carlson toyota is the worst place to buy a car. the staff is so rude, especially carrie. they always talk down to me and give me the wrong information. i've had so many bad experiences and they never try to make it right. i wouldn't recommend this place to anyone. they clearly don't care about their customers. 0 stars.

Carlson Toyota took our car for service. It was STOLEN overnight from their lot. They ain't done nothing to help us. They said their insurance won't cover this theft. They said we gotta report it stolen even though it was stolen from their property. And their service manager said they ain't got no cameras or security to keep vehicles safe on their lot. Our car got stolen from their place and they ain't doing NOTHING.

I buyed a car from Carlson Toyota on October 9th and got an extended warranty. But now it's December 21st and I still ain't got my contract. Toyota told me that they ain't got my purchase registered so they can't give me the contract. Me and Toyota tried to fix it with Carlson Toyota but they ain't answering the phone.

Nick Nystul said I had to fill out a form with my info, but it wouldn't hurt my credit. I thought it was weird, but he said it was normal. Later, I saw they did a hard pull on my credit. We talked to the boss, but he just said Nick was new and they don't do hard pulls for test drives. They didn't fix it.

I put $500 down on a car at Carlson Toyota on 4/16. They couldn't get the car I wanted, but the sales guy acted like they could, so I missed out on another car I wanted. I found a car I liked and drove 4 1/2 hours to get it. I told the sales guy at Carlson I wanted my money back on 5/13. He said it wouldn't be a problem, but I still haven't gotten my money back. I called and left messages for sales managers and emailed them, but no one has gotten back to me. I'm a disabled vet and a DoD employee on leave between jobs in Germany and New Mexico. I'm busy with a move and shouldn't have to deal with a dealer who won't even talk to me or give me my money back.

I got my car from Carlson Toyota on April 9th, 2022. But by the end of June, I noticed the engine was jolting. So, I took it to Carlson Toyota on July 6th, and they said it was normal. But a local mechanic checked it out 12 hours later and found out that my Equinox has an issue with burning too much oil. The mechanic had to put 3.5 quarts of oil in the engine, and I wasn't even due for the first oil change. According to my warranty, Carlson Toyota sold me a certified used car, but they didn't disclose the oil consumption issue. It would cost over $5,000 to fix the problem, and there's no guarantee that the warranty would cover it. I have twin infants, and I trusted Carlson Toyota to sell me a safe car for my babies. If I hadn't taken it to a different place, something terrible could have happened. I've been trying to contact Carlson Toyota for weeks, but no one has gotten back to me.

I got a 2018 Toyota 4 runner from C Toyota and it's got 44000 miles on it now. There's a high pitch whine in the front differential that we've taken to C Toyota and they've noted it 5 times since we bought it new. The last time was this week, August 31. The service manager heard the whine and said they'd fix it under the 60000 mile warranty. They heard the noise and put in a new part they thought was making the noise. But the new part didn't fix the problem. The service manager called the field area advisory technician to ask how to fix the differential problem. The service manager was told there's no fix because it's all wheel drive and it's going to have the high pitch whine. They won't fix the vehicle with a known high pitch whine problem, even though it's under warranty for the drive train. They said we'd just have to deal with it. The noise is not tolerable and the service manager confirmed the whine is present. C Toyota needs to fix this known problem that's under warranty, whether it takes putting in a new transmission or whatever it takes. Being told we have to live with it is not an answer a car dealership should be telling a customer, especially when the repair is under warranty.
