Excellent customer service
I purchased seat heater pads for my classic Silverado. Parts description says "direct fit replacement" and Q&A states the pads are for both driver and passenger side. In fact, the wiring and the pre-placed adhesive only works for the passenger side seats (the wiring should go towards the center console). If I adhered the pad to my driver seat as manufactured, the wiring would be too short. I extended the wires to make it work for me, but for someone looking to remove and replace it's more than what they should do. I wrote a review on the product page at carparts.com and they immediately reached out to me to clarify the issue and see what they could do to help. After explaining what I did to make the pad work they sent a small refund for my trouble because of the inaccurate parts description. I'm appreciative of the responsive correspondence and friendly customer service and I was happy that they took my review seriously.

My elderly neighbor backed into my driveway hitting my new car and damaging my side fender. I immediately went online looking for a reasonable priced fender I could afford and came across this website which had the fender i was looking for. I was a bit skeptical because the price was so dirt cheap compared to what I know my dealer would've charged for it, needless to say I ordered the fender on a late Sunday night, Monday morning I received a phone call from a very knowledgeable representative who wanted to make sure the part I ordered online the night before was indeed the correct part and thank god he called because I had ordered the wrong part, he walked through step by step until we got the correct part ordered and by Wednesday morning my fender was at my front door and my car was in and out the shop by Friday afternoon. Everything was advertised and if i ever need any automotive parts again they are my first and only choice. Thanks again

Rosalie from customer care service was great, I had a small problem with my order #*** header panel with grill it was missing the grill clip and stud nuts for the emblem (not a huge deal) but I wrote a review on my pros and cons about the product and within a couple hours of posting it Rosalie had gotten a hold of me trying to figure out how to make it right. They couldn't send the parts that were supposed to come with the product in the first place but I was offered a code for so much off my next order. ( I have no problem with that). This is the first time I've ever used carparts.com and for them to reach out like that and that fast to try and make it right is an A++ online business in my book. So in my honest opinion if they are willing to do whatever it takes to try and make things right will definitely get my business again.

I bought a fan for my car's HVAC system about a year ago. When the part arrived the plastic fan was slightly cracked. Instead of going through the hassle to return the part I went ahead and put in in my car thinking it was not that bad and would probably be OK. Unfortunately at the highest speed there is a slight, but annoying vibration undoubtedly due to the small crack. I kept the fan in the car as it's very difficult job to replace. I wrote a review about a year later mostly to warn people if they have a cracked fan not to be lazy like me and instead go through the trouble to return it. Within hours carparts.com contacted me via email and offered a $10 refund. I did not ask or expect the refund since it was my laziness for not returning the part plus it had been almost a year. In these times it's rare to get that type of customer service. Carparts.com turned me from an occasional to a loyal customer with a mere $10 investment because it gave me confidence they will take care of me if there is ever a bigger issue. Bravo!
Headlight replacement w/ customer advocate reaching out and making things right!
I had a headlight that was smashed into pieces after someone vandalized my car. As usual, I jumped online and went straight to CarParts.com and ordered the replacement part at a great price and it was at my door within 3 days.
Upon installing the headlight I became aware that 1 of the 3 mounting pieces of plastic was broken off and an attachment point for the grill was smashed. I was able to use some glue to fix the smashed point for attacking the grill, allowing me to complete the install and am satisfied with the results. I did leave a comment on CarParts.com, mentioning the broken mounting part and the following day an customer advocate named Paul reached out to me to see how he could make things right. Seeing how I had already installed the part and am happy with the application as a whole, I wasn't interested in receiving a new part. Paul graciously extended some other options that I gladly accepted. TBH I was appreciative that anyone even reached out to me. So anything else was just awesome and I can't thank them enough!
I continue to be a happy customer and will refer others to them in the years to come.
Efficient, Patient, and Kind
I have ordered from Carparts several times, and have always had a great experience. The last time I ordered, I accidentally ordered the wrong part. I immediately completed the "return" form and was immediately approved for a refund. When I checked my bank account, I didn't see where I'd been refunded, so I called Carparts. They assured me that I had indeed been refunded, gave me the Payment ID, and told me to call back if I still didn't see it. Long story short, I ended up calling back 2 more times. Each time they were SOOOO patient and kind, even though they knew they had already fulfilled what they needed to on their end. I even emailed them a few times, and was always responded to in an extremely prompt manner?something that doesn't usually happen with businesses in today's fast paced society. At one point, I was even emailed a screenshot of the actual refund transaction. Carparts Customer Service went above and beyond for me, even when they didn't have to because, as it turned out, the refund had already been in my account for over 2 weeks! For both their patience and kindness (and always their great products) I am forever grateful.

So I'm at work and I receive a phone call. Looking at the caller ID it says "Carparts.com". I figure it's going to be a marketing call but pick up anyway. Unbeknownst to me it's Bry, one of carparts.coms "Customer Service Advocates". He's calling me to issue me a refund on a recent purchase I had made. I had ordered a front bumper for my commuter car that looked great but upon closer inspection had what appeared to be flex/stress cracks close to where the corner of the headlights meet the bumper. Not wanting to go through the hassle of trying to ship the bumper back I chose to install it anyway. So getting a call for a refund was a pleasant surprise. The fact that Carparts took the time to read my initial post about the bumper and the very minor problems that came with it and their willingness to reach out and want to make up for it shows what kind of company you are dealing with. 100% awesome company to buy any of your car parts from and great customer service. They definitely have shown me that they appreciate and want to earn my business. Will undoubtedly make any future purchases through Carparts.com with no hesitation. Outstanding Customer Service!
Although the part I ordered didn't work out for me, customer service the whole time exceeded my expectations! Was notified when my order shipped, and when I first tracked the package, it gave me a delivery date. Went to track it the next day, and now shows "Delivery Date Pending". I call customer service to get an update, and because I ordered around the holidays, they said the carriers are really backed up and refunded me the shipping costs for inconvenience even though it was not their fault since the package was already in FedEx's hands. The next day I tracked it, and a delivery date was posted and arrived on the day it said. Order was correct, everything was included, a few days later I took it to a mechanic to get the part installed. About 1 week later, the part goes bad, ordered the same part, but on a different website, that part ended up working out for me, and now I have to return the part I ordered from carparts. Called to request a return, provided me with a return shipping label with clear instructions, returned the part, arrived back to the warehouse on time, and got my refund a few days later. It's nice how they have legit people working for customer service and not bots. Overall, customer service made this frustrating situation go smoothly, A+
Refund conflict
I had returned two axles for the Case # ***: HD-***/About my Order Number: ***
I had received the wrong hub assemblies and axles for my car. I was told they where a Guaranteed match for my vehicle and they where not. The mechanic went to put the axles and wheel barrings on my vehicle and they where not for my car. He purchased the wheel barrings from me because they matched a other vehicle he was fixing in his shop but the axles I sent back over a month ago. I called today after waiting a month an no refund and I was told the wherehouse did not get my parts back and I wasn't going to get a refund. I then asked for a supervisor. I was transferred to bry who than assisted me. He escalated the problem with the wherehouse and they are still saying I didn't return both parts but when you look at my shipping receipt it notes the weight of two products not just one. Bry took care of my refund and had it processed the day I called in even after the investigation was still saying rhwy couldn't find the other part he could clearly see the shipping weight was for two product not just one product. He was very helpful, spoke English, very responsive and helpful! The first woman pretty much told me there was nothing they could do even with my proof of return that I had. I'm very excited to have had bry help me out with this conflict and him take care of it in a timely manner!

Bought set of Bushwacker extend-a-fender flares for my second generation dodge Ram and installed rears first and fit perfectly fronts extend into door over an inch. Contacted customer support and they will not accept only the front but will not accept they rears if they have been modified. Their website said they fit but they do not. Apparently I am stuck with a $230 POS that does me no good. Be careful when ordering a set as you might get stuck with something the will not fit. Will not be doing anymore business with them. Good luck to all. By the way *** also says they fit my truck. Fender at narrowest is 2-1/2 fender flare measures over 3-1/2 which makes it extend into door.

Well now after seeing all the negative reviews I have the opposite to say. It took longer then said to get to me and that the items would come in separate packages so after 10 days the first sideview mirror arrived. I was like missing the other mirror! I called customer service and everything was cleared up in a couple of minutes. The other mirror came two days later. I believe I was extremely lucky and I'm happy that happened. I got two quality parts for a very good price. The only issue was waiting longer.

This is a bad parts company. I purchased a head gasket set after reading good reviews on it. I got the gasket set and they were of bad quality and after taking whole engine apart and using it it leaked. I then did a review and they didnt put it up and also cleared my purchase history so it says I never bought anything.

Waited day before it was to be delivered and was told the item is through a 3rd party made to order and would take another Month to receive. Sorry to say they had the same manufacture defect. I applied for an RMA and immediately received emails that kept me informed and provided the necessary resources for me to return all defective parts and receive a full refund. The carrier had terrible customer service, but the representative at the company did everything in her power to make everything right. She refunded my shipping cost and I received a discount, good till the end of year. She will investigate the carrier and find out their problem. This place is AMAZING! I needed a new passenger *** mirror for 2009 Nisson Xterra. The body shop gave me a quote for $465.00, and only $110 was for labor, so I went online and searched for them mirror and found it for less than $40.00. I called the body shop and asked if they would install if I purchased it myself and they said YES. Then he asked where I got it and I told him. It worked out GREAT! I only had to pay $100 for labor. ALSO... I needed it in a hurry because we were going on a road trip and I received it within 2 days. The Body shop said the mirror worked our perfect. I think he was surprised how I found it with such a good deal.

It was fast and easy to place my order and they except Pay Pal which made it extremely easy and I fill 100% safe. 2 business days later it is delivered by Fed Ex. Upon opening I noticed the tank apparently fallen landing on the seam of the tank distorting the seam. I called CarParts.com, Inc. and the customer service was outstanding, I was not expecting for them to send out a new tank and disregard the old one. The sale online went without issue and prior to submitting the purchase on line i received confirmation that the parts were in stock and would be shipped immediately. Total price $129.17. As soon as sale was completed i received a message telling me that the parts were not in stock and would take several weeks for the order to be fulfilled. I sent a cancellation by their website as i needed the parts immediately. Several days later i received a message telling me that the parts were shipped but the price was $64.59, the box was dropped on my door step. The box when opened was not what i ordered. I ordered the wrong part and put in a return and refund request. The email I received said 1-3 business days after the part is received by the warehouse. They received my return on 02/28 and keep telling me to just keep waiting on refund.
In November, I ordered an Outback compressor; however, due to an illness, I was not able to have it installed. When I went to my mechanic on February 9, 2023, he informed me that the compressor didn't fit my car. On that same day, I wrote an email to Carparts.com explaining what had transpired. The receipt date is November 3, 2022, and the 90-day return policy expired on February 3, 2023.
My request was for them to understand the circumstances; however, they offered me $30 in one email and $50 in another. The cost of the compressor was $178.49, with an additional $16 for shipping and $11.16 for taxes, totaling $205.65. I don't think that offering back $30 or $50 is fair when the total amount spent is $205.65. While I would like to get all my money back, I understand the situation; however, I don't believe that they were willing to work with me. As you can see, it was only a few days after the 90-day return policy ended, and there was the circumstance of my illness. They sent me the wrong item, and now as a retired woman on a limited income, I don't know what to do with the compressor.
Hello, I ordered car parts on Thursday of last week. When checking out I was prompted and asked if I wanted to expedite shipping so I paid for expedited shipping. I get a *** email stating that my package would be here on March 11. Coming to find out they dont do weekend shipping from the car parts site I guess according to them they stop on Fridays. I am requesting for my refund for the expedited shipping and shipping cost sense for one and a false advertised it to ripped me off of shipping money and theyre not even sending it to me on the right day, I didnt pay for one day shipping for it not to get to me in one day I am requesting for yall to figure out something with it because from previous reviews Ive seen that they are pain to deal with and I cant seem to get them on the phone ever Ive called three times and havent been able to get one person on the line. On April 10th, 2020, I ordered an A/C Compressor from your online website and paid a total of $371.93. Your return policy states a 90-Day Return Policy, accepting authorized returns within this period unless otherwise specified at the time of purchase, with conditions for the items to be unused and in original condition. However, when I submitted a Return Merchandise Authorization Request on July 18th, 2020, both online and by calling, my request was denied, stating that no returns are accepted after 30 calendar days. This contradicts the advertised 90-day return period, and I had not even opened the original packaging of the part. I paid for the product with my credit card, and I am seeking a full refund of $371.93. I initially sought to return the item because I found I did not need it. The denial of my return request, despite the product being in its original packaging and within the stated return period, seems like false advertising. On 2/28 I purchased a replacement taillight assembly for my truck and paid for overnight shipping. I have not yet received the part and when I tracked the package yesterday it still had not been sent to the carrier. Today when I checked the tracking information it says that the package is delayed. I contacted the company and they agreed to refund me $10, however I expressly needed and paid overnight delivery fees so that I could get my truck back on the road and have been unable to do so. If I knew I would have had to wait more than one day for the part I would not have paid for express shipping and or would have purchased the part elsewhere.
On February 14th I placed an order for 3 car parts. 2 fog lights and a brake kit that included pads and rotors. I did not need the brakes and 1 fog light anymore. I requested a return label. I sent them the items back. They only refunded me for the fog light not the brakes. The brakes cost $223.00 before tax. I chatted with them in regards to my refund for the brakes and they asked me to provide *** drop off receipt. I sent the receipt and they still have not sent my refund. They did receive the items back.
On march 4 2023 at 1 am in the morning while i was asleep car parts.com randomly charged me $107.46,I have contacted them but i have had no response whats so ever not even a email from them of what the random charge was for,only email i recieved was that my bank account has low funds.I seek for a refund quick.

Ordered a pair of headlights November 30 with delivery promised December 2. The delivery date was critical to my choice of vendors - I needed these after my car smoked the existing headlights.

See I purchased this mirror with the option of 2 day shipping to have it arrive by Friday 7-28-23 in the amount of 17 dollars & change however today I receive a email from Carparts.com that due to warehouses being backed up my order will not arrive until Monday 7-31-23 & although in a regular situation it would not matter much however I'm moving and I will no longer be at the address where It's being shipped. That was the whole point of 2 day shipping. I sent a message to shipping and all they did was apologise. I gotta ask, will carparts.com offer me a refund for the 2 day shipping that we agreed upon even though my order by monday will take 6 days to arrive? My other question is why do you bother offering 2 day shipping if your uncertain on delivery times? Why is it Monday, and not Saturday or Sunday for my order to get here? I have attached a screenshot of my order with 2-day shipping labeled with the price. I'm sorry but I think Carparts.com i is what's becoming typical in this country, where the customer used to be right is a thing of the past. Terrible Experience with CarParts.com: Unreliable, Unprofessional, and Unhelpful
This online shopping experience was the worst I've ever had! I was sold a part that they didn't even have in stock, but they still charged me for it. I had no idea until the part didn't show up. When I called to inquire about it, I was put on hold for at least an hour each time and transferred multiple times. I've lost count, but I think I've called them at least five times now. I'm currently on hold with them, and it's been 30 minutes and counting. I still haven't talked to a real person!
To make matters worse, they also sold me the wrong part. As soon as I received the email confirmation, I called them to correct the order. They told me that the order was canceled, and they would order the correct parts. However, the next day, I saw a charge on my credit card and received an email with the shipping information. I called them again, and they told me that the order had already been processed and shipped before I canceled, which was impossible. I believe they are scammers!
I have four boxes that I need to return, but they only sent me one RMA twice. I still haven't received the other three RMAs. It's frustrating because I want to return everything and be done with this terrible experience.
To add insult to injury, I received an email on October 7th stating that my order was on the way, and the estimated delivery date was September 30th. How is that even possible? It's like they don't even care about their customers.
When I asked about the replacement part, they couldn't tell me if it was in stock, when it would be shipped, or when it would be delivered. I finally gave up and told the representative that I wanted to return everything. She said she would send me all the RMAs, but nothing ever showed up.
Overall, I would not recommend CarParts.com to anyone. They are unreliable, unprofessional, and unhelpful. Save yourself the headache and shop somewhere else.
Disappointing Experience with CarParts.com and FedEx SurePost: Delayed Delivery and Damaged Parts
I put in an order for some car parts on CarParts.com about a week ago. They told me it would be here in two days, but when I checked the tracking four days later, I saw that it was sent through FedEx SurePost and it's still on the east coast somewhere. I don't know when it's going to get here. I'm never going to order from here or anyplace else that uses FedEx SurePost again. They're always terrible. If you don't believe me, just Google "FedEx SurePost sucks." There are almost as many one-star reviews as there are five-star reviews. That should tell you something.
UPDATE: I will say that CarParts.com reached out to me as soon as they saw my review and they processed a second order and shipped it next day. But that was still a week after I was supposed to get my original order, so it wasn't much help. It only earned them one extra star. To finish the story, the original part I ordered on May 27th and was supposed to get on May 31st finally arrived on June 8th. It was in really bad shape. Look at the picture below. The bottom line is that while the customer service team did a good job once they got involved, I still wouldn't order from here again. There are plenty of other places that get it right the first time. The packaging was terrible for a fragile item, and as far as I know, they're still going to use FedEx SurePost, which is a deal breaker for me. I also attached a copy of the FedEx tracking for the original package.

I had a really bad experience with CarParts. I bought something from them on December 4th, but for some reason, my item got lost. When I contacted them, they couldn't find my purchase in their system, and they couldn't even find my payment. They shipped my order whenever they felt like it, and they even added items to my order without my consent. It was a really unprofessional experience, and I wouldn't recommend them to anyone.
I hope I receive my item after the new year, but they told me it would take 7 to 10 business days, which is not what I signed up for. It's really disappointing because I was looking forward to using the item I bought, but now I'm not even sure if I'll get it.

I ordered a package deal of two brake lights, but they were mailed separately with two different tracking numbers. The driver side light was never even handed over to FedEx and was never mailed out.

I told him that I expected my light to show up or, if possible, for them to overnight me one. He said he had to ask his boss and came back to tell me that it was okay to overnight me one, and I should see it in two days. However, instead of receiving the light, I received an email with a refund.
I decided to purchase another light, but I found out that they were $32 each if you buy them separately. However, if you purchase them as a package deal, they are only $24 each, and this doesn't include credit card purchase fees. I called to file a complaint, and the woman I spoke to in customer service said she would send me a coupon to buy another one for $24. I thought everything was sorted out, but unfortunately, it wasn't. When I entered the coupon code, it was only for $1 off of the purchase. This was very disappointing and left a bad taste in my mouth.
Overall, I was not satisfied with my experience with CarParts. The missing light and the coupon issue were frustrating, and the customer service representatives didn't seem to be very helpful. This was my first and last time dealing with CarParts.com.

I contacted customer service and was told to give the courier time to update the tracking information.
Wednesday came and went, and the tracking information still showed that only a label had been created. I contacted customer service again, but was given the same response - to give the courier time to update. By Thursday, I was starting to get worried. The tracking information had not changed in three days and I still had not received my order. Once again, I contacted customer service and was told to be patient and that the courier had the package.
On Friday, I was still in the same situation. The tracking information had not changed and the courier was still waiting for the package to be given to them. At this point, I was frustrated and concerned. I had paid for expedited shipping and still had not received my order. I contacted customer service again and was told that they would investigate where my order was.
It is now Saturday and I still have not received my order. Customer service wants to do an investigation to see where it's at. I am disappointed that my concerns were not addressed four days ago when I first notified them that the tracking information had not changed. I have paid for a part that I have not received and have no information as to where the part is or when to expect it. So far, this has not been a good experience.
I will post an update once I know more about the situation.
CarParts: Shady Business Practices and Outrageous Fees - A Warning to All Consumers
So, I decided to give CarParts a try and ordered a part for my car. I paid with my trusty credit card and made sure to double-check the shipping and billing addresses, as I always do. A few hours later, I received an email notification that the payment for the part had been authorized, but to my surprise, the shipping address on the email was to another state. I was taken aback and immediately sent them an email and called Customer Service directly. Two days later, I received notification that the part had shipped, but still to the other state. I was confused and frustrated, so I traded a half-dozen or so emails with them, but they took the position that the address I gave them for my billing address was the one they used to FedEx it to me. That's impossible, because my credit card company won't authorize payment for a wrong billing address (I checked with my credit card fraud department, who verified this). So now the part is headed to another state, and I'm left scratching my head.
What I've been able to gather from the hundreds of other customers who filed complaints with the BBB is that CarParts does this quite frequently, then charges a whopping 69% "restocking" fee to send you the right one. That's outrageous! BTW, my part is out of stock/production at every other parts supplier, including the manufacturer, so I'm guessing CarParts doesn't even have my part, but would most likely substitute another part that isn't correct for my car and hit me with a couple of restocking fees. That's just plain wrong!
I would advise anyone to avoid this bunch like the plague. My bank said to call them back and cancel the payment when I finally decide what to do about this issue. Well, I've decided. I'm not going to take this lying down. I'm going to fight for my rights as a consumer and make sure that CarParts doesn't get away with this kind of shady business practices.

I've been "checking back in 2 days" every 4-5 days for a month now, and I still get the same answer.
I even requested to speak to a manager, but I got the same lame response, except this time with a pathetically childish "It can be incredibly frustrating when things don't go as smoothly as we would like." At this point, I'm starting to think I'm dealing with a dumb computer program and I have zero faith that I will ever get a refund. I'm really disappointed with carparts.com and I don't think I'll ever do business with them again. And trust me, I buy LOTS of car parts. So, if you're thinking about buying from them, BEWARE!

I ordered a part from CarParts and they said it would be here on 6/2/22. But then they updated it to 6/3/22. I was excited to receive my part on 6/3/22, but then I received a text saying it would arrive the next day on 6/4/22. It's now 11 pm on 6/4/22 and guess what? NO PART! I'm so frustrated because tomorrow is Sunday and I know the part won't be delivered then. I'm hoping that I'll be lucky enough to receive the part on 6/6/22. This is ridiculous! This happened with my last order and they refunded my order and assured me that it was not how they operate and that they would look into the issue. But now they need to look into it again. I'm not going to give them a third chance. This is the last time they will screw me over.
What's the point of selling parts cheaper online if they can't even deliver them on time? This has definitely taught me a lesson. You get what you pay for. I'll go back to paying more at the local stores and leave with the part in hand instead of being screwed around about when a part will arrive. I'm taking this matter up with whoever I have to. I promise something will get done about this. I will definitely leave a bad report at the BBB about the poor service.
Do not waste your time with this company. It will only lead to disappointment and leave you holding the bag. You'll end up losing money having to give your customers discounts or free labor to make up for not having their vehicle ready when you say it should be ready. I been going back and forth with this company for weeks and it's been a real hassle! I was supposed to get 2 parts for my car, but only got one after a bunch of delays. I tried to reach out to the company and FedEx, as the carrier, but it didn't help much. Carparts.com has this policy that requires the carrier to return the package after 2 failed attempts. But I was home all day during both "attempted deliveries" and never heard anyone knock or drop a package. I checked the tracking information and FedEx listed my package as "refused by the recipient - return to sender." So, I tried to reach out to FedEx (who sucks and didn't do anything and didn't hold the driver accountable) and contacted Carparts.com who apologized and issued a replacement part to be sent. But, when I looked for the tracking info, I called the company and was told that the rep that I talked to never filed the replacement. I had to speak to someone else who ended up filing the replacement part order for me. Days went by and I never received that package either. When I checked the tracking information, the same issue arose. I called Carparts.com and told them to inform FedEx that they could hold the package and I would just come to pick it up. The representative told me that she would send an email with info when it was available and after checking today, the package was, indeed, sent back to Carparts.com. I am completely done and feel as though I wasted my time and money! I will contact my bank and advise anyone against ordering from this fraud company.
