order not processed timely, no communication
We tried placing an order online and was successful in placing the order; received order confirmation. This was supposed to be an Overnight Shipment. After a few days not having received the shipment contacted Customer Support. We had already sent them Tax Exempt Documents to set up our Account. They insisted on wasting our time requesting Tax Exempt Documents multiple times and for our other locations even though we do not order product through any of our other locations. After wasting countless hours to ensure Tax Exempt Status I was reassured Tax Exempt had been set up. Revisiting my request for status update on our order I was notified that Terms were not approved so the order was not processed. I spoke to Cara (480)270-7326 regarding the order and was assured the order would be processed same day and shipped overnight after paying with Credit Card. I have called several times and have emailed for status on this shipment and no one has returned a response or tried to call. WE WILL PURCHASE OUR PRODUCTS ELWARE MOVING FORWARD. **DONT WASTE YOUR TIME**
Purchased 2 printers
Purchased 2 printers from cdw. First one not a good choice for me, salesman never followed up, terrible customer service, returned printer for full refund. Second printer purchased with tom whitelock, an upgrade, this tom whitelock quite the scammer, an older man more experienced, at scamming the customer, particularly women and seniors. Much back and forth...

On 05/20/2012 I placed online order 1B80FQX for quantity two of CDW part # 2655482 at $28.99 + tax each with a description of "PaperPort Professional - ( v. 14 ) - complete package" which according to the product specifications on their website at that time, was to include the software and one license.
On 05/03 I received a call from "Chuck" at [protected] claiming that what I ordered was just the CD, no license and that he would need to change it to a different product costing $167.99 each. I advised him that per the website, what I ordered is what I needed and he kept telling me that either he could change the order to the $167.99 each product or cancel it. It told him I wanted what I ordered shipped at the price I placed the order at. He kept telling me he was going to cancel it (which he eventually did without my authorization) so I asked to speak to a manager. Chuck put me on hold and came back telling me there was no manager I could talk to because all the managers were in a meeting. I told him that there certainly has to be someone (a manager/director/VP) available for me to talk to unless he was trying to tell all of company management was unavailable. He placed me on hold again without comment and then the line was picked up by a "Mara" in customer care who knew nothing about what was going on, so Chuck dumped the call by cold-transferring me to customer care instead of letting me talk to the manager I requested to talk to. I explained to Mara that I had asked Chuck to get me a sales manager and requested to talk to a sales manager. Mara advised that nobody was available for me to talk to and offered to have a manager call me. I told her that the last time I asked for a callback from a manager (on a non-realted incident) I never received one, which is why I wanted to talk to a manager now. Mara told me nobody was available and at that point I disconnected.
I then went to the BBB website to file a complain and there was a note that CDW requested customers contact their "Quality Assurance Team directly at [protected]" to discuss the matter before filing a complaint. I called the number, which went to voicemail and I left a callback number. Two business days later, I still hadn't heard back from anyone, so I filed a BBB complaint.
CDW responded stating their website was misleading, that they fixed that and offered to sell me the product at their full $167.99 price, but give me free shipping (what a joke!).
I made a fair counter proposal, which was for them to sell quantity one (originally I had ordered two, but I was willing to compromise here) at either $28.99 or their cost (whichever was higher) with me paying the shipping, which would make me happy and CDW would pretty much be able to fulfill their obligation without losing money.
I went back and forth with them several times and they would not honor their original advertised price. You can view the BBB complaint here (not sure how long the BBB keeps it online): https://chicago.app.bbb.org/complaint/view/94398268/c/5nyjhz.
In short: Do NOT do business with this dishonest, uncaring company with poor customer service!

This company is such a scam. Please whatever you do do not use them! They will steal your money. Worse company ever to deal with. No customer service. The only way to talk to anyone is through email and they never get back to you or approve a claim either. Something seriously bad needs to happen to this company
hp touchpad order cancellation 4 days later
My co-workers and myself included received a mass email today (Thursday) from CDW.com in response to our HP Touchpad orders. These orders were submitted and confirmed on Monday morning. Why it took CDW 3-4 days to send an apology “we can’t fill your confirmed order” is beyond me. I don’t understand how an online business, one which uses automation on their site, can’t tell if they have something in stock. I’m not mad that they didn’t had the devices in stock. I’m completely pi$$ed that they didn’t tell me until now. My local Best Buy had these in stock for a few hours yesterday. I would have gone there had I known CDW couldn’t deliver. What is also aggravating, is that we purchase all of our company equipment through CDW. I would never recommend these guys again after this debacle.

DO NOT please orders with CDW.com. They advertise stuff for a price - after placing an order they cancel it without any intimation whatsoever
scammers
I took my car to a shop to find out what was wrong, it was the alternator the shop owner submitted a claim on my 2000 VW Beetle, it was going to cost 485.00 The insurance company only wanted to pay 281.00 my deductible is 100.00 plus the remainder after the 281.00 is paid by this company .I want to know what I'm paying for, what I thought paying was a insurance that picks up the bill, well atleast I thought, but it is so not true.
I purchaed a Vehicle Warranty Service in 7/13/09 from SecureChoice; I had a water pump installed 16 months ago and that was paid for and a rental car was paid. Today, 1/18/11 I needed a starter installed and this company state that I did not complete the maintenance on my car. What maintenance is needed for a started that quits? My Good Year repair man states that I have a good maintenanc record. I am very upsent with the lack of integrity of this company and I would like to contact others that have had this problem of "Closed Claim Report" and do a class action suit against this company. There are many complaints when I try to reach them at customerservice@cdwsnow.com. Look them up for yourselve.
warranty service denied
I cannot believe how many people will turn over and take this companies scam. Now I too have no choice, our transmission claim which is valid with the warranty denied because we were missing one oil change receipt. The mechanic said in 30 years of business he had never dealt with someone like this.
If we all pool together a class action suit can be done. If there are any lawyers who would take us on pro bono, I know there would be a crowd.
Let me know I will do what ever I can to shut down this place for good .

Unable to contact company on any issues.
They have my money I want it back or the service.
This company is a scam and needs to be shut down. Add me to the list of hundreds of people this same type thing has been happening to. I have been denied a claim for over a month now for repairs that fell under my optional purchase of "seals & gasket" coverage under the Secure Choice plan. After dozens of emails and several weeks, the "Claims Supervisor" finally admitted that they had the wrong information on file, and they would "re-open my claim. Here is a cut-and-paste statement:
After an extensive review with our claims manager, we are going to reopen your claim.
It appears we were given the wrong agreement information from your seller.
We will be sending correspondence to your repair facility shortly.
Thank you.
Claims Customer Service Supervisor
Now the claim has been denied again because my odometer reading doesn't match from when the request for approval was initially sent (they made me send in an actual picture of my current odometer reading). Well, no kidding...since it has been a month now, and CDWS has repeatedly denied the claim, all the while the denial was admittedly because they had incorrect information on file as to which type coverage I had. I, as a responsible vehicle owner, had the repairs needed on the vehicle, even with them continuing to deny my claim. So now that they finally admit that I DO, in fact, have a policy that covers these repairs, they have an excuse of denying the claim because my vehicle has been driven over the past month.
This company is a SCAM, as there are hundreds of such complaints all over the internet. If you are shopping for an Extended Warranty for your vehicle, DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY! If anyone forms a Class A lawsuit against this company, please include me!

fraud misrepresentation
On Dec 2008, I purchased a warranty from CDWS for 1, 800.
I received the paperwork and reviewed it and it appeared everything major would be covered. In March 2009, I began having problems with my transmission. I figured, I have a warranty, lets take it to a professional. I took my vehicle to Coleman Taylor. I was advised that I would have to have the transmission taken out of the vehicle before he could tell me what was wrong. I called CDWS to get a rental and it was denied. Needless to say, I ended up paying out of my pocket for the transmission and the rental. Over $1, 600.00.
I called CDWS to complain and I was told the ASE Master mechanic was not authorized to work on the transmission because the torque converter was the failure part. The ASE master mechanic told them exactly what made the part fail and because the torque converter was the failure part, it was not covered.
In July of this year, my rack and pinion was diagnosed as bad. Again, I called CDWS and was told this part is not covered.
This time, I requested a part list of each item that was covered.
SAVE YOUR MONEY! THIS IS A RIP OFF!.
They deny everything and take your money with a smile.
STAY AWAY!
I wasted 1, 800. and can not get my money back.

do not buy from them
Do Not buy from CDW.com. If you order when they are planning a price increase, they will let the order expire and then tell you that you have to pay the higher price! Recieved several emails confirming my order then nothing for a week until I emailed them twice and finally got an email back saying they had to put the order on hold and I would have to pay the new price. BUYER BEWARE OF CDW.COM!

Wow, I hope that's not what they are doing to me right now. I ordered a Sonicwall NSA2400 firewall on 2/18/09 and was told it would be a 7-10 wait to be shipped. Well, it is 2/27/09 and it still hasn'e shipped. The order status simply states Backordered Item (Shipping date TDB). I have bought a lot from CDW over the years and ever since they were bought out things have been getting a lot worse. They made me so angry about a year ago that I actually started buying a lot of my stuff from TigerDirect.com. They have never let me down, but they simply don't sell everything CDW does like this firewall. I have notified SonicWall in regards to the matter just so they understand how CDW reflects back on them in regards to poor customer service.
I agree that everyone should stay away from buying as much as they can from CDW.
