I called the Del Air technician on 12/29 because the heater on my equipment, which is still under warranty, was not working. The Technician went the same day and concluded that a part was burned out and needed to be replaced. The Technician informed that he would order the part and as soon as it was available they would schedule the replacement (Service Order 1839498).
On 1/2/24, without any response from Del Air, I called again and they informed me that the part had not even been ordered, and that they would send another technician to my home to check if the problem was in fact with the part. The Technician came to my house on 1/2/24 and concluded, again, that the problem was with the part. He informed, again, that he would order the piece and that it was a common piece that was available. He informed me that they would call me the next day (3/1/24) to schedule the installation.
Without having received any call on January 3rd to schedule the installation of the part, I called Del Air again on January 4th, this time they informed that they were waiting for a response from the parts department to inform them of availability. I informed, again, that this is an emergency, the cold is intense, the heater doesn't work, even the Emergency Heater doesn't work, and I have a 3 year old baby at home.
Today, January 5th, I called Del Air once again in an attempt to give me an answer for the installation, again they informed me that they were depending on a response from the parts department and that they would call me back, which has not happened so far.
I'm in an extremely critical situation at home, with intense cold inside the house and with a baby. I need it resolved immediately.
I feel that I am not being adequately attended to for the emergency in question, as Del Air is not treating the lack of heating in my home, of equipment still under warranty, as a priority or emergency.
Desired outcome: I would like the repair, part replacement, replacement of the entire unit, whatever needs to be done, to be done immediately.
