Deem credit card
I am having a deem credit card. I was informed by the sales executive that it is free for life, but I after one year I am charged. Before the due date I raised a dispute and complain. Nothing was resolved and I didn't receive any communication from them. Again I am charged late payment fees non payment of annual fees. Is it fair to have 2 charges on the same thing for which I raised a dispute

Hi Team,
For the last 2 months, I am being billed incorrectly for my credit card no. XXXX, same email id is registered and phone no. is [protected].
When I applied for the card, I informed the Sales Executive from Deem, named Mithun to remove the DEEM DOUBLE SECURE feature as I don't want this and still I got billed for the same, every time Mithun said that he has requested for deactivating it and I'll get the refund but nothing has been refunded.
I request you to please refund the charges billed and remove this service immediately.
Another concern is that i am being billed incorrectly, even maths is not happening in the statement, i am unable to understand how the total amount is this much while I have not used the card also the total due is not matching with the detailed statement.
I have sent an email as well but there is no response on the same.
Mentioned in website but not agreed for 0% installment plant
Hi purchase one air ticket yesterday by Air arebia website, after reading for 0% installment plan with 3% processing fees no any interest. Now why bank denied to convert into installment ? They are saying interest will be applicable .. how come ? So why u have mentioned at website ? that no interest will be applicable. Very very disappointed i want to convert this to 0% installment plant or i will cancel all credit card of mine and my family members. I want solution pls asap. I have attached screenshot of which clearly saws you have mentioned no interest at all ! So how come u tell me to pay interest ? Check

Service complaint - poor response from deem customer care
Hi,
This is regarding the very bad response i received from your customer care representative (Mr Ahmed) when i requested and raised a concern regarding the financial charges raised on the due payment. My due date was 22nd of August 2021 and i paid this amount on 22nd itself by 1.30 PM.I got a message that payment was successful as per below screen shot.
Later on 25-08-2021 i got a message that the transaction failed and when i received such a message, i repaid it again.
I called DEEM customer care regarding the DDA amount and it was ok for me since it will be adjusted next time.
Later on August statement, i got financial charges of AED 246.07 for this transaction failure.
I called DEEM customer care (7) at 12.23 PM on 23-09-2021 requestng to reimburse and it was very poor response from Mr Ahmed (DEEM customer care representative) and he was not bothered or trying to understand the scenario happened ( you can check the voice call) and he dont bother if i close this account also.
I request to take urgent action against Mr Ahmed and also to reimburse back this amount AED 246.07.
If you check my payment history, you wnt see any payment delay from my end.
Waiting for positive response.
Also I would like to bring your attention that emails sent to customer care are never responded to on time.
This may result in losing all your customers.

Card Closure Request
Dear Team,
I have raised a card closure request, req no-[protected] on 6th September and it's still pending for last 8working days.
I have tried to reach customer care and drop multiple mails but they are not taking up my request. This is worst service, I am getting from Deem. Please close the card.
Otherwise, I will complaint to UAE Central Bank.

I have paid full amount in due date, but since 5 days I am just waiting to reflect in Credit card statement, I called multiple time there customer service, but they are not giving update, I had sent multiple reminder emails but no reply from Deem….
Security cheq Deposited

My deem card is active until last week of September but April 18th my security cheq was deposited to bank I don't understand why april i have no issues and all my dues i paid until today.
Credit Card - Direct Debit Setup
Deem Finance issued me a credit card for which I specifically asked their staff to setup a direct debit that clears the outstanding amount monthly. I was asked to sign a firm and told that the DD request would be done, and I may get a confirmation call from my bank. Two months later I'm told that a late fine has already been applied on my account and if i don't clear my outstanding bill my credit rating would be affected. I checked with my bank, and surely enough my direct-debit order had been setup even before my card had been shipped out. According to the guy heading customer service, the direct debit was setup but I hadn't signed the form - what sort of a stupid argument is this guy sticking to ? Anyway, after persisting with an email exchange spanning 2 weeks, I'm giving up and going to the body that manages the conduct of financial institutions.

Sales executive lied about charges of credit card
Sales Representative of deem finance begged to me to get a credit card because his job was on stake, he lied about the annual charges or any hidden charges associated with the card.Since i got the card i was getting interest charges on my monthly usage also annual charges, even i am paying monthly payment on time. When i talked to that sales Representative, there is no positive response.

Customer care at Deem finance is non-existent. They keep sending you a copy/paste of what their lawyers scripted for them when the company was being setup.
Less cash point on credit spend
While applying for credit card customer service & advertising for deem will mention it give 3% cash back on all spend but they give 2% for 1st & 2nd month after 3rd month they start fooling customers by giving 1% cash back
Deem should improve fast service to update amount use & update out standing balance
& payment atm machine type is to old style
Soon i will chance my credit card
& advise people go for better bank credit card

Overcharge fees for dds
I am surprised when I receive a notification today,
That my debit card was again debited for dds rtn. Last week my emi for the month was already deducted. So I do not understand why there is additional deduction of 25 aed!? This deem is being abusing the people who are in-debt of them. Making 2x interest for loan and additional charges in credit cards and now this over charging fees? I don't understand why still they are being regulated and being allowed by the uae central bank to work. I am sure that seeing all the reviews here there are enough proofs to close them, but I guess this world is being run by injustices.
I honestly dont recommend taking loan from deem because once you sign with them your life will be in hell. Better ask help from the bank they are more professional. We'll help them get less customers so that they will understand how improper their business is. Their goal is to milk people who are already in worst situation rather than help.

Deem credit card closure request
I have cleared 'ALL' my dues with the Deem credit card department, and called the customer care agents several times to deactivate the credit card/close the credit card. I then started getting marketing calls to not not deactivate it. I was very sure about closing all my associations with this Deem finance. Then this guy changes changes his tone and was rude and threatened that he will be able to close if all dues are paid (this was on 8th July 2021). He said I will receive a call back for any pending amount in 24 hours otherwise I can consider this as closed.
I did not get any call till now and assuming all well and to be assured of closure, I called again today. This new agent says my case is on hold as I am due to make 5.63 AED (5AED and 63 fils). How on earth would I know I have to make this payment when my mobile app was showing 0 dues. No one even called me to say so.
So are you guys trying to keep my account active life long making unreasonable charges and excuses for the same? This agent tells me that I need to write to customer care with the receipt of my payment. Then in seven working days I will get a call back. By then how much more will you try to extract from me?
Is there no law to control this? I am going to report this to media too, as there can be several affected persons like me.
I just called your customer care. Though I made the payment of FIVE DIRHAMS SIXTY THREE FILS on Sunday, this lady says she can see it reflected in the system but can close my account only after it is POSTED. I am a software personnel working in the finance sector, so I know how the posting process works.
It does not need about 50 hours to do the posting!.
I have sent email to your customer care email ID 'customercare@deem.io' with all details.
Please ask them to filter by the name 'Sheeja', and subject line 'Closure of deem credit card account'. This email was sent on Sunday 11th July, 2021.
I do not want to expose my personal details and mobile number in this platform as technology is so advanced and your team can get the email by the filter conditions I provided above.
Are you trying to drag this as much as possible when I had called about FIVE times to close the account and sent emails and placed my complaint here?
Why this delay?
I am also effected by the deem finance. Sales representative lie about the hidden charges and since i got the card i am getting interest charges on monthly bases on my monthly usage even i pay all the dues in time.
Very very poor services and response from the customer care as well.

We do know you have a quota to reach by the end of each month. You do know your scopes and limitations. And yet, you guys always choose to go beyond limit to harass your customers. The more you harass the customers, the more it gets back to you. Pointing fingers on customers like evil scambags, but see yourself as well, YOU WILLL GO A LONG2 WAY JUST TO GET THE QOUTA WHICH IS EQUIVALENT TO MONEY YOU THINK IS WORTH IT BY DEMORALIZING YOU CUSTOMERS. Now ask yourself who is more guiltless. I don't know how you can sleep everyday and waking up doing the same DEMORALIZATION work. Just be mindful that every word you say can make you HOMICIDAL. Contributing to pressure, as your words can hurt a person which leads to the increasing number of Suicide Rates not only here in UAE but in many countries.
P.S. I am saying this on behalf of my friend. He has loan with Dunia which later on became Deem Finance. He is constantly being harassed by Collection Agents for not paying 1-2 EMIs and not even giving him a holiday period. Now he developed Schizophrenia with Suicidal Attempts, as this collection agents are taunting him. Good thing we got him help. Or else by now, we don't know what he would have done. Be mindful.

I have complained with my Deem Credit card. Last year January 3, 2021 Deem charged me annual fee of 200 dirhams. The same year Dec 27, 2021 Deem again charged 200 dirhams for annual fee that result to charged me over the limit fee of 325 dirhams. How come you will charged me two times annual fee with the same year? How, ridiculous. I filed a complaint December 30, 2021 file #([protected]) until now there is no response even how many times calling customer care dept . They told me they will respond 8 working days but to date it's been 17 days without respond.

Complaint Against Mr Talal with evidence for threatening calls and messages
This is to bring into your notice about Mr Talal, from whom I had a terrible bad experience from collection side this month June from one Mr Talal, sending threatening messages and demoralize activities, continuously calling during the job hours, if we obliged to pay, will pay it and its not through these threating calls, messages, and mental harassment. I appreciate remainder calls and not threatening calls, as I have not eloped to my native country, moreover i don't have any pending, deem is mentally torturing for escalating dates for 14 days, I always responded to the call from Deem even in my online job, but not to the unnecessary repeated calls. Mr Talal or nobody has right to threaten and demoralize ladies, sending threatening messages then deleting it, seems as he is very aware about these illegal messages, which i can also proceed legally, here i am sending one sample screenshot.

Payment confirmation
I made a payment thru cheque deposit on 8th May 2021 but still not credited to my account and now deem already charged me an interest rate. I called customer service 4 times and they said that they will get back to me but no luck. My payment due date is on last week of the month and i need the payment to he credited before month end or else they gonna charge me again. It seems that they delay it purposedly to charge me. I have to follow up with them couple of times to check but after that no one gets back to me so i have to follow up again.
Deem, I've been following up thru calling the customer service for the past 2 weeks but payment is still not posted. I had given them enough time to check further. I made the payment on 8th May. Today is 25th no one called me. I'm only able to speak with them if I initiated the call. This is so disappointing!
I know that if you pay at certain locations like ATM machines of other banks or some exchange houses the payment takes 2 days to reflect in your deem account and thats why they charge the late payment fees. best to make payment three days before the due date.

They was very rude they don't care about customers satisfaction and not even trying to help specific person from collection department Mr Ram this how he called him self He don't know how to talk with the people very attitude. He didn't deserve to work in this position
