Poor Bad Service n Attitude

Today we went Coles Express to get coffees at 12.30pm on 7/10/23.
The lid won't fit cup so we asked a lady Manager, Joan, & she reluctantly brought some out. Then she took d rest back n dropped all over d floor. Shockingly we saw her ignoring the mess on d floor and she just walked away n do her own things. Is tat wat a Manager shud do? There were quite alot of customers in d shop n she don't help either. She always bullied the Indians n we witnessed a few times. Only 1 poor Indian guy serving at d counter. I worked n studied in Hospitality n Human Resources and I know team work n safety is very important. To me, this Mgr, Joan, doesn't seem fit to be a Mgr at all. Too arrogant n stuck up attitude n not helping one another in shop. She shud be sacked!With all d mess she done on the floors, why didn't she clean up her mess? What happens if old n young people slip n fall? Claim public liability?
Desired outcome: I strongly felt DISCRIMINATED n offended by d Mgr's attitude today. Very unprofessional n arrogant as a Manager.
I find all the Indian staff there works harder than the Manager, Joan.
She's very arrogant n lazy. Always bossing the staff around and she does nothing. The photo i took of her today in red was the Manager, Joan. She's short n plump. Sleepy look!
Customer service at rd (cnr windsor road) rouse hill nsw 2155
About 1:30 pm on 01/10/2023 I headed to the station in a white Toyota Corolla. I picked my son who bought so items from the shop and the went inside to use the toilet and buy some drinks.
The toilet was engaged and some mine was in there having a loud phone conversation.
Afternoon a couple of minutes I knocked in the door as I left my car running outside with mon son in it.
The guy screamed at me . I gave Hume some time to finish his phone call or other business,
The after giving more time I knocked for the third time. The person inside came about a minute after my last knock annd it turned out that he is a staff of the service station . He was angry and shouted at me: “what is your problem” . I answered him that I had being waiting for a while and that I left my son in the car. He continued with his aggressive behaviour and refused to give me his details when he walked away.
Desired outcome: I hope this complaint helps Cole’s express improve the quality of their customer Service
Being judged for my skin colour and appearance whilst filling up my fuel at 630 in the morning.
I was fueling up on the morning of 26th/8th/2023 and whilst in daylight I was singled out and asked to remove my hood even though my.face was fully visible for security cameras etc. I proceeded to enter the shop and confront the staff member and was met with arrogance and judgement. Highly unprofessional and I will not be using this service station again.. absolutely disgusting from a service station attendant.

And only received 10 cent fuel discount for purchasing toilet paper $22 in-store ?
Then I asked why and they said we don't know and you got 10 cents off anyway ( rudely) , could have got better discount from Woolworths petrol

Staff member taking drugs on site.
I have lodged a complaint with qld police as the staff member at this coles express service station was smoking drugs when I pulled in to get petrol there two Monday nights ago at approx 11pm.
This staff member was seen smoking on the surveillance cameras as the regional manager Paul Jack rang and told me this staff member was found to be doing this minutes before I pulled into get petrol.
I walked into a marijuana cloud at the front of the door entrance and I was petrified this service station was being held up.
The staff member had blood shot eyes and said he was sweating because he had been mopping.
This was all a lie.
I have severe ptsd and this has impacted me significantly. I have repeatedly called and asked for follow up on my formal complaint as not only was this a scary situation that I should never have been put in. Not one manager has apologised for what happened to me.
This staff member could have blown up the petrol station and is a massive safety risk.

U-haul trailer hire in fuel station car parking areas.
I have noticed on several occasions that your trailers are not parked within the marked parking bays at Shell Express, 193 Warwick Rd, Duncraig, WA. Some of the trailers are quite wide and are parked in marked bays on the western side of the petrol station. I have commented to counter sales staff at the fuel station on a couple of occasions in the past, advising them that the trailers are parked over the line meant to be for checking tyre pressures. They have said that the trailers are not their responsibility and I am not sure if they even spoke to the manager about the situation.
On Saturday 27 May 2023 at about 11am, there was a trailer at least 30cms inside the bay for checking pressures. Late last year, I took our Toyota Prado to this fuel station, in order to check the type pressures. While pulling into the marked car bay, I ended up scraping the front right corner of my vehicle on the side of the metal trailer. The car bay is quite narrow, with a curb on the other side to where the trailers are parked.
Desired outcome: I would very much appreciate it, if you could ensure that the trailers are not parked so that they overhang into car bays for checking tyre pressure. Staff at the fuel station need to regularly check on this.
Coles express at charnwood
At your charnwood express tonight I was declined service due to my proof of age card being from south Australia. I have only just moved here and do not drive and my proof of age card is all I have. Your employee did not listen to me as I explain to him why it's valid showed him the reflections and how it's valid and he refused to listen I had to drive around for 15 mins to another store to get my smokes after I had been at work all day. This is completely unacceptable.

8.00pm 1st April 2023 Drove over to coles express to fill up petrol for my car. Upon payment at the counter was Shamindi the cashier which was rude and impatient. There wasn’t anyone behind me but she couldn’t wait for flybuys card and linkt voucher to be scanned. Most dreadful unpleasant and rude comments kept saying she can’t be waiting as people are coming in. So I did the right to let others go ahead while I try to pay after them using flybuys and linkt voucher for 4cents off. Was forced to pay and get out of the store due to her harsh harassment. Even the ladies behind me were shocked and treated equally rude. The cashier was harassing the lady “can’t you just tell me the pump number?”. Can you hurry up as everyone is waiting in store?
If you can be patient and serve your customers I don’t believe she belongs there.

At 7:17pm on the 16 the of march decided to call me a [censored] and be inappropriate.
Dimple the worker also turned off my petrol twice refusing petrol.
I received the gift cards from a domestic violence centre and should not be treated in a manner

Customer service attitude
The name on the receipt is Anu. From coles express north store on Christmas day around 1.20pm. It was an indian girl who ruined all my Christmas mood.
I would like to lodge a complaint against her rude attitude showing me rude face.
I asked to purchase 1 x $25 and 1 x $50 gift card. She scanned the $25 first then $50 second. But when she wrote on the value on the card I questioned her because i knew it was the wrong value.
I questioned her and she say it was right. When i walked away, i carefully checked the receipt against the gift card and it was incorrect. I then lined up and told her she wrote the wrong amount and her rude with no manners attitude told me it was correct and she don’t care. She then showed me her annoying face and wrote $50 on $25 and $25 on $50.
I tried to tell her it is not a nice thing for her to make such mistake because I’m gifting this gift cars to stranger who are coming to my house.
What would my guest who receive the $50 gift card with $25 value on it only think about me?
And the guest who then receive the $25 gift card with $50 value on it now knowing theres extra money in it.
The girl who served me then say its my job to check the receipt.
I am complaining because i felt so insulted and embarrassed in front of other customers who don’t understand what is going on. People like her don’t care about customers. She show me her [censored] face when i nicely explained to her. I am not there to fight. But her attitude is really horrible.
I hope the manager will check the CCTV footage and teach her basic customer service.
If you made a mistake, shut up and apologise. Your customer will move on. Everyone make mistake. I totally understand but she started the arguement. For god sake, if she make a mistake, Admit and solve it. Not showing the F****** [censored] face and ask customer to go and check against the receipt. It is not my job. I dont come and spend here and get treated like this.
Seriously, i hate this cranbourne north store, especially this indian girl who has no manners at all.
Desired outcome: I want the store manager to investigate the issue. If the management think I am being unreasonable, then I will accept it. If the management agrees that the girl attitude is bad, I expect an apology for ruining my Christmas mood.

I am a regular customer to Coles Express in Mooroolbark but recently a tall Indian man, whos name I believe is Harry, has had some fairly bad body odor but today it was extremely offensive as he was walking around the store filling the shelves. Also from what I have seen he seems to do little actual work within the store and instead just sits out in the back area.
Desired outcome: I would like someone, please, to have a word with him about his odor.
Customer service at coles express rouse hill

I had a very bad experience with Coles express in Rouse Hill.
I went to fill the fuel in my car on 14 Jan., 2023 at around 5.00 P.M. While making the fuel payment, I requested for an ice coffee at the counter. Ganesh, the attendant at the counter, suggested that I can take the cups from the left-hand side and fill the coffee from the end of the store.
I followed the instructions and, when I was filling the ice coffee, the machine showed me an error. I immediately called the attendant, he was busy filling the fridge, hence, I waited for him. After waiting for some time, I requested him again to look at the coffee machine.
The moment he looked at the machine, he started yelling at me by saying that I have made a wrong cup selection. I said that I have followed the procedure suggested to me.
Now, this gentleman asked the person Ganesh who was at the counter, and both started laughing at me. He said it is common sense to get the coffee-cup from inside the fridge and not the ones hanging outside.
To my surprise, the attendant at the Coles laughing at the customer and making fun of the situation was a very displeasing experience. I have followed the instructions, however, taking the coffee cup from inside the fridge was never communicated and does not sound to me as an obvious choice. This is the first and last time I am taking the ice coffee from any Coles express station.
My thought is that even if I have made a wrong coffee cup selection, it does not give the right to Coles express staff members to yell and laugh at the customer. Though I have argued for this behaviour, however, I felt humiliated with the tone and laugher I have experienced at Coles express Rouse Hill.
Not a pleasant customer experience, all together.

Staff Wicks Road North Ryde
Tuesday 11 October - went into this store at 5.10am (would be earlier but they alreadys turn up late). I am a regular to this store every Tuesday. The rude [censored] yell across the store whilst another customer was present, for me to use tongs. I had taken a donut out of the not properly closed (as usual) cabinet. Firstly, I understand why one has to use tongs, but there is a polite way to deliver a message. He should politely say something to me when going to pay. Secondly, not all disabilities are obvious. I have had 10 surgeries on my ulnar nerves leaving me with disabilities for which I am not having to receive disability pension. This means I have no motor skills and even struggle just putting sugars in coffee during the winter. This means I can also not use a knife and fork so to try and use tongs - impossible. Other Coles Express stores such as West Ryde have manners to the other extreme and help. In addition, 3 weeks ago I feel and broke my left elbow and damaged rotator cuff. It is not plastered as this is an area they do not plaster. So how would this idiot expect me to, with one arm that has damaged nerves, use tongs to get a donut out. He would have known this if he HAD ASKED POLITELY, not yell across the service station. I WILL NEVER RETURN TO THIS STORE. He should go do a course in customer service skills as he obviously has none
Desired outcome: Get staff who have customer service skills and manners. Also ones that understand and speak English
Contaminated Petrol
I got my car fuel tank filled from Coles Express Mount Waverley on 7th Oct 2022. After riding just 5-10 kms my started jerking and stopped in middle of the road. I had to call Nationwide Road Side Assistance to tow my car to Mazda Mulgrave. After diagnose it was shocking to know that car got damaged because of Contaminated Petrol which I filled around just 15-20 mins before it stopped. I am attaching all the proofs and would request you to compensate my bills and harassment which I faced during these days.

Really Bad customer service
Today(09/10/2022) I had a really bad experience at coles express service station while purchasing a coffee. The lady at the counter was very rude and treated me very badly. It was around 12:30pm today that this incident happened. I tried to scan my flybuys after purchasing a small coffee but she said the machine is not working sorry. I told her you can do it manually as I know your scanning machine stops very often and I'm your regular customer. She made a very bad face and said ok I'll try it manually. The she entered the flybuys number and said its all done go ahead. I told her its not done as its not showing up on the screen "Flybuys Accepted". Then again she made a really bad face and said oh my bad I'll try again manually and after two attempts when it was scanned finally she asked me to pay $1 for the coffee. I told her I've got fuel docket discount to either get 4c per litre off or a free small coffee, i would like to go with free small coffee and then she said you have nothing like that in my system. I showed her my flybuys app in the phone which was clearly saying about the offer. Then at last again after making bad faces and bad expressions she agreed and said all good okay. I am very disappointed with the customer service. I live close to the service station and always shop here regularly but this is the second chance with the same old lady here. I want to find out why am I’m banned from coles express
Hey I I like to make a complaint on why am I banned from the coles express store in west wyalong they didn’t tell me how long I was banned for and I didn’t do anything wrong as my friend got us all banned so why should I be banned coz of him. I like to be unbanned from the store as I always go in the and get food and drinks after work and there is no other service station open after 11pm.

I purchased fuel & 9-11 Robert’s Rd Greenacre NSW this morning, the advertise price was $189.9 but on receipt it was shown as $206.9, a big disparity, I did not read the receipt until I drove away from the Coles Express premises, I believe I am entitled to a full refund of the difference in the advertised price & the actual price at the point of payment. Hello Team,
I purchased baby formula milk from Coles in Myer center, Brisbane City. I checked out at self service counter.
At home, my wife noticed that there is a red fixed seal on the top of the box which can only be unsealed at the Cole store. The Cole store was closed by that time and we struggled to feed our new born whole night.
My complaint is that why a fixed sealed item was allowed to checked out without any attendant assistance. There is no disclaimer written on the box or on the milk shelf. To me, it looked like an air tight container seal.
A mild hooter went off when I exit the store, but security guard reacted like I need to ignore the alarm.
It wasted my 1 hour and our peace of mind whole night as our child was not full. I am looking for compensation.

Home delivery
I am in quarantine and I placed my order four days before it was to be delivered. I ordered food for the time as I am not able to go out to get food myself. Coles has point-blank refused to supply all four items of scotch fillet I ordered four days in advance. They sent me a fail to dispatch email after they had closed the order thus giving me no opportunity to cancel the entire order and shop elsewhere. I have contacted the complaints section and they are running with the we will provide feedback line. I cant eat their feedback. I told them I want my meat and I want it today. It isnt an unreasonable request. I want what I ordered and I want it today!
