no food or cakes
Whilst visiting costa in Eastleigh Woodside Avenue on Saturday for lunch with a friend there was no cakes or food on offer.
The toilets were also dirty and smelly.
Staff were also very rude and our drinks were wrong, made with full cream milk instead of skimmed milk.
I regularly use Costa in Romsey where I meet with friends for lunch, the Romsey costa is always well stocked and staff are friendly.
Am very disappointed with Eastleigh Costa and shall not be going back again.

I was an employee at gulf petrol station, pasture road, Moreton, wirral, CH46 4TH
I feel that you should be made aware of were your equipment and sundries are stored. They are kept in a toilet come kitchen area. No door dividing/separating either.
All equipment and sundries are stored in this area. Equipment is cleaned in the only sink provided. We're hands are washed after use of toilet, mop bucket is emptied as well as Costa equipment/milk containers are washed in the same sink. I feel this is cause for concern for health and safety issues for the public buying coffee from these premises. Could you please not divulge my name reasons being as my dismissal is still being dealt with by ACAS
winchester costa high street
I would like to summit a complaint about your high street branch in Winchester.
We visited the shop on Tuesday 17 October at 13-00, it took 25 minutes to be served, but my main concern was the appalling condition of the shop.
There were coffee cups, paper serveatts, food particles strewn across the floor, tables were laden with dirty plates and cups uncleared, around the palmets of the wall were cobwebs a foot long.Truely the whole establishment was very unsavoury.
I for one will not be paying a costa shop a visit in the forseable future and will certainly pass on these notes to our friends and family

I am complaining about the Costa Coffee in the retail park in Elgin this is the second time I have made a complaint although could have been more I have once again came in for breakfast which consists of brown toast and a skinny cappuccino i come in most mornings so over the week I spend a fair amount I don't know how many times I come in and there is never any bread well this morning surprise there is no bread or crumpets or pastries the cabinet only has a small selection of cakes well I don't want cakes for breakfast I am a disabled lady and enjoy coming here but get really annoyed when I come out my way to come here this morning I have a hospital appointment and now don't have time to go somewhere else for breakfast before I go so I'm really disappointed with this service the person behind the counter said this is the 3rd day there has been no delivery this is unacceptable someone must be responsible for the ordering how can this be that bad on so many occasions I have came to Costa Coffee I hope there is someone that can look into this and hopefully get in touch with your staff to make sure orders are made in time thank you for looking into this as i said i spend a lot of time and money in here and if it doesn't get any better I will have to find somewhere else i don't want to but no point in coming here if it's going to continue with this kind of service.

Good day.
I'd like to make a formal complaint about some of your motorway services coffee machines.
At Warwick services i bought a large cappuccino with a caramel shot.in this particular services, you are required to take a receipt to the till & pay for your coffee. As I was paying, I tasted my coffee and it didn't have any taste of caramel whatsoever.
I told the lady at the till and she said to go and get another coffee.
I tried to get the same but now the caramel sign was greyed out, so I couldn't get any.
The attendant said it must have run out and he suggested I try the vanilla.i did just that and stupidly I didn't taste my coffee until I had set off on the road. Again this didn't have any flavouring and I was most displeased.
On a totally seperate occasion, just the other day I was at Hilton services near Birmingham.much to my displeasure again, the same thing happened.there was no caramel shot and I was well on my journey before I noticed.
Now I do realise that sometimes these things happen and it may be the attendants in the services that havent refilled the appropriate machines but this is the third occasion in 3 weeks.surely this is a product of Costa coffee and ultimately your responsibility ? normally, I am not one to complain or make a fuss but if I'm paying high prices for a coffee ( extra 40p a shot at Warwick) then I would expect to receive what I'm paying for.
I do hope you take my complaint seriously. the lack of flavoured syrup has mentally scarred me in the sense that now, I don't trust any of the machines in the services and would consider turning to a different provider of coffee for piece of mind.

As I was waiting my flight, I thought I would have a coffee as Costa was next to my gate 14 So I ordered a latte with cream and hot please. The price was 46yuan now as the exchange rate is 8.7 at the moment that makes the coffee £5, absolutely ridiculous and very expensive. I can expect to pay more than usual at an airport but £5 for a coffee! When I arrived at the airport I could have had my case wrapped and purchased a wrapping belt for my case for that price but did not as I thought expensive but compared to the coffee it was very inexpensive. Costa fortune you should call your Buisness.

I went to Costa coffee in Next at Handforth Dean near Wilmslow.
As I went in I was told that we are closing in 15 minutes I could not see the problem and therefore could understand the attitude of but ordered my coffee anyway.
15 minutes later having still not drank my coffee was approached by another assistant literally telling that we had to leave.
When I told him that I still had some of the coffee left he replied telling me that if we did not leave immediately he could get security to remove us.
I am sorry but I find this behaviour totally unnecessary. I would like to hear from you regarding this truly diapointed occation.
£100 parking fine whilst in costa
I met my friend as costa st oswalds gloucester as i have done for years and because we were there more than 2 hours i received a £100 parking fine. I am appealing and have provided proof that i was in costa and spending money. I contacted costa in the hopes they would contact the parking company in support of my appeal. They declined. They have basically washed their hands of the situation which i think is appalling. I said that i would boycott the branch and have posted the issue on social media. I feel that if i am parked in a car park directly outside their premises in a retail park and i can prove i was in the coffee shop the least they could do is speak to the parking management company.

I have purchased a box of costa coffee pods from my local supermarket, only to find that every time I use one in my machine the coffee pod leaks and spills out of the machine in all areas. It is also making my coffee more like hot water and milk! I can appreciate it happening once but it's been every time!
These products are expensive and I don't expect this to happen. I enjoy my costa coffee and am happy to pay for the products but not when I'm not getting what I'm paying for.
It's not my machine as my other coffees do not do this.

I am complaining concerning costa egypt cairo, westown hub branch..:.
I went there with my 1 year old baby girl and i couldn't stay because all the area is smoke duebto smoking and i asked about the non smoking area they told me there are two table that is exactly next to a table with a smoking person!i told how can i sut there already the smoke is in the area and my baby is asthmatic?! He said i can sit outside where rhe temprature is 40 c ?! And the open area is for smoking not the closed area! That is unaccapltable as you dont give any care for kids health or even elder people and this issue must be raised and you have to find solution! I am looking forward for a quick reply and action and i going to raise the issue in the social media...kids have the right to live healthy life!
rubbish left outside costa in evening
Costa coffee in Brecon, Powys leaves there rubbish out from 6.30pm on a Thursday evening possibly other evenings too not only does this look awful when we are trying to attract tourists to the area it also attracts rats. There is nothing like walking through Brecon in the evening to see bags of rubbish, no other independent trader leaves there rubbish out like this can it be put out in the morning or some other way forward local people are very unhappy with this situation. I look forward to hearing about a resolution to this quickly thank you

I went to Costa coffee, London road, Liverpool, on 21st August 2017. I ordered a large hot chocolate in one of the giant cups with two handles. I began to drink my drink and went home and carried on my day. The next morning I woke up and noticed some swelling around my lips and put Vaseline on it and thought nothing of it, and now today the 23rd of August, it appears to me what I have is cold sores all over my lips from drinking out of the Costa cup which clearly hadn't been cleaned properly. I know I haven't cought any of this from home as we use a dish washer to clean our cups, forks etc which kills most of the bacteria. I have my collage interview tomorrow which I'm worried I can't attended because of my blistered lips which are causing a lot of irritation. I am sad that it has come to this because I am a regular customer at a variety of different costas in Liverpool.

Coffe for long time but I think you guys need to do some change all the time if I need tu use toilet I need to by something first I really disgusting end ridiculous so if I want to go toile I need to by coffe first and take my coffe to toilet because I don't want live my coffe in the table would undo it if. Is happens with u all the time the barrista forc me to by something I'm very disappointed with and. a coffee experience like no other
At 1115 on 14th August 2017 we called at Costa Coffee, 50 Pier Avenue, Clacton-On-Sea. We ordered the two coffees and sat to drink. Many of the tables were not available to us, being used by children to play upon. With little choice of seating available to us, we had to sit next to a man who had a strange snorting habit together with what could best be described as a unsettling fidget. It all came (literally) to a head when he poked his digit finger firmly into one of his nostrils and at the stage when he began the probing motion, we moved to another table, which had by then become vacant. Let alone this, the lack of order in the place, the coffee was undrinkable and had to be left because the milk had been over-heated. Altogether a horrible experience which we immediately reported to Costa`s and are awaiting their reply. My advice to Whitbread would be this, it does nothing for your brand image of a good coffee experience by situating your shops in run-down areas. Something akin to Slop Shop might suffice here where at a pound a plastic cup it will be a winner. No need for the niceties of paper napkins either where the use of a shirt sleeve is de-rigueur.

Told girl on till what I wanted she relayed it to young boy baking coffees even wrote it on my receipt hit order wrong I told him he didn't believe me he checked receipt and told me I was right as if I was lieing he still gave wrong milk was full fat I asked for skinny and it was written down as well he then added shots to which I asked for them on the side again written down he slammed the jug of milk down to which it spilled and splashed up over me yet no apology he was rude and had attitude towards me I went to the toilets there to which I told my husband go else where as they were stinking the handier wall was stinking and it bloomed and smelled as if someone had urinated in the corner it was disgusting!

On 6/8/17 at 15:00 I and 2 others visited Costa coffee branch situated in the Spindles shopping centre Oldham (Town Square).
We sat at one of the 4 tables outside the shop. A coffee was spilt. Most of the liquid fell on the floor near the table. We used paper serviettes to soak up the excess coffee on the floor and reported it to the staff. A young male member of staff came out with a mop and bucket and yellow wet floor warning sign.
He then gathered up the coffee soaked paper serviettes from the dirty floor and placed them on the empty table (we had moved tables).
He mopped up any further excess coffee from the floor. Placed the warning sign by the wet floor. Then he picked up the coffee soaked paper serviettes from the empty table and went back into the inside of the shop.
I have the following concerns:
1) he picked up the coffee soaked paper serviettes from the dirty floor and placed them on the table. Therefore allowing cross contamination from the floor where people walk with dirty/soiled shoes to the table that customers eat and drink off.
2) he did not come back to wipe the table at any time.
3) this unhygienic practise is unacceptable. Staff need to be taught the correct procedures to prevent cross contamination and for cleaning up spillage that occurs on the dirty floor. Staff need to be aware of all potential harmful health risks to customers that derive from their unhygienic practises.
refusal to accept a scottish bank note
On Thursday, 3rd August 2017, at London Waterloo Station's branch, between the hours of 9 and 10am, I attempted to pay for a hot sandwich with a Scottish Clydesdale £10 note and was refused by the young lady serving me. I asked why and I was not given a reasonable explanation as to why it was being refused - she and another member of staff gave it a disgusted look and simply stated "we don't take that money here". In the end, I had to pay with my debit card.
However, the next day I was in the branch at London Wimbledon Station and they accepted the same note with no problems at all, as the gentleman who served me saw it was legal tender with the words pounds sterling marked clearly on the note.
After it being refused in one branch and accepted in another, it made me feel that the employees at Waterloo Station branch had acted with discrimination towards me.

This shop is one of the worst I have been in. I ordered a flat white which was very weak with no body too it...it may as well have been a latte! I returned it and got another. Then I went to use the toilets. They were disgusting I couldn't use the men/ladies it made me feel sick as iv showed in the photos. I have complained about this store before and it onviously hasn't been taken on board. The toilets are horrendous the doors are filthy and don't look to have been decorated in a long time. I go to Freeport talke frequently and there of customer service and cleanliness is fantastic. Maybe Newcastle personnel need to visit to see how a proper Costa is run!

I attended Costa coffee shop in Neath, West Glamorgan about 10 am on Wednesday 2nd August 2017.I requested a coffee and 2 slices of toast.The assistant informed me that there was no bread for toast. I had my coffee and went to get some Candarel. I the tray containing the sachets of Candarel was empty.I asked the assistant if there were any Candarel sachets elsewhere?.The assistant informed me there was no Candarel as the delivery of supplies was water damaged. I had to drink my coffee with no sugar and had 2 slices of currant cake.
Firstly, I was disappointed that I didn't get the snack I expected.
Secondly, I'm disappointed as your prices should reflect the standard of your service, but, unfortunately, I was let down on this occasion.
I look forward to hearing your views in relation to this matter.

Some people are really CRUEL. Yanack is one of them.
High prices = high service. plain and clear.
There is something called " stock ordering" when the current stock reaches 30% then you have to re-order it.
Switch to a better coffee shop JLR. Costa is sliding badly.
tuna melt wrap & peach ice tea
I purchased these products at your airside restaurant at Faro airport. The melts were heated but the quality was extremely poor and inedible. The items were left after only a couple of bites. The iced tea was watered down and had little flavour reminding me of weak dilute juice and was unpleasant to drink. The cost of these products was exorbitant especially given the poor quality of the product supplied. The surrounding were also dated with marked and grimy seating. A very disappointing experience all round.
Was it not that my disabled wife who is also diabetic and had to eat I would have not purchased anything from your outlet.
Overpriced and under quality has been our experience. I have used your Resteraunt chain in other places but this is the worst experience to date.
