Visited the Wakefield Costa on the retail park after a visit to the cinema, arrived at 20-10 hours, quite a few customers at the time, ordered our drinks, asked if they would be ok in takeaway cups as they close in approx 15minutes, what has a takeaway cup to do with closing time were they going to throw us out together with all the other customers? Needless to say it wasn't ok and we left, is this company policy or does the staff need some in house customer satisfaction training, or was the guy just lazy!

I visited the store at 6.20 pm on 13th nov to be told no cream for coffees !its Run out again then as I was sat drinking my coffee quickly as got told were shutting at 7 cos nobody would cover a sickness shift and the manager had to come back off holiday (which wasn't my problem ) I over heard the manager and her boyfriend luke discussing members of other staff saying which would you keep and quite abruptly the manager named 3 members of staff she would keep one included Sam and then told Luke there is a 50/50 chance that she would get rid of Sarah whoever that may be, as she is new and doesn't know everything it's just not professional and if I was that member of staff been spoke about like that I would be upset not good advertising for working for your company is it
coffee pods
Dear Costa,
I have been a customer of yours for many years, i was very excited when i found out you were selling coffee pods, that are compatable with the Dulce Gusto machine.
After spending around £80..00 on these pods i found that 1 in 3 were not working properly in the machine, i thought at first it was my machine, water was going everywhere and soaked my kitchen on a lot of occasions.
I purchased a new machine and the same happened, i looked on the website of the Dulce Gusto machines and Costa is not mentioned once, i am very angry as i have thrown a perfectly good machine away, and have wasted money on a new one, this is not fare when loyal customers buy the pods in good faith.

Hello sir i had a flight from lucknow and i ordered 2 latte and 1 cappachino and 1 hot coclate.
Hot coclate was good but the other 3 cofee was like poison the milk added was sour cofee tasted like [censored].
The milk was soo bitter that i have to throw all fhe 3 cofees into dustbin.
I had a call for the last boarding soo i did not get time to complaint as i had my flight.
My 820 rs got itno dustbin.
Never had such a experiance with costa cofee.
Please look into the matter and tell me what happened.

Today I went to my 5 year old daughter's favourite café, Costa in Staines shopping centre, along with her, my 1 year old and my sister so that we could have a nice time together as a family and enjoy my daughter's half break. My sister sat down and I queued up with my two daughters to order. I placed my order with the staff member who served me, when he asked for the payment, I remembered to get the chocolates my daughter wanted, so I said to him, 'can you add two lindt chocolates to the order'. He did, I paid and walked over to the other side where order is collected. I took the two lindt chocolates from the jar, thinking I have paid for them, and put them in the tray. The staff member who served me, looked at me and pointed at them and gestured to put them back in the jar. I said I have paid for them, he nodded his head and with his finger he pointed and said no you didn't. I said again, I did because I asked you to add two lindt chocolates to the order. Again he said firmly, No, you didn't. Instead of saying, oh I misheard or something similar to rectify this mistake, he remained adamant that I told him to add another hot chocolate to the order, not two lindt chocolates. I got upset as he kept on pointing to the jar to tell me t put the chocolates back, as if I am going to steal them. I was amazed at his behaviour and stubbornness. I told him to cancel the hot chocolate order as I didn't want it. At first he stomped to the other side and started cancelling the order without saying anything further. I stood there thinking he is cancelling the accidental duplicate hot chocolate order only. But when this was taking too long, I asked him, ;Are you cancelling the whole order'? To that he said, Yes, you told me to. I said, why are you not listening to me, I asked you to order the hot chocolate only which you ordered by mistake. He kept quiet, put my remaining order back on the till, cancelled the duplicate hot chocolate. Once he finished, I said let me for these two lindt hot chocolates now?. He ignored mw, walked over to the other side, pointed at the tray and said, 'Take your order'. I was shocked, I said, excuse me, let pay for the chocolates first, he stood there, again pointed at the tray and said I want you to take this order first. I said why, I need to pay for the whole order together and pay for the chocolates. He ignored me, walked back to the till and started serving the lady behind me. I then threw the chocolates behind the counter and said to cancel the whole order as there was no way I could then sit there and have good time with my family. He refused to do anything, n=and ignored me. I walked over to his other colleague who apologised on his behalf and cancelled my whole order. through out the whole time, he stayed stubborn, showed arrogance, no regard for customer service, being apologetic or even saying sorry I mis heard your order or anything to that effect.
It spoiled our day. My daughter was crying, she did not want to leave as that was her favourite costa branch and we don't go to any other café but that particular one. I was so upset that I cried when I walked out, I have never felt so humiliated in my life, especially when in front of the whole long queue, he pointed at the chocolates and the jar and with is hand gesture told me to put the chocolates back in the jar. It was also humiliating as all this happened in front of my 5 year old. Secondly when he pointed at the tray and said Take your order, as if he is ordering to take the tray and go, as he did not want me to pay for the chocolates! This was the worst ever experience of my life and I don't think can take my daughter back to her favourite place.
He was not wearing his name badge. I asked his colleague for his name, which is Gabra and he is the assistant manager. I am shocked that instead of him being a role model, this is what he is teaching his juniors.

poor service rude person
Ordered a lunch deal the other day so called Manager Joey kept insisting i buy crisps which i did not want, anyway he eventually just throw a packet of any flavour on my tray and was vey abusive, i wanted to speak with a Manger only to be told he was the Manager so shocked indeed that they employ such nasty people in customer service.
Was also shouted at for choosing the wrong toasty I haven't had a Luch meal in there before and it was not busy i mean no one waiting so he had no rights to be abusive to me, i was with my elderly Mother. I was so angry i couldn't touch my coffee Date was 24/10/19 at 14.25 pm

This morning at approximately 9:15 am in Costa Coffee at Bexley Village, myself and my
family purchased two take away teas and a cappuccino. Unfortunately, the young lady serving
did not put the lid on a tea properly despite appearing to repeatedly push down on the lids
with a finger which had a very dirty plaster on it. When my daughter picked up one of the
teas the lid flew off and the hot tea badly spilt on my daughters hand - picture attached for your
information. Your staff did not acknowledge the accident, apologise, or offer assistance.
They did not even offer a new lid for the tea which she saw fall to the floor. We subsequently found and visited the bathroom to pour on cold water and left the teas and shop in disbelief and disgust.
I have to say that I never make a habit of ever complaining but this incident has caused my
daughter considerable shock and pain this morning and this Costa has put us off going into
another one ever again due to the inconsiderate and inexperienced staff.
Please could you review your training to ensure that this does not happen to another
unfortunate customer who attends at that Branch.

parking charge for using customer car park
After visiting Costa Coffee in Cambuslang on 6 October I was hit with a parking fine for £100 (£60 if I pay in 14 days) I had not at any time went anywhere else other than Costa and had only parked in a designated customer parking space.
I called Costa and the staff referred me to their Manager who was on leave for 4 days, I then wrote to the Manager who didn't respond. I then called the Manager who said he was told to ignore letters? I asked him to check the CCTV to prove I was there but he said that wasn't classed as proof - the Police use this as evidence so why not Costa? He asked me for a loyalty card or receipt as proof? I now have to go in and see him face to face tomorrow, have had to appeal the fine and await a response, Contact Costa Coffee Customer Service - they've not responded as yet and write this review all for parking in a designated parking space? Shocking way to treat customers when they have done nothing wrong.
taste of coffee
Good morning, my problem stated in the congleton branch i call first thing every morning for my coffee. If one of the workers would be making my drink and the manager was working on her laptop she would rush round and empty a small glass of liquid into my drink, it did'nt taste nice. So i stopped having coffee there and now i have just 2 rounds of toast every morning. But now it seems every costa i go into i get the same nasty taste in my coffee. I use a wheelchair and move using my legs which may seem a little strange ( its as though i can walk ) but i have very poor balance and use the chair always. I keep myself to myself but am very polite to everyone, If the manager has an issue with me ( i did'nt know the lady before she worked at Costa ) it's very unproffesional to carry it on at work. waited for 15 minutes and still wasn't served by costa
The employee Shihan working at 12:15 AM today 19 Oct, at the King Fahad International Airport, Arrivals Terminal outlet did not bother to serve despite of me staying about 15 minutes at the counter. The reason cited was the system was down. When confronted he showed a cold shoulder without being apologetic and rudely informed, this is my name and you can very well complain. Very demeaning behavior, didn't expect Costa to employ persons like these.
prices and rude staff
I visited costa today with my mum for dinner, we noticed there was a deal on the board for a main, side and drink for £4.95. So thats what we got, anyway we ended up paying nearly £8 each! The man said only the cheese and ham toastie was in the deal... in my opinion it should be all sandwiches, toasties and paninis. A while later I went back for a cake and the staff were talking and giggling with their backs to me and other customers so I waited another 8 minutes.. I am also a wheelchair user so it makes it more rude, I had to knock the table and ask for service and the guy just said yeah? And shrugged his shoulders. Staff need to get their act together.
rude and unacceptable behaviour
Today at 6:30 PM at your outlet in DXB T1, I ordered coffee and some sandwiches resulting in total bill of AED 38/-.
I gave AED 500/- note to the Manager who was there at the counter, but she insisted to pay in small donations or by card. I informed her that I don't have both and as I am dining in only I don't Mind if you can get me the balance after some time. But to my surprise she refused to accept my order due to the non availability of change with them.
I want to know if this is the policy of Costa that customer should pay only the exact amount of the bill or by card otherwise you don't serve to them. If so it should be very clearly mentioned at the outlet.
Hope management will look into this matter and will reply back to me.

manager behaviour, and charging extra on billing
I am writing for costa coffee, green park market, near evergreen sweets, delhi. The manager is way too rude and and charged 100 rs. Extra on the name of extra coffee shots and a water bottle was punched extra. We did not asked for a bill and paid the amount. Next day visited, he did the same thing again, he charged us extra. This time we asked for a bill, 3 coffees small he asked us to pay 870 approx and insulted us upon asking a bill. Used abusive language, said go and complain who so ever I want to. I want a strict action to be taken against this guy for kind of looting his cutomers and then misbehaving too.

Despite a lot of complaints to Costa management in kuwait, no action has been taken. from 9 am to 7pm a professor for law has been running a private tuitions charging his students on a daily basis inside costa. This has been running on for years and a lot of complaints has been raised to costa management. the smoking area is a limited seats inside and at times customers do not get a table to sit because tuitions are running or tables are joined. I have been a regular customer of costa for years and so are other customers who prefer coning to sheikha mall. During student exam times, there are as many as 50 law students coming to him. Please take an action on this issue.

Came asking for small latte but rawmart staff working there he didn't look at me he was so nervous and not showing any respect for he I am regular customer for costa I know price is 16 he said for me 19 I thought changing prices but he didn't mention that he was waving his hand to me as we don't have small size madam or anything it could be acceptable for me but he answered you should know that we don't have so you have to take medium I asked him his manager but he told no one here only me I mentioned i'm nervous of him and need to complain he again answered carelessly you
