rebuff all claims, expecting customers to relent. In the end, they took my money without providing the promised service. ECP is yet another company exploiting consumers.

ECP Incorporated I had the most amazing experience with ECP!

I had the most amazing experience with ECP! After finding I had RED dye transfer from my coat onto my NEW Mercedes off white leather drivers seat :( I contacted ECP and spoke to Jordan and was given prompt information to fill out my claim. As I no sooner hit enter from the claim process, the contact from the repair company was on the phone scheduling my appoint for Monday. He was amazing and arrived on time, spent two hours doing his magic and my drivers seat and arm rest were restored to their original beauty. I was amazed and relieved that this issue was fixed and handled with the utmost professionalism and in such a timely matter. ECP was well worth the additional expense when purchasing my vehicle...I really debated on whether I needed the additional coverage and am SO thankful I decided to go with the option.. as if I am ONE of those people...IF it can happen IT will! Thank you Jordan for the wonderful experience and great JOB! Debbie

When I purchased my 2017 Nissan Titan SL in 2017, I also purchased an Auto Armor, ECP plan to protect my vehicle in case of damage to interior and exterior of my truck. I noticed an issue with my driver seat . I didn't know how it happened but knew I needed help. I notified ECP to start a claim in January. Immediately a claims representative, Jordan Willing contacted me by e mail. Jordan gave me a claim#*** and guided me through the process on what ECP needed to proceed with my claim. When Jordan received my pics of the damaged area, I then was told a company called Dr. Vinyl was to contact me to make an appointment for repairs which they did. Dr. Vinyl came to my house the next day. The technician, Mr. was great. He repaired the seat within 40 minutes. The seat looks brand new. Thank you Jordan *** from ECP for making this process go so smoothly and quick. Dr. Vinyl is an excellent company also. I called them to say how their tech took care of my seat was too.

ECP Incorporated The product is top notch

The product is top notch. I purchased a warranty through my dealership when I bought my car and received a care kit with products to maintain my car's appearance. The dealership promised to replenish the products, but later reneged, directing me to the manufacturer. Despite initial confusion, the manufacturer's representative was helpful and sent a replacement kit, along with an order form for future purchases. Their detailing formulas are effective, making my car look new, and are priced competitively. While I haven't used the warranty service yet, I've heard positive feedback from other customers. I would definitely recommend their products.

ECP Incorporated I purchased a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado Crew cab this past June and opted to have ECP Plus applied to the truck to protect my investment

I purchased a 2020 Chevrolet Silverado Crew cab this past June and opted to have ECP Plus applied to the truck to protect my investment. The dealership lead me to believe this was a good choice and explained the benefits and scheduled the application. In 12 short weeks I noticed that the protective coating was not beading water; dirt was adhering to the vehicle, water spots formed on the vehicle after a rain, and the slick feel/texture of a highly polished vehicle was gone all of which was contradictory to the promises made by the dealership. In addition, the interior - dash, console, side doors, steering wheel, etc. began to discolor forming unsightly blotches. When I returned to the dealership which applied the ECP protection, they told me that this was normal and assured me that the protective qualities were still present on the vehicle. I didn't believe this to be true and accurate so I called the company direct to get verification and clarification. I spoke with ECP Plus Customer Service Representative, Ms. Samantha ***, at length and explained my situation and ordeal. Ms. was a consummate professional - she treated me like a VIP, she was compassionate, kind, and understanding. Ms *** explained to me that the results of my purchase of the ECP protection was not typical and that the dealership may be mistaken. She researched my warranty and verified that my vehicle was covered and then laid out the plan to resolve my issue. She presented to me several options I could choose to get my claim started. I asked how long it would take to get the process started and she assured me that within three business days of receipt of my claim, the company would send a mobile team to my location to fix the interior and make arrangements for the exterior to be taken care of. In today's world of "It's all about me" and poor customer service, it was refreshing to deal with a true professional who really cares about the customer. Ms. displayed personal integrity, business morals and ethics; all of which a customer service representative should. If the company backs Ms. promises - then she and the company need to be emulated by all other companies and customer service representatives. Thank you Ms., you are a true ambassador for ECP Plus and demonstrate rare morals, ethics, and integrity - in business and in dealing with your customers! Thus far in the process - Customer Service is 5-Star; if the business backs their customer service reps, they too will be 5-Star.

ECP Incorporated Interior Coating

I purchased the ECP interior coating when I bought my Toyota because their normal lifetime is 10 to 20 years. The coating is a fraud as advertised that performs less well than Scothguard and creates gory water stains on the car seats that are impossible to clean because even Wooliite creats stains, and ECP both doesn't refill their cleaner or provide cleaning information for the damage they have done to a car with an otherwise 10 to 20 year lifetime they have reduced to length of their warranty. At which time they permanently trash the inside of the car. The stains slowly boil off an interior temperatures of hot sun in the summer of over 115 degrees and otherwise and during simply accumulate all over the car seats. including from rain. I am not able to get cleaning information from ECP at all. They do not refill the interior cleaner that also does that kind of damage most of the time. The interior seat coating is much worse than fraud.

Desired outcome: I need cleaning information for the water stains ECP has created on the car permanently. I would like the coating removed if possible. If not, a full refund and damages for permanent professional cleaning multiple times a year.

Also as a warning to refuse the interior coating from ECP, the dispute is so far gone on their end that when you ask the question how to clean the seats, the response has become repetitive harassment of 'the warranty expired" while they were harassing victims about repairing their problems created with water stains. They refused to state how victims can clean the car seats because everything there is identified will make the car seats stain with water to the point of junking the car per any car value calculation method the persons have to be aware of and are selling fraud about that hard cold fact about victims cars. Raising resentment where we can't even sell the cars because of the interior coating required disclosure than can get people sued on junk value car sales. The harassment about how to clean the seats which is an ongoing forever past the warranty coverage for the 10 to 20 year lifetime cars, is this belligerent and extreme.

Update by Anon9951
Sep 20, 2023 2:10 am EDT

There also needs to be a warning to refuse their interior coating because it destroys cars with lifetime longer than their warranty, that the refusal to state how to clean the car seats after their coating is applied has persisted like this and been allowed by BBB, and the AG of Illinois. There is nothing victims can do. They malicously junk our cars also per anybody's estimated remaining value drop on the car resulting from doing this to the seats.

Update by Anon9951
Sep 20, 2023 1:49 am EDT

I should add that this is what ECP has been like since the final year of the warranty. They have refused any information on this issue. The car seats would have to be replaced to be made whole and even high quality seat covers cost hundreds of dollars, as can periodic professional removal of the stains ECP's coating creates on the car, that slowly boil off at temperatures over 120 F but not otherwise, and sometimes start to vacumn a little. As some kind of precipitate caused when their coating hits water. Water is an impossible to avoid item for any car, and this kind of a problem is a complete fraud. So is the complete refusal to provide any information on how victims can clean the seats and remove the stains. The car value per most sites has been destroyed by destroying the seats for that purpose. Its humliating to cope with. They play games with people about water which is impossible to avoid including when opening a car door. And will not answer that question per the very poor to malicious customer service the last year of the warranty when I tried to get this all taken care of before it expired.

I purchased my Jeep compass new in 2015 from Courtesy, at that time purchased a warranty with *** Chemical for rust protection. Within that contract it states if rust develops and there is perforation involved it is the companies responsibility for coverage. At this time I have perforation on the hood and hatch of my vehicle which I noticed end of March. I met with a representative from the company a week later and got quotes to repair/replace the damage. The company sent a message back and at this time is denying my claim for replacement of the hood and hatch even though the damage is clearly within the coverage of my contract. I have attached the denial letter along with the photos that states the claim is being denied as it was determined the rust was surface rust condition and no perforation was present even though the pictures provided demonstrate there is perforation present.

I purchased additional car insurance which would cover the replacement of one of my keyless remotes. When I called to make a claim, I was told that the policy cannot cover my replacement because I lost the fob more than 90 days ago. I was never told there were any time limits. I don't see how it matters when I call for a replacement. I lost the fob, I paid for the replacement insurance.

I tried to summit a claim in October on the Auto Armor warranty that I purchased when buying a Lexus from Off Lease Only in Orlando, Fl. The warranty is good for 7 yrs after the application of their product and will fix or replace the interior of the car. It covers UV rays, cracking and rips and tears less than 6 inches long. I called the company and was informed to send pictures of the damage. Within a few minutes I received an answer that they would not cover the damage because it was due to age. I replied back that I was within the 7 years that the warranty covered and the vehicle met their new car criteria when it was purchased. I also told them that the back seats where not in that condition and had no rips in them. The damage shown in the pictures of the seat in the Lexus was due to UV rays and use, both of which the warranty covers. They just replied back that it would not be covered.

ECP Incorporated Purchased for our vehicle that we purchased back in October

Purchased for our vehicle that we purchased back in October. The quality of the application was horrible. Very streaky, blotchy. Didnt think much of it. Have never filed a claim. Inherited a vehicle from a family member and Im in a situation as to where I need to sell our vehicle in which we had this applied. The customer service lady I talked to about getting it canceled and getting a refund was extremely rude. Wouldnt let me talk to someone on the phone about getting this taken care of but they only handle this through email? Have yet to hear back regarding my matter. Additionally she kept putting me on hold as she had other callers. Was very very rude. I buy new vehicles all the time and would like to give this company another shot. However in order to achieve my loyalty to ECP/Auto Armor they need to A) stand behind their product (its $1000.00) and B) if the vehicle is sold simply refund the customer for the portion of the warranty that hadnt been used.

I have a 2017 VW Golf Wolfsburg Edition, I bought it new, currently has29,000 miles on it. The sale person sold me this "amazing" protection package as I want to keep this car for a long time and even give it to my son. I was told this was really good coverage for the interior and especially for exterior UV protection issues. ---So now I have UV damage to a small panel in front of my sun roof. I'm guessing a body shop would sand and fix it for @ $250-300. But hey I have this great warrant so I will file a claim. Well guess, what? Like so many other I have read a bout, they denied my claim. Yada, yada, double talk, quoting stuff, etc, they don't want to help me. I asked for a prorated refund as my policy is still in force for a while and they denied that too. So they took my money and no service and no refund? I feel like Ive been robbed. So many companies just taking advantage of hard working people these days. I'm sick of it! Stay far away from the horrible company!

On 12/03 I purchased a 2013 Frontier from Hill Nissan Inc 6401 Cypress Gardens Blvd, SE, Winter Haven, FL. I paid $899.00 for protection of the exterior paint. I was only given a pamphlet showing ECP Inc The Protector but no other documentation. I sent ECP pictures of corrosion on exterior paint on April 7 the date I filed a complaint. I called ECP on April 8 and was told to leave a message for Jeana. No response. On April 9, I left a message for Liz the manager. As of April 13, no response. All previous claims have been completely ignored by ECP.

With the purchase of a new car, I also purchased an add-on warranty, that among other things, pays for repairs in the event that my leather seats should rip or tear. Quote from contract "leather/Vinyl system become damaged ... rips & tears... the manufacturer will pay for repair..." Full contract and pics included in complaint. The manufacturer denied my claim by classifying the rips/tears as "cracks" not covered under the contract. No definition or explanation of what is considered a crack versus a tear or rip within the contract. Separately and in another area of the seat, the leather seat has a tear along one of the stitched seams. Despite no mention within the contract that the rip or tear warranty does not cover seams, the response back from the company is that the warranty does not cover seams. The company called a repair service out to repair the seat. The repair company hired by the company stated a repair would not last and that the seat cover needs to be replaced.

On 6/18/22 we had a rain storm and my vehicle was covered in sap so on 6/20/22 my husband contacted the *** and filed a claim for sap damage on the exterior of the vehicle. The following day they denied the claim due to the damage being old. So I double checked the paperwork submitted and saw that my husband incorrectly filled out the paper work. He put the year of the vehicle(2021) where they were asking for the year the damage occurred. I contacted the business to let them know of this paperwork mistake and they requested pictures so I sent them the photos requested along with as explanation of the confusion. Today they sent an email saying they are sticking by the original decision that the damage is old. I own a 2021 4Runner which I paid $53,000 for; why would I want to drive around in a vehicle literally covered in sap for 6+ months? I have way more pride in the vehicles I drive and wash my car weekly. Why would I have paid $995.00 for a service that I can not even use?

ECP Incorporated When we purchased our travel trailer, we chose to purchase a protective coating for the exterior as well

When we purchased our travel trailer, we chose to purchase a protective coating for the exterior as well. The dealer showed us brochures for this product and since a travel trailer is intended for outdoor use, we thought the added UV protection would be a good investment. Recently we noticed that there was some peeling and flaking occurring on the side of the trailer that is exposed to the most sun. When I submitted a claim to Entire Car Protection, they responded, denying our claim, saying that the damage was not caused by UV but rather that the decals were failing. I personally worked in the coating industry for over 9 years and have a good understanding of what UV damage to a coating looks like. When I explained that to them and offered to take it to any shop they wanted for a second opinion, they said they would review and get back to me. I've now been waiting for a response for over two months. I would warn those considering this product, they will likely not honor the warranty.

I purchased the Auto Armor product from my dealer; I have taken every method available to care for my vehicle, including the continued use of the upkeep products provided after application. There are three tears on the outside of the driver's side front seat in my 2016 Nissan Juke. I filed a claim with ECP including multiple photos of the damage. Just over a week later I get an email stating they have preauthorized payment of the claim and are sending a tech out to complete the repairs. About a week later, the tech looks and says, "because of the location and orientation of the tears, he cannot repair it, the seat will have to be reupholstered." Ok, emailed ECP...I get an email more than a week later saying the claim has been denied and that the damage is classified as 'interior surface cracking.' Well, that's hocum because the vinyl around the tears is perfectly supple and you can even see slight fraying around the edges of the tears. The representative even went as far as saying they received no photos of the damage until the tech came out. This is ridiculous and bad faith claims handling. I am pursuing this with my dealer, but this needs to be handled with ECP. Oh, and good luck getting someone on the phone, even after you've left messages!

ECP Incorporated Car has either bird dropping or tree sap damage as well as UV sun damage which is covered by the contract I purchased

Car has either bird dropping or tree sap damage as well as UV sun damage which is covered by the contract I purchased. The sun damage is the main issue where I realized the car needs to be painted and was showing sun damage when I first contacted ECP and then pictures of the other damage that occurred on top of that. Yet ECP sends an unqualified car inspector to provide false information of what is on the car claiming its cement like substance when my car has never been in the line of any such damage. They have resorted to falsely using this information to decline a valid claim where the mechanic and other credible sources and the photos clearly show it is either bird dropping or tree sap along with UV sun damage. Even the dealership where I purchased car and ECP agrees it should be covered. I have tried multiple occasions to escalate to a manager at ECP and the last email by Gina Henriksen indicated she would escalate to manager there and she refused to reply back after that. Liz Swanson refuses to call me back after leaving multiple messages, possibly 12 times at this point, and she is the only manager there to speak with. It was painted for sun damage by ECP of the hood only and the company refuses to paint the entire car which had also been sun damaged

ECP Incorporated I purchased the vehicle protection package when I bought a new truck

I purchased the vehicle protection package when I bought a new truck. I was told by the salesman that any scratch in exterior or any issue in interior would be covered. I later realized that scratches would not be covered after trying to file a claim. This was my own fault for not reading fine print. I also tried to make a claim for interior damage to my vehicle, one seat has a tear from my dog, the center console has a tear from moving a rifle in the truck, and the center console has cracks from UV rays. These issues are specifically covered in my contract and my claim was denied. Once I sent a very detailed email on how everything should be covered and asked for a refund they agreed to fix only the center console tear and I was supposed to be contacted by a separate business; Dr. Vinyl. I responded later that I had already asked for a refund and asked management to contact me within two business days. I was told 2 business days later that management would contact me shortly. It has now been almost 4 full business days since I emailed asking to be contacted by management and have not received any further info. I have saved the entire email string to show how they have not fulfilled their end of the contract. ECP makes it impossible to file a claim and will find any tiny loophole to get out of fixing any issue you have.

ECP Incorporated I purchased an Environmental warranty from this company $1,199.00

I purchased an Environmental warranty from this company $1,199.00. This warranty stated it covered ***, tears, blood, etc., for interior and scratches, film over the headlights, etc. I was also informed that it would prevent the fading and cracking of my leather seats. I learned that *** went out of business. I sought a refund of the money paid for this warranty. I was informed by a representative of this company that they would honor in accordance to the terms of the warranty. I disagreed and felt that this was a ploy for them to just keep my money, but I would not receive any type of service. The representative assured me that this would not be the case and that they would honor the contract in accordance to the terms of the warranty. When I purchased the vehicle from *** of *** Spring, the dealership had to keep the car for a day or so, because they were treating the car with the environmental protection the car both inside and outside of my vehicle was treated to their environmental protection package. Although I do not smoke in my car, my cellphone was inside of my car while I was standing outside smoking. When I reached in with my left hand, my right hand rolled against the seat and the ashes spilled down the seat causing it to burn the leather. I submitted the claim today for the issue I accordance to the terms of the warranty and my claim was denied. It is exactly as what I thought when I tried in the beginning to just get my refund back. I paid out $1,199 for nothing, it is my belief that I was suckered out of my money and need assistance in having it returned to me.

ECP Incorporated I purchased my 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck in January from the Sun Auto Warehouse in Cortland, NY

I purchased my 2013 Chevrolet Silverado pickup truck in January from the Sun Auto Warehouse in Cortland, NY. It had 30,105 miles at the time of the sale. As part of the sale, I purchased ECP (Auto Armor) undercoating that was applied on 1/19, with a six (6) year rust through warranty (contract 3018735). I was reluctant to have undercoating sprayed on a used vehicle, but they assured me it would protect the truck. The following spring I noticed some surface rust on the frame, so in April , I had it resprayed with the Auto Armor product. I then had it resprayed AGAIN in the summer/fall of 2017 at Garage on Delaware, Cortland, NY. On 1/21, my NYS safety inspection failed due to serious frame rust through. Although the Auto Armor warranty expired on 1/19, two (2) days before the discovery, this rust through of heavy frame steel clearly happened while it was still under warranty. In addition to the rust through, the overall poor condition of the frame due to rust and considering that the truck only has 50,000~ miles, replacing the frame with a used southern frame (or a new frame) at a cost of around $6,000-$7,500~ is my only real option. I immediately submitted a claim to ECP online on 1/21 but it was denied, as communicated to me in e-mail by Gina *** of ECP on 1/25. I asked for a claim denial appeal adding the above facts. The truck was sprayed three (3) times and the protection failed miserably and even though the damage was discovered two (2) days after the warranty period ended, obviously the rust through damage to heavy frame steel occurred well within the warranty period. I was informed by Gina *** on 2/11 of ECP that my claim denial appeal had also been denied.

ECP Incorporated My husband, Dale, bought a rustproofing warranty for his new 2013 F150 from Great Lakes Chemical

My husband, Dale, purchased a rustproofing warranty through Great Lakes Chemical for his new 2013 F150. He was meticulous in keeping the vehicle clean and taking it in twice a year to have the paint sealant applied. He noticed in March some rust on the rocker panels, both sides with perforation and contacted Rick at Great Lakes Chemical. At that time all businesses shut down due to Covid. On May 7 my husband passed away very unexpectedly. My daughter, Jeni, was trying to help me out and we made contact with Mr. Rick on August 25. On Sept. 2nd, we took the truck to the Grand Rapids location of Great Lakes Chemical so Rick could take pictures and inspect the damage. Jeni took the truck to Car Center Body Shop on Sept. 9th to get an estimate and have them take pictures to get the warranty process started. Rick contacted me on Oct. 26 apologizing that the warranty company required additional pictures. I met him on Oct. 28 so he could take additional pictures. The warranty company denied the claim by Nov. 3rd and emailed the letter to Rick who then notified us. I never received the denial letter in the mail. They claim my husband failed to regularly inspect the vehicle which is totally untrue. Great Lakes Company has a record of all the times he had brought the truck in. The warranty company also claims my husband did not file a claim within 60 days of the occurrence of the covered damage which is also untrue because he tried and everything was shut down because of Covid. Please note that the spelling of our last name on the original warranty paperwork from Borgman is incorrectly typed as 'Fichenberg'. This should have no bearing on this claim. The Warranty number is J802542.

ECP Incorporated First of all this company is called different names such IBEX OR PREMIER PROTECTION OR ENTIRE CAR PROTECTION which is very shady

First of all this company is called different names such IBEX OR PREMIER PROTECTION OR ENTIRE CAR PROTECTION which is very shady. I recently bought a new car 2020 Honda Accord with this paint and interior protection from Spring Branch Honda. My Honda sales rep, Jay Truong said this protection was added to all their honda cards and there is an extra charge. He said that if my car's paint will every be discolored or fading or have any stains in the interior, it will be covered under this company. Upon 3 months of owning a vehicle, i notice there was a discoloration spot on the rear door.. It looks like the paint was fading due to the environmental effects. Upon looking at warranty contract agreement with this company, it says " THE BASIC ENVIRONMENT PAINT PROTECTION IS WARRANTIED TO PROTECT TREATED FACTORY PAINTED SURFACES OF VEHICLE AGAINST DAMAGE FROM WEATHER INDUCE FADING, WEATHER INDUCE CHALKING AND WEATHER INDUCE LOSS OF GLOSS". Considering the spot of my car looks like it was caused by an environmental effects from the environment, this is the reason why its discolored. I submitted a claim and Gina Henriksen was assign as my claims processor. She indicated that the claim was decline because it wasn't cause by those factors. HOWEVER, there was no details or testing done to prove that statement. It was just an assumption that they got from a body shop who only knows how calculate repairs for cars. I requested to speak to a claims manager and spoke to manager named LIZ. She did NOT provide any details why the claims was decline. She only sad that the guy at body shop guess or assume it was caused by something else. After talking to her on the phone, SHE DISCONNECTED THE CALL without me finishing asking questions. This was very unprofessional and i tried to call her back but she did not answer her phone. THIS COMPANY HAS NUMEROUS COMPLAINTS ABOUT HOW THEY ARE ALWAYS REJECTING THE CLAIM WHICH LEADS ME TO BELIEVE THAT THIS IS A SCAM TO FOOL CUSTOMERS BUYING THIS
