Daily Herald Media Group Poor delivery service

In the past year, 2023, we have experienced terrible delivery service. We have received wet papers, no paper, and have not received missed paper after requesting that one be delivered. We cancelled our Daily Herald subscription months ago due to this problem. We recently agreed to have the Daily Herald delivered to us daily after receiving a phone call asking that we resubscribe to help a charity.

Today, Dec 1 2023, again we received no paper. Although I requested one be redelivered, I am not convinced we will receive today's paper. I will be cancelling our subscription, AGAIN, due to this poor service.

Daily Herald Media Group Daily Herald Newspaper Delivery

Typically I don't receive 1 or 2 papers a week of my 7 day subscription. 7

missing papers since April 12. I call in when this happens, These missed papers are never credited back to me. So far this year I have not received

over 20 papers.so far this. I'd like to see an accurate statement of my account showing credit for these missed papers,, I have spoken with customer service and was hung up on by one agent. Another told me it was impossible for their limited staff to provide what should be standard accounting information.

Desired outcome: 1. An accurate statement showing credit for the missed papers 2, Consistent deliveries so the missed paper credits are not a factor.

Daily Herald Media Group Purchased a subscription for 26 weeks on Feb 16

Purchased a subscription for 26 weeks on Feb 16. I paid $20.80 in cash. I later noticed on my bank statement I was charged additional charges on April 21st for $8.00 and April 24th for $12.80. I did not authorize those charges.

I have tried to contact Daily Herald to cancel my online subscription, but they keep hanging up on me. This is ridiculous. How do I get them to CANCEL my stupid subscription. Daily Herald Media Group I cancelled my subscription

I cancelled my subscription. The paper was no longer delivered. Then I get another bill. When I call in to deal with in they pretend like they had no notice and send me to voice mail. This happened 3 times. I never got a call back about the problem. Then they send a $27 issue to collections. They did not complete their part of the sales contract and then no customer service to deal with the issue.

Daily Herald Media Group I never subscribed to the newspaper, yet they continue to deliver a complementary subscription

I never subscribed to the newspaper, yet they continue to deliver a complementary subscription . Ive contacted them weekly since early April and asked them to stop delivering the newspaper, and yet they continue to deliver it. They said its free. The problem is we leave town and the newspapers pile up in our driveway which alerts thieves. They suggested I have a neighbor come over and pick up the newspaper. I shouldnt have to do that. Can you help me get the newspaper delivery stopped? My calls have gone nowhere.

Daily Herald Media Group Have tried for weeks to cancel my subscription to this newspaper

Have tried for weeks to cancel my subscription to this newspaper. Three calls to the number posted and no answer after 30+ minutes of waiting. One time after 18 minutes it sent me to voicemail and I left my number asking for a return call. Nothing. No email address on their website or bills. My online account allows me to do everything (renew, pay, vacation hold, etc) but stop subscription. Tried to post online to their *** group and the message was declined by the administrator. I do not think this is good business to make it virtually impossible for a customer to stop their subscription.

Daily Herald Media Group I ordered a 15 week subscription through Groupon

I ordered a 15 week subscription through Groupon. Before the end of that, I called to cancel my subscription. I also used the online contact form and put in writing that i wanted to cancel. I then received a bill. I wrote on the bill that I was cancelling and no longer wanted the paper to be delivered and sent it to them. I have now contacted them in writing in December, January, February, and again today in March to continuously tell them that I am not a subscriber, I cancelled before my 15 weeks was over and to not contact me any more. Yet, they keep sending me bills for more and more money and some days even deliver a paper which I did not ask for nor want. Please tell them to stop sending unwarranted bills for a paper I do not subscribe to.

Daily Herald Media Group i get this paper delivered every day except Sunday

i get this paper delivered every day except Sunday. For the last 3 days i have not received my papers. My subscription is paid till August 17th. In march they missed delivering 9 papers; in April they missed 10; May they missed delivering 10 papers. The papers are delivered by the Chicago Tribune and when i called them they said it&#;s an issue with the Daily H3130363031353532H. I am handicapped and 88 years old need the paper delivered to the door. I&#;ve asked for a newspaper tube to put the paper in so it is easy access for me. The driver has told me on one occasion that he will not get out of the car to deliver the papers to me, hence they are thrown all over. if you try to call please leave a message for me and i will get back to you.

Daily Herald Media Group We were charged previously for our subscription $56.80

We were charged previously for our subscription $56.80. Then we received a *** for over $71.00 for the 2 month period. I called and could not get anyoneto talk with until after 2 days trying the customer service and corporate numbers. We are over 80 years old and have been subscribing for many years to the Herald. I was told that it can be reduced to $55.00 so we paid the $55.00 and the check is cashed by Herald. Now we received another *** for the same period for $56.80. They already have the $55.00 and want paid again. This *** should be $6.80 if that is what they are going to charge. I cannot reach anyone in customer service or the *** corporate office to talk with. Unless this gets corrected, we may have to cancel our subscription after all these years. This is terrible customer service.

Daily Herald Media Group I purchased a Groupon subscription to the Daily Herald for 26 weeks

I purchased a Groupon subscription to the Daily Herald for 26 weeks. After the 26 weeks ran itscourse, I received an invoice for less than $30.00. I called the Daily Herald to cancel my subscription. I spoke with a ***. I informed him what I wanted to do which we discussed and I agreed to put the subscription on hold for some time. I then inquired about paying any balance on my account as I knew the paper had been delivered after the expiration of the initial 26 weeks. *** informed me that there was no balance on the account which led me to believe there was no further action required on my part. I even received correspondence in the mail stating the paper wanted me back and gave several subscription offers. On 12/18 I received a collections notice for less than $30.00, which I mailed payment for the same day.

April 15, 2022 Fraud Complaint Daily Herald Regarding: Daily Herald Paddock Publications, I paid $48.00 to have the newspaper delivered on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday for Service Dates 04/11/2022-06/19/2022. My check has been cashed. I HAVE NOT RECEIVED ONE NEWSPAPER INCLUDING TODAY'S PAPER. I have called customer service every one of the four days that I have not received a paper. I was told papers would be delivered but they never were. Finally, today I spoke with a customer service representative, and she said the company is working on the problem. She mentioned the whole delivery area was not getting deliveries. I want a total refund of my $48.00 since I paid for and have not received one paper in the time frame included in my payment. The representative said she did not know when the delivery issue would be fixed. She said, maybe today, tomorrow, or the weekend. I am an 87-year-old Senior and basically, the Daily Herald stole $48.00 from me. Please make them refund my $48.00. Thank you

Daily Herald Media Group We have been a subscriber for over 40 years

We have been a subscriber for over 40 years. We get charged $273.80 every 2 months for the 7 days a week paper. This is $4.50 per paper. WAY above what the gas station/store charges. We have delivery problems ALL OF THE *** We call in every time and report it. We see NO credit on our ***. A detailed *** is not provided at any time. We receive the same *** every 2 months. We have called numerous times to *** who called back once. We did not get to the phone on time. We called her back and she has still not called us back. We are being charged $1642.80 a year for the paper. My husband and I are both 80 years old. This is a joke. New subscribers are charged less than $200 a year for the paper. My husband has dementia and the one thing he does remember as part of his routine is the daily paper for him to read as it helps him. I can't imagine what other people are charged per year but to charge over $1600 a year for seniors is ridiculous. All we want is an adjustment on our *** and IF we decide to keep our subscription, a detailed *** showing our credits. This has not once been provided. Our billing history states the same amount every 2 months so that just proves no credits are issued. We never get the redeliver either if we ask for that. I know times are tough right now but this is terrible customer service and a rip off to seniors.
