Hello, My Wife and I booked a vacation package through CID Presents which included our hotel room and 2 tickets to the music festival in Mexico. When we booked the trip and paid for it in full the COVID requirements were that we were to have a negative covid test 72 hours before the festival. This was the only requirement to attend. On October 27th CID presents made a *** post that their COVID requirements for this festival changed. They do many festivals and only " ***" festival had changes to their Covid requirements. The new requirements are that you must provide a negative Covid test and be fully vaccinated. Being fully vaccinated is the newest requirement. We have reached out to CID presents multiple times. after 10 plus times trying to reach someone to dispute we have had zero luck.. We have started the dispute process with our CC company. I am asking for assistance from the Complaintsboard.com to help resolve this.

Long story short: On April 29, I purchased a package from CID to see *** in Cancun, Mexico. Due to unforeseen circumstances, I needed to sell the trip so I contacted CID.. I went through the proper process as per CID and on July 17, CID approved my request to transfer the trip. On the same day, I was fortunate to find a buyer and CID was notified of same. Here it is 6 weeks later and the transfer is still not complete. The buyer signed the waiver 4 times already but CID is stating it is incomplete on their end, even though the buyer has screen shots of the completed waiver. Despite the numerous calls and e-mails, no one gets back to you. On the main number, you can't even leave a message because the mailbox is full and it disconnects you. I am paying for a trip that I sold 6 weeks ago. The buyer needs to secure airfare and insurance, and I can use the money. I spoke to the manager a few times but she was of no help! This transfer needs to be completed!

We purchased 2 Great Time package tickets for the *** concert in Oakland CA. We were promised pins and coffee as part of the package. After the show we got an email saying the coffee and pins would be shipped within the next 2-3 weeks. We received one shipment of coffee but the other coffee package and the two pins never arrived. I've emailed the company 4 times now checking in about why they haven't shipped and I get minimal information. This was a Christmas gift so its incredibly frustrating.
I purchased tickets for a *** VIP Meet and Greet experiences on 5/27. After several cancellations, the concert was rescheduled for 4/7/2022. On March 3, 2022 I received an email from CID Entertainment that my VIP meet and greet was cancelled and I could attend a sound check instead, but with no personal interaction. I have requested a refund ever single day since March 3 and received no response from CID at all. When I try to contact them by phone, their phone system is not taking messages or you cannot get a live person, because they are only doing email. The total cost of my tickets is $1,725.00 and I would like my money back because I cannot get what I purchased.

We purchased an all-inclusive package for the *** show in Cancun; organized by CID Entertainment. Scheduled for Feb. 18-20th, 2022. We made payments over the last year of $6,800 to cover everything besides flights. We have made multiple attempts to contact and discuss our request for a refund, but continue to get automated responses or a message telling us to find someone to transfer our package to; but only through CID's approved process. My request was based on my employer having banned all out-of-country travel for me due to the fact that I am an essential employee who works in hospitals with physicians and patients. Due to the increase of COVID cases, we have also lost our childcare for our 4 kids. Every day there are people posting online that they were successfully refunded but are being refused. CID claims to have a waitlist and could easily manage refunding and reselling the package. We wish we could attend, but it is out of our control. Any assistance in recovering these funds would be greatly appreciated. I will attach my employer letter below.

I purchased tickets to a CID Presents event in Mexico. After I secured the package, CID Presents modified the COVID protocols, which included changes to the testing requirements. Considering these alterations and the current state of the pandemic, as well as the last-minute cancellation of a similar concert experience in Mexico by CID Presents scheduled earlier in the year, I requested a refund. Regrettably, it is impossible to communicate with a CID representative directly by phone or through live chat, and the email responses I have received, often after a prolonged wait of a week or more, are generic messages stating that refunds are not available. I have submitted all the necessary information along with my refund request, yet I continue to experience delays in receiving responses from CID. I would greatly value, at the very least, a chance to have a conversation with a CID representative regarding my concerns.
CID recently offered a refund option but not for canceled events
CID recently gave a customer an option for a refund and are not accommodating for canceled events. They ended up canceling the event the day people arrived this week. The concert is scheduled for February 24-27, 2022. They changed the policy post-purchase to require a vaccine and PCR test or deny entry upon arrival. My partner, unvaccinated due to religious reasons, and I would not have bought tickets had we known. The policy shift came months after our purchase. Additionally, with the rise of Omicron, we're concerned about being stranded in Mexico after a positive test. Despite being repeat customers, CID won't let us transfer our package to someone on their waitlist. This inflexibility is inexcusable. I also have hypertrophic cardiomyopathy, increasing my risk with Omicron. I had hoped the pandemic would be resolved by now. CID's customer support is unreachable by phone and unresponsive to emails. I request a refund from CID so someone on the waitlist can purchase our spot. Order ID Paid: $5,668.00

I (and several friends) purchased a package to an event in Mexico through CID Entertainment that included tickets to a concert, and hotel accommodations. At the time of purchase June the company had COVID-19 precaution requirements that were limited to wearing a mask. Nothing more. December after all payments were made to CID Entertainment, the company changed these requirements drastically to require full vaccination AND testing before arrival, if not, I (and others) would be denied access to the show, and hotel room that we paid for. There was no offer to refund or reconcile with customers due to these drastic changes. I have called several phone numbers associated with this company, as well as several other phone numbers attached to "shell' companies associated with CID entertainment (such as CID Presents, and *** Inc.) These phone numbers will not allow you to talk to a person from the company. Just prerecorded loops. The option to talk to someone has been replaced with a message that states that they have chosen to close their phone lines, then hangs up on you. Also, I have emailed CID's "Guest services" to reconcile this issue and have only received an automatic generated response. As a group we paid over $15,000.00 for this package. The portion of this package that I paid for was $5500.00 this is the amount I am seeking to recoup.

Hello. I am filing this complaint because On April 7th I made a purchase for $4,629.00 for Playing in The Sand 2022, a Mexico concert experience hosted. By CID Entertainment LLC. The event start date is posted as Wednesday January 5th 2022, 11PM EST. on January 6th 2022, After much panic and confusion about the event not taking place as planned, many guests had already arrived in Mexico and feared being stranded. Other travelers were in transit and confused and frightened on what to do. CID finally issued a communication with a full cancellation notice at their own discretion, and let customers know they will be receiving a full refund for cancelling the event. January 10th CID issued an email with a confirmation of full refund to be provided. March 23rd 2022. Still have not received refund or any communication from CID. I reached out to ask for help. March 25th. Reached out to CID again for help via email. Still no response. March 27th. Reached out to CID again for help via email. No response. March 28th. Reached out to CID again for help via email. No response. March 29th. Reached out to CID again for help via email. No response. This is regarding ***. An event in Mexico that we got given the option to request a refund which I took. Due to serious COVID concerns. *** was the payment processer and says that CID must approve payments and refunds will be coming. CID is now ignoring all emails and shut down the phone system. Then I got an email stating no refunds would be issued. Then another saying up to 90 days for refunds, my one roommate *** whom I owe money back to since we cancelled has terminal cancer and purchased another package as she wanted to go she is dying anyway in her words and she needs the money and honestly most likely will not be alive in 90 days. So an expedited refund is in order given this case. My bank told me to file a dispute with the Complaintsboard.com as these payments started in April. I am attaching all documentation. And I have been a long time supporter of CID and am baffled at the handling of this, and as a member of the media if I do not get a prompt full refund for both my merchandise and my ticket I will bring national attention to the handling of this. I pray this is not a super spreader event where friends of mine die at your hands. I am just thankful I was given an out, that now it seems they are changing there mind on and only giving prompt 5-7 day refunds to those who cancelled and then bought another package which my roommate did so, yet she needs my refund money. Please I just ask for a very prompt refund so I can pay my dying roommate what I owe her for her share of the room, and I can get my money back also.

CID sold all-inclusive packages in June for an event in February 2022 at a resort in Rivera Maya, Mexico. Post-purchase, CID altered their contract, mandating third-party health data collection for attendees. Refunds were requested for these reasons: CID imposed a negative COVID-19 test requirement for package purchasers, unlike other resort guests; CID mandated full vaccination against COVID-19 for attendees, a policy not applied to other guests; CID's inconsistent policies for different events; CID's claim to follow federal guidelines contradicted by their additional requirements, as Mexico does not mandate testing or vaccination for entry. CID's stance is a no-refund policy with the right to policy changes at any time, as communicated by their guest services director. Despite claiming to prioritize guest health, these issues suggest otherwise. We bought a 4-person package from CID presents for a 2022 event. Unfortunately, COVID has resurged since we purchased the tickets in April, and now 2 people in our party have contracted COVID and are apprehensive about traveling to Mexico. CID advised us to purchase insurance (an additional $250-350). New York State insurance laws are not very helpful, and now we're stuck with a $7500 package we can't use. CID presents hosts several shows from January to February. We have attended 5 of the 7 years it has been running. This year, due to COVID, it seems they are allowing different policies for specific events. In reality, the 2 people joining us should not be traveling and are quite worried about the potential consequences of doing so. Below is some information listed for an event occurring 2 weeks prior to ours: 'CID looks forward to seeing you at the event from January 7-10 & 13-16, 2022. Any package holders no longer interested in attending the event may now request a refund by following the instructions below and submitting your refund request by 5PM ET on December 31.' As COVID-19 continues to affect international travel and live events, CID asks all attendees to be aware of their exposure risk before traveling. Ensuring a safe, comfortable experience for all guests, artists, and staff remains CID's top priority. Their website states the event will proceed regardless of weather conditions, with no returns, exchanges, transfers, or cancellations. If it were this simple, we would get a refund for our 2 friends and not feel like we're being cheated out of over $3500. We request the ability to get a refund for the 2 people in our party who can't attend, or perhaps even downgrade to a smaller room or less desirable location. We're looking for any solution that will prevent us from losing the significant amount of money we spent when COVID seemed to be more under control.

This letter concerns a reservation made on June 15th, for a music concert at a Cancun resort, from February 17th to 22nd, 2022. I paid for a king room for 5 nights as part of a travel package. At purchase, we agreed to your travel restrictions policy, which we relied on. However, on October 27th, the policy changed to require negative Covid tests and vaccinations. Had these rules been in place initially, I wouldn't have booked, as I can't risk quarantine affecting my job, child, pets, and ill mother's care. Please cancel my reservation, refund my payment, and allocate my room and tickets to someone on the waiting list. My attempts to communicate have been met with silence or automated replies, despite numerous calls and an official letterhead provided. This lack of response and inflexibility is unacceptable. I will not attend any future events by your company and know many others who agree.

Purchased a package for *** in Mexico for Jan 26-31 in Aug 2021. At the time, was aware of the no refund policy. However, as we got closer and closer to the event of travel, conditions changed drastically, making the product purchased vastly different from the product that we would receive. First, travel guidelines were changed in mid Dec to require a negative Covid test to enter and exit Mexico. This was not a requirement at time of purchase. Furthermore, it was disclosed that if you did test positive in Mexico, you could have to quarantine for up to 10 days. This was not an option for myself and my husband. Then, Covid rates began to rise to record levels in late Dec. Getting test results back was taking weeks in the Charleston area. So being able to produce a negative test to travel was a grave concern. CID Events then offered refunds to patrons attending their events at the same location for the first two weekends in Jan due to COVID concerns. Yet, despite soaring numbers, CID would not provide the same option for the event scheduled for the end of the month The Mexican Governor of the state of Quintana Roo changed the COVID threat level to orange prior to our planned trip, advising against traveling to the state and avoiding large crowds at all costs. He further indicated there would be police patrolling the streets to ensure there were not large gatherings. The possibility of off site tours also changed, as once on premises, you would not be permitted to leave. Finally, the US Government issued a do not travel to Mexico advisory, for the end of January and CID gave refunds to the event scheduled for the following weekend At one point in time, CID stated should I provide a letter from my employer stating I could not miss work, I could get a refund. I am a high school principal, thus an essential worker, who could not risk being quarantined. Despite all this, CID events maintains the package purchased is what was promised and refused to offer a refund.

Purchased VIP package to *** and never received anything on where to pick up the merchandise. When we got to the venue the people working the merchandise counter were useless. They just kept sending us around in circles. Very disappointed at spending all of this money without get any of the merchandise we signed up for. There was also no help at the venue whatsoever. At the very least I would like the merchandise mailed to me.
CID had a event they offered refunds for in December and I requested a refund before the event got canceled its been over 90 days and I get a email from them stating it will be another 1-3 weeks. They owe me $6000 and are taking their time. It is not professional or how a business should be run
So I know the probability of this being seen is very low. And the chances of a solution even lower. I purchased 3 vip tickets for the peoria Illinois show. First I received a ripped autographed tour poster which I pointed out immediately and got attitude from the vendor and couldn't have it switched. Second there was a *** audio Playlist that the three of us did not receive. Lastly due to idk what but our seats were not even available. All of this is a huge bummer as it was a birthday present for myself and at over a $1500 pricetag feeling a little taken advantage of and I purchased the clown package and haven't received it and gotten no response about it
