ConnectingThreads: Top-Notch Customer Service!
I gotta say, I've been a customer of ConnectingThreads for a while now and their customer service is just top-notch! I mean, I haven't been buying as much from them lately since they started carrying other fabric companies' lines, but I gotta admit, their prices aren't as good as they used to be when they only had their own fabric line. It's been a bit of a struggle for me to find fabrics that blend well with my stash, you know?
But let me tell you, their customer service is just out of this world! I've been shopping with them for years and I've only had a couple of errors on my orders. But every time I called to explain what happened, they were so quick to fix the problem and they even let me keep the items they sent in error at no extra charge! And they were just so courteous about it too, you know? It's like they really care about their customers and they want to make sure we're happy with our purchases.
I mean, we're all human, right? Mistakes happen. But the way ConnectingThreads handles these mistakes is just superior, in my opinion. Kindness really does go a long way with me, and I appreciate it so much when a company takes the time to make things right. So yeah, if you're looking for a company with great customer service, I'd definitely recommend ConnectingThreads!
Connecting Threads: Quality Fabrics and Top-Notch Customer Service
I've been buying from Connecting Threads for quite some time now, and I must say, I'm pretty impressed with their products. Their own brand of fabric is something that I really love. The white solid is my go-to choice for quilting applications, and I prefer it over other fabric brands. It has a really nice feel to it, and it's perfect for piecing and machine quilting. I'm also quite fond of their chambray blenders; they look great and feel amazing. I really hope they keep them in stock permanently.
Their order fulfillment turnaround time has improved over the years, and I usually receive my order within a week, although it can take up to ten days. They're also pretty accurate with their orders, and if there's ever an error, they're quick to correct it. I've only had a few errors in my orders, but they were rare and were always resolved to my satisfaction.
Overall, I'm a satisfied customer of Connecting Threads, and I would definitely recommend them to other seamstresses and quilters. Their products are of great quality, and their customer service is top-notch. If you're looking for a reliable source of quilting and sewing supplies, look no further than Connecting Threads.
Terrible Experience with ConnectingThreads: Slow Shipping and Lack of Communication
ConnectingThreads, the online store, should be avoided at all costs! I recently ordered from them, and I have been incredibly unsatisfied with my experience. I can tell you one thing: I will never order anything from this website again.
Firstly, the shipping method they used was the SLOWEST possible option available. I received a tracking number eight days ago, and my order is still "en route" with an estimated delivery time of another six days. Shockingly, it's held in a warehouse in the town right next to mine, which is ridiculous. I could drive there and pick it up myself, but I can't do that due to their shipping methods. This is completely unacceptable. To make matters worse, ConnectingThreads didn't mention that this order would take such a long time to be delivered, and the item can be easily purchased from other sources.
I found myself at a total loss as to why they would use DHL's snail-like shipping services instead of others like the Post Office, FedEx, or UPS. I would have been able to receive my order in a fraction of the time if they had!
Overall, my ConnectingThreads experience was a headache, with nothing to show for it. The slow shipping and lack of communication is frustrating, and it makes me question how they run their business. Save yourself time (and money!), and choose another store that will appreciate you and give you much better shipping options.
Disappointing Experience with ConnectingThreads Website Ordering & Packaging
Ordered a couple of times from ConnectingThreads website recently and was not very satisfied with my experience. The delivery time was way longer than expected, which left me waiting impatiently for the package to arrive. However, once it was delivered, I was faced with another disappointment - the packaging of the items was really shoddy and unappealing, which made me feel like I wasn't getting what I paid for.
Specifically, the fabric I received was folded inside-out and haphazardly packed into small plastic bags which caused it to become quite wrinkled and creased. The "kit" I ordered was just thrown into another bag with the pattern essentially folded in half, resulting in it being scrunched up in the middle of the bundle of fabric. The fat quarter bundle was just a poorly cut stack of fabric with a lot of selvage still attached, and it was stacked together with no neat folding or bundling - making it look like it was merely shoved into the small bag with total disregard for its customer.
I must say, I expected more from ConnectingThreads and was hugely disappointed with the overall quality of my order and packaging. This entire experience just didn't meet my expectation. I had hoped to receive something carefully packaged and well-cut, which would reflect the high standards that they supposedly pride themselves on. Unfortunately, my experience was quite different, and I certainly won't be using their services again.

ConnectingThreads Review: Slow Shipping & Fabric Snags
I gonna tell you guys about my experience with ConnectingThreads. I put my money down for two orders from this site - the first one arrived four days later, which was no biggie, but problem was that the jelly roll had some knicks cut into the folds. I had to replace several strips. It was a bit of a bummer to have to put in extra effort to fix those strips, but it happened.
My second order took longer and I wasn't too happy about that. I ordered on a Wednesday, but didn't receive it until the following Tuesday and by then it was too late as I needed the fabric on the weekend. Instead of apologizing for the delay I was given several excuses as to why my order hasn't shipped in 6 days and is still not ready to ship. They are behind! I think maybe other shops could ship things way faster.
You know, every other online quilt shop I order from, I receive my goods in three to five days. Connecting Threads needs to change their statement that they ship in 1-2 business days and learn how to handle customer complaints as it appears they receive many. Learn to say you are sorry and you will take care of the problem.
All in all, it wasn't a total disaster but it wasn't great either. I'm not too sure if I would recommend Connecting Threads if you're looking for something speedy, but if you don't mind waiting a bit longer and maybe have some extra fabric around in case of snags or nicks, it might be worth looking into.
Connecting Threads Fabric Review: Complete Disaster - Fabric Falls Apart!
I got tons of fabric from Connecting Threads, which I washed beforehand like I always do, you know, PRE-washed and all. I was so excited to make my grandson the "Labyrinth Walk" quilt that I could hardly contain myself. However, this was one long and complicated quilt that took me hours and hours and hours and hours, but it was all worth it when it was finally finished. I was so proud of myself for having completed such a feat.
Feeling accomplished, I decided to wash the quilt one more time before giving it to my grandson. But to my dismay, to my horror, and to my utter shock, all the fabric started FALLING APART on every single seam, which, I may add, were hundreds, if not thousands! Holy cow! It was a disaster! I couldn't believe my own eyes. There were tangled knots of threads EVERYWHERE, gaping HOLES where the fabric had shredded BEYOND the seams, and so on and so forth. Man, it was such a hot mess!
As an experienced sewer, I've never encountered such an ordeal before or felt so discouraged in my entire life. So, I decided to contact Connecting Threads and sent them pictures of the shredded fabric. But, you won't believe what they told me, they said they HAVEN'T had any other complaints like mine. Can you believe it? I mean, I find it hard to believe that I'm the ONLY ONE who had experienced such distress.
So, if you plan on buying from Connecting Threads, BEWARE! This could happen to you too. I wish I could give them ZERO stars because this was a complete disaster!
Customer Support Disappoints: My Experience with ConnectingThreads Subscription
So, I decided to give ConnectingThreads a try and signed up for their Block of the Month subscription. As a total newbie to quilting, I was excited to have access to a Facebook support group. Unfortunately, when I reached out for help, I didn't receive any response from the main FB group. Frustrated, I tried messaging them through Facebook messenger and received an automated response with a phone number.
When I called the number, I was greeted by a person who was unable to help me. Feeling helpless, I asked what else I could do, and the representative suggested I send an email. After sending an email, I received a prompt response from Kara at the Connecting Threads support team. Although it was a bit short and sweet, I was grateful that someone had responded to my plea for help. Kara mentioned that she had looped in their department heads for review and assured me that they were working on it.
While I appreciated the response, I couldn't help but feel underwhelmed by the overall experience. The fact that the same phone number was provided to me twice, and that only a bot seemed to have been available to assist me, made me feel like the company prioritized sales over customer support. As someone who is just starting out on their quilting journey, I was hoping to have a better experience with Connecting Threads.
Disappointing Experience with ConnectingThreads: Inaccurate Yardage, Poor-Quality Fabric, and Slow Shipping
I purchased from ConnectingThreads three separate occasions and, unfortunately, each time I experienced unfavorable issues. Firstly, I faced a discrepancy in yardage--specifically, the white fabric I had planned to use for a project was short by one yard and two inches, even though I was charged for four yards. It's quite puzzling how a reputable fabric company like ConnectingThreads could have difficulties measuring out four yards--it's just a basic requirement of running a business, right? Additionally, the fabric quality was lower than anticipated, which was a letdown. I was hoping for first-rate quality, but the materials were subpar.
When I reached out to Customer Support regarding this issue, it took quite some time before I received a response. In fact, it's been a while now and I still haven't heard back. Unfortunately, the shipping times were also longer than expected, causing frustration in the whole process of creating my quilt. I had to reorder the fabric, but the long shipping times caused further delays in my project. To make matters worse, I'm hesitant to even open my latest package from ConnectingThreads, as I am concerned it too will be short.
I was excited to make my quilt, but the weak-quality white fabric frayed so easily. I'm hoping it can hold up just long enough to finish it, but I'm already scratching my head as to how long-lasting the final product will be without using higher-quality fabric. At this point, I've decided that I will use fabric.com instead, as they consistently produce high-quality products and provide exceptional Customer Service.
In conclusion, I am quite dissatisfied with my experiences with ConnectingThreads. The fact that my yards of fabric were cut inaccurately, in conjunction with the delay in shipping and poor-quality fabric, is a disservice to customers. Customer satisfaction is a fundamental component of any business, and as a result, I will not be shopping with ConnectingThreads in the future.
Amazing Customer Service Experience at Connecting Threads
Been shopping at Connecting Threads for years now and I gotta say, they never fail to impress me! I just gotta spill the beans on my latest experience with them. So, I made a order of fabric worth about $65 for a quilt (which, by the way, turned out fabulous!) and had it set aside for a bit so I wouldn't get distracted from finishing up my current project. Fast forward a whole month and I finally opened the box! I was so excited to start on my next project, but when I got to the border I realized that I didn't receive the 2 1/2 yards that I had ordered for the outside border. I was devastated - that fabric was the most expensive one in my order! I was hesitant to contact their customer service, thinking that I'd be met with attitude or be told that it was too late to do anything about it.
But, I psyched myself up and made the call. The girl who answered was so sweet and understanding! I told her about my missing fabric and she was just as surprised as I was that it wasn't in the package. After a brief hold, she came back and told me that they'd ship the missing fabric out to me right away! I was ecstatic! I never expected such fantastic customer service. Honestly, I was already feeling down, but the way she handled the situation made my day.
I'm beyond thrilled with how this all panned out. I'll definitely keep shopping with them. Another thing I really like is how quickly all my purchases are delivered. Usually, I get everything I ordered within a week! Thank you so much to the team at Connecting Threads for making my quilting experience so much better!
Poor Customer Service: My Experience with ConnectingThreads.com
I recently made a big purchase on ConnectingThreads.com, worth almost $500. One of the items that I ordered was a sewing machine from the manufacturer and there were no problems with that. However, I also ordered a quilt kit and some rotary blades, which were not shipped with the machine for some reason. So I waited and waited for the other items to arrive while I checked their website and saw that the items were "processing". It wasn't until another week passed that the website finally updated and said that the items had been shipped, but I didn't receive any notification from them about the shipping details.
I tried reaching out to their customer service multiple times over the next few weeks, but they never responded. I sent them multiple emails asking about the status of my shipment and if they had any tracking information, but received no reply. I couldn't get them to respond to my simple questions or even acknowledge my emails. Another two weeks went by and I still had not heard anything from them. I was getting frustrated at this point and decided to file a Pay Pal claim for the charges. But even then, they didn't respond to Pay Pal either.
I went to their Facebook page and expressed my frustration about how they had been handling my order. Their response was that they were very busy and behind on responding to emails. But being 5 weeks behind is no excuse for ignoring customers. I run a small business myself and if a customer has a question or problem, we always make sure to respond the same day. We also send a shipping notice with tracking information for every order that we ship. So there's really no excuse for this kind of neglectful customer service.
All in all, I would not recommend connectingthreads.com to anyone. They may have good quality products, but their customer service is seriously lacking. If they can't even respond to an email in 5 weeks, then they should probably reconsider being in this business altogether.
Exceptional customer service and care from Connecting Threads: A review
I recently purchased a lovely EverSewn Sewing Starter Kit from Connecting Threads and I was absolutely thrilled when it arrived, packed to perfection and on time! The service I received from the operator was great. They were kind to me and I appreciate that since I am not so good with the internet. The operator was knowledgeable and I could tell they really cared about their customers.
I eagerly opened the package to get my hands on my new kit and my very first pair of fabric shears. Unfortunately, my excitement quickly turned to disappointment when I saw that they were plastic and unbalanced and they could barely even cut through paper! Feeling disappointed, I immediately called Connecting Threads to express my concerns. Their representative, Jamie, was so kind and understanding. She listened to me as I explained my situation and sympathized with me.
I wondered what I could do, since I didn't want to return the whole box. However, Jamie quickly put my worries to rest and told me to search for scissors on their website. She pointed out a fancy pair of scissors and asked me if I liked them. I was skeptical at first since the scissors that came with the kit probably cost just $3, but Jamie brushed it aside and informed me that they would replace them. I was extremely happy and relieved that they were willing to rectify the situation.
Throughout the process, Jamie was nonplussed and friendly. I couldn't believe how helpful and accommodating she was. While the scissors that I originally received were not the best, the response that I got from Jamie and the team at Connecting Threads was incredible. They truly care about their customers and want them to have the best possible experience. This level of service is simply unparalleled!
In a time where there is so much uncertainty and fear, Connecting Threads has given me hope and joy. Their unexpected kindness has left me feeling over the moon and with a renewed faith in humanity. I am so impressed by their commitment to their customers and their willingness to help. If you're looking for high-quality sewing supplies, look no further than Connecting Threads! To Jamie and the rest of the team - thank you so much for everything, be safe!
Annoyed and Disappointed: My Terrible Experience with ConnectingThreads
I'm so annoyed by ConnectingThreads. I mean, I ordered so much essentials thread because a friend of mine said it was low-lint thread. But what a joke it turned out to be! After I opened several sets and tried out three spools, my machine got so gummed up with lint that I had to take it in for service. I was pretty ticked off when that happened to me.
Initially, I was kind of relieved that their customer service was helpful. They offered to replace or refund with return, but I opted for a return because the thread didn't work with my machine. I dutifully sent back all the thread, except for three rolls they told me to keep since I'd opened them and they were leaving lint in my machine.
I put everything in a secure box and returned it with the postage-paid label that they gave me. But then, I waited and waited for a refund. I only got notice after several weeks that they'd refunded me. But when I checked my account, I realized they only refunded half of what I expected. Now, why is that?
So, I fired off a few emails, asking why I only got a partial refund. I didn't see their response because it got stuck in my spam folder. Apparently, they didn't send it using "Connecting Threads" email as the sender, but rather a personal email from one of their employees. That's legit shady, if you ask me.
To make matters worse, I called them today and they told me I hadn't returned all the thread. As a result, they deducted some amount from my refund. What a bunch of bull! I spent 80 bucks on thread that gummed up my machine, and I returned everything, exactly like I promised! But in return, I only got about 53 bucks back. What the heck? That's a big difference of 27 dollars!
The lady on the phone also said they emailed me and claimed that I hadn't returned all the thread. When I checked my spam folder, I did manage to find the email. But again, it was from an employee's personal email, not from Connecting Threads. I'm starting to get very suspicious of these people.
Either the post office delivered a damaged package with missing contents, which you'd think they'd catch and report back to me--or someone's lying or just incompetent in the returns department. Maybe someone made a little typo or something, but their insistence that I didn't return the thread strikes me as very sketchy.
When I suggested to them that they check the weight of the package (since they paid for the label anyway and they should get a weight bill for shipping), they didn't sound like they were interested in doing that. So, here I am stuck out of pocket for 35 bucks, and I'll also have to pay 140 bucks to get my machine cleaned. On top of that, I'll be without my machine for several weeks while it's serviced. Ugh!
I'm pretty steamed about the whole situation. Honestly, I don't think I'll ever buy anything from Connecting Threads again, and I'm going to encourage other people to avoid them as well. There are plenty of other shops out there with much better customer service than these guys. And for the record, I've been sewing for 50 years, make 30 quilts annually, spend hundreds of dollars every month on fabric, and I have zero interest in keeping thread that wrecked my machine.

ConnectingThreads Review: Limited Thread Colors and Inconsistent Shades
I've ordered from ConnectingThreads before and I have to say, I'm not too impressed. The thread color I received was not the same as the older spools I had, which was a real bummer. I needed the color Taupe and thought I had enough, but unfortunately, I didn't. This has happened to me before with ConnectingThreads and it's starting to become a pattern.
I understand that colors can vary from batch to batch, but it's frustrating when you're trying to match a specific shade and it's just not the same. It makes me hesitant to order from them again in the future.
On the plus side, their prices are pretty reasonable and their website is easy to navigate. However, I do wish they had more variety in their thread colors. It seems like they only have a limited selection compared to other online retailers.
Overall, I would say that ConnectingThreads is an okay option for basic thread needs, but if you're looking for a specific color match, you might want to look elsewhere.
Disappointed with Credit: Lost Money on Returns
So, I was pretty shocked when I saw that my credit was $14.03 less than what I originally paid. I mean, come on, the shipping was only $5.99, so even if they charged me twice that, it would only be $11.98. It's a bit of a bummer, because now I'm not sure if I want to shop here again. I don't want to risk losing more money on returns.
ConnectingThreads Fabric Review: Disappointing Quality and Fraying Issues
I gotta say, I've tried out a bunch of different fabrics in my time, but ConnectingThreads really takes the cake. I mean, I've never seen anything like it before, and not in a good way. The fabric is just so darn bad that it's causing my quilt top to fray like crazy on the back. I'm at a loss for what to do about it, and it just keeps getting worse the more I try to fix it. I'm starting to wonder if I should even bother finishing it on the longarm, or if it's just a lost cause.
I mean, don't get me wrong, I was really excited to try out ConnectingThreads. I'd heard so many good things about it from my quilting buddies, and I was really looking forward to seeing what all the fuss was about. But man, was I disappointed. The fabric just doesn't hold up like it should, and it's really putting a damper on my quilting mojo.
I'm not sure if I got a bad batch or what, but I'm definitely not impressed with ConnectingThreads. I've had to spend so much time trying to salvage my quilt top that I'm starting to regret ever buying this fabric in the first place. It's just not worth the hassle, you know?
All in all, I wouldn't recommend ConnectingThreads to anyone. There are plenty of other fabric brands out there that are much better quality and won't cause you nearly as much grief. Save yourself the trouble and steer clear of this one.

ConnectingThreads: Great Selection and Prices, but Fraying Fabrics Disappoint
I bought the Entwined quilt kit from ConnectingThreads and was a bit disappointed when I noticed that it was frayed. At first, I thought it was just the Americana Collection that had this issue, but then I purchased some yardage from another collection and those pieces also frayed. I really hope that CT can fix this problem because their color, print, and theme choices are absolutely stunning. It's really discouraging to put so much effort into creating a quilt only to see it unravel before your eyes. Despite this issue, I still think that CT is a great place to shop for quilting supplies. They have a wide variety of fabrics and patterns to choose from, and their prices are very reasonable. I also appreciate that they offer free shipping on orders over $50. Overall, I would recommend CT to anyone who loves quilting and is looking for high-quality supplies at a great price.
Disappointed with ConnectingThreads' Fabric Recommendations
I gotta say, I've had some pretty good experiences with ConnectingThreads in the past. But let me tell you, my most recent interaction with them left me feeling pretty bummed out. I was trying to figure out what fabrics would match this panel I had my eye on, so I decided to hit up their chat feature on the website. The rep gave me some suggestions, and I ended up buying three of the panels along with five different fabrics that were supposed to match.
Well, let me tell you, only one of those fabrics actually went with the panels. The rest were a total miss. And now I'm stuck with them, because returning stuff is such a hassle. I mean, come on, ConnectingThreads, I trusted you guys to give me good advice on what to buy! I'm pretty disappointed that the customer service rep was so off on the colors.
Don't get me wrong, I'll still shop with them in the future. But I'll definitely be more cautious about relying on their recommendations. It's a bummer, because I really do like their stuff. But hey, you win some, you lose some, right?
Terrible Experience with ConnectingThreads: Slow Shipping and Lack of Communication
ConnectingThreads, the online store, should be avoided at all costs! I recently ordered from them, and I have been incredibly unsatisfied with my experience. I can tell you one thing: I will never order anything from this website again.

ConnectingThreads: Your One-Stop Shop for Quality Fabrics!
ConnectingThreads got me covered with all my fabric needs. I have been eyeing on their website for a while and finally took the plunge. The fabric quality is pretty good, not too thick and not too thin. I ordered the pre-cut fabric and was a bit disappointed with the quantity. It was not enough to cover what I needed to sew. But next time, I will make sure to purchase extra fabric to avoid running out. Overall, I am satisfied with my purchase and will be returning for more fabric shopping.
Disappointing Experience with ConnectingThreads - No Response to Emails and Delayed Delivery
I dunno, man. I was real excited when I first stumbled across ConnectingThreads. They had some real sweet deals on quilting fabrics, y'all. So I went ahead and placed an order and sat back to wait for my goodies.
That was over a month ago, though, and lemme tell you - them goodies still ain't arrived. I dunno what's going on over there, but I've emailed them twice and haven't gotten a peep back. And trust me, I don't tend to nag folks over nothin'.
So, I mean, I hate to say it, but I'm not real impressed with ConnectingThreads. If this is how they treat their customers, I wouldn't suggest anyone else give 'em their business. Save yourself the hassle - go somewhere that won't leave you hanging.
Disappointing experience with ConnectingThreads: slow shipping and poor customer service
I ordered from ConnectingThreads and was disappointed by their slow shipping and lack of response to my concerns. When I placed my order, they charged my credit card right away, but then shipped my fabric via regular postal service which took two weeks to arrive from Georgia to Alabama. I was also not impressed by their lack of customer service - they promised to respond to my concerns via email but never got back to me.
To make matters worse, the first order I received went to the wrong address because their shipping label was so faded. It was frustrating to have to go through the hassle of figuring out where my package had ended up and trying to track it down.
Overall, I would not recommend ConnectingThreads for fabric purchases based on my experience with them. While their fabric may be of good quality, the slow shipping and lack of customer service make it not worth the wait.
Connecting Threads Review: Unreliable Shipping & Wrong Orders
Connecting Threads is a website that's supposed to sell fabric, but I had a really bad experience with them. For one thing, they take way too long to ship your order. I had to wait almost three weeks to get what I ordered, and that's just unacceptable. But that's not even the worst part.
When I called to confirm that my order had been shipped, they claimed it was already in the warehouse and couldn't be cancelled. That's pretty sketchy if you ask me. And apparently they have multiple websites, but not enough people to handle all of their orders. What kind of business is that?
To make matters even worse, I received someone else's order instead of my own on multiple occasions. This meant I had to wait even longer to get what I actually ordered. It's incredibly frustrating when you're excited about getting your hands on some nice fabric, only to find out that it's not what you actually ordered.
Overall, I wouldn't recommend Connecting Threads to anyone. Sure, the fabric might be nice, but if they can't keep up with the business end of things, what's the point? Save yourself the trouble and find a website that actually knows how to handle their orders.
Buyer Beware: Review of ConnectingThreads Precuts
ConnectingThreads is not the best option for purchasing precuts as they may not meet your expectations. From personal experience, the precuts received were not what they seemed to be. The packaging was not up to par and the measurements were not precise. It can also be confusing to understand the fabric yardage on the invoice which can lead to buying less fabric than you intended. Initially, the precuts seem like a great deal for the price but then you realize that there are only a few in each collection. This means that if you want multiples of the same print, you must order multiple precut collections which can add up. The edges of the precuts are not pinked, so they fray a lot more than you would expect. If you are unhappy with your order contents or have any questions, customer service is not very quick to respond which can be frustrating as a customer. In conclusion, when it comes to purchasing precuts, be cautious when buying from ConnectingThreads.
About ConnectingThreads
One of the unique selling points of ConnectingThreads is the affordability of their products.
