on 10/20/23 first of all the employee followed me through out the store. i found a jacket that i like tried it on kept it on because it started raining as i walked into the store. She followed me to the check out alerting the cashier that i was trying to steal the coat. the cashier then explained to her that the coat had already been rang up. after that the worker continued by asking about my other items still being accusatory including baby boots. the cashier stepped in again to assure her that nothing was stolen. the cashier apologized for the womans actions. but she publicly humiliated me. You have a Karen in your store.
Desired outcome: her FIRED AND COMPENSATION FOR BEING TREATED LIKE A COMMON THEIF. IVE BEEN A CUSTOMER AT THIS LOCATION SINCE ITS OPENED.AND IVE SPENT THOUSANDS OF MY HARD EARNED DOLLARS IN THE SAME LOCATION THAT SHE TREATED ME LIKE I WAS LESS THAN.

I went to return an item I had receipt and tags on and hanger I never wore and it was within the 30 days. The store manager was rude and mean would not tell me her name she had security grab me she told him to throw me out he physically grabbed me and dragged me about 20 feet I had a dress on my butt showed I have bruises and scrapes. The cops were called and that’s when the manager finally said her name. Her name is Sandra.
Desired outcome: I want to get my money back and speak to the district manager as to why I was refused service if I had everything required and I was physically dragged by security

Maranda Jones attitude
July the 5th I went into the store to make a layaway for my children for school and I had my son with me I was in the boys clothing section and my son asked to look at some toys I was still able to see my son a toy fell off the shelf and he picked it right and put it back on the shelf Maranda (store manager) walked quickly to the toys in anger and she said “I just cleaned this toy section up” I said to Maranda “My child didn’t make any of that mess over there” and my child was the only child in the store at the time so I told the near by associate that I did not appreciate the way she came at my child and to please talk to her about it he did just that and just before I left the store Maranda came up to me saying that she doesn’t have an attitude. On August 5th I came in the store to get my layaway out and I was with my 2 children and my husband at this time we never left from the front register because that is all that I needed and my 2 children was in front of the camera looking at the screen to see themselves they were dancing and Maranda walked to the door and yelled “somebody kids going to get hurt playing in this store” and I just told my children to come and stand next to me and then Maranda opened the front door and looked at me and said “how you doing” with an attitude and rolled her eyes at me and walked out the store. She makes me not want to shop here anymore she is very disrespectful to me and my children.
Desired outcome: I would like a much better shopping experience at this store without the attitude from the manager Maranda I am a regular here and I would love to stay one.

I feel like I’m being treated unfair. I also have a learning disability and I am 32. I see that the store has rules and regulations unlocking the phones but why am I the only employee that is locking it and everybody else I work with is not including managers please tell me is that right or fair lead by example, correct? If I see the managers, not following the rules, then as an employee, I should not be singled out, and I will not follow the rules.

I'm very upset I put a layaway up and was paying on it, I called a week and a half ago to see when was the next payment and was told I didn't have to come in until 14 of may so I didn't go in she called today to tell me they cancelled my layaway and I can't get my hard worker money back when it's not my fault I have proof showing where I called I explained to her, I called to see how much was the late payment but she kept getting an attitude a smart and told me she didn't care and that she called but I called to see what I had to pay this its fair don't want to shop with you all every again and I tell others about how bad the service is I really just want my money back

Customer service was terrible
I am originally from Houston, Texas; a business owner who is tax exempt. I was visiting the Citi Trends that is located in Canton, Mississippi. The manager was very aggressive, rude and gave me very poor customer service. When I walked up to the counter, to purchase my items, I notified her that I am tax exempt. I had all my documents. She refused to give me my tax exempt and told me if I didn’t like how she handled business I can get out her store. That was very distasteful and very poor service.

I have a problem with the manager. He is constantly insulting me when I go into the store, Into make purchases. I have never been disrespectful to him at all. I live in another town; gas prices are high as you know. This manager encoured a worker to insult me as I was leaving tonight. I was talking to a wonderful cashier, and I heard the worker say out lound shut up. I will not stand for the maltreatment from this manager. He is in the wrong business, if he dislikes customers. I went to the store and before I came I looked them up on line to make sure they we not closed. When I get there it was around 8:05 and the door was locked. It states that the store does no close until 9pm Monday through Friday. So the employees look at me when I attempt to open the door. They then turn they head back around to continue to assist the customer at the counter. So I’m still standing there with my kids one of the employees turn back around and says we’re closed, I said your hours right here on the front doors says you don’t close until 9 and online. She walks away the other employee standing there laughing. That was very rude and there is no telling how many times they have done this. If you close at 8 your hours should state that. I sat there and watched other customers walk up to the door and it’s locked. I drove all the way there with the impression the store was open, when it was indeed suppose to be. If for any reason they had to close early they should have put a sign on the door stating that. I would never return to this store.
3 employees shutting down store to go to lunch together
On Saturday, September 3, 2022. I went to the Cititrends store located at 2525 E Hillsborough, Tampa Fl. As arriving I noticed it was around 4:50 and as I gathered my purse I witnessed about 7 people walk up to the door and turnaround. I could see 3 ladies inside holding up a sign that said “Store closed for lunch”. So, I waited to see the reasoning behind the entire store closing just for the 3 employees to go to lunch at the same exact time. I asked the ladies how is that possible and they laughed. I’m very upset and displeased because I manage a retail store and I would be through the roof if learned that my entire team shutdown the entire store and went on break together. That’s not only making the store miss out on sales but it says a lot about the store itself and makes me question the management team. Do better
