We purchased an office chair from them on Friday 26 April 2024 late afternoon. It was dispatched in a box and once at my husband's office, we set it up and found the chair to be tilting and defective.
The chair was not used on Friday or over the weekend and first thing on Monday morning they were contacted so that we could make arrangements for an exchange.
They advised that we could not bring the chair in until they got authorization from their head office etc etc. After being sent from pillar to post, we got an email at the end of yesterday saying that they would not accept it back because we had assembled it.
Are you telling me that in today's day and age, they do not offer a warranty on goods because they sell it boxed and side step because the CUSTOMER set it up.

27 August 2024 I placed an online order for furniture to the amount of R34 933, up to this day I haven't received my order, I've been in contact with decofurn and no one is helping me, I keep getting empty promises that my order is processing, I don't know what to do anymore, I wish I had come to this side before placing my order, I wouldn't have bought from decofurn as I'm deeply disappointed and I regret buying from them.

On December 9, 2023, I went to Decofurn Silverlakes to buy a TV stand unit and a standing lamp. The lamp was not in store, and an order was placed. I stay 40 minutes away from this store and phone them every week to check if my goods were received since they don't even send me a message or phone call when goods are available. I called them on Thursday, and they said that they were waiting for delivery. Today, December 29, 2023, I phoned them, and they said that my art and lamp were there. When I arrived at the shop to collect, only the art was delivered. When I asked where the lamp was, I was very rudely informed that the driver was on leave and they had no idea when I would receive the lamp. Never have I received worse service delivery than from Decofurn Silverlakes, and the only solution they have is for me to wait until they receive the lamp.I will never buy ANYTHING from Decofurn and will also tell everyone about your very very poir service!

I purchased dinner room set from Northland's Deco Park

The screws on the chairs was loose, guys came to repairs the chairs, they was unable to repair it, we returned the 8 chairs on the 20 July 2023, I purchase new chairs price was more, paid for it, waited for delivery,
Took one month to manufacture, day of the delivery 25 August 2023, warehouse manager took picture of the chairs all the legs different shades of brown.
Due to the poor service, terrible experience,
I will be taking this matter further to the
Furniture Ombudsman.

AXA 2 Drawer Unit
After delivery I opened the unit box and the drawer was damaged.
I send an email regarding the broken item if they could refund or send me a new one, but they didn't make much of an effort to acomadate me in this matter and said they can't be help liable for damages that occur.
I won't buy from them in the future.
PLEASE make sure ALL your parcels are in good condition BEFORE the delivery guy go !
MEELU Motion Z40 Mattress
It's been months with practically no customer service.
I bought a rock-hard MEELU MOTION Z40 mattress from Decofurn and requested details on the return or refund process with minimal reply from the assigned agent. Replies are only given days after following up, I feel like I have to beg for some service.
I have submitted numerous complaints about the mattress causing body pain for me, as well as my husband. I was told that a topper would be arranged, this has not happened and after months of uncomfortable, painful naps (I don't feel like I have experienced any proper sleep on this mattress) no solution or information has been provided. I just want a good night's sleep and I feel like Decofurn is preventing this.
Desired outcome: I want a refund or opportunity to exchange the product for another.

So today, 11 June, we drove via the sinkhole in road to the Decofurn showroom in Ruimsig, 40 minutes from our home, the new outlet and showroom recently opened. Looking for a chest of draws and side table, we found just what we wanted. The Louise dark wood chest of drawers with beautiful matching pedestals. "NO STOCK" says the salesman. Can we purchase the one on the showroom floor."No. We don't sell the showroom items" apparently head office keeps one in each store but don't sell them till they order more... from overseas to Cape-Town. It could take MONTHS! What the actual furniture! We had cash in hand... at the outlet. I'm fuming! Shove it DECOFURN. What makes you so special?
L shape leather upper lounge suite
I spent over r 45 000 at this store at once to buy new furniture for my new home. Just been a couple of years and my lounge suite is pealing off. Contacted store and was told 1-year warranty is over. R 15000 gone down the drain. I have to now sell this couch for like free and buy something else. Will not recommend decofurn to anyone and hope this company is closed down. Overpriced items with no after service and quality is very bad.

Good day,
I am complaining about first the service or treatment I received on the 06/01/2023 while buying furniture of R24 088. First I didn't get the instant link to pay and secondly I was told all my cards are not working.
I managed to do an eft which the told me that they will deliver my furniture the following day which was Saturday or Sunday for free. Sunday I received a call and I had to book a and pay a mini truck and when I got there at Decofurn Montague Gardens my furniture was shot of 4 chesterfield dining chairs.
They told me they will call me on Monday the 09/01/2023 to deliver the remaining items but nothing happened and still Tuesday the 10/01/2023 still no call received from Decofurn.
I am so hurt, angry and so disappointed about what is happening.

I'll never ever purchase anything from Decorfun. Not that I'm stereotyping but the staff there doesn't have customer etiquette, they're liars and they ripped me off. They claim to get you whatever you want at a discount but don't fall for it it's a lie. At the end of the day you end up paying more. I remember I even gave two of the guys generous tips only to realise none of them deserved it.

I have saved throughout the year to purchase November specials / Black Friday specials for specials at Decofurn…
• Some of the items are not as “good quality” as the website portrays it – hence the request for returns on certain items.
• I have reached out multiple times with no luck. via telephone, numerous emails, SMS etc… STILL no communication from their side.
• Your website states once you’ve logged a return someone will be in touch 72hours! Not the case? I have not been attended to since my first logged communication. I understand that were busy with “black Friday” but my orders dates prior to this, Black Friday is now a thing of the past. We are sitting in DECEMBER! YET no response?
• I am not happy in the way I have been treated as a client. I have spent A LOT of money! TOTAL amount deducted from credit card R 32 0000 (Total spend on both orders) request for credit on items of “bad quality” R16 000 (for both orders) Quick to take my money – but no response on returns? This is Unacceptable and bordering on theft! No one has R16 000 lying around for spare cash. I certainly don’t. I need to get this money back in my credit card ASAP. Hopefully you will be paying me with interest the way things are going? I can not understand why no one is attending to this?

I went into decofurn in Montague gardens yesterday to buy chairs.
I spoke to the sales staff and made it clear i DID NOT WANT FLAT PACK chairs.
They showed me chairs and we decided to take 4 and come back for the other 2 today. I paid and went to collect them only to find them in Boxes.
When i went back to the cashier, she said they NOT flat pack and after deliberation with the manger who was also not sure they agreed they where in fact flat pack.
There response was do i not want other chairs. i just sent over an hour with my family deciding on chairs why would i want others.
Now 20 minutes after i paid i asked for a refund ONLY to be told it would take 7 - 10 working days to refund me.
WHY was this not explained to me BEFORE i purchased. No where does it state this fact.
NOW i have to put my chair search on hold and have a table at home with NO chairs until i get refunded in 7 - 10 days, as there are no other funds available.
Your staff need to be trained correctly, and know the product, not just order takers. they will say anything to get a sale and show little interest in your actual needs.
SAD, that I know have family and friends coming to my new house for dinner Friday night and will be eating on our laps instead of the new chairs.
Going to be an interesting topic of conversation explaining to them my dilemma.

Leather lounge suite
I complained about this issue some months ago but to date I have not heard from you.
So hear goes again.
I purchased the three piece lounge suite for the price of R15000.
I had it 3 months when they had to replace some of the back rests of the one seater and three seater as it fell in (collapsed).
We are only 2 people in our household and hardly ever get visitors but at this point I don't want to invite even my family over due to the state of the couches. The leather is peeling of on all the couches now. If you sit and stand up after a while your clothing are covered in material sticking to your back and trousers.
I have had this set for five years and this is the state it is in. It has not been vandalized and we both work all day. We only use it for about three hours in the evening, so it is not even used a lot.
My sister bought the exact same set three years before I did and hers are still in a good condition. They are five people in the house, three which is teenagers. They get friends over all the time.
I think Decofurn started using a cheaper supplier using a weaker quality material.
Can you assist me in sorting this out?

I spent so much money on a 8 piece recliner leather set, it hasn't even been long and it is already peeling. I sent a email to info but no response, they take our money easily but fail to provide quality furniture.

I also wish this site could have a picture upload so that everyone could see how the recliner couches I bought at decofurn looks for R15000. The leather is literally peeling off they look horrible! I am embarrassed just to have visitors at my house because of how my couches look! My sister bought her set 3 years before i did and hers are still in great shape. I think they changed supplier to get a better profit margin. I feel like dropping it at there doorstep.
