Decluttr Sent in a bunch of dvds, books and eletronics

I had a large dvd collection that I had been trying to sell off for a while and this site was a life saver. This site gave me the most money back for dvds and it gives a decent amount back for phones too. If they receive your item and they don't believe the quality is good enough they contact you and you can decide to take their offer or get the item returned. I personally have made over $400 selling my dvds and an old note 4 phone. I would recommend checking out other places to sell your stuff back to make sure decluttr is offering the highest price but over 80% of the items i have sold them have been the highest offer, usually by a significant amount.

Decluttr Satsfied but Suspicious

I just purchased a refurbished "very good condition" iphone 11 from Decluttr.com. The cyber monday deals seemed good so I made the purchase despite not knowing much about the company. After purchasing, I read some horrendous reviews from angry sellers who never received payment for their phones, and how the company was impossible to get in touch with. This made me very worried, but my phone arrived within 4 days of purchasing despite the holiday rush. I was also concerned that I would not get an "unlocked" device, but I did, and I am very happy with my purchase thus far. I only hope that I am able to reach the company if I need to use my warrenty, since the 12-month warranty was a big selling point for me.

Decluttr Decluttr company was easy and quick

Decluttr company was easy and quick. The entire process just took just a couple of minutes, and it was a low effort way to both declutter and make money. I just scanned my books, video games, and DVDs on the app, packed them in a box with the prepaid label I printed and sent them on its way. Decluttr was fast at processing my boxes and payment within 2 days of box arriving company. I would recommend too anyone and I was so impressed I just mailed off my second box to them.

I sold them my Pixel4a phone which is less than 2 years old. The phone is in excellent condition and looks brand new with no scratch or even scuff marks anywhere. They quoted me $143 for it. It has been a week now since I shipped my Pixel 4a in the original packaging and it was received by someone, as the delivery tracking indicates, 5 days ago. Since it's an expensive item, I looked online, tried contacting them via phone, email, and chat, and I am now wondering if they are in the business of looting and fraud. They claim that they update the status and pay within 24 hours but that didn't happen and looking at other reviews I am feeling I am actually dealing with a fraudulent company here.

I have sent 2 shipments of books and movies. Both times I have waited over 2 weeks with no payment and finally, after contacting customer service, I am told that several items were not shipped. I am 100% certain that all of the items quoted were shipped by me. Those items they claim missing were shipped. I am convinced that someone at the company is stealing items from the boxes and then claiming the items werent sent. I will not be sending more stuff to these thieves.

Impossible to get them to respond. I send them nearly $100.00 worth of merchandise. They did not recognize two items, so I told them to just keep the items. Suddenly, they are not responding to any of my messages regarding the rest of the items. I feel ripped off.

Decluttr Thankful for Decluttr

Thankful for Decluttr. I had some things I did not use anymore and wanted to sell them. I thought about the Mercari app and as well as Let Go but found they take a fee. I wanted to get the most money I possibly could so I found Decluttr. I thought it was too good to be true that fees are not associated when selling your items. I was offered more money than what I actually thought I would get. I do not need to look anywhere else to sell my things. I'll definitely be back if I ever have things to sell again.

order number redacted, I sent an iPhone 8 Plus in new condition to them on August 24, 2022, since they offered $82 for it. I got the update from their detailed tracking service that it had been delivered and received by someone at their location on August 29, 2022. However, the Decluttr app was still indicating 'awaiting my order' and continued to do so even after many frustrating attempts to contact them. The item was ruled as lost or stolen. The issue was sent to the claims department twice a week ago and was recently escalated to management. I have yet to receive any updates on when I will receive my payment for the item they have misplaced, as it was clearly signed for and left at the address where this company is located. So far, my experience with this company has been absolutely horrible.

I have used this site several times and I have always gotten a fair price for my items. i have sold multiple items from E Readers, phones, games, videos and CD's and even a few books. It is very user friendly and everything is spelled out for you. I received my shipping label very quickly and notifications throughout the process as to when my items were received. Money was also deposited into my Paypal account right after my items were received. I have recommended Declutter to my friends who needed to sell unwanted items.

Ordered two cds, and I was charged. Received an invalid tracking number. Its been nearly three weeks and nothing. I filed a request for help days ago, just got a formulaic response of getting back to *** been days. No phone number and I cant even close my account so I put in another, possible futile, request. Ive lost my money and youve now lost a good customer.

I bought an iPad Pro, but encountered a glitch during checkout. When I clicked 'place order', it loaded for a minute and then redirected me back to my cart, which still had the item listed. Normally, I would be taken to the order confirmation page with my order number, indicating that my order was successfully placed. Since I didn't receive any email confirmation or see a charge on my bank account, I placed the order again. The second attempt processed normally, though it also took a minute to load the confirmation page. The following day, I noticed a double charge on my bank account, so I immediately filed a dispute with the bank and reached out to Decluttr customer support through their email messaging system about the issue. The next day, I engaged with a representative on live chat who escalated the issue to their manager and promised an email confirmation within the hour, assuring me the problem would be resolved within 48 hours. However, I didn't receive any follow-up email. A few hours later, I returned to the chat to inquire about the representative, but was informed that their shift had ended. The subsequent day, I spoke with another representative who told me the previous agent's shift had ended for the day, despite it being only 1pm and within customer support hours. Today, I got in touch with a different representative who was very helpful and efficient. He escalated the matter to his manager and stayed with me on the chat until my refund was processed, even sending me a screenshot of the refund in progress. This representative, whose name began with an S, provided excellent customer service. Interestingly, after receiving the refund, I received an email from Decluttr's message center about my original query, stating they would discuss the issue with their accounting department, promising a resolution within 5 days. By then, I had already received my refund and the product, but it was quite a hassle getting there. Fortunately, the product was in pristine condition as described, which was a relief.

I had recently moved, and had an abundance of music CD's for which I didn't have storage room in my new home. I ripped all of my CD's to digitize them and store them, and decided to look into ways to sell or give them away. I was about to start throwing them into a recycle bin at Best Buy when I found deCluttr online. I scanned the UPC barcodes from the CD's, accepted their offer, printed the free shipping label, boxed them up and sent them on their way. By one week later, deCluttr had deposited the agreed upon amount in my account. Easy, and sure beats giving or throwing them away.

Decluttr Decluttr had the best price I could find for my old iPhone 7 Plus

Decluttr had the best price I could find for my old iPhone 7 Plus. The online process was fairly easy except apparently you can't send two of the same thing under one order. Free shipping with UPS provided, just dropped it off at the nearest UPS store. It didn't take long to get my money into PayPal as quoted. I wish they had an invoice to include inside the packaging, but I didn't see any. But the process worked because I got paid. The whole experience was quick. Both phones were shipped the same day and received on a Friday, one was processed the same day and the other the next business day.

This process was excellent I was a bit scared from some of the reviews I saw online. I followed all the directions and everything went perfect. I mailed in my excellent condition used phone using their prepaid label and followed the tracking on it. I had money in my PayPal one day after they received my device. It was for the full amount that I was offered so everything went great. My only suggestion would be to add a confirmation email from the company once funds have been distributed I got notification from PayPal but it would also be good to have a confirmation from the company as well. Thank you

Decluttr We recently stepped into the 21st century and decided to download our large CD collection into iTunes

We recently stepped into the 21st century and decided to download our large CD collection into iTunes. We were just going to throw away all of the cd's as they are rather obsolete. I found Decluttr online and the Ap was so so simple to use and since they let you scan the barcode on the cd case and they give you an instant quote on the ones they are interested in, I decided to give it a try. We were able to recycle/reuse about 80 cd's with them and got paid within a week of shipping them out, which they also paid for! Great deal for something we were going to throw away! I would recommend them to anyone!

Found DeCluttr on the internet when trying to figure out how to dispose of some unused cell phones. I entered the cell phone information and was able to receive an offer for each of the phones. I was issued a tracking number and followed their directions, (DeCluttr provided the mailing labels) and dropped both phones into a mailbox. Within a few days I received a confirmation of the value of the phones and accepted their offer. Funds were quickly sent to my checking account! Will definitely do business with DeCluttr again and would recommend them to anyone wishing to get rid of unused cell phones. Great company in my opinion.

Decluttr Fast, efficient and professional

Fast, efficient and professional. I recently sold my old iPhone 11 as I had purchased the 11 Pro Max. The price that DeCluttr paid for my old phone was the best of all the quotes I had received. When they got my phone and evaluated its they paid exactly as they had quoted. The money was quickly direct deposited into my bank account as guaranteed. the best part is that they send you an easy to print pre-paid UPS shipping label so you don't have to think about too much other than affixing it your package and dropping it in a UPS bin. You already have the tracking number so you can see exactly where your package is at while it's en route. Couldn't recommend DeCluttr more highly!

I was searching for a place to sell my old Pixel 4a because I recently upgraded to the new Pixel 6. I received a quote from the Decluttr website for my Pixel 4a, which was in great condition and they offered me $130. After accepting the offer, they provided me with a prepaid shipping label. I packed my Pixel 4a and took it to a local store to send it off. The shipping process took three days, and they received the item on April 15, 2022, which was a Friday. I had to wait until Monday for their tech team to inspect my phone. They inspected it and sent the full payment on April 20, 2022. I received the payment in my bank account on April 22, 2022. I could have gotten more money for my phone if I had listed it on another platform, but I didn't want the hassle of creating a listing and paying fees. Decluttr made it easy and hassle-free to sell my device, and I would use them again.

I normally trade-in the electronics I no longer use at my nearest 'yellow tag' electronics retailer and just accepted whatever price I was given. The problem with this is that the amount is usually low and limited to store credit only. Wondering what other options were out there, I researched Decluttr and noticed that they pay a higher amount than others and I would receive payment in a check or via Paypal. I was initially apprehensive about mailing in my electronics however I decided to take the jump with one older device I had. After I sent off the package via UPS, I was able to track when it arrived and I was paid the price quoted online within a day to my Paypal account. The process was relatively easy and painless! Had I known about Decluttr sooner I would have more cash in my pocket! I have now used Decluttr for a total of three devices and will continue to do so in the future!

I am always very skeptical and hesitant about shipping anything of monetary value with hopes of actually receiving a payment. Simply because it is 2020 and there is no way of actually ensuring that a company or person your dealing with is honest and will follow through with payment as promised. I don't ever write reviews however I felt that I really needed about Decluttr and for those who are unfamiliar with and skeptical about utilizing this company. I have now placed 4 orders with Decluttr and all have been seamless transactions and the cash offers on individual dvd/Blu-ray movies is way more than any other company I have dealt with and that's been a lot. I will continue to use Decluttr and I truly hope if you haven't already that you will give them a chance and I can promise that you won't be disappointed nor will you regret it! Decluttr is DEFINITELY the best route to take after you declutter your media cabinet! So get busy today and get paid tomorrow!

Decluttr I have already sold one old cellphone to Decluttr and I received the payment within 24 hours of them receiving my phone

I have already sold one old cellphone to Decluttr and I received the payment within 24 hours of them receiving my phone. I really like this service. I considered selling on eBay, but Decluttr is much easier to use, so I chose them instead. There are no fees when it sells and shipping to them is free. I sent my phone to Decluttr and they paid the quoted price right away.

I also looked into another service that does the same thing, but Decluttr offered a much better price. The other company claims they will match or beat the prices of their competitors, but they couldn't do it for the almost new 2020 phone I wanted to sell. They couldn't even come close - they offered just a little over half of what Decluttr was paying.

With eBay, I might have gotten more money, but the convenience of Decluttr was too good to pass up. I am currently getting ready to sell a second used cellphone to Decluttr. Their customer service was quick in responding to my questions, which I also liked.

The only thing I didn't like is that they don't accept all electronics. I guess they only take the ones that will sell quickly. I wanted to sell a Kindle Paperwhite, and although it is an option to sell it to Decluttr, they are not currently accepting them. But I suppose that's their choice since they offer decent prices.

Based on the convenience and good prices I have experienced so far, I highly recommend Decluttr.

Decluttr Frustrating experience with Decluttr: Lost my iPhone XS Max and received poor customer service

When I sent my iPhone XS Max to sell on Decluttr for $180, they evaluated it upon receipt and informed me via email that it did not qualify. They offered me the options to recycle or return my device to me. Since I had moved, I changed my address on my account to a P.O. Box. I waited over a week for an email about the shipment, but received none. I then checked my account on Decluttr, and there were no tracking numbers indicating that my phone was shipped back. I contacted them via email, and they gave me the tracking number. However, when I tracked the shipment, it showed that the phone was delivered to an apartment, not my P.O. Box. I contacted them again to confirm where they sent my phone to, and they said they sent it to my old address where I no longer lived. I explained to them that I had updated my address on the same day the phone did not qualify, and when I showed them proof, they stopped replying. As a result, I did not receive my money, and I lost a perfectly good phone. I am hoping that Decluttr will reimburse me for the phone's value or a brand new iPhone XS Max. It was frustrating to deal with their customer service, which acted as if they did not see the address update. Overall, my experience with Decluttr was disappointing, and I would not recommend them to anyone.

Decluttr Poor Service and Undervaluation: My Experience Selling to Decluttr

Decluttr ain't no good. I sent them my 5th Generation iPod Touch that was in real good condition, and they turned around and said it wasn't in good condition. They only offered me $2.60 for it or the option to have it shipped back to me. I chose to have it shipped back to me because I knew there was nothing wrong with it.

Fast forward to July 13th, and I still ain't got my iPod back yet. I emailed them to let them know, and they told me to contact the post office. But when I checked the tracking information, it said that the post office ain't even got it yet. And that's when they told me that they gave my package to UPS first, then UPS gave it to the post office. But they never gave me the UPS tracking information, so how was I supposed to know that?

Next thing I know, they send me a claim form for $2.60. But my iPod was worth $41! I ain't filling out that claim form for that measly amount. They need to get their act together and give me what my iPod was worth.

Decluttr Disappointing Experience with Decluttr: Late Response and Pixel Burn

I've gotta say, I was pretty disappointed in my experience with Decluttr. I ordered a Pixel 3 that was supposedly in "pristine" condition, but when I got it, there was a small pixel burn at the bottom of the boot screen. And it wasn't just on the boot screen - it persisted during regular use of the phone, too. Considering that the phone was supposed to have passed a 90-point inspection that includes a screen pixel test, this was a major letdown.

So, I decided to return it. But here's the thing - Decluttr doesn't offer a way to talk to someone on the phone or via chat. Instead, I had to submit a form to request a refund. I waited a day, and then another. But no response. Eventually, I found an email address and sent an email. Still no response. This went on for a few more days. And during that time, I started reading reviews of Decluttr online. And let me tell you, they were not good. Lots of people were saying that they got no response from the company, or that their phones were damaged after being sold to Decluttr. I was really starting to wonder if I had made a big mistake.

Finally, after nearly a week, I heard back from someone at Decluttr. Jenny was the agent who responded to my emails, and she was polite and professional. She agreed to give me a full refund, which was good. But I'd be lying if I said I wasn't still a bit wary of the whole situation.

The thing is, I chose Decluttr in the first place because of their 12-month warranty and their 90-point phone check. But if they can't even respond to my emails in a timely manner, how can I trust that they'll actually honor their warranty if something goes wrong? I just don't think I can take that risk again. Until Decluttr improves their customer service, I'll be shopping elsewhere.

Decluttr DeCluttr Review: False Promises and Terrible Service for Selling Used Items Online

So, a couple of months ago, I thought to myself, "Self, it's high time we get rid of some of this used clutter!" I decided to try out a few online selling websites and eventually stumbled upon Decluttr. I wasn't expecting much, but it seemed like a convenient option and definitely better than the local pawn shop (even if the payout might be similar or worse). I took pictures and recorded everything carefully, trying to optimize prices between the offers of the websites I used. Occasionally, Decluttr had a much better offer than the others. Well, that turned out to be pointless.

After shipping my items using their service, I received a notification that the package was received and that they would get back to me likely within a few days after evaluating the contents. All was fine and good, until over two weeks passed with no contact from Decluttr. I attempted to contact the website and left a message, but they failed to get back to me. As I was quite busy at the time, it wasn't my top priority, so I let it go for a bit. But after a whole month had passed since my initial message, I sent them another message. This time, they responded after a week.

Their answer: The package was incomplete and appeared to have been opened or damaged with some contents lost. Great, then why hadn't they contacted me immediately and let me know which contents were lost? I decided to let the matter slide, but a customer service professional that thinks this is an acceptable answer baffles me. Clearly, they sold the items that were sent without ever giving me a choice on compensation or whether I would like to have the items that arrived returned. A few of those items would have even been worth Ebay-ing had I known what to expect from their "service."

There are better options available for online selling and trading, and I had no issue whatsoever with Bonavendi and the seller I used there. I strongly discourage anyone from using DeCluttr, as they are not worth the time and effort. Any number of options is better (I cannot imagine worse) including donation or gifting the items. Clearly, they are a company that banks on false promises and the whole or your money back scam. It's frustrating, but I suppose it's just another example of online buying and selling gone awry.

Decluttr Terrible experience with Decluttr- Refused refund for faulty phone despite proof of innocence

I bought a refurbished Motorola G7 play from Decluttr on 03/20/20 and it arrived on 03/25/20. I was excited to set it up and use it but to my surprise, there was a Google security lock on it that kept asking me to enter the original email associated with the phone. I had never encountered such a problem before and it was frustrating. So, I immediately called Motorola to see if they could help me with it but they advised me to contact Google since it was a security lock. I contacted Google but they couldn't figure it out either. They recommended that I return the phone for a refund or a replacement.

I was disappointed with this experience and I decided to contact Decluttr for a return shipping label. After I provided them with all the necessary details, they refused to refund my money and accused me of the Google security lock. This was not my fault and it was frustrating to deal with such dishonesty. I was furious and I hope that this is going to be resolved soon and that they will provide me with a full refund.

After a few months, I received a "helpful vote" notification which reminded me that I never updated the ending to this frustrating experience. Basically, Decluttr refused to provide me with a refund despite the fact that the security lock wasn't my fault. Fortunately, I had paid through PayPal and I was able to dispute the charges. I provided PayPal with the proof of me calling Motorola and Google and I asked them to send me proof of my initial call with them. Within a few hours, PayPal refunded me my money. A few days later, I received an email from Veronica from Decluttr, telling me that they had initiated a refund. However, this was a lie because PayPal took the money back without their consent.

My experience with Decluttr was terrible, and I wouldn't recommend anyone purchasing from them. But if you must, make sure you use PayPal as your payment method so you can have a way to dispute the payment and get a refund if there are any problems. I believe that previous buyers and potential sellers of electronics should unite and file a class action lawsuit against this company. They are dishonest and have no morals. They need to be held accountable for their actions, and they should be permanently shut down.

Decluttr Find another way to Decluttr

This company will technically help you Declutter' your home, but you would save time, effort, and stress by simply just throwing your tech items in the nearest trash can or gutter; they should change their name to DeGuttr' in fact. My fianc? and I each sent a package full of tech items (mine several used DVDs and a used PS2 in fair condition, him with an iPhone SE, Galaxy J3, and 8 Blu-Rays), and the UPS store entered them in the system together (UPS receipt attached). I received payment via direct deposit for my items, although certainly no where near close to what I was quoted, but my fianc? received nothing, not even a confirmation email stating they received his package/items. We decided to wait the customary 7-10 business days just to be certain payment wouldn't come, and I even received an additional $5 friend referral bonus for referring my fianc?. We actually looked up his package's UPS tracking number, which states that the package was received by Decluttr on the same day they received my package, and signed by an employee named Coleman. So, about 2 weeks after sending the package(s), we called them and regretted it instantly. We were given so much grief for not having the order number but something was clearly wrong with my fianc?'s account as his order wasn't accessible, so we couldn't give them an order number; nor did we ever receive a confirmation email that the package was received. The customer service rep was extremely rude and refused to help me unless I had an order number and wouldn't let me speak to a supervisor/manager, and even refused to give me her name to I could file a grievance on her for poor service. We then just decided to email them and after another week finally received a response, if you could call it that. We were told that his package wasn't received, but that's disproven by the UPS tracking number search status. Over the course of the next week or so, the emails between my fianc? and this company were just a bunch of back and forth discord and then they suddenly stopped altogether. We have emailed a few times since and called but no one has gotten back to him at all. Every time we call the rep states that the managers are in a meeting, are gone for the day, or whatever other excuse they decide on at the time. We leave our number and fianc?'s name, but no one has called back, and at this point it has been over a month since our/his package was sent. The rare opportunities that a helpful rep without a horrible attitude answers the phone, the whole order number issue is brought up and debated over yet again as my fianc? has yet to access his account, and then it's still mentioned that the package wasn't received. Therefore, we have received no payment for my fianc?'s items, cannot have any of his items sent back to us because now it's unknown where the package even is, and there's absolutely nothing more we can do about it at this point because no one will help us or even get back to us to discuss this issue, let alone attempt to resolve it. How is it that I was able to receive the $5 friend referral bonus for referring my fianc? if they never received his package, and why is it that he can't access his own orders on his account? Please don't send this company anything of even the slightest value as you will certainly be disappointed either when you receive a payment much less than quoted or expected, or you won't receive payment at all, but either way you most likely will NOT get your items back. We are now out the almost $100 this company originally quoted, as well as my fianc?'s items so we can't sale them elsewhere now. To make this whole issue all the more devastating to my fianc? and I is the fact that we were only selling our stuff in order to afford medical treatment to begin my 9 month old daughter's recently diagnose Juvenile Leukemia, white blood cell therapy. These people are clearly horrible, consumer abusing, fraudulent and thieving, poor excuses for human beings, and I have no doubt whatsoever that this company will be ultimately forced to close their doors, but until then, extreme caution is advised. God bless!

Decluttr Decluttr Review: Dishonest and Untrustworthy - Don't Make the Same Mistake I Did!

So I gotta tell ya, I had a pretty rough time with Decluttr. I mean, I sent them my phone in great condition last December hoping to get some cash for it. But then they claimed it was damaged when it got to them. I called them and said, "Hey, what's up with that? My phone was fine when I sent it." And they were like, "Oh, we'll look into it and get back to you." So I waited and waited and checked in every couple weeks to see what was going on. And they always said they were still investigating the issue. I mean, four months later and still no resolution?

So I got pretty mad one day and demanded to talk to a supervisor or someone who could actually help me. They said they'd escalate the issue and get back to me. But then the next week they told me my phone had been returned to me and marked as delivered. But that was super weird because I never got it back. I even went to the post office and talked to a supervisor there about it, and they said the tracking info was bogus and they never got a package like that.

So I called Decluttr again and said, "Hey, what's the deal? Where's my phone?" And they told me it wasn't their problem anymore. Like, seriously? They claim they sent it back to me but they never told me they were doing that. And then they stop talking to me altogether like it's not their problem anymore. Who does that?

Long story short, don't send your phone to Decluttr. They're not honest or trustworthy. And now I'm out a phone and some money. I won't let this go until they do something to fix it. Don't make the same mistake I did and trust these guys. They're a joke.

Decluttr Mixed Experience with Decluttr: Coupon Codes Don't Work & Missing Items!

So, I gotta say, I've had quite the mixed bag experience with Decluttr. On the one hand, they sometimes send out coupon codes for extra savings, which is always nice. But, and this is a big ol' but, when you try to use said coupon codes, they don't always work! Come on, Decluttr, ya gotta better than that.

But that's not even the worst part. The real kicker is that they've deleted items from my orders without any kind of notice. Like, what the heck, dude? You'd think that if you save an order, it would stay that way until you're ready to send it out. But oh no, Decluttr decides to just randomly delete items and then you're left with way less money than you were expecting. It's shady AF.

I've sent in a ton of CDs over the years, and now I'm wondering how many of them they've "lost" and never paid me for. I mean, I save an order thinking I'm good to go and then when I come back later, half the items are missing? That's some shady stuff right there.

And when I tried to complain, all I got was some half-hearted apology. They basically told me it was my fault for not checking the order before sending it out. Like, come on, man. How was I supposed to know they were just gonna randomly delete stuff? And of course, they won't send back the items or anything. So frustrating.

Overall, I've made some money using Decluttr, but now I'm seriously questioning whether it's worth it. I don't know how many CDs I've sent in that I wasn't paid for, and I'm sure I'm not the only one. It's just not cool, man. Not cool at all.

Decluttr Decluttr: Long wait times, poor communication, missing items - my terrible experience

This company ain't for nobody who wants to get things done fast. I sent them an iPad, Smart Keyboard, and First Gen Apple Pencil, and they promised me the best price, so I was happy to oblige. The items I sent were almost new because I barely used them. If y'all know how hard it would be to get my payment, I would have simply kept my stuff.
After I sent them, I got a message from UPS saying that Decluttr had them already. But then, two days after, my Decluttr account still indicated that they hadn't got them. I hit up their customer service via email because they don't have phone support, and they said I have to wait for a quality check. It wasn't until after they responded that suddenly my parcel magically arrived for them to start analyzing it. But then, 4 business days rolled by and I still had no update on my order.
I promptly emailed them, and they had the impudence to say that they were missing two items, including the keyboard and pencil, saying that's why they hadn't even started checking my order. It's all a bunch of lies. I put everything in the same package, wrapped them up real good in a white bubble wrap bag and slipped them in a box that I bought from UPS. I told them this, and they seemed to mysteriously find my 'missing' things. Finally, they started processing my order. And then, lo and behold, they messaged me two hours later saying that they've had to knock the price of my quoted pencil down since it had a bit of damage.
The entire process made me crazy, but I'd reached the end of my rope. I accepted their offer to pay and walked away. Unless you want a piece of this stress, never even think of doing business with them.

Decluttr Disappointed with Decluttr: Promised $162.50 for iPhone 6, only received $33 with no explanation

Sold my iPhone 6 via Decluttr and wasn't impressed with the experience. I was promised $162.50 for the phone, which I mailed on 12/29/16 after verifying that it met all the requirements on the website. Delivery confirmation came in on 1/3/17, so I assumed everything was going smoothly. However, when I checked PayPal, I realized that I'd only received $33. That's a huge gap! I have no idea why I was shortchanged and the company has yet to get back to me.

I've tried contacting Decluttr multiple times via their online form, email addresses, and phone number. Unfortunately, nobody seems to be answering the phone and I haven't received a response to my inquiries. If you take a look at the site, you'll notice that Decluttr promises to "pay the full amount we offer for your Tech or return them for FREE." Well, neither of those things have happened for me. My item wasn't returned and I definitely didn't get the full amount.

Decluttr does mention that they might revise the offer after inspecting the item, but only if it doesn't match the initial description. That's not the case here - my phone was in the condition I'd listed. Plus, the site says that I would receive an email if there was a revised offer. I didn't receive anything. No communication at all.

All in all, I wouldn't recommend using Decluttr based on my experience. It's frustrating to not get the money you were promised (and to not receive any kind of explanation), especially when you've already mailed off your device.

Decluttr Decluttr.com Review: Don't trust them with your stuff!

So, I gotta be honest with y'all about Decluttr.com. I know sometimes we all want to make a little extra cash, but think twice before you send your stuff to Decluttr. I had a storage locker to clean out after a family member passed away, and I needed the cash to pay some overdue bills and funeral expenses. I boxed up the stuff I thought would be suitable, scanned it, and sent it in day by day. A whole month went by, and still no check. I realized they received my boxes, but they weren't paying out. Confused and frustrated, I contacted them multiple times, but all I got back was the same template message from Chris in Customer Services. You know, the one that says something like "Thanks for your message - but we didn't get this one book - you sure you sent it?"

Now here's the problem: they mark your stuff as received but don't pay you out. Then, they turn around and use your stuff to sell or resell, hoping you won't notice. When you finally contact them, they come up with excuses about missing pieces or they'll offer you less money than what they originally promised. They never, ever contact you to say, "Hey, we got your stuff, but some of it wasn't in the box you sent." And it's all BS because everything was in that box!

I'm thinking that I might need to videotape the whole process of me putting things in the box, sealing it up, and sending it out. That way, I can tell them I have proof that I sent everything. But honestly, who has time for all that? My advice: just don't use Decluttr. You'd be better off donating to a charity, especially after the pandemic when so many people are struggling.

Decluttr Decluttr Review: Disappointing Experience, Payment Delay & Excuses. I Don't Recommend It

I gotta say, my experience with decluttr was pretty disappointing. I was really excited to get rid of a bunch of my old CDs and make a little cash in the process, but it turned out to be more trouble than it was worth. I sent a big ol' box of discs their way and waited for what felt like forever to get my payment. When I finally reached out to ask what was up, I got some lame excuse about it being too late to make a claim on the shipment or something.

Now, I'm no math genius or anything, but I'm pretty sure a month is longer than 28 days, which means they should have been able to pay me for my stuff without any issue. Instead, it seems like they just took my items and decided not to give me what I was owed. To be honest, it felt pretty shady.

If you're thinking about using decluttr to sell your old stuff, I'd recommend thinking twice. It might be easier to just give your items away locally or find another online marketplace that's more dependable. I mean, sure, it'll take a little more legwork, but at least you won't end up feeling ripped off like I did.

Overall, I wouldn't recommend dealing with this company. Save yourself the hassle and find another way to get rid of your clutter. It's just not worth the frustration.

Decluttr Decluttr: Dishonest Scammers Who Will Keep Your Money When They're at Fault

I had a really bad experience with Decluttr. They sent me the wrong item and asked me to ship it back. I'm not someone who trusts easily, so I wanted to make sure I had proof of shipment, just in case something went wrong. I paid four times what it cost to ship the item back, just so I could have tracking and delivery confirmation. I thought this was a good idea, because then they couldn't say they didn't get it. Boy, was I wrong!

Even though they were supposed to refund me for the shipping fees, they didn't. I was promised this before I even returned their item. I never received the item I ordered, and I never got my money back. Even though the tracking showed the item I returned as delivered, this place kept saying the item I returned never arrived. They asked me for pictures of the shipping receipt, which I sent multiple times, but no one seemed to get them. I even included the image in the body of one email, but still, nothing. I was either ignored or asked to resend the pic because they didn't get the pictures.

This went on for months. I asked if they located the return, and they said no and asked for pics of the shipping receipt. I waited a couple of days and asked them if they got the pictures, and they said no. It was like they were playing me, and I just couldn't take it anymore. After months of being jerked around, I finally gave up and reported them to the better business bureau.

Honestly, I would rather pay more for something than do business with Decluttr again. They are dishonest scammers who have no problem keeping your money when they made a mistake. I don't normally leave reviews like this because no other company I deal with treats their customers this way. So, please, save your hard-earned money and spend it somewhere else. I promise you won't regret it.

Decluttr Decluttr.com: A Scam Disguised as a Declutter Solution

Decluttr.com is a site that is supposed to help you declutter your life by offering to buy your unwanted gadgets. I don't know about you, but I'm not feeling the declutter joy yet. Why, you ask? Well, let me tell you.

For starters, their offer is way higher than anything else out there. But let me tell you, that should have been red flag number one. I shipped off my phone, thinking I'm getting a sweet deal. But then, I get an email back stating that my phone is not in the condition that I claimed it was in. In other words, they were lowballing me!

I call BS on that. I wrapped that phone up better than a Christmas present. They said my screen was broken, but I doubt that. I declined their low offer, asking for my phone to be returned. They gave me a tracking number that doesn't show up in the shipping company's database. I mean, come on, guys! If you're gonna scam people, at least have the decency to own up to it and send them a "Gotcha" email.

Oh, and don't even get me started on their customer service - or should I say, lack thereof. These guys don't even have a phone! How are you gonna run a business without a phone? It's 2021, people - we all have phones! Maybe they should activate one of the phones they scam from people and use it for customer service.

I don't know about you, but I wouldn't recommend this site to anyone. If you want to declutter your stuff, go to a trustworthy site. And if you're waiting for cash or a phone from Decluttr for Christmas, you better have a backup plan, because you might end up disappointed. And if you want to read more reviews, check out sitejabber.com.

In conclusion, don't waste your time with Decluttr. Save yourself the headache.

Decluttr Late Delivery and Missing Items: My Negative Experience with Decluttr as an eBay Seller

So, I am this eBay seller, right? And I decided to use this website called Decluttr to clear some inventory and free up some much-needed space. Like any other seller, I was totally skeptical about whether it was worth it or not but, I decided to give it a go. I was looking for any opportunity to make some money off of my old, unused stuff. I mean, why not, right?

Anyway, I ended up sending in 7 whopping boxes with a total of around 90 items over the course of a few days. One of those boxes was exclusively filled with the way-too-rare 11 college textbooks that I wanted to get rid of so badly. And guess what, my friends? I didn't receive a payment for it! Crazy, right? So, I checked the tracking info and, well, what do you know, it was late for some reason whilst it was on its way to Decluttr.

Now, all of my other boxes that I sent before and after this particular one made it there on time, so I was kinda confused and a bit bummed out when I didn't receive a payment for this one. But I figured it was just because it was late, you know, stuff happens sometimes. Turns out, it wasn't that simple at all. So, I decided to send them an email to complain about not getting paid for this particular box and, lo and behold, I get a message back from them saying that THREE out of the eleven books were "missing"! Ugh, I was not a happy camper, let me tell you that.

These three books were all the college textbooks that I mentioned earlier and they were all extremely rare and valuable. Like, seriously, I could've made a killing if I had resold them on eBay. But nope, I get told that they're missing. As an actual eBay seller who's been buying and selling for a while, I knew that these books could sell for at least $30 or more. But I wanted to clear up my inventory, so I just went ahead and purged them anyway. Clearly, that was not a good decision since now my payment is being held up because of the books that are "missing" from this one box.

Here's what I think happened: I think that someone probably stole the books while the box was in transit. Maybe it was a fellow book seller who thought that they could make some quick cash or maybe it was a Decluttr employee who stole them. I don't know, but either way, it's a pretty shady situation. I just can't understand how three college textbooks could just go "missing" like that. I mean, it's not like they're your average 10 or 15 dollar books.

I'm pretty upset about the whole thing and I might not send my other inventory in with Decluttr again. It's just not worth it to me if I'm not going to get paid what I'm owed. Maybe they can prove that I sent the books by comparing the weight of the box from UPS to the combined weight of the books on the order. Three textbooks missing would cause discrepancy in the weight of the box. But either way, I'm just not happy with the way this whole situation was handled.

Decluttr Decluttr Review: Not a Fair Deal for My Used Phones

I've gotta say, I looked into Decluttr before sending in my used phones, but boy do I regret choosing them now. I made sure to wipe and package my two Samsung Galaxy S7s and Google Pixel 3 carefully before shipping them off, as I wanted to make sure they were in the best possible condition. But despite this, Decluttr didn't seem to think so highly of my devices.

They made me an initial offer that seemed fair enough for each device, but then they started nitpicking and dropping the price based on what they claimed to have found during inspection. I didn't agree with all of their claims, but I didn't want to waste my precious time arguing with them about it. So, I ended up accepting their lowered offers of $5 for one S7 and $6.20 for the Pixel 3.

But then, to add insult to injury, they claimed that the other S7 had "failed inspection" and they couldn't offer me any money for it. They offered to either recycle it or send it back to me for free, but I was just so frustrated with their lack of transparency and communication by that point.

Honestly, I wouldn't recommend Decluttr to anyone looking to sell their used phones. It's much better to find a local company that you can actually talk to face to face, so you can be sure that you're getting a fair deal. And as for me, well, I'll be taking my business elsewhere from now on.

Here's what they said about each of my devices:

Order *** - Samsung Galaxy S7 32GB UNLOCKED

"We found your item to be: (Galaxy S7 32GB UNLOCKED Faulty)
