We placed an order at 17:53 and only received the pizzas at 19:07 as per the drivers watch. His name was Steven. All he could say when asked why it is late, was that he just does deliveries. I should get hold of the Supervisor.
On eventually getting a number for the Pinetown, Branch [protected]), I was told not to pay, but the driver had already left.
Both boxes also reflected a black dot.

On the 17/08/2017 @18:35 I went and bought triple dekker chicken pizza with some extras and the order was messed up and at the presentation of my pizza just after my order number was called the presentation dot was pitch black when I raised this up the employee started shouting about how the pizza just came out the stove, he didn't have a name tag on, he then took my pizza placed it under that warmer, the dot turned red then black again within a minute. I asked for his name he refused then I asked for a manager he then just said his name refused to call a manager. I then lodged a case with the company itself. I then had a meeting with the manager on the 24th August, it was so funny / buzzer as she has no freaken idea how the promise of delivering good service works. Her explanation was all over the place she was contradicting herself on her statement and ended up saying the hot or not hot dot is only for deliveries. I was so shock as this promise doesn't apply on deliveries as per the company's T&Cs. I was expecting a call from the head office as per their promise as well and til this very day haven't had a thing. Making empty promises & breaking them seems to be a norm at Debonairs. I suspect they know this promise of good service is just a scam

Today 06Aug2017 @ 15:17pm I ordered pizza over the phone, I wasn't told anything about the store being shot of drivers, an hour & 30 minutes later after I had called for the 2nd time I am told of their dilemma, I'm very disappointed as not once did I not give the driver a tip, & how is it ok for them not to inform me of their shortage. Last night at about 18:30 I went to purchase a triple pizza at Debonairs Glenwood in Durban which retails at R179.90. When I entered the store I was one of 2 people inside the store and the cashier promptly took my order. As the store is frequented by students because of its location the store very quickly became very busy. I noticed that the students was coming in placing their orders and leaving before me. The staff and management naturally seemed very comfortable with the students and it was very evident that they were all friends. Clearly they were sorting out their friends first before tending to me as a client. After waiting 40 minutes I asked the manager where my pizza was and he clearly became annoyed with me as he was more interested in talking to the young girls that frequented the store. When I approached the teller she said to me"just wait your pizza is coming". I sat down and after a few minutes when I aske where my pizza was the teller shouted from the back of the store "I told you to wait your pizza is coming". I fail to understand how customers can be treated in this way from such a reputable take out store. This is unprofessional and it naturally screams out for intense customer training at this debonairs in Glenwood.
I am very unhappy with the service I recieved and would like to know how a chainstore such as debonairs can tolerate unprofessional service.

how debonair's pizza restaurants are scamming you
I have come to find out that the debonairs restaurant in my area and who knows possibly all over are scamming us with the so called 'extras' such as adding more cheese ( which at the time is about R17). Do not waste your time and money on them. I am annoyed to find out that no matter how much more you pay for more cheese on your pizza... guess what its exactly the same as ordering the normal one without it. Whats worse is how costly it is. Just so they can scam some extra bucks out of your pocket. Debonairs is definitely the worst pizza restaurant you are ever going to eat at. I am not just basing this decision on that one incident which happens all the time. Lets take their triple decker .. I once bought it and found out the first two layers had nothing but ketchup and some few mushrooms. Debonairs is no longer worth the money you pay for the meals and has not been for a while now. I'll stop buying from them and their scams to get you to spend more for nothing.

Goodday I am complaining abortive service I received by the manager nazir from durbanairs mtedgecombe in Phoenix Plaza nazir was extremely rude to.i called in at 7 pm to order a few pizza but they refused to deliver I asked the Manager nazir y was this everytime we call for delivery they don't like to deliver so y say free delivery when they don't want to deliver this happens all the time but today the 2 July 2017 nazir the manager was jst very rude he totally switched me off and said he don't have any drivers and I the customer must go and look for drivers for him he spoke in a very rude tone he was arguing with me instead of been professional my mum took the phone from me to speak to him and he was also rude to her and refused to give us any details to lay a complaint against him this is not the way to treat a customer my mum is old and deserve respect nazir gives durbanairs a very bad name.i really like durbanairs but with service like this how do we support yall

I ordered a triple decker at birch acres store in April, only to find out that my triple decker was not complete; There was just green pepper and ham worse part I waited for about an hour to get my pizza. when I realised that it was not complete I then called the store and no one answered. I p
layed a complaint on the debonair app and I got a call from one of the managers who apologised and adviced me that the manager who was working on the day I ordered the pizzeria the pizza. the manager then called and ruddy accused me of lying about the pizza. I then called customer care and explained what happened, they then excalated the matter. the following day the same rude manager called to ask me to come to the store and collect a new pizza, I explained to him that I don't live in birch acres another, can I not collect it at another store, he said no. I then called customer care and explained what happened;they excalated the issue again. the following day I got a call from the manager and he then asked me which store can I collect the pizza, I told him at Park Station store. he then explained to me that the area manager will have to autherise it and will give me a call. till today I'm still waiting for the area manager. I went back and called customer care and after I laid the complain twice. this is really bad customer service, I love debonair's, but I after this incident I will never buy there.

I bought the special of Triple 3 Large Pizza order no 138 26 June 2017 at Welkom Branch
I complain about on 2 slices of the pizza was no topping on the BBQ Bacon
on the Sparerib I did complain about open totaly open dough in the middle of the pizza not even cheese just the pizza dough not on the outside
the bases was raw and as tough as old chappies the chicken was tasteless
I feel the pizzas was really terrible I had 5 people with me to testify

I ordered a pizza around 6pm on Friday 23/06/2017 online and the order was received and accepted by the store however no pitched..I patiently waited thinking the delay might be caused by having receiving a lot of orders as a lot of people got paid but very disappointed that no delivery was done...I tried contacting the numbers provided to track my order however the lines were busy and I couldn't get through to anyone.

On the 15 June 2017 at 18h48 I ordered three large Pizzas for R179 as advertised on the TV. I was told that delivery will be done within 40 to 45minutes and it was never delivered. At 20h38 I called and the person who answered the phone told me that she will take my number and the manager will call. I waited and call back at 20h53 at that time no one answered the phone. My name is Patricia from Polokwane. On the 16 June I phone the Manager she told me that they were extremely busy last night they couldn't delivery all the orders but none of their customers were informed which is a very poor services. We slept without eating anything because it was late cook and kids were starting to sleep as they waiting long. Debonair Library Garden must delivery our Pizzas for free since we slept hungry due to their bad service. I am even thinking of tell my friends and families not to buy there anymore. They cannot inform their customers that they are extremely busy they can't delivery. The Manager even said the call is answered at Durban first before orders transferred to Polokwane while the dialled number is Polokwane number. I didn't trust what she said is was just playing with my mind and trying to run away from the problem.

When queried telephonically I was told that the driver says I must wait another 15 minutes. Fast food? What a joke! I have never waited so long for pizzas before. Very bad service. Hi a very upset customer.I ordered pizza online at 18:44 and I know it takes an hour to deliver but then at 19:54 I got a call the lady said my pizza will take another 1hour so I then waited until 20:52 then called because they close at 21:00.The lady told me there was 1 driver and I asked where the other drivers are and she said they didn't come to work cause it's cold. So I waited again and called at 21:40 to find out what happening the she tells me the driver just left now and on the way.With the instructions I had put, I ask if they could call when now at the gate, the driver called me and when I was at the gate there was no one.I wanted in the cold until the driver got to the gate and when I asked what happened he says he went that way and that way.I told him I opened the gate, standing in the cold and he wasn't at the street.I told then told him to return the pizza because I can't wait for over 3hours for the pizza and still wait outside in the dark in the cold.I then called the shop at 21:57 and the lady said she will ask the supervisor to call me but I didn't even get a call.I have never waited for a longtime for pizza more than 3hours.I had to start cooking from afresh what I didn't want to do.Im very upset and at your service this time debonairs Cosmo City.

We placed an order to debonairs pizza chris hani in voslorus to be delivered then it was delivered to the location an hour and thirty minutes later. The debonairs policy clearly states that any pizza delivered with a black dot should be given to the customer free of charge. When we had vocalised the policy to the delivery driver he refused to give it to us and continuously insisted that we called his superior lerato to confirm instructions on whether to leave the pizza or take it back with him back to the shop. We called numerous times but it went through to voicemail. When we finally called she said she'd call her driver. We decided to go to the store itself and they gave us a hard time where tammy rigney - lerato's boss - blatantly refused to give us the pizza we left having had a crap service. Follow the policy you enforce on the public otherwise the business is considered to be all talk and no service. We took our service and money to romans pizza where we gladly got great service. You're the ones that need our money not the other way round!

Placing an order is a nightmare getting your order on time is a joke whether u there physically to collect or waiting for delivery. People from that branch with their service stinks big time. If u really hungry don't order from them

I walked into the store, when I got to the counter there were two tellers. The one walked to the back and the other was on the phone. I chose to wait for the lady to get done on the phone, even though she chose not to excuse herself to answer the call. Once she got off the phone. She still didn't attend me and ignored me. She decided to type on the keyboard and another call came through and again answered without acknowledging me. I left the store without being served, because for some reason I was invisible to them.

ordered two pepperoni pizzas, got two salami pizzas with onions, ice cold. Called the store and they said salami and pepperoni were the same thing. I then enquired about the onions and the cold pizza and was told that they always put onion on pizzas. I am allergic to onion so would never ask or eat them. Was lucky that my friend tried it and told me it had onion. Worst service ever from the Ballito store, the person answering the phone has no understanding of customer service or rudimentary order taking. The pizza was a cold slab of dough and is inedible. Would have expected to have my money refunded and the horrible food taken back, however no one cares. Order at your own risk.

Debonairs sent me an sms offering me a voucher of R50 on my next order if I ordered online.I ordered online and saw that it didn't give an option to to enter the voucher.I called the Rossettenville store and I spoke to the manager I explained to her.She advised me to proceed online as it will show on their system and it will be discounted on the slip that the driver will bring.There was no discount when the driver came why lie. Another thing is'nt Debonairs a franchise the pizza from Oakdene and Rossettenville is terrible no toppings its just dry compared to the pizza in Carlton Centre, Gold Reef, The Glen... why cant you maintain the same standards.

I used my card to purchase pizza on 2016/12/31 at Debonair in Val mall. The cashier informed me that their speed-point timed out and we had to swipe my card on another machine. I refused as the first transaction had already went through. A manager was called and she reassured me that the funds would be reversed in 5-7 days and if not I would have to go to my bank. I then affirmed to a second debit on my account.
Two weeks pasted and no funds were received. I visited my bank which advised me to go back to Debonair for them to verify against their daily transactions. They took my bank statement and promised to look into the matter.
I lodged a complaint on the customer care line and an area manager called and assigned someone to assist but till this day 2017/03/13 I have not received any feedback. Instead I'm the one who keeps calling and I'm given the round abuts. Today I called some office that once called me and they are asking that I resubmit my statement as proof that I haven't been reimbursed. I do not have time to be running around. Now I have to prove that I'm not paid?

Earlier today I placed an order fr my child at hostel. When II requested a delivery the lady refused.I asked to speak to the manager she mentioned that they don't deliver at our local high school cos kids order n wen it gets delivered they say they don't have cash to pay...
I do understand its not good fr business but I practically begged the manager pls I'm in polokwane my child needs food she has the cash.she refused.
