Carolina Ale House review: Service/food

July 17, 2021 I went to Carolina Ale House located on 150 Hanes Mall Circle in Winston Salem, NC to celebrate my birthday. It was horrible! The hostess was rude and unprofessional. We requested a table for five and was seated at a booth. We requested to have the booth across from us cleaned, due to trash and food under the table and she responded"you can tell your server to accommodate your needs, that's not my job." So, when the server arrived he relocated us to a table to accommodate us. He was extremely polite and professional. We filed a complaint with the General Manger George who apologized on her behalf. He was professional and sincere also. However, the food was horrible. We waited for almost 30 minutes before it arrived. We ordered fried pickles, wings, grilled chicken salad and fish and chips. The food was horrible, so greasy we had to use napkins to eliminate some of the grease off of it. The chicken strips was over cooked on the salad. The fried pickles was so greasy and soggy. I was ridiculous to spend over 100.00 including the tip and didn't enjoy the food. I will NEVER recommend this establishment to ANYONE. We wasted funds on this establishment. I'm requesting a refund, we deserve a refund. I challenge the Corporate Office to eat at their establishment undetected, you will be SHOCKED...
