On Friday February the 28th a member complained to the manager about his keys being locked in a locker. Apparently, he hid his only keys in the back one of the big lockers.
The manager, instead of asking around for whose lock was on the locker, decided to just cut the lock. His reasoning being that he wishes they "had a PA system" because the only alternative would be to "walk around and ask". Without any hesitation apparently or desire to validate the claims, he just cut the lock and left the contents unattended and unsecured. He felt that making even the slightest attempt to ask around was unreasonable and "too much effort".
When asking for a corporate phone number to call, the branch manager told me, and I quote "you can look it up".
There was cash missing and my lock was obviously destroyed.
Claimed loss: cash plus lock
Desired outcome: I'd like someone to contact me and provide compensation for the cash taken and lock destroyed.
