Paint issues at this point
Paint issues at this point. My paint is peeling through out whole house. Mud issue. No paint sticks to it... they want to leave me with rough walls to half to the job.

Our home is in a subdivision in Idaho
Our home is in a subdivision in Idaho. We have a walkway between the houses with backyards facing it. Every rain, the walkway floods, with water up to 10 inches remaining and affecting backyards. We've repeatedly contacted CBH about this, receiving responses that it's functioning as intended. During summer, the issue persists whenever sprinklers are active due to disconnected drainages from stormwater basins, causing overflow onto the walkway and into yards.

CBH just built the fence for their house. The list was just removed and the property still belongs to CBH (The address will hidden for privacy purpose). Time line: 6/15: The list was removed. 6/18: They started to build the fence, and I sent them email to ask if they are going to inclose it by attaching our fence. They said I should contact the buyer. It does not make sense to me, because the buyer does not own the property before the closing is finished. CBH, as the property owner needs to settle it down. 6/22: They completed the fence construction by crossing the boundary and attaching ours to inclose their fence. They do not reply my email anymore. Both our left and right neighbors offered and shared the fence cost. Idaho fence law: https://legislature.idaho.gov/statutesrules/idstat/Title35/T35CH1/SECT35-105/ 35-105. USE OF DIVISION FENCE IN MAKING INCLOSURE. When one (1) of such adjoining proprietors has allowed his land to lie uninclosed, and afterward incloses it, he owes and is indebted to such adjoining owner one-half (1/2) the value of any division fence owned by the other, used by him in forming such inclosure; and each must thereafter keep one-half (1/2) of such fence in repair. History: [[protected], p. 118, sec. 1; R.S., sec. 1304; reen. R.C. & C.L., sec. 1268; C.S., sec. 1960; I.C.A., sec. 34-105.] My latest email: The fence construction is done today. Can you please clarify if CBH is the owner of the property including the fence? We welcome the property owner to cross the boundary and attach to our fence. However, the property owner needs to pay us 50% of the adjoining fence cost, which is clearly stated by Idaho law. If it is not owned by CBH, I will appreciate your help if you pass my contact info to our future neighbor. If it is owned by CBH, please make the payment according to the Idaho law. This is a simple business case, no need for further action.
We purchased our home in June, when we moved in we noticed the that front mow strip as CBH refers to it as was flooded and not draining properly. It took my husband a matter of minutes to see that it was not graded, leveled and grass installed properly. This was causing mold, natts and mosquitoes to form and cause a huge issue. I put a work order in with CBH they came out and decided to cut another piece of the concrete to drain the water. This did not work at all and they never came back out and ignored our phone calls and never fixed it. Winter proceeds to happen so there is no sprinklers on and then Spring comes and its time to have the sprinklers turned back on. Well of course, the same thing happens again. Its flooded, molded, natts and misquotes congregating in my front yard. I proceed to contact CBH and they send out Todd the guy in charge of our subdivision (Superintendent) He comes out and proceeds to tell me that the sprinklers from the neighbors house are causing the flooding, I took pictures when the neighbors had their sprinklers on and they are not at all in any way going into our yard. I said no Todd , you need to level out and add more dirt and re sod so it can drain, right now it like a caved in bowl and flooding in the middle. He says no and says he wants to put a gravel drain strip in the middle of our mow strip and I refused, that will stick out like a sore thumb and I do not want that. I want it leveled, and re sodded like the rest of the neighborhood. This is absolutely absurd and needs to be fixed. This has been an ongoing thing for over a year now and we have been patient and we have zero resolution.
I purchased a home from CBH in December
I purchased a home from CBH in December . Since that time there has been major problems with drainage and flooding in the back yard. Also the landscaping has been poorly done. My attempts to get this resolved have been mostly ignored by CBH. A few weeks ago three members of the warranty team shoed up for an inspection and agreed that the problem appeared to be drainage from 2 neighboring house. They said they would resolve the issue and get back to me. I have heard nothing. I have put multiple request into the warranty system and contacted my assigned customer care representative. Nothing has been done and the vendors don't seem to do anything to fix the problem. CBH seems to assign the work to subcontractors and have no control or quality check that they actually do the work they are suppose to. They need to resolve this soon or further action will be taken. I have called the City of Meridian Building Department to ask for their help but Have not heard from them.

Our house is flooding
Our house is flooding. In March my husband *** contacted the CBH warranty team, a claim was open and closed without anything being done. May I contacted CBH warranty and filed 2 Additional claims on it they sent out *** they only lifted the lid in the backyard where the irrrigation lines are connected and said something about needing a drain. So instead of Fixing the issue they Closed both claims saying it was Fixed. I Filed another claim, once again *** came out to my residence and was Guided by *** to Place the Drain House on the Opposite side of where it is Flooding and it is just laying on top of the 4 1/2 Inches of standing water. Let me tell you this is Ridiculous. My husband went under my house last night in all the water and Mud took pictures and due to the Failing Warranty Department for Corey D *** the wood is Wet under my house and there are mold spores. I am Not the Only one over here in *** ESTATES that is having their house flood. Just remember I have had STANDING water under my house since MARCH

My wife and I made an offer on a new construction home in Meridian, ID 83642
My wife and I made an offer on a new construction home in Meridian, ID 83642. The offer, made in good faith during the final construction phase, assumed landscaping would match the subdivision's lush lawns and trees, as per the city-approved plan. However, we found gravel instead of sod, making the street resemble a parking lot. CBH's reasons varied from ignorance to a new standard to crawl space protection. Yet, our survey of Meridian's new CBH homes showed no gravel precedent. This unapproved change could lower neighborhood property values. We simply expect the home we offered on to be delivered as anticipated, with landscaping consistent with the neighborhood.

My wife and I made an offer on a new construction home located at ***, Meridian, ID 83642. The good faith offer was made near the end of the construction process and was made before the landscaping was completed. In making the offer, we made a "logical assumption" that the house would be landscaped just the same as the rest of the subdivision with lush green lawns/sod, beautiful young trees, and the "mow strips" would also be landscaped according to the rest of the landscaping standards established by the rest of the existing subdivision (as well as the official Landscaping Plan that was approved by the City of Meridian). Upon visiting the property prior to the final inspection it was discovered that the developer (CBH) placed gravel all up and down the street instead of the expected sod and now the street looks like an ugly parking lot. When questioning the decision to surplant the nice green sod with gravel, CBH provided multiple excuses. Their excuses/explanations ranged from "We didn't know!" to "This is the way we're doing it everywhere now" to "We're doing this to protect the crawl space under the house." Well, my wife and I decided to drive all over Meridian and find as many new construction CBH homes as possible and while we found many many homes, in numerous neighborhoods, we could NOT find one single tract where sod had been replaced with gravel. This significant landscaping design change was NOT approved by the city of Meridian and also presents an inherent risk to the detrimental impact of property values for this neighborhood. My wife and I are very reasonable people, and all we ask is that the property we made a good faith offer on, is delivered as expected. That means the landscaping on *** should MATCH the rest of the neighborhood.
