Refunds
This has happened to me several times. I mailed a return to CC on 8/5. As of 9/6, had not received a refund. I called customer service today, and was told the item had been received, but no refund processed. Blamed this on the warehouse. After speaking further with the rep, found that refund would now be processed, but only for 1 item. I had returned 2 items, in the same package, but CC only showed 1 item. This was resolved, but it is irritating that I must keep all documentation and then finally call this company to get my money back. It seemed that if I had not called, there would have never been a refund.
Desired outcome: Just hope they can improve their customer service.
Sporadic shipping & all communication ignored
Coldwater Creek has always had the lovliest fashions and reliable service, but this is no longer the case. In fact, just trying to get the four articles of clothing I ordered two months ago is exasperating. Especially so when no one at Coldwater Creek chooses to answer my question. They cannot be reached by telephone or email, and when entering the order number at their site I'm told the "verified" order number is not valid. So there is virtually no way of reaching them even though we paid for the goods.
Three of the articles of clothing have come to me sporadically, and I'm still waiting for a blouse to arrive. I don't expect deliver overnight, but I do expect to receive all items ordered in the same package in a timely manner. I would think that two weeks should be long enough to wait for the full order.
I see that the items are supposed to ship from Florida. I've also read that the original Coldwater Creek sold to another group. It appears the the new Coldwater is really messing things up bad.
Right now however I would like to get the blouse I paid for and be done with this group. It's very disappointing this has happened to Coldwater Creek. They have become most unreliable and uncommunicative.
Desired outcome: Send me the rest of my order and I will say very sadly, "Good riddance."

I ordered above item on April 21, to be delivered in the US. It happens to be at a FedX location for 4-5 days. I am very disappointed in your service. I have ordered from you in the past. Nothing took this long to be delivered! To pay a generous price and get this type of service is not very smart. Your clothing is always top notch, and is worth the price. I know that you were out of business for a while, and then returned. Maybe you should concentrate on better service.

From a very large order I returned (at my expense) a pair of boots, exchanging them for a different size and color, listed on the website as available. I completed the paper return and included it in the package I returned. Then... crickets. No new item. No email or phone call for a status update. No tracking number on my website account. When I saw online that the return had been processed, I submitted a query on their contact form: where are my boots? No reply. Finally (3 weeks later) I call and find out that they were sold out of that item in all sizes and colors. Now I'm without the boots I expected to wear for the holidays, and they were not even the slightest bit apologetic about it. These days retail merchants need to give a lot more than Coldwater Creek gives its customers. Already high-priced, they charge for shipping and returns, and the unfeeling, inconsiderate customer service speaks for itself. I'm unsubscribing, canceling my account, and never shopping Coldwater Creek again.
dress returned and not given credit
Customer # E18AUE1003 order 1 dress (sku 14382 Everywear Crinkle Maxi, color 288 Cobalt)on May 21, 2018 that I didn't like so it was returned on June 8, 2018. Another one was SENT just like the above and this was also returned. The first one was given credit and the second one was NOT.
How can I get this credited to my credit card?
For your info I also sent for another dress May 20, 2018, order # [protected] which I kept.

I received a dress that had been backordered. I opened it and it had a noxious smell- much like gasoline. I believed I could get it out and I immediately took it to the washing machine and washed it. Dried it in the fresh air. The smell was almost 100% still there. I called customer service about a return and she told me (brightly) that I could not return it because I had washed it. She offered me a slight discount on a future purchase which I refused.
I have noticed lately that the gap is widening between good customer service and bad customer service. I have vowed to just quit purchasing from the the vendors who have poor customer service.
1. This is an unacceptable product, stinking of some chemical, and I'll bet mine is not the only one. No one even offered to check and see if there had been similar complaints.
2. I was not asking you to take my word, but offering to return it.
3. This was an expensive dress- money I threw away because I was accustomed to dealing with companies that stand behind their products.
I will be willing to discuss this although I have already tried.
Return process
Ordered a dress from www.coldwatercreek.com and when it arrived it was damaged! There was a small hole.
I contacted Coldwater Creek customer service and asked for a refund. They said that I have to send the dress back in order to get one. I paid for the return shipping and sent it back. Later I received a message from the post office stating that Coldwater Creek did not accept the package and that it was sent back to me.
I tried to contact them again to get some reasonable explanation, but they ignored me and did not reply.
Horrible Customer Experience
The Coldwater Creek that most people know went bankrupt in early 2014 and closed all of their retail stores. An investment firm bought up the assets and domain name and reopened as Coldwater Creek Direct, LLC in October, 2014. The new company doesn't have it's act together.
I placed an order of two items on Dec. 15 with the promise that they would be delivered by Christmas. Two days before Christmas I called to find out the status of my order and they couldn't find it! I was on hold for 15 minutes and finally was told that "it was being packed". I asked if it would still arrive by Christmas and they told me "Thursday". When I reminded them that that was Christmas Day, I asked if they would ship FedEx Next Day and they said they would. I asked if they would call me when that happened and once again they said that they would. Neither happened. And needless to say, the order did NOT arrive by Christmas!
I did receive one item in the order on the Saturday AFTER Christmas by regular USPS. I then called the following Monday to find out what happened to the second item, I was told it was out of stock. When I asked why I was not informed of that when I originally placed the order, they could not provide an answer.
I asked for the name of the President of the company in order to write a complaint letter, and was told that they could not give out that information. My research later discovered that it is David Walde, who was hired away from John Blair to run their operation,
This company does not have their act together, and so I'd advise to stay far away.
Shipment not Received in Time
On or about December 10, 2014, I ordered two items from Coldwater Creek for Christmas presents and received notification on December 11 that my order had been shipped. As of today, December 23, 2014, I have not received my order and called their Customer Service to inquire as to the status of the shipment. According to them, they seemed to have a computer glitch (!) and the shipments were delayed to December 17. While they apologized they stated that they had rectified the error and all shipments were upgraded to 2nd day delivery for tomorrow, December 24. They were kind enough to give me the FedEx tracking number and from there I went to FedEx to track my package. Imagine my surprise when I found out from FedEx that my package was on a boat (I live in Hawaii) and the Customer Service manager at Coldwater Creek had lied to me. I'm not receiving my package on December 24 but on January 2, 2015. When I called Coldwater Creek back and asked to speak to someone in authority Customer Service hung up on me and I had to call a third time to get an apology from Coldwater Creek (person stated they were looking at two screens and didn't notice my order was on a boat). I am refusing their package and would suggest that no one order from Coldwater Creek. Their Customer Service is truly lacking and their reputation shot. This is from someone who was a loyal customer before the bankruptcy.

Customer Service
Coldwater creek emailed a credit coupon for $9.94 for an item cancelled from an order. Today when I went to use it I was told it was only or $6.94 - $3.00 less than the email stated. The representative further stated that the representative that sent the email made a typo. Since it was their error they should have honored the amount stated in the email sent to me. It is horrible customer service to tell a customer that's to bad, but it was a typo and we cannot honor the amount. It's too bad that they do not value their customers and are Willing to loose a good customer over $3.00. Shame on you Coldwater Creek!

A PATICULAR STORE HAS FIRED OVER 5 EMPLOYEES WHO OPENED THE STORE AND ARE EXCELLENT EMPLOYEEES. WHY? BECAUSE THEY ARE ALL OVER THE AGE OF 54. I PRAY FOR THEIR SAKE THERE IS A CLASS ACTION SUIT AS IT IS GOING ON IN OTHER COLDWATER CREEK STORES. THEY ARE FIRING SEASONED QUALIFIED PRODUCING ASSOCIATES TO HIRE YOUNGER ASSOCIATES TO ATTRACT A YOUNGER CLIENTELE.
PLEASE DO NOT SHOP AT COLDWATER CREEK EITHER THE STORES OR THE CATALOG BUSINESS. THESE LADIES WERE HARD WORKING CONSIOUSNESS EMPLOYEES WHO ARE PROFESSIONAL SALESPEOPLE . SHAME ON COLDWATER CREEK MANAGEMENT FROM IDAHO TO MICHIGAN.

Did you know that Coldwater Creek spends almost 1 million dollars each year to make sure that you have fake xmas trees and wreaths in each store for you to see while you shop. It is true as I used to handle all of the shipping to each location. Do you not find it hippocritic that they should waste so much money on trucking(polluting the environment) in order to lure you into the stores to spend money on objects that are sold on the premise of american heritage without pollution and corruption? This is a terrible waste of our energy resources and also your money at the Coldwater Creek Stores. If you have any doubts please call Rocket at Coldwater Creek in Sandpoint Idaho [protected]), while she might be the rudest secretary that I have ever called, she will try to connect you with someone who cares about the price of merchandise minus the million dollar price tag of decorating a store with two trees and two wreaths during Xmas time.
