CourseHero unfairly disabled my account without any valid reason or explanation about why they did it.I received an email telling me that my tutor account has been temporarily disabled because, according to them, they have identified unusual activity on your Course Hero tutor account that violates our terms of use. They've asked me to submit 3 items to re-verify my account within the next 48 hours, or else my account will be permanently disabled.
They gave the link for varification but the link showing expired.If the links were showing expired from the first what to do? So I emailed you immediately. Now they told me that I could not submitted the documents within the time frame.
First of all you are saying that I could not submit the document within the time frame so my account has been deactivated. The links you provided from first were showing expired from first. When you gave the link, when I opened it, it showed expired. So I emailed you immediately. The send me a new link and I verified all the documents successfully.
The next day, But this time, Zee A has replied with different answers. The email was this:
"After conducting a review of your tutor account, we identified activity that violates Course Hero’s Terms of Service." You also provided insufficient materials to verify your identity and/or failed to provide materials within the required timeframe. As a result, your account has been permanently disabled, and you can no longer access Course Hero."
They said that the decision is final and that no further payment obligations are required by Course Hero. I was shocked and just can't comprehend the whole thing. Like, what game are they playing? This is just not right, and it feels so unfair. There was no definite reason given as to why they reached that conclusion.
If I remember it correctly, my account still has nearly $550 in pending payments. It may be a small amount for them, but I worked hard for that money, and I have every right to get paid. I have spent hours answering questions just to help students and provide them with competent learning, only to be betrayed by this company in the end.
