We bought a car from D & L Motors Inc
We bought a car from D & L Motors Inc. for $8000, but the total loan amount ended up being $22000. We got the car in January, but now the transmission is broken. The mechanic said it would cost $6000 to fix it. I think the loan should be canceled completely.
I bought the car 2 weeks ago for 1650
I bought the car 2 weeks ago for 1650. I was told it was in good shape. I took it to my garage for a safety inspection and found out that the car needs rocker panels on both sides. I didn't notice this before because I didn't have a hoist when I bought the car. I contacted the dealer, but they aren't willing to help with the cost at all.
I bought a car from D&L Motors on July 29
I bought a car from D&L Motors on July 29. They took my 2017*** as a trade-in. In August, I discovered that I was still making payments for the ***. When I contacted D&L Motors, they said they would look into it. A week later, I called the bank and learned that they had just received the payout. It should have been paid off in July. I called D&L Motors again and they told me I would have to take it up with the bank. The bank informed me that D&L Motors is known for not paying off trades. So now D&L Motors owes me around $700.00.

I took my car to D & L Motors Inc
I took my car to D & L Motors Inc. to fix the water pump. Before that, the fan was working fine when I used the AC and heater. But now, after they fixed the water pump, I noticed that the fan is making noises and working harder than it should. I contacted D & L Motors to inform them about this issue.
A few weeks before that, I brought my car back because the engine light was on. They ran some codes and found wire issues, but they still haven't resolved it. The problem with the fan working hard started after they fixed the water pump, and they claim they didn't touch it. I believe they should take responsibility for fixing the fan since it started acting up after they worked on the water pump.
Furthermore, the window switch in my car, which was already broken when I first got it, still hasn't been fixed. However, the company recently informed me that they can't do anything else to my car. I feel this is unfair because the fan issue started after they fixed the water pump, and they were also supposed to resolve the engine light problem and fix the window switch.
I went online to Canada Drives to refinance my Loan
I went online to Canada Drives to refinance my Loan. D&L Motors Inc. called me, *** was the person who called. *** told me that there's a bank in Fredericton that APPROVED me, but he just needs my Social Insurance and car VIN to finish the deal. I told *** on a recorded phone call that I don't want multiple credit checks because it's sensitive for me right now. He promised it wouldn't happen. The next day, *** called me and said the bank deal fell through because they didn't approve the amount. That's okay. What's NOT okay is that I checked my credit report and saw that he tried 4 different credit checks with 4 different banks and said "I was trying to get you approved." I need these credit checks reversed right away because it cost me 34 points on my credit score. I'm in the middle of shopping for a mortgage and this really messed up my process.
Bought a 2012 Mazda 2
Bought a 2012 Mazda 2. Waited 2 weeks for transfer of ownership. I told them 3 times in 2 weeks at the dealership. I called the head office of ***. I visited 2 different offices in Burton and Fredericton. All 3 don't have any papers or info about this vehicle. The dealer gave me a temporary permit to drive. The permit ran out. I told the dealer about it. Their response was, "Don't worry about it. As long as you have the receipt of purchase, you won't be charged." *** was notified not to charge me since the driver is responsible for the vehicle. On Jan 29, I went to the dealer after going to *** offices. I told them the information I gathered. Their response was, "It's out of our hands." Previously, they said it would take a week to do because of Covid. It's been 2 weeks and *** has a 48-hour guarantee for dealers. I was told that today from ***. All I want is my ownership and transfer so I can drive my car. Both parties got angry and I suggested that I get in touch with the Police since they are HOLDING ON TO MY INFORMATION. My ownership. I have the receipt of purchase. Everything is paid for.
I bought a 2014 GMC Terrain from D & L in October
I bought a 2014 GMC Terrain from D & L in October. When it arrived, the muffler was cracked, which would have made it illegal to drive, but they still delivered it. Around three weeks later, the heat stopped working. It's now November and there's no more heat. I called them about it, but the first three times I called, they gave me the runaround. The next time I called, I was put on hold for 45 minutes while I was at work. I spoke to someone about my warranty and getting the situation fixed. He said he would call me tomorrow, but he never did. When I called them to find out what was going on, they told me that there is no one by that name working there. The guy who sold me the car was fired or quit about a week or two after I bought it. No one knows what's happening. They sent me to Royal Auto on Royal Road to fix my heat. The mechanic said he fixed it, but it was never actually fixed, and I wasn't billed for anything. Now they want me to take it to the car shop on Hanwell. They looked at both the heat and the exhaust and told me they could work on it in two weeks. However, they said D & L would pay for the manifold but not my heat. My question is, why would they say they would pay for it, send me to two car shops, and then tell me they won't pay for it? I even bought the $750 extended warranty, but they wrote down the wrong mileage on all of my paperwork. I'm not sure if it was an honest mistake or what, but those guys are crooks.
I was told my trade-in value for my *** Civic would be book value, which was $2,255
I was told my trade-in value for my *** Civic would be book value, which was $2,255. Yet, on all of the paperwork and bill of sale, it shows the trade-in value at $1000. When the car was delivered to me on July 22, there were two bad tires on the front of the car, as well as the door handle coming apart. I asked multiple times about that because it wasn't right for me to have to pay for that out of pocket. I had to because I couldn't be driving around with bald tires with my child in the car! When I was looking at cars, I was told that this car I bought had cruise control and all kinds of other things in it, but the cruise control doesn't even work. It never has! I have spent over $2500 in repairs since I got the car. They say it's "wear and tear," which, yes, okay, it can be. But according to licensed mechanics, some of the things that have gone wrong with this car should not have, considering it was in "great shape" when purchased. The rear shocks went in the car in early November, and the front driver-side tire doesn't like to hold air, regardless of the tire. Many people asked me about who I went through for my car, and today I got to message all those people and let them know not to go through this dealership for a car. It's not worth the headache. This car definitely is not worth what I paid for, considering what I have to continuously put into it. Also, customer service honestly sucks! Do better, guys! Here I am calm and collected the whole time, and I get treated with ignorance. I'll also add, it's not hard to call or text someone back. Maybe if you guys were more honest with people and didn't want to screw people over, you would have better reviews! I'm seriously curious as to why no one ever tried to help me with the tires or even called back. Did you just ignore me because I was requesting the cost of the bald tire to be covered? And what about something done with the door handle? What about the spot on the dash that was not shown in pictures?
