To whom it may concern,

I would like to inform my recent disappointment with the way Cosmos Sydney clinic is treating me. I have emailed multiple times, called multiple times and it’s now been three weeks and I still have nothing. I feel like I’m being ignored because I have a medical condition and can no longer have surgery and am wanting my deposit back.

I was advised to go get a medical note from my GP stating that I couldn’t have cosmetic surgery, which I did and emailed and I didn’t even receive an email back. I called and the lady said that she was “about to email me back”. She said that I have to get a medical certificate by a “specialist doctor”. In the email all it said was a medial certificate and when I called the Sydney clinic and told the lady that I was to get a letter from my gp she said it was fine. Why am I now being asked for another medical certificate. As it states on my medical certificate “I have a medical condition and I’m unfit to have cosmetic surgery”. I don’t know why I’m being treated like this and not getting an email or even a call. I don’t think this needs to be taken any further and I feel I have every right to get my deposit back. I’m really upset and disappointed I sent an email last week and I once again had to call them this morning just to see what was happening. After weeks of sending emails and getting no answers they got back to me after I sent an email complaint and they’re response was “ sorry we can’t give you a deposit however we can give you a credit and you can use it in one of our centres” I told them that I am

Not travelling to the eastern states just to get Botox or fillers and pay for flights and accommodation because I live in Perth and there’s no clinics here. The manager of the Sydney clinic then said she would get back to me this Thursday but said that she’s never given any clients any refunds. Which is a lie because I know of a friend who got a her full refund on the deposit she paid. I was wondering if you had any other woman message you about this topic? I feel so overwhelmed and disgusted on the way they are treating me.

I am very dissappinted. Twice I did lipo with Cosmos. Once in Sydney, and 4 months later in Melbourne. Still no results. I attempted to call many times no one would return my call.

I went to Turkey and got back yesterday, and they all laughed at the work. I saw 5 doctors. I couldn't afford doing it again. I got under my bra fat removed instead there. ( Even tho cosmos clinic promised twice it will dissapear).

This morning i read about the botched jobs on 60 min and that explains it. I could have taken it further but thought I would do the right thing. I spent nearly 16k on 2 useless surgeries. I have lost my confidence even more. I have scars every where also around my body and lumps and fat that was promised will dissapear. Hopefully this can get resolved asap or I will take it further as I have other people backing me up too.
