I am in the process of applying for a home mortgage with Pulte and the final step in my lender has asked for my wife Kimberly to be removed from the account as an authorized user Along with this request, my lender has asked for a written letter on company letterhead stating my wife is no longer an authorized user on the account. I have been told my wife has been removed from the account however the company has refused to send me a letter stating this. I have spoken with several "senior account managers" to request a letter I can present to my lender. One Credit One manager named Gilber told me he would have a letter sent to me same business day on Sept 5. This did not happen and when I called back, I was not given a satisfactory answer and told the company cannot send me the requested letter I need. As things now stand, I stand to lose any chance for an approval on my mortgage application and along with a $6,000 earnest money deposit. All because of a request for a simple letter and a company that does not respect its customers. I also plan to reach out to the corporate office and the local media in Las Vegas.
Desired outcome: I need a letter on company letterhead stating my wife Kimberly Bakker has been removed as an authorized user. Letter needs to state my account number and requires a signature.
Since it is obvious that you are not going to receive the information that you requested on a letterhead, have you tried asking Pulte Morgage Company if they will accept a verbal confirmation? This can be done via a conference call between yourself, Pulte Mortgage Company and Credit One Bank.
