My son and I went to citi trends in Lexington, Ky. This was my first time ever shopping in this store. I am a 50 year old white woman and my son is 15- black/white/Hispanic. He has chosen several items to try on in the dressing room. We approached a room where we could tell that no one was inside. I told my son to wait a moment that I would go and ask a clerk to open it up for us. I went to the checkout area and waited until one of the workers made eye contact and I politely asked if someone would help us by unlocking a fitting room. A young clerk told me she would do it so I said thank you and I went back with my son to wait. Time passed and it was evident that she had apparently forgotten or got busy . At the time when I asked her she was not on a register but putting items up. When I approached a second time I politely waited and asked again if they wouldn't mind opening a room and the clerk who originally answered me without looking at me in front of everyone that there wasn't a room available. I said yes there is and then I said what is the problem here. One of the other employees quickly said I will do it and followed me back to where my son was waiting and I said to her how rude the other employee was and she apologized for the girl's behavior. I told the clerk that she didn't need to apologize because she didn't do anything wrong . In all of my years of shopping and encountering different people I was never so upset band dehumanized as I was at that moment. If it wasn't for the fact that my son loved the clothing I would have not bought one thing there . Needless to say I spent about $100 and that same rude clerk even Checked me out. She wouldn't look at me and when I handed my hand out for my receipt she shoved it in the bag. I even thanked her and she wouldn't respond. I live inStamping Ground Ky and I am going to drive all the way back up there tomorrow to personally complain to their management because I literally felt it was a discrimination deal. It was very obvious that this clerk did not care for white people at all. I have taught for 27 years in Georgetown, Ky near Lexington. I am very upset and my son wanted to say something to her so bad because he could tell it was a racist thing she had going on. It is so disappointing to witness people treat customers in such a negative and nasty way. I really hope that this is addressed, I will be finding out her name on Sunday so that she never treats someone like that again.

I shop at citi trends very often and today I went store #427 in Dallas Texas my husband and I was greeted as normal and as walked to the baby section a lady told us we needed to leave our baby bag in the front of store. That was so embarrassing it never happened before. I became furious and walked right back out the store I will never spend another dime at citi trends and I'll be letting my family and friends know the same thing

The store on 163rd St. is very rude, don't shop there. Her name is Dorris. I went there to buy something, while she was scanning my stuff she charged me for something that I didn't want. When she finished I checked my receipt, I told her that she charged me for the stuff I didn't want. She told me that she is not cheating. She said that my husband is cheating on me all over the place... That lady gave me a lot of attitude. She is more than rude...

Do you know how it feels to be wrongly accused of stealing? How it feels to have somebody ask to look in your purse for cheap perfume that cost a couple of dollars? I used to buy a lot of stuff from citi trends. I sent lots of my friends there for good shopping. I will never step foot in a store like this again and I do believe your employees are wrong to accuse people of shop lifting for one and for two it is totally illegal for a store employee to search anybody. I am contacting an attorney and asking what a persons rights are in a case like this. You should value your customers as we are the ones paying your wages. I hope this doesnt happen to others. I am putting your store on blast on internet local papers where ever I can

I bought items from Citi Trends & when I had came up to the register, the cashier asked me where the hangers were. I simply said that they were still on the racks where I had got the clothes. She looked like she had an attitude & told me to go get them. I thought that was pretty odd considering no other store has ever done that. I couldn't find all the hangers I had, but I came up with two & again got attitude. I wish the experience of shopping at this store for the first time was better.

Well i really don't shop there, but my work that I have been at for 2yr's is next door.I had to get a shirt on fri, for our company cancer walk.Well i did not use it, Had my receipt and the tag's still on them.The cashier told me that they did do refunds on clearance, , , which i was never informed of.So i spoke to Kathy the manager, and she said she would do it.It was 7.00.So i thanked them numerous times and i departed.So then i go to my work to drop off halloween candy.Then i went to food lionto get sum graoceries, as i was going in, i seen her coming out my store, and heading towards me like she wanted to fight.Customer's are everywhere and she said u are banned from my store, and i'am confused and embarassed.This was far far off, and very inaproperate.People were staring and looking, she really acted disrepectful.I will take legal action if this is'nt addressed.There was no need whatsoever for her to act like a 16yr, and do this to me.I'am sure u have camer's and you can see, i was very plite and thankful, and nice.

I went after work and had to use the restroom so bad. The young lady said it was break which I find that so hard to believe because how do they work all day with no restroom. I think its bad business to run a store without a restroom. People spend their money to be told its badMusic was playing with bad language and the atmosphere was horrible. Not very helpful. Went in store #113, was told I couldn't pay for a layaway are make a purchase unless the store manager was there. So refused to service me. I don't know why reached out to store DM and Chuck Strickland. Have not received a response. I'm a resident of Darlington and shop there frequently, as well as a lot of my family and friends. This is not acceptable. Will tell everyone to stop shopping there that I know, until I get resolves are I get answer to wht this occurred one. Thanks for your time.

I went into the store in plaquemine Louisiana on October 1st, 2017 around 4pm to exchange a pair of jeans that I purchased from the location on plank road in Baton Rouge a few days ago. Upon entering the store, I had to wait for the associate to come to the counter to assist me. She didn't greet me so I greeted her. I Asked her if they had those jeans cause I needed to exchange them jeans for a bigger size. She said she didn't know and she asked the other associate who said she didn't know but she would go see. After the associate walked and look, she comes to the front of one of the clothes racks and yells. I don't see this brand at all so I guess u gonna have to call Ramona to see what to do about it. Now I'm feeling some type of way because I picked up from that conversation that she's trying to imply that I somehow took a pair of jeans and put tags on them. All tags was attached and I had the original receipt. I asked the associate to call the store where I had purchased the jeans. I think the whole transaction wasn't professional and she issued a refund when all I wanted to do was exchange for another pair of jeans. At the end before leaving, I did get an apology from her after expressing that's not how u handle customers.

I tryed to returned them on sept.30. They wouldnt let me receive my money back and i had the tags and my receipt. I think it is sad. That the same way you gave them your money . You cant get it back. They only give a gift card to only shop with your store. I will never shop with yall again. This aint no good business.

I purchased a shirt and two packs of underwear. I ask the cashier twice before I purchase it, if this isn't the right size can I bring it back, she replied yes. Well the underwear wasn't the right size and I didn't open neither one of the packs. I went back the next day to return them and was told I can't return underwear. I replied, the cashier the day before told me I could, well the manager was very rude not even looking at me, talking low and laughing with another employee replied again you can't return underwear and is this the cashier who rang you up on the receipt that told you this, I said yes and still she said I can't return the underwear. She act as if she didn't care about what I had just told her. I was very disappointed, because I was giving the wrong information as a customer after I asked her twice before I purchase the item could I return them if it's not the correct size and she said yes. I'm very disappointed, now I have two packs of underwear that is unusual and a waste of my money. That's my first and last time shopping at citi trends.

September 28th I went to purchase something, from 709 east Capital Dr Millwaukee wi 53212. While in there I went looking at the makeup seen this glitter eyeshadow and I immediately grabbed it. While in the line for over 7 mins I noticed the makeup had been played in but wasn't completely destroyed. So I asked for a discount seeing that, I went to look for a replacement and there werent any more.
I then asked the cashier for a discount, he asked for, management named London to come and, verify if I can get a discount.
When london came to the front, he looked at the makeup, verified it had been played, in and opened, he then stated that it could not be discounted, but stated, that the seal was broken and, it could still be sold.
Damaged product for full price sounds like crap.

The store manager is constantly copying and pasting old schedules instead of taking the time out and do it correctly and rotate markdowns and weekends (morning shift or off) between her employees. I also didn't like the note she left for the sale associates because they may tend to put requests in because of doctor appointments or work relate. When she hired her employees, she knew they all worked in the school district, college students, or had children.

I was profiled and followed around at your sanford, fl location (2921 orlando dr suite 230 sanford, florida 32773) on 8/26/2017 by a woman named emanuella around 3 or 4pm. I picked out some clothes and asked her if she could unlock the dressing room for me, she was rude and stated that someone else in the dressing area could help me. Shortly after, I noticed that she started following me around the store acting like she was hanging up clothes, but I could tell she was watching me. Then as I picked the clothes that I wanted and went to pay for them at the register, emanuella comes to the counter and all of a sudden wants to do a "quality control" check on my items; i'm not sure if the employees at the store think i'm stupid, but I know that means she wants to check my items to see if I stole something from the store. All of this was very embarrassing and humiliating, this was done in front of my 9 year old son and a line full of customers. I feel that emanuella discriminated against me and profiled because i'm a hispanic male and maybe in her mind, I fit a certain "description" that she deemed untrustworthy for some strange reason. After paying for my items, I left the store and then decided to go back and ask for her name so that I can report the incident. None of the employees wanted to give me her name, they called her (Emanuella) to the front of the store and I had to ask her multiple times for her name before she finally gave it to me. I want to report the incident to the proper channels and make a formal complaint against emanuella and if the sanford location is so worried about theft, maybe they should hire loss prevention instead of having their employees harassing customers because citi trends just lost a customer (Me) and I will not be shopping or recommending citi trends to anyone after this terrible experience that I suffered.

Don't shop in Citi trend they will laugh in your face and stab you in the back on June 24 I tripped over a stool one of the employees left in the middle of the floor fell flat on my face twisted my left ankle the manager saw me when I fell she told me that Citi trend will be responsible for the bill then her lying [censor] told the insurance company a damn lie travelers insurance is who the dill with insurance company is full or sh.. but they will have there day I will get the last laugh
my layway
My layway was due on August 12, 2017 to make my second payment, went to the store on August 13 to make a payment.They can't find my layway assume that it was cancelled for no reason.I had two layway there and my husband pay out the other one.How can you put two layway under the same transaction number but different amount.So they cancelled the other can't find it or something else.They mistake never ever again.This is the second time they did this.No Manager on duty she want answer her phone.They need to do something about this store, people are complaint a lot.I just want my money back because they made the mistake. Very upset !

I bought a pair sandles on 7/21/17 I wore the sandles 3-times and they broke. I took them back on7/26/2017. The manager said they been worn they couldnt take them back.
If you buy something you by them to wear. I paid 7.99 for the sandles. I didnt expect them to break that fast. I have been a long time customer of citi trend. Now I will never buy anything again. I am deeply disturbed at the level of disrespect that I have been showed from the store manager at the Cititrends location in Lafayette, IN. This manager is rude and has been very nasty toward me as I am a customer and should be treated with respect. On more then one occasion I have been refused service and hung up on while on the phone. Actions of such should not b tolerated when you are in a Manager and/or higher

It is very said when patrons invest money in your establishment only to be disrespected. I was in your store located ad 7480 West Commercial Boulevard, Lauderhill, Florida, yesterday. Prior to paying for my items, I asked one of your sales associate that was working the floor if I could use the restroom as I really needed to pee desperately. I was at the point of going on myself. He said the restroom was out of order. I looked at him and said you know very well the restroom was not out of order. I pleaded to him that I really needed to go. He stuck to his story that the restroom was not working and again I said that was not true. He looked at me, smirked and walked away. I then asked the manager who was standing with two other associates, if the restroom is out of order and it was only 2:00 p.m. in the afternoon, where would they all go to use the restroom if the store closed at 8:00 p.m./9:00 p.m. Neither one of them answered my question. Now, they say word of mouth is the best advertisement and believe me, I will not be shopping at your stores anymore and will spread the word as to the treatment received by your representative which is unaccepted after patrons invest hundreds of dollars in your company. This is not extending courtesy to your clients.

I submitted a complaint earlier for the location on Missouri avenue in Clearwater Florida . I had a worker get aggressive with my husband while we were in line because the worker was staring us down the entire time we shopped and he didn't even greet us at the door when we entered he gave us a very nasty look and was very unprofessional. I go to the store here once a week sometimes more and this man was new to the store. The women there i never have a problem with and they are very helpful but today they allowed this man to act out and make us very uncomfortable. I would like someone to contact me so I can go into detail about this issue. I am 25 my husband is 29 and we are one of the main age group this store focuses on so I would really appreciate someone taking there time to get some feedback about this store.
