Poor Experience with CB Reptile: Bearded Dragon Died Within Days of Arrival & Ignored Emails
I ain't too happy with CB Reptile 'bout the Bearded Dragon I got from 'em. Got 'im on June 5th and he died last night. He was real weak when he got here and wouldn't wake up much. Didn't really eat much 'n never drank no water. He was just a baby, so maybe sometimes things like this happen, but what bugs me is we sent 'em lots of emails talking 'bout how worried we were 'bout 'im. We even left our phone number and asked the dude for a call. But nope, all we got was an email telling us to leave 'im be and make sure he had water. We kept emailing, but didn't hear nothin' back and ended up takin' the little guy to the vet. The vet kept 'im for two days, but he was still too far gone and passed away last night from malnutrition. We only had 'im with us for two and a half days before we took 'im in and the vet said he was too skinny and his bones were frail 'cause he didn't have enough calcium. I see other good reviews 'bout CB Reptile, so why'd I get a sick Bearded Dragon sent to me? And why didn't nobody call me back like I asked? If we knew he wasn't supposed to act like that, we would've taken him to the vet sooner, and maybe there would've been more time to try and fix 'im up. Let's see if CB Reptile sticks to their guarantee.
Avoid CB Reptile: Unprofessional and Dishonest
Don't do business with CB Reptile, seriously you guys. I'm telling you this as a parent who tried to buy a chameleon for her 13 year old kid. Let me tell you what happened: first of all, they charged my credit card under my kid's name and information. I mean, what kind of company does that? Then, when I tried to email them about it as her parent, they totally ignored me and only replied to my kid. This went on for weeks, with them saying they were waiting for the breeders to send the little guy. But if that's the case, why did they charge my card so soon? They should've waited until the chameleon was actually sent out. I eventually got fed up and cancelled the order, but they didn't even bother to send me an email confirming that they refunded my card. I'm just hoping that the refund actually goes through. And don't believe their excuse about being too busy because they're a family-owned business. I own a clinic and I manage to respond to all my clients, no matter how busy I am. It's just common courtesy, you know? So, save yourself the trouble and buy from somewhere else, even if you have to pay extra. Trust me, it's worth it.
CB Reptile Review: Unprofessional Customer Service & Misleading Advertising
I recently ordered a Blue Male Axanthic Iguana from CB Reptile and to my surprise, I received a female instead. I tried to reach out to them regarding the issue but my comment on their Facebook page was deleted and I was blocked. Their 24-hour response customer service email turned out to be a complete joke. When I asked them to correct the problem, they just stopped responding. It seems that you will never know what sex you will get, as it is written in small print somewhere on their website - this is extremely unprofessional.
Their customer service is lacking, and if they cannot provide you with the gender of the animal you are ordering, then there should be no option to choose at all! I feel like I got scammed, and the animals I received don't look like what they advertised on their website. They claim to be shipping out the animals within 24 hours and overnight, but I ordered on a Friday and it didn't arrive until the following Wednesday. I tried to get in touch with someone to figure out what was going on in between but could not get a response. I only got an email on Wednesday the day it arrived.
After I told them I was unhappy about receiving a female instead of a male, they just referred me to their policy statement and ignored me after that. It seems like you can't reach anyone who runs the page directly, and they cannot show you exactly what they are shipping out. This is some really shady business right there!
Positive Review: Healthy and Beautiful Blue Axanthic Iguana from CB Reptile
I bought a male blue axanthic iguana from CB Reptile on August 26th, which was a Thursday. To my delight, they called me on August 31st and said they were sending him out that very day. I received my new pet on September 1st at about 10 am and he was alive and alert. I gently took him out of the bag and placed him in his new enclosure. He was calm and seemed to be checking out his new surroundings.
When I first laid eyes on him, I was blown away by his baby blue coloration. He was in excellent health with all his toes and a fully-intact tail. Right away, he headed to his water dish and appeared to be enjoying himself swimming around. He seemed to alternate between swimming and basking in the heat. It's been a week since I brought him home and he appears to be adapting well to his new environment.
Within 24 hours of arriving, he started eating, and he is loving the grated kabocha squash I've been feeding him. I also give him collard greens, green beans, grated parsnip, and bell peppers daily. Here and there, I offer various fruits and some alfalfa pellets, which I soak and crush for him. He is pooping regularly, which indicates he is eating well and is in good health.
I've been holding off on handling him until he gets used to his new enclosure and settles in. He hasn't tried to bite me yet, even though he did posture up and flare his dewlap at me when I got too close. A few days ago, he even tried to tail whip me, but he only did it once. So far, everything seems to be going well, and I'm happy with my purchase from CB Reptile.
Horrible Experience with CB Reptile: Poor Communication and Wrong Animal Delivered
Yo, don't bother buying from CB Reptile. Their communication straight up sucks. Like, I ordered a turtle on Saturday and their website said it would be delivered on Tuesday morning. So, I changed my work schedule to be home for the delivery. But come Monday afternoon, I hadn't heard nothing from them. I emailed, called, and even texted them but all I got was an automated text with a tracking number. Tuesday morning comes and still no updates on my package. I kept trying to reach them but they never answered until finally, someone said "oops, it didn't get sent out". Like seriously, no communication about any delays and I only found out through my relentless efforts.
When I finally got the turtle, it was not what I ordered. I was supposed to get a 4-month-old well started turtle but nah man, I got a brand new hatchling. And the turtle looked nothing like the photos on their website. It was so messed up, like they don't even care about the animals or the customer. This was the worst experience I've had as a customer.
I ain't gonna give them any more of my business and I highly suggest that you order from a company that cares about their animals. As for my new turtle, I'm gonna love it like crazy.
CB Reptile's Crocodile Skink: Mixed experience with shipping and customer service, but they made it right in the end
So, lemme tell ya, I was pretty skeptical about reading the reviews and stuff for CB Reptile 'cause people can be cheap sometimes, ya know? But, my boy wanted a crocodile skink and I said, "why not?" They sent it to us and I was so excited for my son to see his new pet. But when we got it, it was dead. I was so bummed out 'cause I don't like to see my boy upset like that. I've ordered turtles before and they've always been fine, so I don't know what happened with this one. The packaging was warm, but it was cold out, so maybe they didn't put enough air in it or it was too hot. Plus, FedEx was running a few hours late, which didn't help. I've had issues with FedEx before, no matter where I've lived. Anyways, they said they'd send another one when they had one available.
I waited a few weeks and didn't hear anything back, so I reached out to remind them. They sent one out next day, but it was in the same condition. I sent pictures and they said they'd send another one and if it didn't arrive they'd give me a refund. Honestly, I just wanted my money back but I figured I'd give 'em another shot. Plus, a couple of my emails got sent back to me saying they didn't exist or were full or something, so I thought it might be a scam. But, the third one finally arrived and it was in perfect condition! It was older than I was expecting, which was a bummer 'cause my son wanted to watch it grow up, but at least it was safe and healthy.
It took over two months to get it right, but I gotta give CB Reptile credit for their patience and effort to make it right. It wasn't the best experience but they did the best they could.

My experience with CB Reptile has been a bit of a rollercoaster ride. Don't get me wrong, I absolutely adore my new ambilobe male- he's a beautiful creature and very affectionate. However, I wasn't entirely happy with my purchase due to a few issues that I encountered.
Firstly, I requested a juvenile lizard that was supposed to be between 3.5-6 months old. What I received was a 7-month-old young adult! Although I still plan to keep him because he's so sweet, I was disappointed that they didn't inform me beforehand. When I checked out, I also requested a specific color combination (ybbb) but was told it was out of stock. However, when I checked the website, it didn't mention that the ybbb was out of stock. I was given a rbbb instead, which was acceptable, but frustrating.
Additionally, I purchased a mist king kit, but it was out of stock, and I wasn't informed until after I purchased it. When I inquired about overnight shipping, they only offered a 3-day shipping option. Now I don't have the misting system that could've made my little guy's transition easier, and who knows how long it'll be before it becomes available.
To add to my concerns, when my lizard arrived, the heating pack in his travel box wasn't very warm. It made me wonder how long he'd been waiting in the box before shipping.
Overall, I do love my new pet, but I wish CB Reptile would keep their website updated regarding out-of-stock items and provide accurate information regarding the type of pet that is being sold (age and color). Additionally, my review was taken down from their site, which is disappointing because I would've given them a review of three stars. Selling the five-star reviews only does a disservice to potential customers. As a result, I only give them two stars for my experience.
Poor Customer Service and Sick Chameleon from CB Reptile - A Disappointing Experience
So, I got this really cool chameleon from CB Reptile's website in August for $250 (with overnight shipping alreddy paid for), but da chameleon didn't arrive at my house until almost six weeks later even dough da website said it was in stock! I wuz so upset, I called, texted, emailed them so many times askin' about my order status and dey kept tellin' me that dey were havin' troubles with da breeder and dat it was gonna be a few more days. I was so mad that I asked for a refund and told 'em to keep their chameleon (cause I had already bought food and crickets for it), but then dey tell me dat dey found one and they quickly shipped it to me.
Da chameleon got delivered the next day. I was so excited to put it in its new home wit da perfect conditions I prepared. I even consulted a vet beforehand to make sure that I did everything right. Sad to say, da chameleon only lasted a week before it died. It wouldn't eat nor drink anythin', and it just slowly passed away. I was so upset that I called them to tell them what happened, but dey just didn't care! I mean, it was a sick chameleon and dey said it was healthy! Da way dey treated me wuz terrible. I wasted so much money on food and supplies for dat chameleon. Da worst part was dey didn't help me at all.
Overall, da customer service wuz terrible and I definitely would not recommend buyin' from dem. Find someone local so dat you can avoid those shipping concerns. Dey really need to improve the way they run things. I even filed a complaint with da Better Business Bureau because dey need to be shut down for how dey treat their customers.
Poor Health and Customer Service - CB Reptile Review
Listen up y'all, I gotta say that CB Reptile ain't the place for those of y'all searching for a chameleon or any other reptile! My experience with this place was a complete disaster.
Let's start with their customer support, or lack thereof. They took forever to reply to my questions and requests, which was super frustrating. And to top it off, they charged my card not once, not twice, but THREE times before fixing the issue. Not cool, CB Reptile, not cool.
Now, onto the live animals. I ordered two lil' chameleons, and let me tell ya, they were tiny - about the size of my pinky finger. I've been keeping chameleons for years, so I know what I'm doing. But these lil' guys were sick from the get-go! After six days, they were showing some concerning signs. They were sleepy all the time, not interested in their food, and just not very active. I did everything I could to keep 'em going, but unfortunately, I lost one of them after three weeks. The other one bounced back, thank goodness, but I still ain't happy with CB Reptile's treatment of their animals.
When I told CB Reptile about my concerns, they asked for information about their habits. But then, they told me I wasn't misting their habitat enough, even though I was following THEIR care sheet recommendations. I sent them an image of their recommendations and how I was following it to a T, but they completely ignored me!
Long story short, CB Reptile only cares about money, not the animals or their customers. If y'all are thinking about buying a reptile online, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT purchase from CB Reptile. I shoulda gone with Kammerflage Kreations, even though they were a bit more expensive. At least they seem to actually care about their animals!
Mixed Feelings about CBReptile: An Honest Review of my Blue Axanthic Iguana
Just received a cute blue axanthic iguana from cbreptile and I wanna share my thoughts. Shipping was okay, not bad. The iguana arrived soon after shipping, but the packaging was not impressive. He came in a bag inside a box with some wadded paper for insulation, but nothing was there to regulate the temperature so he arrived a bit cooler than what I’d expected. There was no paperwork included as well, not even an invoice or care sheet (). Just a tiny lizard in a box, I must say that I was disappointed with that. Besides, I’d ordered the "big baby" which should be 4-7 months old with moderate size, but mine is barely 3 months old; maybe 10-11 inches nose to tail tip . Also, he arrived moderately dehydrated, which was quite scary and disappointing (check out the photo). That speaks volumes about their husbandry situation, and I hope it's an isolated case. I wanna trust them, but I'm not sure yet. Luckily, I am a vet tech at an exotic veterinary clinic, so I know what I'm saying! I soaked him for a while and had to increase humidity in his enclosure to make him feel at home. He seems socialized, though. He’s quick to explore and eats veggies and fruit - maybe because he got hydrated and basked in the heat under the humidifier for a couple of hours. I love him to pieces already, but I hope his health doesn't suffer any serious consequences from this. My dad ordered him for me, and he was told there's only a 2-day health guarantee (the online page says 7 days). That's sketchy already and confused me a bit. So, I told them about his condition as soon as he arrived, just in case. he’s now okay, but one can never tell with baby reptiles.
Cons: Packaging, lack of information, questionable animal health, possible incorrect age of the animal, and a short (and concerning) health guarantee.
Pros: Price, prompt shipping, responsive to emails, and a beautiful specimen that seems to have been handled and socialized previously.
At the moment, I’d give 4 stars with a mixed feeling(watch out for reptile health and welfare), hope they handle the situation better next time. I might recommend them to others or buy from them again depending on how they handle things in the future. However, I still think a small-scale herp breeder is the way to go. Fingers crossed and hoping my baby blue iguana remains healthy and safe!

I gotta say, my time dealing with cbreptile.com was not the best. So, I wanted to get my grandson a bearded dragon for his birthday and I ordered one from cbreptile.com. We set everything up for the pet to live comfortably. Although the pet was supposed to arrive on my grandson's birthday, it took a week more to get to us.
After receiving the pet, we noticed a few problems with it in just a few weeks of having it. We reached out to cbreptile.com multiple times to address these concerns, but there was no response from them. My son tried to get in touch with them as well, but nothing seemed to work. When we were finally planning to take the pet to a vet, it passed away just a short time after arriving on our doorsteps.

I remember buying a tegu from CB Reptile a while back for 330 dollars. I was so excited to finally own one of my own, like a dream come true. However, my excitement was very short-lived, because even after two months of waiting, my lovely new pet reptile was nowhere to be found. It was an endless cycle of 'next week', 'next week', every time I checked with them about the whereabouts of my tegu.
As days went by, I got more and more worried about whether or not I’d ever get my hands on my new pet. Then one day, CB Reptile let me know that they would not be able to fulfill my order any longer due to some undisclosed issues. Finally, they refunded my money, and I was left crestfallen. I had already told my family about the new arrival, and I felt embarrassed that I didn't deliver what I had promised them.
I went back to their website and, shockingly, found out that all of their tegus were listed as sold out after they had already sold and sent them out to other customers, and forgotten about poor me. That was so unprofessional! I had never experienced such saddening, frustrating, and disappointing service from a reptile store before. What CB Reptile did is pathetic and unacceptable, and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Shipping was real slow (24 hours my foot!), and they sent me the wrong kind of chameleon! Instead of a young adult that I ordered, I got a little hatchling! When I tried to get at their customer service, it was like trying to get a prize out of a claw machine - you're always so close and yet so far! I was thinking I was splashing out a pretty penny and getting a premium kind of reptile dealer, but it's more like they're just beginners playing around.

I recently ordered a panther chameleon from CB Reptile, and I have to say my experience was less than ideal. They promised delivery on Friday, February 20th, but the lizard was nowhere to be found. Naturally, it didn't show up then either, and I had to reach out yet again, this time being informed that it would arrive on Friday instead. Sadly, that wasn't the case either.
It wasn't until they offered a tracking number that I had any sense of hope, but even then, the label was created on Monday the 22nd and nothing happened after that. It's now Sunday, February 28th, and I still don't have my lizard. That's 11 days later, which is pretty unacceptable when you're expecting a live animal. I wouldn't bother arguing with them about the 20% refund charge – just dispute it with your credit card company and you'll likely have the money back in 1-2 days. And if it were up to me, I'd report them as a scam and get them shut down for good. Trust me, there are better places to buy reptiles from. Wish I'd read the reviews beforehand!

Hey guys, just wanted to share my experience with CB Reptile. So, I decided to get myself a beautiful creature from their online store. I made my order on Sunday and they took the money out of my account on Monday, which is cool. However, since then, I haven't heard anything from them - no email, no text, nothing.
I mean, on their website, they have a shipping chart that shows expected delivery time but my package is nowhere to be found. I've tried contacting them several times through their email address and phone number, but they haven't replied. I even sent them a message on social media, but they ignored me.
I thought to myself, "These guys have time to post pictures of reptiles on FB and Instagram, but they can't reply to their customers?" I also left a comment on both social media platforms, but they deleted them. So, now I'm left with no choice but to file a dispute with my bank because I can't trust them anymore.
Honestly, if I can't rely on them to communicate with me during the ordering process, I doubt they'll support me if there are any issues post shipping. It's pretty obvious they don't care about their customers or the animals they're selling. I strongly advise against buying from them!
CB Reptile: A Deceptive Company with No Customer Service
This CB Reptile company is one big NO NO. I gotta be honest, they ain't got no customer service. They don't even care about the ones who buy from 'em and they don't keep their promises. It's just plain wrong to take someone's cash and then not deliver the goods. I mean like, how is that cool? Huh?

This company, CB Reptile, totally sucks. Like, they're completely terrible. So I ordered a panther chameleon from them for like, $359. And when it came, it was like, barely even born. And then, like, it died in just six days. Can you believe that? So I had to ask for a replacement, which I had to pay like, an extra $40 for overnight shipping. Like, duh, it's a live animal, it should be overnighted, right? Anyway, I asked for an older chameleon this time, but they sent it out during a big storm. And like, what kind of reputable breeder would do that, right? I just wanted my chameleon to arrive safe and sound. But it finally got here like, three days late and guess what? It was DOA. Like, dead on arrival. Soooo disappointing. And get this, it was the same size as the first one they sent me. And like, they don't even give you any care sheets or anything, or even the date it hatched. That's just so, like, irresponsible and cruel. And I've read other reviews on Facebook and stuff where people have had the same horrible experience. So, like, don't buy anything from CB Reptile. Just stay away. They're the worst.

I was on the hunt for a new Leopard Gecko and stumbled upon CB Reptile's website. I gotta say, they had some pretty cool geckos up for sale that caught my eye, so I decided to go for it and purchased one. After waiting for an excruciating month and two weeks, they finally sent out my package. But oh boy, when I received my Gecko, it looked terribly sick! The poor thing was freezing, and its stomach was extremely flat - like something was wrong with it. The customer service was horrendous, to say the least, and the whole experience made me want to steer away from CB Reptile's website for good.
I suspected that my new pet was sick, but alas they weren't willing to do anything about it. Although I contemplated canceling my order, they would only reimburse me around 20% - which just wasn't worth it.
All in all, CB Reptile may have some exciting options on their website, but with the unresponsive customer service and tardiness in delivering properly functioning goods, it's just not worth the trouble.
