Dining chairs
I ordered 8 dining at Coricraft on 12 March 2021, I paid in full and was told lead time is 8 weeks.
Today, 30 May 2021 I have not received my dining chairs, I do not have any feedback from Coricraft when I will receive them nor do I get any contact. The Coricraft Clearwater store, with the manager being Tesoro, is not taking ownership of the complaint and keeping me updated or trying to keep me happy, they have passed me over the the supervisor who does not call me back even thought I have called her numerous times. I will never buy anything from them again.
Desired outcome: Dining chairs immediately
Bad service regarding a bad product
I have lodged a complaint with the greenstone store on the 21 April 2021 regarding the manufacture fault on the couch that I only received October 2020. I indicated that the couch collapses on the sides. The store had indicated that they will send assessors to come and assess if the couch should be repaired or replaced. I am still waiting. No follow up of feedback has been done. I hope they are not wasting time so that my warranty expires. I don't expect such bad service from coricraft.
Desired outcome: The couch to be repaired as soon as possible
Complaint
I purchased 3 duvet covers last year from the Clearwater branch. I have always received excellent quality products from you guys. However this time the quality from one of the duvet covers was so disappointing. 3 of the buttons came off in the wash the first time round.
The buttons had pieces of string sticking out when I first opened it. Clearly the sewing job was very badly done. The other 2 duvets was perfect as always. I just cant understand the poor workmanship on the one. I was very disappointed as I have never bougt something at coricraft with such poor craftmanship. I do not have the slip anymore yet feel that I payed a good amount of money for a sub par item. Please let me know what I stand to do.

Lounge suite
I bought my leather lounge suite about 10 years ago. I wanted something I didnt have to replace and easy to clean. However we have had to put extra pieces of sponge into the cushions as they were really flat. The worse problem is the fatty marks on the covers. Had somebody trying to remove them but that didnt work. A suite I should be so proud of I am so ashamed of.
Bed base and headboard
I've logged in a complaint numerous times with the store assistant in Canal walk's branch, a week after receiving our bed. We bought this bed as we recently got married and moved into our new apartment. Extremely dissatisfied by the quality, multiple faults have been found on our new R8000 bed. Stitches are skew, bed is skew and slanting on one end. We have sent pictures to justify our complaint. However, we keep getting promised someone will contact us regarding this issue and that there is no direct complaint line.
We want our bed either replaced or all the faults corrected. This bed is not matching the standard we were promised and paid for.

Delayed Delivery
I bought a corner couch from Coricraft Witbank on the 12th of March 2021. After explaining the urgency of the delivery, I was assured it would be delivered by the 18th of March.
On the 18th the couch was not delivered. I followed uo with the store to no success. After calling the customer care line several times they assured me it would be delivered today on the 25th of March which also did not happen.
I run a guest house and had to cancel a function due to the couch being late.
The store manager promised he would call me to no avail. The customer line also made empty promises.
This is very poor service and I would stongly advice any against ever buying anything from Coricraft.
Desired outcome: Delivery of my couch tomorrow on 26 March 2021
Service - after sales
I ordered a Santorini in October 2020, on delivery the one seat was making a noise, I tried to get hold of coricraft for more than 1 month.
Botha eventually came out to see the sofa after I had to follow up 4x.
I was offered:
1. A new sofa (would wait about 8 weeks)
2. They could fix it.
I asked for a new one as I bought a brand new sofa and was not accepting a broken one.
It's been 2 months, no one has contacted me. I again have had to follow up 3x.
Today I am told there is an outstanding balance of R19000!
That was not apart of the deal when I asked for a new one, Botha told me I would receive a new one FOC because it was a fault in workmanship.
Now I am phoning around to find out what the issue is, and low amd behold no one can help me.
For what you charge and the quality you receive is disgusting.
Desired outcome: I would like my new sofa as promised with in a week
3 seater couch
14th Dec 2020 I paid a deposit and ordered a 3 seater couch from the cresta branch. I was informed Jan it would be ready as the factory is closed for Dec. Come January no feedback but a missed call when I ill. I called in Feb to tell me the couch is made in Cape Town and will be ready mid Feb. I called again mid Feb to be told it will be ready 8th March and there is a backlog. What rediculious service is this. I asked to be kept up to date weekly on the progress, either by email or phone. 1 email and very evasive feedback. I visited the branch a week later to say I've got no feedback. Then I'm told by Johannah, the sales person it will be ready 12th March. I was not happy and advised I'll this further. Didn't care at all. I called the next day and spoke to Martha as the store manager was leave. She called me a hour later to say she'll call me back the next day. Still nothing. Today is the 3rd march and no one gives a [censored] about customer service. I've never in my life received such atrocious service from staff with I don't care attitude. Not even my bank gives such service. I'll be requesting a full refund tomorrow and no monies will be kept. I'll go to consumer rights and the ombudsman and will fight this. Don't buy from this pathetic shop that don't care for clients.

4. Complaint: Up to date I did not received any of the above products and the branch manager cannot confirm when the order will be finished? The day of purchase the cashier told me it would take up to 6 weeks for delivery.

Poor customer service
Hi There
on the 17th of December, I filled an online form, in order to ger The Coricraft Store Card. On the pamphlet, it says "Now, easier than ever to apply". This is a lie. When it came to the sensitive part of the form, I could choose to EITHER give permission to Nedbank to release bank statements to RCS OR to attach payslips.
I chose the first option since I am a language teacher that works in two different schools and the one school, closed for the year so I cannot get the physical payslip.
To my astonishment, The system didn't accept my application demanding me to attach payslips. When I phoned 0861 727 751 to sort the issue, and to speak to a manager I got the reply "this is the way it is" and when I phoned coricraft right after that, I talked to a nice lady that allowed me to explain what happened, by didn't get back to me as promised, she just said this is RCS policy.
Needless to say, Coricraft disappointed me as if one reasonable person at RCS will bother to check my bank statements, he/she will see my record is great. I work in the same two schools for more than 10 years and I NEVER had any problems receiving store cards.

I trusted Coricraft store Somerset but shame i am truly disappointed with bad service delivery and crap Customer care that i received I've been waiting for my couch delivery from the 18th of october and it's fully paid with delivery fee paid and I've been doing follow ups but nothing has been communicated or said to me at all and nw today is the 24th of october and no communication at all and i think that is not fair at all i am extremely disappointed
No delivery and no communication
I bought a coffee table and plasma unit 30 november at coricraft Clearwater. My sales lady Thuli was great. Paid cash and was told my delivery would be today. Got an SMS from coricraft to call them during the week regarding my delivery. Tried to call numerous times but no answer. Called the Clearwater branch yesterday and was told delivery would take place today. When I called again this morning I was told it's only next week Saturday now. Cancelled order because this is unacceptable behavior at the highest level. Just want my refund and will warn other people about your company. Clearly not interested in making money at all. Must be wonderful to be doing such great business that you dont need new customers at all.
I had the worst customer service at coricraft Fourways crossing, the manager by the name of Johan is the most disgusting. I cancelled my order, I have informed my friends and family never to shop at coricraft no regard for customers.

Couch arm rest sponge
I bought 2 couches from Coricraft 4 years ago, for R22000 it's exotic leather red on colour. The colour on the couch will is coming out dying your clths red when sitting on it, the sponge on the arm rest is sinking in leaving it shallow on all arm rest. I've sent several email to the head office with no response. I was promised to be contacted back and I was given a this reference number 49279 a moths ago no one responded until today.
Refund
I paid in full for a dining room set in October last year. I waited 7 weeks. Defected goods were delivered.
I was then told to wait further to get quality that they Coricraft proclaims to provide from the outset.
In March this year again defective goods were delivered. Unfortunately due to covid nothing could be done.
So coricraft left me with defe goods and kept hold of my money till I could return good.
When I told them that I wanted my money in my account on the day they pick up good they refused. Is coricraft so desperate for money because they can't really make an honest sale and earn money ethically. Lerise at Pinetown changed her word so many time about payment it's shocking - either she does not know the company payment process or she is not being truthful. I noticed now all the hello Peter's for coricraft - surely you don't want more.

Online order and telephone service
I've ordered and paid (R10,000) for a sofa on the 29th of September 2020. It is now the 26 of November 2020 and I still have not received my sofa nor have I received any estimate time that it would be delivered.
I have called numerous times without any success. A couple of times the phone just kept on ringing and ringing without any answering. Whenever someone does answer, they transfer me to customer service where the phone is never picked up.
This is so sad that such a huge company has such bad service.
Leather chairs
Good day, (have sent this mail dated 16 November 2020 with no response.
I have purchased the attached items with your store in George, Garden Route, Western Cape.
It almost look like a material / patch defect.
The items does not stand in direct sunlight and are cleaned with authorised Leather care product.
Can you please replace this item.

Damaged bed not changing
Hi good day
I have purchased a King Xl bed from Coricraft and been delivered on 1 st October 2020. I got damaged bed and informed to company and they promised me to change as soon as possible. There after they have came with bed 4 times and all the time coming with damaged bed which is even worse product. Then I complained to the manager and now they are nog responding from last week..
Service from the warehouse and delays
I am utterly disappointed and frustrated with the service I am currently struggling to get. The warehouse service is very poor. The staff are really rude. There is no clarity as to when my order is going to be delivered. I am expecting my delivery tomorrow as I was informed vanni please be sent a confirmation because I took leave for that. Customer service
For a company that sells premium furniture Coricraft offers horrific customer service. The call centre, Warehouse etc is unreachable. I have made over 50 calls to three numbers and am yet to speak to someone who can assist.
This is the third incident and I now choose to purchase furniture from @Home stores as they are reachable and deliver every time on their word.
Poor quality product
Kirsty slipcover full corner - fabric suite was purchased on 29 november 2019 from cori craft somerset west. Less than two months later the cushions started to sink in, due to lockdown, complaint could only be dealt with after march. Assessor sent out, confirmed it was the poor quality of foam, the foam was replaced. A month went by, same problem occurred, assessor sent out again, foam replaced again on the 1st of october 2020. The same is now happening again! When I logged another complaint today, the store manager started to say that it was not the foam that was the problem, it was my responsibility to take the foam out of the cushions, then take the "inner stuffing" that is in the zipper with the foam out and fluff it up - I have to do that at least once a month. This is the biggest load of nonsense that I ever heard of! The assessor has twice confirmed that it was poor quality foam that was the issue. Today I spoke to the assessor again and he confirmed that it has nothing to do with the stuffing - also very strange that the stuffing was also replaced with the foam on the 1st of october 2020 so no issue of lack of maintenance from my side there hey?
I believe now that the quality manager says this is normal as it is soft cushions, this is also a load of crap. Worst nightmare to buy from cori craft!
