Clearview Federal Credit Union I'm giving Clearview Federal Credit Union a 2-star review because their banking is good, but the branch in Moon Township is not so great

I'm giving Clearview Federal Credit Union a 2-star review because their banking is good, but the branch in Moon Township is not so great. They judge you if you come in wearing work jeans and a t-shirt, and it feels like they also judge you based on your skin color. This is unfair because all Americans, including white people, have rights. Someone should really investigate this issue!

Clearview Federal Credit Union I'm having a problem because of the pandemic

I'm having a problem because of the pandemic. I've been stuck at home since May because of my health. Cleariew froze one of my accounts (SSDI) and won't talk to me because I have a rep payee. But I had a phone interview with SSA on 10.22.20 and now I'm my own rep payee. They're sending me paperwork so I can open a new SSDI account with a different bank. It seems like Clearview took some money from my SSDI account as an offset. I told the NCUA about this (I already had a complaint against CLVW FCU). It looks like what Clearview is doing to my account isn't legal according to federal rules. My complaint with the NCUA against Clearview got bumped up to level 2 and now an NCUA Examiner is looking into it. I guess the Clearview FCU Home office will find out what this process is all about. CLVW is basically punishing me because I can't leave my home due to the pandemic.

Clearview Federal Credit Union Clearview Federal Credit Union closed my account on 12/01 due to me not paying an alleged line of credit

Clearview Federal Credit Union closed my account on 12/01 due to me not paying an alleged line of credit. I believe this is an unfair action, and I have filed an Antitrust Complaint. I appreciate your support and have also reached out to the Office of Attorney General and filed a complaint with the CFPB.

Clearview Federal Credit Union I jus' checked out my Monthly Statement for a loan I got from the credit union

I jus' checked out my Monthly Statement for a loan I got from the credit union. I noticed that sometimes my interest payments are lower, but other times they're higher, even when I pay before my due dates. So I called up the credit union today (10/6), and they told me it all evens out in the end. That's some shady stuff, man! How am I supposed to review my statements if they do business like this? It's a total scam!

Clearview Federal Credit Union Clearview Federal Credit Union asked for a lot of insurance paperwork, but they claim they didn't get SOME of it

Clearview Federal Credit Union asked for a lot of insurance paperwork, but they claim they didn't get SOME of it. They sneakily bought insurance for a car that was ALREADY insured and charged my loan. I've never heard of such a scam before. I had already provided proof of insurance BEFORE signing the loan with Woltz and Wind Ford. I've never had a trustworthy lender pull such a stunt. It's a total fraud. I don't get how they can "double" insure a car that I technically own. Can someone please help me out here?

Clearview Federal Credit Union I've had issues with a rep from Clearview Federal Credit Union before, and it seems like nothing has been resolved

I've had issues with a rep from Clearview Federal Credit Union before, and it seems like nothing has been resolved. Alicia calls me to remind me about my payment, but she's really rude and disrespectful. She should just remind me that my payment is due, not ask me when or how I made it when I already told her it's scheduled. I've already talked to management about this, but I still get the same treatment from Alicia. If she's my account rep, I want someone else assigned to me, or I'll go somewhere else for my banking needs.

Clearview Federal Credit Union Online credit card statements would say $0 due for monthly payment

Online credit card statements would say $0 due for monthly payment. They switched our credit card from Visa to MasterCard which messed up their online banking. Because of their broken website I was reported to credit agencies which hurt my credit. I made full payments when I realized I had money due, including past due amounts I didn’t know I had. Clearview refuses to admit and take any blame. They are unwilling to right any wrongs their online banking caused me. They are not sympathetic, and are only acting defensive. I have been their customer since 1999. I now wish and feel I have no choice but to terminate my accounts and be done with them.

Clearview Federal Credit Union I was told I had a refund comin' to my checkin' account from Amazon

I was told I had a refund comin' to my checkin' account from Amazon. Some guy named CJ told me (10/07/2022) he could see the refund, but it ain't gonna be approved for 2 days. He said to call back in 2 days if the refund ain't shown up yet. Well, them 2 days went by and still no deposit. I went to Clearview 'cause the answers I got on the phone weren't good enough. Now I can't even go to Clearview 'cause they banned me from the place. And 'cause of that, I can't even close my account. I been callin' Amazon and Clearview Corporate numbers tryin' to get some help, but nobody can tell me what happened. All I want is my refund. I also wanna close this account. I don't know what to do or who to talk to to get to the bottom of this mess. The manager wouldn't give me any contact info, and she told her bank tellers not to give me any info either. This all happened on 10/09/2022. I couldn't even get her name.

Clearview Federal Credit Union My complaint is about Account: *** and I found out about the problem today, June 2

My complaint is about Account: *** and I found out about the problem today, June 2. I opened the account on Oct 09, 2020, and back then, they didn't tell me about any fees. I'm pretty sure I asked them if there were no fees when I opened the account, and after they said there weren't any, I opened it and gave them a $10 deposit. Today, I went to the branch to close the account and they told me that I was charged with Low activity fees on April 30 and May 31. I spoke to Ms. Danielle B Assistant Manager, who argued that they had to tell me about the Low Inactivity Fee when I opened the account and the only reason I wasn't charged a monthly fee was because of the pandemic. I know for sure that this statement was wrong because I remember asking about fees. They gave me the attached account statement as I requested. I want them to credit back the $4 fee. Since I closed the account, I want them to mail me a $4-check.

Clearview Federal Credit Union I've been with this credit union for years and unfortunately, I recently experienced fraud on my account

I've been with this credit union for years and unfortunately, I recently experienced fraud on my account. It's important to note that the credit union is not at fault for this issue. However, because of the fraud, I can only make payments on my poweline account and I'm unable to make cash payments or other transactions without visiting the teller in person. The problem is, I only have one car and I now live 55 minutes away from the credit union.

My poweline payment is due on the 27th of each month, and after years of being a loyal customer, I was hit with a 30-day marker. I tried to make my deposit on the only day I could make it to the credit union. Unfortunately, there hasn't been any communication about using online banking to avoid the trip and pay from an external account, except for today.

I would really appreciate it if the 30-day marker could be removed. This situation is not ideal for me, especially since I arrived on time, made my deposit to the teller, and they had a delay in processing the funds. The lady named Joyce was kind enough to explain online banking, but no one ever informed me about it before. They were aware that I had been driving back and forth for these transactions.

To make matters worse, my credit score dropped by 45 points because of this incident, even though I've never been late on this account.

Clearview Federal Credit Union I got a Mastercard (MC) from Clearview Federal Credit Union (FCU)

I got a Mastercard (MC) from Clearview Federal Credit Union (FCU). Some sneaky charges were made on my card on May 9th and 10th, 2022. So, I called up MC on June 2nd, 2022 to report the fraud. They said they'd send me a new card and make a fraud report. But guess what? On June 23rd, 2022, I called FCU 'cause I still hadn't gotten the new card from MC. FCU told me they didn't have any record of a card being ordered or a fraud report being made. So, they transferred me to MC. The MC person confirmed that no new card was ordered and no report was filed. Finally, on June 28th, 2022, I got the new card, but the fraud charges were still there. Then, on July 11th, 2022, I got an email saying my account was behind on payments. I didn't even know 'cause I didn't get a statement for June 2022 and I didn't make any charges except for the fraud ones, which I thought were being taken care of 'cause I reported 'em. So, I called FCU on July 11th, 2022 and they kept transferring me back and forth between FCU and MC. They said they wouldn't do anything about my case unless I made a minimum payment on the fraud charges. So, I did what they asked and made a minimum payment on the fraud charges. Then, on July 20th, 2022, I got a fraud case number, but the fraud balance was still there and I still had to make a minimum payment on the fraudulent charge. FCU said they'd hurry up with the case. But on July 28th, 2022, MC said they'd bring in a supervisor and I'm still waiting for an update from FCU about the fraud charges. It's been almost 3 months of this back and forth, and the fraud charges are still on my account. I want 'em gone and my credit issues fixed.

Clearview Federal Credit Union In April '22, I used my debit card to buy a gift from a website

In April '22, I used my debit card to buy a gift from a website. But when I received the tracking number and saw that it was coming from Istanbul instead of the USA, I got worried. So, I called CVFCU on April 20, 2022. They told me to file a dispute, which I did. They also suggested canceling my card, but I didn't want to do that. The representative assured me that any future purchases would be transferred to the new card, so I went ahead with it. However, since April 2022, I haven't received any money back, even though they promised it would take 90 days, which later turned into 120 days.

To make matters worse, my account is not accepting any refunds as they had promised. They claimed to have approved returns for the two merchants, but they were declined because they weren't processed correctly by Clearview. I've tried calling, emailing, writing, and even visiting in person to dispute this issue. I have proof that the two merchants allowed refunds, but Clearview blocked them. I had to spend extra time because the representative forgot to submit them and I had to come back to sign the necessary documents. I've spoken to multiple people who said they would escalate the matter because it happened not just once, but three times (I managed to get cash for one refund). However, since then, no one has been able to see the issue, even though a representative initially acknowledged it as their fault.

It's clear that there's a problem with how my account was handled. Despite all my efforts, I haven't received a single phone call in the past five months to show that they are working on resolving the issue or keeping their promise to handle my money correctly. Today, out of frustration, I called again, but I was told that everyone had left for the day and a manager wouldn't even answer my call. They gave me an extension to call tomorrow. I've been a member since 2015, and I've never experienced such poor service and lack of follow-through in my life.

Clearview Federal Credit Union My husband works full time, he is a SSgt in the Marines and has been for 14yrs

My husband works full time, he is a SSgt in the Marines and has been for 14yrs. Because of the pandemic, the lack of childcare on the base regardless, and the fact that I have to stay home with our twin babies and my daughter...I am unable to work. So I provide no form of income... He is paying over $1k in childcare and because my daughter is not adopted by him yet, his child support is being increased because the courts will not include any of our children, so we are in the process of applying for welfare because of being financially drained... He gave me $75 to put into the stock market to see if it would generate anything, and I did so through my coinbase account. I have used coinbase a number of times before and for each payment for the last few years it has always drawn from my Navy federal account, which is my default payment method. When I made the purchases Feb 7th, I expected it to come out of my Navy federal account like it had done so any other time... I went to my Clearview app to add funds to my credit card we have been trying to keep up with and noticed my account through Clearview had a -$140 dollar balance... I haven't used the account and years and only kept the account open because I was told I needed the account open if I had the credit card open, which I learned now that the representative misinformed me. I immediately contacted Coinbase asking why my payments were drawn from a payment method I hadn't used in years Feb 9th and also contacted Clearview to express to them that this was done in error and that it withdrew from the wrong account and that I was trying to contact their customer service to figure out what happened and to have the payment withdrawn given this was not my fault. I was called by a representative at Clearview telling me that all I needed was to have Clearview send me a letter or email explaining that this was an error. I went to coinbase and corrected all of the payments that were kicked back and used the funds that were allocated for that. Days later, Clearview calls me and tells me that they removed the $5 daily overdraft fees and withdrew 1 of the overdraft fees but that they are making me pay the rest because they want coinbase now to prove the account was deleted from my coinbase, which was different than what they had initially stated to me before over the phone. (If they can pull the conversation since they are recorded that would be greatly appreciated) I had no idea that the payment method was even on there and whenever I have made payments before it had always withdrew from my Navy federal. I am still waiting for Coinbase to contact me and I have contacted them 3 times regarding this issue and have also filed a ComplaintsBoard.com complaint against them as well.
